there's honestly no surprise here, hm? he's like a walking bear at times, specifically with his hugs. sure, at (rare) times he gives some encouraging hugs to the furin boys, but his bear-hugging arms are reserved for you.

umemiya has healing hugs. paired with his ability to sense a positive or negative change in others, he often surprises you with them, rubbing his face into you, swinging you around a bit with a bright smile on his face, hearty laughter from his lips.

he enjoys the way you feel wrapped in his touch. the way you lean your head against his chest or shoulder, sinking into his embrace.

it's a way he feels extremely close to you, not like how he wants (he wants to melt into your skin), but it's close enough to provide the both of you with the comfort and intimacy the both of you crave.

light kisses

despite the way he seems, he quite enjoys kisses. specifically, giving them. he enjoys giving and recieving affection equally, though there's something special about those little kisses he gives to the palm of your hand, or your knuckles. he peppers them everywhere, but those are his two favorite spots.

his eye watches the way you get flustered. especially, when he decides to make a show of it and bows to one knee to kiss you. "my liege," he'd joke, laughing at your embarrassed reaction.

he loves the way you jump, goosebumps along your arms from the way his lips ghost along your skin, tickling the small hairs on your arms. his entire aim with affection is making you flustered.

if he truly wishes to fluster you, maybe make you a bit hot, he breaths on ear, the air tickling your skin. he presses his lips to the tip of your ear, whispering a comment of praise. it amuses him how you jump and crumble from such a small action.

togame is slow-paced, he has a lazy energy to him more often than not.

there's nothing more that he loves than hugging you close to him and feeling the heat of your body. especially your neck when he peppers kisses on them. the press of your thighs against his, your back to his chest. his hands drift your thighs, squeezing them lightly, "i hope you know, i love you..." he often falls asleep like this, lightly snoring against your back, tugging you onto his lap so you don't leave.

a combination of handholding and hugs

choji is the type of guy to jump and hug you. he wraps his arms so tight, both you and togame have to tell him to let go. the both of you often fall over from the force of him. it's more of his favorite way to greet you than favorite way to show affection.

aside from surprise hugs and clinging to you, he likes to hold your hand. he's perpetually stuck in the childish way of aggressively swinging your arms back and forth as he does, happily smiling an apology when you reach your destination.

he likes to squeeze your hand at times, either to comfort himself, or you.

choji leans close, rubbing his face against you, proving to those you walk around that you are his. there's no shortage of glares he gives people who stare too hard or talk too long ro you.

regardless, he loves being right next you; keeping you close while proving you're together. and as far as cuddling goes??? he's wrapped around you like a fucking monkey. he is NAWT letting you go once he has his hands on you.

“That was hot as fuck.” You hear a voice mutter, as you see your boyfriend, with no mask, and in a band tee and boxers say, as he looked he was about to drop his cereal, with milk dripping down his chin. “We gotta try that in bed more often!”

It was safe to say you and Lucifer were on the shorter end of the scale, so when you needed to find something that was potentially atop the the fridge, it wasn’t ideal…

So, you did as any normal Frankenstein would! You tore off your head and raised it just above the fridge to get a glimpse.

Normally, when your in a predicament where you can’t reach something, you would have Vox do it. But then… he waves it above your head for the next 10 minutes and honestly, you weren’t in the mood for that.

So you did what ya needed to, you popped your head off and lifted it above the fridge before popping it back on, cracking your neck after.

Your boyfriend looks over at you. He doesn’t say anything. Just gives you a raised eyebrow before walking off back to his desk with a small yet quiet “Huh.” coming from his lips.

i said i would make an actual post about this and my irls are sick of me talking about it on ig i’m sure but i do think it’s really really important that people know how much abortion funds are struggling rn on both the local and national levels. after the dobbs decision in 2022 there was a huge surge in donations to ab funds and a lot of them were able to expand their budgets as a result which was amazing. but that money is gone now, it is not being replenished on anywhere near the same level, and abortion access is MUCH more expensive than it was two years ago. these funds don’t just pay for abortion procedures (the cost of which has also gone up btw), they also provide direct support for flights, gas, hotels, because for people living in half the states in the US these are now crucial factors in their ability to access reproductive healthcare. the two biggest national funds (NAF and planned parenthood) have both capped their assistance for individual callers because of the demand, which in turn puts even more strain on local funds to close that gap. so basically if you’re trying to get an abortion as a US citizen today there’s no guarantee you’ll legally be able to in your state, the procedure will be more expensive and it’ll be harder to get an appointment than it was two years ago, and despite you paying what could easily be thousands of dollars to access essential healthcare, where you could have been fully funded by NAF in 2022, these orgs are now only able to pledge 30% of your total cost. funds in my state that have monthly budgets in the tens of thousands are having to close their helplines after two hours every week because of the insane amount of need. granted i live in a state that experiences unique demand as the first access point for many people living in southern states with abortion bans, but we’re not at all unique in the inability to keep up with the amount of people seeking help.

