When you decided it was time for your parents and König to meet, you were tempted to slip a Xanax into his morning coffee. It is not like he hasn’t said a polite hello and a few words over the phone or when you facetime them, but now he was finally meeting them in person. You’ve seen him more calm talking to two- and three-star generals than this, the kinds of things that rattled your nerves.

You swore he changed attire more times than you did. The sight of him re-rolling his sleeves on his button up shirt made you intervene before he undid them all over again. He paused when your hands held his, then flicked his azure eyes up to you. “They’re gonna love you, my king.” Your gentle smile and comforting words got through to him.

They welcomed you and the mystery man with open arms at their front door. Mom never knew how to keep her thoughts to herself, but she really did mean well. Of course, the first thing they all notice is how König has to duck under their doorway to come inside. “You weren’t lying when you said he was tall,” mom said. You gave her a warning look followed up with an apologetic smile to König. He managed to chuckle it off, it was nothing new for him. It did make him curious about what else you’ve said to your mom about the two of you.

You gave König a tour of your childhood home, nearly having to pry him from the wall of photos of you and your family. He had the biggest shit-eating grin on his face of the little timeline displayed in pretty frames; your first elementary school photo, a photo of you in a boy/girl scouts uniform, another of you during extra-curricular activities (band/orchestra, JROTC, sports, theater, robotics team, etc.), a prom photo with you and old friends, and lastly your high school graduation picture. König wanted a copy of one of them to keep in his wallet, mom promised to get him one behind your back.

König's field day got better when you showed him your childhood bedroom. Depending on how you last had it decorated, you were either low key bashful or regretting even showing him. It was like traveling back in time for him, giving him a glimpse of the kid and teen, you used to be. A chance to fall in love with every facet of you.

He was getting more comfortable when he found out your dad wasn’t out to get him as much as he thought. They ended up sitting in the living room, talking about a topic after your dad played twenty questions to figure him out. Something either about guns, hunting, hiking, fishing, blue-collar work, and if your dad is a veteran, they got along faster than you could imagine. You and mom caught up in the kitchen as you helped her finish up with cooking and setting the table.

If you have siblings, they showed up in the nick of time before dinner, to share embarrassing stories of you when you were a kid, or the stories you all waited to tell when you all were adults to avoid from getting in trouble. König watched and listened as you got more animated with laughter. Loving every second of this. He had a handful of memories he could count on his hand that were of happier times, but your memories became his favorite ones.

Everyone pestered the two of you for the story of how you met. And since you’ve been doing most of the talking, you looked to König to tell the tale. Your eyes never left him as he started the story from his point of view, recollecting the moment he saw you and how he was trying to come up with an excuse to try and talk to you. It donned on you that this was the first time you were hearing the way he saw you. “And now we’re here,” he concluded, looking over to you with a grin and a touch to your hand underneath the table.

NSFW Bonus:

König couldn’t stop thinking about taking you in your childhood room, nearly fantasizing what it would’ve been like if the two of you met as teens/younger adults. Indulging in the idea of sneaking into your bedroom window or standing outside with a boombox in 80s/90s style fashion.

Of course, your parents offered you to stay with them, not wanting you to have to rent a hotel room or travel back (depending on how far away you lived from them), so the later the night got, the more distracted König became with fulfilling his dirty thoughts.

It was just like the old days, having you home and hearing the music coming from your speakers when someone passed by the doorway. You were just showing König your CD collection, right?

It definitely wasn’t because you were trying to muffle your moans and screams as he pounded you into that fucking mattress. Making you a drooling and brainless mess under his rutting hips. He kept praising you for taking him so well and for being so quiet like the good little fuck thing you were, making it harder not to cum so fast. Secretly, this was your fantasy too, and you wanted it to last a little longer than the 10 minutes of foreplay and fucking you had already endured.

