look, i don't even like the amporas that much, but the people openly proclaiming that the references to the aquarius symbol are actually nazi symbols makes me really uncomfortable

it's very obviously not intentional. the aquarius symbol has been around longer than the SS symbol has. the scars on cronus's head are references to harry potter, much like large parts of the ampora's characterization. they're lightning bolts because that's what harry potter has. there's two of them because that's the aquarius symbol, and as a reference to dualscar (who has those same scars in a lot of fanon interpretations, albeit further across his face).

you can be racist or even genocidal and not be a nazi. not all white supremacists are nazis, even. the comparison rings as insensitive at best.

you guys know you can get USB connectable CD, dvd, and blu-ray players right. and you can buy external hard drives with crazy amounts of space for an amount of money that would make the average person from 2009’s head explode bc of how cheap it is. and if you do this and get ripping software such as handbrake for CDs and DVDs and makeMKV for blurays you can both own a physical copy of whatever media you want and make it accessible to yourself no matter where you are. do you guys know this

something so uniquely amazing about watching someone experience homestuck for the first time, especially the lead up to cascade. seeing what they catch and what they don’t, what predictions they make, which ones are astonishingly on the mark and which ones are so far off. there’s so much going on with the characters and themes in homestuck that witnessing someone experiencing it for the first time will always be fascinating and engaging and it always reminds me why i fell in love with it in the first place

Really loving this series so far!

Been a long time since I thought a "cool protagonist" was actually cool. Love how important their blue eyes are to their character and plot. A bit of Japanese history that I don't see often talked about.

I enjoy all the characters; dialogue is both witty and heartfelt. Animation is S-tier with great fight choreography. The lone samurai seaking revenge trope as existed as long as samurai have existed but the anime brings more to the table and its refreshing instead of the same ol' stale sake given to prostitutes.