if you gave money to your local abortion fund when dobbs dropped, i guarantee no matter where it is that fund is now overwhelmed with far more demand and much less money than they had in 2022. and abortion funds are some of the only organizations you can donate to and be absolutely certain your money is going directly to people who need it—we’re a very small org but at the last budget meeting for my local fund we literally had less than $30 allocated for anything other than abortion support the entire fiscal year. two years ago people were giving “rage donations” in anger about the future injustices that would happen when abortion bans became widespread, but those things actually ARE happening NOW and there’s a really simple way you can make a small dent in a massive national crisis and it’s by becoming a recurring donor or volunteering for the abortion fund near you. as a country we’ve decided to just accept that women don’t have the right to full bodily autonomy in half of the US but you don’t actually have to accept it, you can stop numbing yourself to the grief you experienced about the end of roe v wade and contribute materially to slowly building that right back up again. and these are the places that are doing that: https://abortionfunds.org/find-a-fund/ and they really need your money

I am in the process of editing and revising my first Youtube video! This has been an on and off dream of mine for like 7 years at this point, but I've finally taken the plunge and gotten to work on a channel. I wanna talk about all sorts of fandoms (including the riordanverse ofc) With videos ranging from plot and character analysis, to trends in fandom culture in general, to fun little ranking videos and speedpaints. All around, I just want the channel to be a fandom hive, where everyone can find something they enjoy.

I already have PNG's created of my sona to use as assets (And I have a sparkly new sona, the one in the pic above!) and I have two finished scripts, with the first one being fully recorded as well! One for my first video, which will be a retrospective on Gravity Falls, and one for a video about the Percy Jackson TV show, the inherent differences between TV and books as mediums, how I think the TV show could improve, and the things I think it got perfectly. I also have a bunch more ideas, such as:

BIG Trials of Apollo video essay, with a focus on how the books and the fandom have effected me over the years.

Ranking all of my favorite characters from all of the media I've been a fan of over the years (This would be over 70 characters)

Explaining the Iliad, but make it funny (with a side of Troy apologia)

Reading Lore Olympus and pointing out how it deviates from myth (the things I'm willing to do for you people /j)

Canon vs. Fanon, where I compare a characters canon characterization with their fanon counterpart and try to figure out how things turned out the way they did.

And more, but I don't want this post to be 5000 words long.

Now here's the big question. As I said in the part above, I'm struggling a bit now money-wise. And I really wanna make this project work, but there's also, you know. Tuition. Rent. Food. Stupid other adult stuff. So if anyone is amenable (and this is totally up to demand, I don't wanna pressure anyone into doing anything!) I was also thinking of maybe making a Patreon. Now, I'd have to do research for this, bc I wanna make sure anyone who signed up would get the right rewards and really get the bang for their buck. ELEMENT TRAITS?? OKAY GHOUL EXPERIMENT AU, HOW DO THEIR ELEMENTS AFFECT THEM? LET'S GO BABY(No multi ghouls cause they're a mix of everything)

We're starting off strong with Mountain cause he's my favorite, he has the ability to grow flowers and plants. In the early stages of his experiment he would spontaneously grow mushrooms all over his body, they were very painful to remove and it would leave scars on his body. As he got older and more accustomed to his new body he was able to grow things on command without straining his body.

Cirrus and Cumulus are the same, they're able to steal people's breath. They can also create tornadoes in the palms of their hands, if this is mixed with fire or water it can become bigger and much more powerful. The girls are able to stop someone's breathing or blood flow which can kill them in a matter of minutes if done properly, they're also able to throw things across the room with a draft of air.