Ahhhh I love Kaya I’m sorry if I drone on in random directions here!! Okay okay so the general vibe of how she got there is after Laugh Tale (and whatever happens there I dare not speculate I’m bad at guessing) the Straw Hats eventually make their way back to the East Blue and Usopp stays in Syrup village for a little longer than the rest of the crew and when they come back for him he’s like “uh so hi uh Kaya and I got married” and Luffy’s like “SHE WAS CREW BEFORE SHE’S CREW NOW GET ON THIS BOAT :^))” Then there’s a period of time when her and Usopp decide they want to have a kid (surprise it’s two kids) where they spend a few years in Syrup Village before they rejoin the Straw Hats which I know I mentioned okay but so w Sanji I think before the kids they’re very friendly, Sanji always knew about Kaya and Usopp would write to Kaya and talk abt all the crew but esp Sanji so there’s a bit of that “I feel like I already know you” vibe with them. She does already know the rest of the East Blue crew so she’d probably gravitate towards them at first and out of all of them besides Usopp I think she’d vibe the most with Luffy and Sanji. Her and Chopper are fast friends for obvious reasons, and they start to kind of divvy up doctor-ing duties. Kaya specialized in traumatic injury so she could help Usopp on his adventures and Chopper specializes in internal medicine so she becomes a huge help in the aftermath of battles. First round of treatment from Dr. Kaya and ongoing treatment with Dr. Chopper :^) Add Law into the mix when the Hearts are around and they have a little Doctor Club where the three of them are always exchanging knowledge and books and things they’ve found around the world that are helpful. The three of them are really comfortable friends and like to study in the same room together without talking for like hours. In a similar vein I think her and Robin get along really well and will read quietly together. The way that Robin just says creepy shit Kaya has a way of doing that too, but with such a friendly face and tone it’ll take people a long time to even begin to clock why what she said is fucked up (makes giving Bad Doctor News very easy, she’s a kind of calming that after the fact makes you go ??? How did that work). She spends a fair amount of time with Franky because she likes to hang out in the workshop while Usopp tinkers, and it turns into her learning a thing or two from Franky as well. Brook tried to teach her piano because it seemed like something she’d like but she was low key terrible at it and the lessons went on much longer than they should have because they were both too polite to suggest they stop.

After her and Usopp rejoin the Straw Hats Sanji is immediately obsessed with their kids. Sanji has such “I will parent the shit out of any child” energy okay this guy was born to dad. Ofc it makes Usopp’s heart full to see his kids with his boyf, and Usopp is a very involved dad (he would never be like his own dad), but it just situationally ends up giving Kaya & Sanji more one on one time than they’d had before (switching off parenting duties, Kaya’s not really a fighter so she tends to stay back on the ship if there’s conflict, Sanji esp at first volunteers to stay back with her and the kids to keep watch). All of that plus the fact that Sanji’s always been framed to her as this guy the person she loves loves, it’s only a hop skip and a jump away until “oops I have a crush on my husband’s boyfriend.” Esp cause I don’t think Usopp would be shy about being affectionate with either of them, so all three of them plus the two kids just end up in a pile super often.

𓍢ִ໋🌷͙֒ Keisuke Baji

It was a beautiful afternoon and with really nice weather so you and Baji decided to take a walk in the park closest to your home, you were holding hands when suddenly he stopped when he saw some little kittens in a box . who was under the shade of a tree

“Look y/n, I think they abandoned them!” He blurted out with low concern

You weren't really paying attention and not because you didn't care about them, just like Baji loves animals, but this time you were deep in your own thoughts: you knew you were pregnant and you were eager to tell Baji, but you wanted to tell him in one word. creatively, you wanted him to be totally surprised and that was the problem, you weren't creative at all.

Suddenly the sound of a ferocious cat's meow brought you out of your thoughts. The one who seemed to be the father of the kittens came out from the branches when he saw Baji approaching them.

“Wow, calm down little friend! “I just wanted to help you and your little babies.” Baji said sweetly while petting them.

Sometimes I didn't understand how the man who hit other kids for being sleepy could be so sweet. You smiled when you saw that scene where Baji was really moved to see how that cat took care of its babies.

“Is Kei okay? Has he scratched you?” Asked.

“No baby, he didn't. Look how cute he is!” He smiles, “and if I had, it would be fine, I think a father would do anything for his child and that means protecting them from strangers like me.” When he said that he became a little thoughtful. “I wish I could do that one day.”

His words took you by surprise. “Well, how convenient Keisuke, because our family is about to grow. “You blurted out with a proud tone and being a little mysterious.

"Hey? What do you mean precious? Are you telling me I can take one of them home? He responded innocently.

“No keisuke, I mean soon you will be able to take care of someone else” you took his hand and placed it on your belly.

"CHICK! Que?! WE WILL BE DADS!”He shouted and you nodded with tears in your eyes, he delicately took your face in his hands and gave you a tender smile "Thank you, beautiful" he said to kiss you intensely and then gave you a big smile again but this time accompanied by some tears “I PROMISE YOU I WILL BE THE BEST DAD!”

𓍢ִ໋🌷͙֒ Shinichiro Sano

Since you and Shinichiro were dating, you always used to talk about how excited you would be to be able to start a family together; They talked about the names they would give them and the number of children they each wanted to have, although Shinichiro wanted a whole crowd, he was aware of and respected the number you wanted. They talked for a long time about the topic and today, finally, that day had arrived.

You guided a blindfolded shinichiro towards the entrance to his workshop. “Walk a little more to the left shin” you asked him.

“Ouch! What was that? “You led me towards a tree?!” He responded by complaining.

“Sorry, I was making sure you weren't really looking,” you laughed, “but now we're in the right place, are you ready?” You told him as you slowly began to remove the blindfold.

“Honey, why did you bring me to the workshop?” He told you as he turned to you to see something disconnected.

“Wait until you see what I have prepared shin.”

You opened the automatic curtain of the workshop, gradually revealing his beloved motorcycle, except that this time it was adorned with two helmets on the seat; one was the well-known shinichiro helmet but... what about the other? It was much smaller than his and looked a little childish.

It took a couple of seconds for his brain to put all the pieces together and understand the meaning of what he was seeing. As he did so he opened his eyes in surprise and froze for a moment “IS THAT WHAT I THINK I AM WEIGHING?!” He said shouting with excitement, showing a big smile on his face.

"YEAH! YOU WILL BE DAD!" You counted with the same emotion.

“I WILL FINALLY BE A DAD! Well, WE WILL BE PARENTS!” He said as he carried you around and kissed your cheeks at the same time. “Thank you y/n! You make me so happy."

𓍢ִ໋🌷͙֒ Takashi Mitsuya

It was an ordinary morning. The sound of his loud alarm was present in the room. Takashi began to move between the sheets. He refused to open his eyes, but the noise of said alarm irritated him. He half-opened his eyes and the rays of the sun that leaked through the curtain reminded him that he should get up to go. to work; he stretched out his arm to turn off the annoying alarm and be able to sleep for a few more minutes, or at least that's what he planned until he heard a strange sound coming out of the bathroom. If apparently it was you vomited

He hurriedly got out of bed and hurried into the bathroom. “My love, what's wrong? “Is she sick?” He said as he looked worried, he leaned close to you and helped you clean yourself.

“Maybe we went a little overboard with dinner last night, we ate a little more than usual! Does your stomach hurt? ”He questioned helping you stand up.

“I don't think it's dinner…” you blurted out hesitantly.

"No? “So what do you think it was?” He asked even more worried, your health has always been very important to him.

“Taka… it's not the first time he's vomited these last few days and well, actually… all week I've had terrible nausea.” You responded shyly and a little blushing.

Mitsuya's eyes widened. “Do you think you...?” He asked to which you nodded your head with a knowing smile. You barely finished speaking when he ran out, still in his pajamas, to buy a pregnancy test at the pharmacy.

“Is Y/n pregnant?” He thought, his eyes shining as he questioned such a probability “I could have a cute little baby with my y/n” He smiled instantly as he mentalized the image of you with his child in your arms. She took the various pregnancy tests that were on the store shelf and hurried back home.

When he arrived he went up the stairs with the evidence in his hand. “I'm here! I brought 3 different tests! The best and most effective according to the lady at the pharmacy” you smiled when you perceived his excitement, you took them and entered the bathroom.

Minutes later they were both sitting on the floor of the room, with their hands intertwined waiting for the result, he had set a timer for the three tests, they would wait until everyone was ready to see the results; When the first one sounded they both turned to see each other.

“Well, that's the first one, let's see it and then check the others? I honestly can't wait to know my love,” he said impatiently.

“OK! Ready Taka? Let's count up to 3” you proposed and preceded to count.

“A-”he interrupted you.

“TWO THREE!” she said quickly, “YAAA!” He shouted with excitement.

Mitsuya took the test and was perplexed when he saw it “Taka? Hey, don't tell me that n-”

“POSITIVE! WE WILL BE DADS!” He said, pounced on you, filling your face with loving kisses.

“WE WILL BE TAKASHI DADS!!” You repeated excitedly, she got up from the floor and carried you in her arms bridal style, she began to kiss you again, giving it light and careful turns in the air.

“NOW WE WILL BE THREE MY LOVE!” She laid you down on the bed and kissed you on the lips again, this time in a more intense way, she slowly went down your neck, finally leaving your abdomen. “You make me the happiest man in the world y/n,” she said, leaving one last loud kiss on your stomach. “Correction, you make me the happiest man in the world.”

So, I do not believe the Comic Goldenheart boys would have children. First of all, I don't personally headcanon either of them to be able to give birth to or carry children, and second, within the canon of the Comicverse, them reproducing would be a horrendous fucking idea.

However, I am not immune to the desire to create fankids. So. Allow me to introduce my their imaginary son from an AU where them having a baby wouldn't be the World's Worst Decision, Gregor Blackheart.