Rain has the ability to control anything water related, if he's in the water he can create tidal waves and whirlpools so strong it can drown someone in a matter of minutes. Rain can also make water levitate and shift into what needs, if he controls it properly he can move it around, but Rain isn't that dangerous on land.

Dewdrop is dangerous, he can heat things up and melt practically anything. Dew can create small flames on his hands which he can use against people, his skin will begin to boil if it reaches a certain point and it's best to steer clear of him when it's like that.

Aether can make things levitate alongside being able to manipulate your perception of reality, Aether is considered the most dangerous ghoul. He can make you hallucinate or he can drive you insane, he knows how to use his powers well and the Sermon uses that against him.

Okay yes it's Thursday evening here but it's still Wednesday somewhere, right?? I've had,,,, a shit day to say the least (life do not be making it easy rn) and haven't had the beans to work on the Buck/Eddie meeting section that I'd hoped to get done so here's a little bit of Lily's meltdown I wrote last night/ perfected with the help of @theotherbuckley this evening (god bless and thank you so much for your help)

Buck lifts Lily so she’s sitting on his knee, no longer hiding her face in his chest, and uses the pad of thumb to wipe her tears off her cheeks. She looks so small and vulnerable with her little socked feet dangling off the edge of his legs. He silently mourns the day he won’t be able to wrap her up in a bundle and protect her from the world. “Why do you think you’re stupid, baby?” Lily sniffs loudly and Buck grimaces at the horrible, rattly noises. “I can’t do my letters proper.” “What do you mean?” Buck asks, confused. He’s pretty sure Lily was taught how to write letters in preschool and not once did they mention it being a problem. Lily wipes her eyes and leans back into Buck’s chest. “We were learning how to write letters today and I can’t do them right. They keep going round the wrong way and they just don’t look right!” Buck thinks for a moment, trying to remember if Carrie had had similar issues with writing at Lily’s age but in all honesty, that girl had been scarily good at anything to do with the English language and if she was going to come home crying about any subject, it would be math – which Buck didn’t blame her for in the least. She’d inherited his dreadful math abilities, poor kid. All this to say, Buck has absolutely no idea how to go about navigating this with Lily. She’s always been a bit more emotional and sensitive to criticism than Carrie but other than the occasional tantrum because Buck asked her to pick up her toys, he’s never seen Lily this upset over something. Tears are falling steadily down her face now and Buck’s powerless to fix what’s wrong. All he can do at this point is give her his love and support, and he can spiral later. “Lily,” he says, tipping her chin up to look at him again, “today was your very first day at school. Your first day of proper learning. It’s all new, hmmm? Things are going to be difficult for a little bit, but they’ll get easier the more you learn.” “But I can’t do it! I could do math, but I can’t write!” “Hey, sometimes things are a little easier than others, like math is for you. And it’s very rare for people to be perfect at something they’ve never tried before. Do you think I was a perfect firefighter when I first started the academy?” “Yes.” Buck snorts. “I appreciate the vote of confidence, kiddo, but I was far from perfect. I made so many mistakes – I still do, actually. But I’m getting better the more I do it, just like you will with writing. And I’m always going to be so proud of you, no matter how good you are at school, alright? I don’t care if you get straight A’s or C’s, as long as you’re my daughter I’ll love you no matter what.” Lily sniffs long and loud and smacks her lips, which Buck thinks is gross, and holds up her pinkie finger. “Pinkie promise?” she asks, her voice trembling. Buck wraps his pinkie around hers and cups his other hand around their entwined fingers, hand completely enveloping hers. “Pinkie promise,” he repeats, and delicately kisses her knuckles. “Now, do you wanna try your snack again, and then we can watch a show with Carrie maybe?” “Okay,” Lily agrees, hopping off Buck’s lap to the ground and she holds out her hand for him. “I still hate grapes though.”

Dazai had an odd relationship to his family, which was to say there really wasn't one. Even you didn't know the extent of his life before he'd joined up with the port mafia years ago. For all you knew, the first 18 or so years of his life were just a vague mystery.

But you weren't like that.

You knew your family, your parents,your grandparents. Unlike him, you were connected to them. So when he found you so sad, brushing it off like there was nothing wrong, he knew there had to be something he could do.