The colors came out kinda ugly(er) than they looked in Krita and please ignore the skin swatches I just fucking forgot to erase lmao. But yeah, this is a quick sketch of him 💕 headcanons below the cut if anyone is interested

He was named "Gregor" because when Nimona transformed into a little boy and called herself by the same name, it was the first time Ballister ever considered one day being a father, so they named their little guy for that moment

Nimona entered his/the Blackheart's lives when he was about three years old. Ambrosius was very nervous of her at first, especially with his most precious baby, but he quickly saw how good she was with him and that they loved playing together (and she could protect and keep up with him easily)

Ambrosius regards him as literally the most perfect thing to have ever come from him and the only good thing he ever played a part in, and was definitely at least a bit overbearing as a dad

When he was a baby/firstborn he was bald (specifically had that Old Man hairstyle that babies have where they only have fuzz on the sides of their head) and Ambrosius would always be like "Aww he looks just like his papa (Ballister)" and before Ballister could be like "that's sweet" he'd go "he got a big ol' bald head. Forehead for days." This would ruin it but it was also cute

He struggles with regulating his emotions like his dad and is highly intelligent and analytical like his papa. This caused mental health issues especially in his pre/teen years but his parents had thankfully done enough healing that they could support him and so he had a better outcome than they did

Both Ballister and Ambrosius went from "we read all the books and attended all the classes so we know EXACTLY what we're doing" to being too scared to hold him immediately once he was born

As a little kid/baby, Ballister was better at calming him down when he cried/got sad, scared, or hurt, while Ambrosius was better when he got angry, tantrums, or an attitude (Him crying would subconsciously trigger and upset Ambrosius, who would be easily overwhelmed, and him acting bratty/like a normal toddler frustrated Ballister who generally just would want to leave the situation)

He sees Nimona as an aunt and liked to play with her the most as a kid. This made Ambrosius extremely fucking jealous, but he got over it when he realized he was Gregor's favorite person to cuddle. Ballister is low-key jealous of both of them, but he is the main one that Gregor info-dumps to about all his special interests so he knows that he loves each of them in his own way

He was 1000 percent an accident. They knew they had no business reproducing given how fucked up their relationship was. I imagine he would come not terribly long after they got back together, too. Keeping him would have been a very hard choice but ultimately neither of them could bear the idea of losing the only biological family they'd ever have.

HI! please never be sorry for being nosy omg i love it when people ask me questions about headcannons!!

There are many reasons why I don't like Pandora being a Rosier but the main one is that there isn't much wiggle room with it

When I first joined this fandom my hc for Pandora was that her maiden name was Jenkins because in the first fic i read that was her name (and she had a younger sister who will always remain one of my favourite characters ever) At that time not many people cared about Pandora, this was before people started headcannoning her to be friends with Regulus and the Slytherin Skittles were a thing

When the discussion of Pandoras maiden name began I couldn't really get on board with what people were suggesting, mostly because a lot of the names were names that belonged to characters we already knew, like Rosier, Lestrange, Malfoy, Ollivander i even saw a few Pandora Lupin headcanons. I didn't like having her be related to a character we already knew I kinda just wanted to see her as her own person without any resemblance to other characters (I thought the same about Alice too for a while)

I've since changed my mind on that and my main headcannon for Pandora is that she's an Ollivander. I think it suites her well and that having someone who experiments with spells be the daughter/granddaughter of a wandmaker makes sense and gives potential for Pandora to have an interesting backstory

But the death eater families I can just never get behind. It automatically gives her a storyline which is already canonically other characters. The whole growing up in a purist family and then leaving is kinda the Blacks thing and part of me also likes the idea that the Blacks are just pure chaos and can't keep their kids in line when everyone else is acting perfect

It is also very much because I don't like the idea of Pandora being the sister of Lucius or Rodophus and Rabastan and Evan

The Pandora and Evan being siblings hc I especially dislike, partly because I just don't like what it does to both of their characters. Evan in my mind will always be a complete dickhead who was always a purist and always a wanker and I cant see that when Pandora is standing by him as his sister. I see them as friends but in my hcs Pandora isn't just friends with the Slytherins but also with Edgar, Amelia, Benjy, Caradoc, Fabian and Gideon from her own year and because of that she's able to easily cut Barty, Evan and Regulus off the moment they start showing signs of acting on their prejudice, unlike Dorcas who didn't have any other friends and was really holding and hoping to the idea that they would change their minds

On top of that I can't see anything that we get from the Rosier twins that we don't get from any other siblings in the era. Like we already have the Black brother, Black sisters, Bones twins, Prewett siblings, Carrow twins, Lestrange brothers and Evans sisters who all have elements that have been ignored and given to the Rosiers. From ending up on different sides of the war, to being separated by magic, to one of them dying during the war and leaving the other, to even being low-key incest. There's nothing new that they bring to the table.

(and that's only from the cannon siblings. We still have so many characters that we know had siblings like Marlene or characters with the same last name who could be siblings like Hestia and Gwenog Jones and Olivia and Toby Gleves)

And I hateeeee what this does to Pandoras character it reminds me of how Marlenes character was created. Instead of Pandora being someone based on what we know about her in cannon (which isn't much but still) she's been crafted to best suite the men that we've put around her (Evan, Barty and Regulus) Like we don't even talk about her and Xeno anymore who she literally marrys and has a kid with

Also I cannot see Pandora as being younger then The Marauders. In my hcs Pandora is a year above the Marauders while Evan and Dorcas are in the same year as them and Barty and Regulus are in the year below, I simply cannot see it any other way

Yeah there aren't many headcanons that would stop me from reading a fic but this is definitely one of them. There is nobody I hate more then Pandora Rosier

● Sam is purely smitten by Reader and their little baby. Just absolutely in love with her little family, wants to hold them all the time.

● She's always close by, smiling down at their little one, keeping an extra pacifier or blanket on her. She's not kidding around, she is going to have an extra, mini diaper bag with her just in case they're missing something in their main bag. She's overly prepared but it's sweet.

● her parents are so supportive. They were tentative at first because teenager parenthood isn't easy, but they're so in love with Reader and the baby. Oh God, Daniel adores his grandchild. If he's holding that child, he'll be hard pressed to let them go and time soon. He's kind of obsessed with them; he cried when they were born. Sam's so embarrassed by him 😅 he's unashamed.

● family naps where Baby LaRusso is asleep between their moms. When baby sleeps, so do they. Sam is kind of sleeping with one eye open just in case their little one wakes up and gets fussy. Also loves snuggle piles.

● the most protective mama ever. If anyone even looks at her girlfriend the wrong way, she's getting mean. Sam does not play when people at their school want to be dumb. She may be short, but we all know she has the power and when it comes to her family, the offender better get ready to have their shit rocked because she's not going to hold back.

● Speaking of school, she's trying so hard to keep up 😞 poor thing is more focused on her baby mama and baby to worry about school work. She'll help Reader with school stuff before doing her own work. She's reading to their baby or watching over them while Reader does work. It's a mess and she says she's fine, but she's not, especially in the early months with a newborn. Her parents eventually step in to help get her back on track, but it takes some time for her to admit she needs the help.

● The first few months are hard. It's a lot of screaming and crying and late nights. Sam and Reader knew it was going to be hard, but it's so much more than they had mentally prepared themselves for. Reader has moved in with the LaRusso's so Baby LaRusso can have both their moms close, and in hopes it will help them acclimate to this new way of life. It does, it just takes time.

● Days were they have to take Baby LaRusso to school with them because they couldn't get a babysitter, their friends are right there with them. Just like Sam will not tolerate people being shitty to them about being teen moms, their friends don't accept that either. Especially Miguel and Yasmine (I firmly believe she can low key destroy a person emotionally and will not hesitate). No one is going to say anything sideways about Sam and Reader, and if anyone actually has the balls for it, they're in for a ride.

● Sam will still take Reader on dates, they just bring their little one with them. They won't be super long dates, though; it'll be trips to the ice cream shop or a walk through the park, maybe they'll sit and have a little picnic. Most of the time, it devolves into playing with Baby LaRusso or showing them something new. Art museum? Yep and they show their baby all the wonderful art. Aquarium date? Baby is strapped to Sam's chest the whole time and she's holding Reader's hand lovingly. There are time where Daniel and Amanda will take their grandbaby for the evening, but for the most part Sam loves having them be apart of their dates. Sometimes it's just better that way.

● Sam is apart of the Tiny Gi Club. It's a club of karate kids that will absolutely buy a tiny karate gi for their babies to wear. Hawk is also apart of this club. Sam has so many pictures of Baby LaRusso in a tiny gi. She swears that she's not like her dad and that she won't teach the baby karate unless they want to learn it, but Sam is so much like her dad just for doing this. It's funny because she doesn't see it and always denies it.

More headcanons I made up for the crossover au where Vance Hopper moves to Hawkins because I’m having aniety attacks and writing out stuff aout my comfort characters calms me.

This is more about, I guess the dynamics in the Hopper family.

If this took place during season 1, I don’t imagine Vance really having that big a part in it other than being a part of Hopper’s past and storyline as he tries connecting again with his estranged son and remembering how he wasn’t there for him before while searching for Will.

This is both because he doesn’t have much connections to the Party yet and because I think Hopper would do his absolute best to keep Vance out of it, especially near the end when he starts to realize this is bigger than he thought involving the upside down and the government.

He knows Vance is still just recovering from a very traumatic event and doesn’t want to put him through anything else, he doesn’t want to risk losing him again, and he most certainly does not want the government’s eyes on him, too.

Whether or not this actually worked and Vance actually stayed out of it has yet to be decided in my brain.

Although I do like to think, to some degree, that if he did have a part, it would be mostly with the Byers with intersections in with Hopper since that is his dad in this au and he’s going to come home or get picked up by him.

It was not a good time and even a bit of a setback in Vance’s and Jim’s relationship when he came home to the aftermath of that scene where Hopper had been drinking again and even tore apart some of the house, the drinking part he found out from his mom who called back frantic after Vance plugged back in the phone.