Though you denied anything being amiss, Dazai was and always had been a persistent man. (At the very least, he got what he wanted no matter what.) You almost didn't want to tell him. It seemed so trivial, getting so worked up over a lost trinket. But you remembered when your grandfather had given it to you, and now you wondered if you'd ever get it back or id you'd live with the small pang that sang in your chest when you thought of it.

But he didn't make you feel ashamed when the truth came out. In fact, he nodded. He told you he understood; when you were like him, you spent your life feeling like you were never grounded. But you had a family that kept you harbored when life got rough. Even if he didn't have it himself, he knew what having a family meant.

And he promised that you had his help looking for your belonging until you had it back safe and sound.

Well Mr. Genius here didn't even need five seconds to tell what was going on. By the time you had filled him in on what you'd lost, he was brushing the tears from your eyes, fixing his jacket, and holding out his hand.

"Come on," he said cheerfully. "We're going to find it if it takes us all day!"

Now you weren't going to lie, the last thing you wanted to do was leave your apartment and go sleuthing around the city. Frankly, you wanted to curl up on the couch and disappear within a pile of blankets. But you sighed and took his hand, and after a few minutes of walking, you did start to feel better. It was a nice day; the sun was out, the air was fresh from the last night's rain, and you could almost ignore your sadness for a moment.

"Please tell me you know where you're going?"

He played at mock offense, pressing a hand to his chest and sighing dramatically. "You wound me! Doubting my abilities like this. Of course I know where I'm going."

This ended up not being true. You walked through winding streets, across busy roads, through back alleys and in circles for about two hours, your sides aching with laughter from Ranpo's jokes. daza

In the end, he'd had to use his deduction to find your way home. (Just as you'd predicted, he'd gotten you lost.) And you didn't find what you were looking for. But you fell asleep that night after he promised he'd go looking the next morning. And you knew you could trust him to find it.

My hcs for the demons of the qsmp rn is that each has one or more abilities (will depend on how the characters develop)

qTina can grow a thicker shell on her skin and does so especially as she gets angrier or scared or feels threatened. Her skin gets spikey and tough and she uses her arms as a shield and to punch. Can shapeshift (like any demon, it's like, some kind innate mockery ability to trick and deceive better, doesn't mean it's what it's used for, can literally just be used for changing hair color). In her demon form she's mainly white and lilac, but she disguises herself as a human. She's a smaller demon because she's a hybrid. She's very anxious but very passionate

QMouse is like, well she's Satan lol. My hc is that she can shapeshift from big to small. In her demon form she's HUGE. TALL ASS. MOTHERFUCKER. But she's always tiny small (even for human height) around the others on qsmp so that's why she's nicknamed Mouse <3. She can change the way she looks, hair eyes size anything. When she's small her balance and body do resent the change, especially after a long day of work or exploring, so she uses helping aids, like canes and wheelchairs.

qBad is like Charon / the Grim Reaper. He can shapeshift like any other demon, but the only thing he disguises is his height (he's TALL) otherwise he looks exactly as he should, dark skin and white eyes. He hides his body with robes and large clothes. He can spit acid, and when angered his form looks hazy, like he's made of smoke. His features and body get distorted and his voice echoes. He can shapeshift, mainly uses it to change his hair to blonde for Forever lol. He wears glasses 🫶

Rn he's changing to gray and blue and he's colorblind due to the grieving process of losing his kids. It's like a nether sickness (mc hell) that takes over weak minds (he hasn't been sleeping and he's very sad and angry).

Tiktok is officially dead and I have returned to my roots (I am a refugee, but at the same time I am returning to my home). There are so many thoughts and feelings that exist within me rn. I keep attempting to open Tiktok and it is in fact not working which is fully heartbreaking. I was however the last one at work that had a 'working' tiktok.

There isn't much I want to add to any of this discourse, but as a certified lurker I think its important to address content creators and how this affects them. I keep hearing how they need to get real jobs and all this other bull shit, but in the end creating content, creating art, is a very real job. Historically we had rich people who would pay artists to create for them and essentially sponser their ability to live. Now however, rich people are obsessed with AI and anything that allows them to exploit others. Tiktok essentially acted as that sponser, not just because it paid people, but because it exposed so many people to small buisnesses, new music, new experiences, and overall just new opportunities. Tiktok paid people, but it also gave them the ability to have exposure that they might not have gotten on other platforms.