Jim and Diane talk more in this au, but she makes it clear it's mostly just business and for Vance, calls only to ask about their son and how he's adjusting or doing since she knows Vance will just tell her what he thinks she wants to hear. If Jim starts talking about their own relationship and she thinks it might go down the road it usually does, she makes an excuse and hangs up.

Vance searched through the house after that and afterwards would randomly do searches for, and throw out any if he found it, any alcohol in the place. Jim drinking stresses his mom out, low-key stresses Vance out, which comes out in more anger, and is a place he is determined not to go back to since he still remembers when Jim would call drunk trying to get back with his mom.

Overall, Vance and Hopper's relationship became more strained for a while after that incident, although they're both trying their best to make it work since it does comes from a place of love. It's just that neither of them know how to express that properly.

It also very much takes a bit of a nosedive when El comes into the picture.

Depending on how much Vance knows about the events in season 1, he did think it was weird in the winter how Jim would leave in the early mornings with a box before coming back like nothing happened.

If he stayed out of the majority of the chaos, when Hopper came back one day with a strange girl, Jim lied through his teeth that she was the kid of an old friend who would be staying with them for a bit.

If Vance knew enough to know who El was, he'd be surprised at the very least to see she's still alive.

Either way, I can't see Vance's relationship with El, at first at least, being anything but complicated.

I mean, you're putting two stubborn, traumatized kids with anger issues that come out in ways you don't really want to be on the other end of (and El had anger issues as well, as a response to her trauma in the show) in the same small cabin who have no real ties to each other but their caretaker who's basically demanding they coexist and get along.

Vance also might probably feel like Hopper's trying to replace Sarah as time goes on with how he treats her. Especially since in his mind, his dad could apparently pull himself together for a girl he barely knew, but it took three years and Vance nearly dying to get Hopper to try.

Depending, once again, on just how much Vance would know post season 1, add in all this to being constantly left in the dark and lied to with vague, sketchy explanations he knows means something is up but can't prove it.

Overall I think he'd kinda resent her for the above reasons, but at the same time, he definitely sees the similar signs she was also hurt, her limited vocab, hair, and wonder at the simplest things set off a few alarms, and he kinda feels bad she has to stay in all day and knows how easy it is to go crazy with just your thoughts.

So it's like he won't openly antagonize her, but he's pretty cold at first and closed off, ignores her when he can, is more passive aggressive towards her when he can't, but he still somewhat cares about her being okay.

While Vance can't tell anyone about El apparently, he still complains about her to his friends in Denver over the phone, just keeping out the main details.

El also has accidentally crossed his boundaries once or twice since she doesn't know any better and she really does want a friend.

They've absolutely had the "get out of my room" argument.

El isn't too happy a camper either with the situation, Vance overall isn't the easiest person to live with and sometimes the arguments he has with Jim can scare her since they can get pretty loud even though that's just how they are.

She very much still does want to be friends with Vance, but sometimes her efforts can actually make things worse than better, and Jim will insist to give him space and let him come to her like he waited for her.

El can get jealous, too, that Vance is free to go whenever he wants but she can't, and it's been a topic of one of her own arguments with Hopper why she can't go or talk to her friends, but Vance can.

Vance is actually on her side for those since he thinks it's pretty unfair, too, if her going out alone is a problem, he could literally just go with her, she's not going to spontaneously combust the minute she steps into town.

The moments where Vance and El team up against Hopper are his nightmare, like, yes, he wants them to get along, but not when he's the common enemy.

They start to warm up to each other over time, but their relationship at first is pretty complicated, and by s2, they'd be a little better after almost a year, but there's still more downs than ups until they realize how much they have in common

Small off track note, Vance is that older sibling that'd probably lay down on you after winning a fight.