So, yes content creating is a very real job. Content has to come from somewhere (or more like someone), books, tv shows, movies, even fucking AI. Until rich people start sponsering artists (or maybe just the cost of living being an actual obtainable amount) platforms like Tiktok are needed. And no don't say "do to instagram" "go to youtube": they are such different platforms that are not suited for creators that existed on Tiktok. As a lurker I want to do more and push past my owner comfort to recognize the important work that creators of all kinds do to provide me entertainment and make life more enjoyable. I think the first way I can do that is by saying that they are in fact a very important job that is in fact taking for granted.

Cole Cassidy and Mei hc , bc I love their friendship so much.

I’m not sure where this idea came from, but during his black watch days, Mei started to complain about how bad mowed lawns and those topiary bushes where for the environment, which spurred a conversation about Texan fluora and fauna, which turned into a whole discussion on non-native grasses and plants and how they where taking away resources from native plants and animals.

Sometimes, after their reunion, you can still hear them talking about various plants from their home.

They’re also where the ones who proposed a garden on base.

( I do know what sparked this actually, I live in the Texas suburbs and these Bermuda grass lawns fucking SUCK. They provide no food and no shelter to bugs and small animals and are shit for biodiversity. Also, they aren’t super adapted to the weather here. We’re in a drought rn and this shits r GUZZLING water.)

I honestly have a head cannon that Cassidy knows a lot about nature and flora and fauna, he's a nature type character so it makes sense. I also like the idea of Cassidy being very knowledgeable of random topics, one of those topics being the environment. So I could defiantly see him and Mei having a full on rant about the topics of Texan flora/fauna and non-native grasses and plants and how they impact the native environment and Eco-system.

In all honesty I like to think that scientific environment talk is the only academic language Cass can actually understand, ask him about the periodic table and he has no clue but talk to him about anything about the environment using scientific terminology and he understands perfectly.

But I also am going to add to this.

After Niran joins OW he hears them talking about this and he just joins in the conversation. To the point when they're all eating meals together those three are just talking non-stop.

The idea of Cassidy and Mei asking to make a garden on base is so cute!

Because they would and it would probably be very therapeutic for both of them!

Also in the QuestWatch event one of the things Mei could be doing as an explanation as to why she's late is recycling bottle's Cassidy was shooting;

Which is phrased like something Cassidy just does instead of something Mei insisted he do. Also the little implication that Mei just hangs out with Cassidy while he's shooting means so much to me, it also furthers my head cannon that Cassidy would teach Mei how to shoot or at least help her improve her aim.

These two's dynamic is so cute to cause even their voice lines are adorable;

They're sibling coded and I will die on this hill. I hope the next lot of Story Missions gives us the ability to play them together, I want to see how they interact!

A temporary defensive ward may be constructed in many ways. Here are some ideas according to my practice:

Kitchen protection

From the kitchen, look for any of these things: red pepper (including the pizza flakes from the takeout drawer), black pepper (whole or ground), garlic (powdered or whole clove), rosemary, basil.

Take any one of these ingredients. You may use more, but you must repeat the invocation for each of them; and this is of course more draining and time-consuming (plus, it is beneficial to work with one ingredient as a time as often as possible).

Modify this petition spell format for your chosen ingredient, each time requesting protection in your current space and for the duration of your move. Here are suggestions to modify the petition spell format:

Make the petition very short and small, so it can be easily folded up and carried with you.

Find a little baggie or container to carry around the kitchen ingredient and petition simultaneously (a plastic bag will be fine - but according to superstition, please leave a little corner unzipped so the spirits can come and go).

If you do not have access to candles during your move, focus on their purpose in the spell: to be a source of power. You can substitute your own power, or if you don't like to be drained, use a food offering instead, with a focus of feeding and nurturing both the spirit and the spell.

I remember how much I cherished her as a kid,she was like the first or one of the first creepypasta ocs I ever made.Now I was shit at storytelling but those ocs were basically my only thought process for three whole years.

I both cringe and think nostalgically back to these characters alot,and I've been reworking the things in her backstory that younger me came up with.

All that I can truly remember is a few things.

-She was killed and turned into a slender somehow

-she hated slenderman and had a group that was actively against him(I remember a few of the people that worked with her so I might redesign them too)

-She was really strong,physically strong.Idr if she had any powers back then,I don't think she did qwq.