I'm glad you like them so much because I have a whole extended universe in between seasons 1 and 2 that exists for no one other than me. This time, it's the s2 spouses edition!Of the spouses, Rebecca has known the kiddads the longest. She was at their middle school, and befriended them a year or two after Faerûne. I think that she came from a very conservative family, and the kiddads are all pretty squarely not that, and since girlie hadn't developed her critical thinking skills yet she just decided that centrism was a good way to negate her confusion and internal conflict. I also think she was a cheerleader! Normal really does take after her. She knows that Nicky is a demon, having seen and pieced together a few things, but no one knows this because she told Terry Jr that she knew and he asked her not to tell Nicky, because this was in the middle of Morgan and Jodie's divorce and he was super stressed out, and then they both just forgot that she knew that and that that would be a suprise to everyone else. She's also well aware that something Weird™ is going on with these four families (there is no reason why the great axe in the Wilson family hallway has permanent changing "fake" blood splatters, or why any injuries the kiddads have seen to vanish after they visit the Oak-Garcias) and has ultimately decided that she's just not going to question it. She has a vegan ice cream company to run, and if her friends happen to have very specific arcane knowledge, well they must just be hyperfixated on a niche fantasy IP. Or maybe wizards. One of the two, maybe both. It can always be both.Cassandra and Marco both met the kiddads at college. I've already mentioned how Cassandra and Terry Jr met (theatre classes), and then Terry Jr slowly integrated her into the group. Marco and Grant shared a subject in first year (in my head it's psychology for some reason) and Grant fell FAST. Marco actually met the rest of the group because they would not stop teasing Grant about his crush, and thus took every opportunity to show up and be weird in front of him to embarrass Grant (and subtly sus out if he can handle being around them). Once, at a New Years party, Marco got absolutely wasted and kissed Terry Jr, thinking he was Grant, at midnight and then promptly passed out on the stairs. Terry and Lark (the designated driver) were the only ones sober enough to remember this, but Lark filmed it on his phone and they played it and Grant and Marco's wedding reception. The best part is that Grant and Marco weren't even together yet, and it took them another 5 months to start dating.Cassandra has sent someone to the emergency room with a pool cue before. No one knows how. A group of physics and med students sat down to try and work out what exactly she did, and gave up after a few months. The kid was fine, but Cassandra payed his hospital bills anyway. Being the campus cryptid for a while is still her proudest moment.Veronica meet Terry Jr at the dance classes he helps teach. Scary, then Terry/Terri, had a long soccer practice on Saturdays so she decided to go out and meet some new people. They got chatting, found they had a lot in common, started sending memes to each other, and things just grew from there. Terry's boss would pair them up for demonstrations suspiciously often, which might have helped.When the other spouses meet her, they are going to adopt her into their friendship group immediately. When you're married to people as bizarre as the kiddads are, you form your own little support group of comparatively normal people, to remind yourself that you aren't crazy but also you are.

favorite thing about them: LITERALLY WHERE DO I EVEN START. She's one of my top ten protagonists of all times. I love the lessons she learns, the way she learns them, I love watching her grow and struggle and thrive. I love her so so so much. To keep things simple(ish) I will say that my favorite thing about Luz (which I've mentioned once or twonce before) is that she's an objectively cringey, very ND coded kid who's still given the utmost love and respect from the narrative. She gets to be objectively fucking uncool and this story still loves her. And it's nice it makes me feel loved by proxy

least favorite thing about them: I mean, I'd say in season 1 it's the tendency to flatten the boiling isles and it's people into 2 dimensional tropes for easily comprehension, but that's also one of my favorite flaws of Luz and the narrative always makes an interesting point out of this attitude. Maybe it's the suicidal ideation bc it really scared me the first time I watched thanks to them. I knew nothing bad was gonna happen (within reason), this is Disney, but I was like DAMN THEY'RE GOING THERE!!!

favorite line: okay I actually cannot in good conscious choose one bc my friend once informed me that me and Luz just. Talk the same. Same silly idioms and phrases same whimsical expressions and syntax same humour, etc etc. It's a chicken egg situation and do not know who started it but I know that it's frighteningly accurate. So I'll just go for the safe classic "the only thing I've ever really wanted was to be understood" bc. Y'know. Best moment in the whole show and everything

She picks it back up though during the season 3 timeskip and post canon! Also she was born in New York and lived there til she was 2/3, at which point she moved around a few states until landing in Connecticut at the age we see in the thanks to them video diaries (I wanna say 7 or 8?)

unpopular opinion: I also think Luz gets characterized as more bitter/vengeful/surly than she really is, especially in fics set around season 3. She wants to be happy, to have fun with her friends, she just feels like doesn't deserve it. Also I low-key think Luz is like. A genius. Just in an unconventional way. She rediscovered a lost form of magic and then taught herself it all on her own. She probably struggles with long division but I mean it when I say she is literally a genius imo

Headcanon time!

When Fry and Leela are officially engaged (y'know, without time being frozen in the process) Bender gives a rather dramatic monologue about how he can't believe Leela didn't ask his blessing. Fry's protests that he proposed go unheard. Bender demands (somewhat jokingly but mostly seriously) that Leela asks for his blessing

No, Bender does not tear up when Leela goes along with it and asks, shut up

No one's sure who cried more at the wedding: Leela's parents, or Zoidberg

They get a dog, damn it! 👏👏

They have two kids: a girl and a boy

Fry remembers how much Yancy hated his name, so while he doesn't name his son Yancy, he returns the favour and uses it as a middle name

Their daughter's middle name is Munda, after Leela's mom

The entire Planet Express crew absolutely adores these kids. Everyone has babysat and they all have very different ways of handling the kids

One time, Leela and Fry came to collect the kids to find them doing paperwork with Hermes. They actually seemed to be enjoying it

Fry tries to imagine his parents babysitting his kids and shudders in horror. He misses them and wishes every day that his parents could have met them, but letting his parents look after them could only have resulted in utter chaos

One time, someone hits on Fry in front of Leela, despite the obvious wedding rings. Everyone expects Leela to lose it and start a fight. Her usual "I'm gonna kick her ass" attitude. Instead, she surprises them all: she grabs Fry and straight up dips him in a kiss instead

Fry has also surprised everyone (and horrified Hermes) by starting a fight when some drunken idiot wouldn't shut up about how "weird" Leela's eye is

Leela: "I wasn't that drunk last night." Amy: "You hit on Fry." Leela: "So? That's not weird, he's my husband." Amy: "You asked if he was single." Leela: "..." Amy: "You kicked over a table when he said he wasn't."