-Her sister was a slender as well???

-Her whole thing was roses,she was flower themed.Why?Idk I just liked themes,still do.But back then it was like alot of alot of flowers.

-She had two daughters(one of wich I focused on the most and inspired later ocs)

I never had a reason for exactly how she had become a slender like being,and I'm still trying to figure it out.

But basically,plot convince demon :]

My own excuse for how she litterally became a slender like creature,was because a demon attached to her at a young age and was planning to trap their soul in their own body and taking over.

She said no and cheated death.

And then she chose a slender like form out of pure spite.She can change into a demon like form and has some shapeshifting abilities,she basically trapped the demon instead.

She was always more of a silent and vengeful character,her heart in the right place but not exactly the greatest at expressing it.She was an introvert who was very observant wich made it easier to hit were it hurts,but also using it for those she cares about.

So we know that digis don't die. Their data returns to whatever-the-hell & they turn back into eggs. In this au, that specifically means they return to primary village where they'll be looked after by elecmon (who put this 12 year old in charge of fathering the entire digital world 😭).

Something I've always wanted to expand on though was memory. From the small amount of seen reincarnations in the animes, they typically don't remember their past lives but tbh that makes me sad & what's the point of aus if not to make you happy yk. So here's the thing with this one

When digis are reborn, they obv hatch as fresh forms. From there it's in-training, then they get to be rookies. These are the only 3 stages that matter rn. Now it varies by individual, but typically the range of remembering the most to least goes by fresh > rookie > in-training.

Fresh forms are literal babies. The more traumatic the death of their past life, the fussier the fresh typically is. This is because they remember everything about their past lives & their tiny little baby minds can't handle it. Typical deaths by accident or battle make for normally fussy babs. The rare peaceful deaths make for peaceful babs. Makes sense right? Idk I'm having fun with this. These little dudes have too much emotion for their itty bitty little baby forms to deal with, but luckily that's really the only thing they have to deal with.

When the fresh is able to go up a level, in-trainings are now at complete peace lmao. They don't remember anything of their past lives. It's like a hard reset lmao. They're too busy looking at bright colors & wondering how to use limbs to worry about anything else.

When they go up another level, however, that's when things can get interesting again. Rookies have the ability to begin remembering again. This is when the Traumatic Death Scale™ comes back. Deaths that were peaceful to not-very-traumatic leave a low chance of remembering anything. From there, the more traumatic the death, the higher the chance of remembering things becomes. Very Traumatic Deaths goes down a little though, with an effective 50/50 chance of remembering Everything or Nothing At All. Often these monster middle schoolers will be reminded of familiar sights or events by things they see or do. Worse case scenario, they have to deal with phantom pains. This stays constant now with however many times they're able to evolve from there.

It depends, I guess? She wouldn't go and take the last bit of sth when she's not really hungry anymore or if she doesn't really care about it that much. She would however wage war over the accidental curly fry and her favourite cake pops. She might also get in the occasional playful struggle with Jake over the last slice of pizza, but it's never on principal and 100% circumstantial 😁

Charly is very bad about her eating habits - it didn't go well in college, got worse in med school to worst during her residency and it just never really improved from there on out (even though her dad is working on it to the best of his abilities^^').

She either skips breakfast altogether (breakfast, not her morning coffee) or takes something small on the go - piece of toast, protein bar, on the luckier days at least an apple - and then mostly spends the rest of the day... grazing? Just little bits and nibbles here and there.

But these days she tries to get at least one proper sit down meal in, either lunch or dinner.

Not one bit ^^ in college/med school money was always tight, so she didn't really get to indulge. The only "fancy clothes" she owns rn are relicts from when she felt like she needed to dress the part for a certain someone. Other than that she'll just wear all her favourite things until they fall apart and then try to find something as close as possible to the piece she just discarded 😄

But she's a book hoarder who doesn't keep a "to read" pile, but several piles that she organises by genre 😁

Not many...? Probably none at all at present? 😄 Charlie used to be confident in her intellect and in the fact that she deserves all that she'd worked for, but her ego and self confidence have taken quite a few hard hits in the recent past and that pretty much left her very not confident in anything. Which tbh probably isn't the worst thing considering who she's about to be dating. Can you imagine two of those getting it on? 💀🤣