It takes Brannigan a solid year to realise Leela and Fry are married. Kif has tried to tell him, but Zapp never listened and just never noticed the rings. He nearly crashes his ship when he finally notices

What follows is a long, dramatic sob-fest about how he can't believe he wasn't invited to the wedding

Overall, Fry and Leela are just an adorable couple. They're not all over each other in public, but they're always seen holding hands or sitting together. The amount of inside jokes they have is ridiculous. They always smile when they see each other

They are going to live a long and happy life together, so help me god

Venom headcanons (warning He/They pronouns for Venom)

-Anne and Dan invite Eddie and Venom to all their vacations

- when Venom and Eddie have a fight, Venom bonds with Anne and Dan spends time with Eddie.

- If Eddie gets a bad sickness, like a cold, Venom panics and calls Dan and Anne.... He wants his boyfriend to be healthy

- Dan and Eddie are actually best buds... It makes venom jealous because who said that Dan can be so close to his boyfriend best friend.

- Venom rants to Anne about how much he loves Eddie, and Anne keeps a Journal called "Is that Alien Okay?" The answer is no.... How could he when Eddie's lips look like ✨that✨

- Eddie had a crush on Dan at once, and it makes Venom mad.... It was mentioned to Anne and she just laughed, remembering the time Dan picked up Eddie. (Ya know the part that was ripped away from us)

- The kiss is always brought up and Eddie is always the first to make an excuse about how it was totally Anne. And Anne says that she wasn't in control and it was all Venom.... Eddie get flustered making venom tease him on the way home.

- Dan absolutely loves Sonny and Cher.

- Anne has beef with Cher and the boys can't stop laughing. She refuses to go near her.

- Eddie secretly loved when Venom sang because of the happiness in his voice.

- Cletus knew about the Symbrock relationship and low key shipped it. That's why he kept mentioning that Eddie had secrets

- Eddie still can't go near Waterbar because of the tank incident.

- when Venom and Eddie fight, Venom says he's taking the kids, (referring to the chickens) but Eddie doesn't realize it and gets flustered because, what kids? What fucking kids. When did we- how did we?

- Eddie gets Lethal Protector tattooed somewhere on him and it made venom both Happy and angry. They didn't like the sound and the fact that Eddie was in pain.

- When hanging out with Dan and Anne, the two get in fights, and to stop it..... Dan most definitely plays "Careless Whisper" and Anne thinks it hilarious..... Venom ends of singing with it.

- Dan always tells his heroic tale of how he helped in fighting a crazy red alien. Eddie always listens cause he's just showing support. Anne is like, babe again? Really? Venom still Thinks that they didn't need his help.

- Eddie told Anne about the whole "wind in my hair" thing and she bought venom a wig. Venom instantly took over to try it on, and now Eddie has to beg him to leave it home.

- Venom taught Sonny and Cher to sing "I Got You Babe" in chicken, and had everyone to come over to listen to it. He's so proud of them.

- Eddie hates the Rave, but goes for Venom. But he had to admit, the place brought back memories of college. Times with his mates, when he didn't care about image or whatever. And when he'd explored his sexuality with that one dude. Good memories.... Venom no longer takes Eddie.

- Dan once bonded with Venom and taught him slang, and now Venom no longer can spend too much time with Dan. Eddie was cancelled for ruining the Vibe.

- Venom draws on Eddie's face while he sleeps and Eddie wonders why there's dicks on his face.... And why there's the word puss- Venom really? You're so immature

- Dan, Anne, and Venom, are all in a club called "The Eddie Protectors" and Eddie Believes he doesn't need their protection.... But he does.

- Dan took them to couples counseling.... (This should get its own scene in the movie... Can you imagine)

- Venom cries at the movie old yeller, and Eddie won't let him live it down.

- Eddie is forced into a real date by Anne, (before she figures out Venom is alive) and Venom hated every minute of it.

- Venom intentionally trys to scare, and put Eddie in danger just to save him.

- Dan video taped the apology, and now Everytime It's venom's and Eddie Symbiosis anniversary, he plays it.

- Venom keeps Eddie up all night with stupid shower thoughts.... Some are steamy. Most are stupid things that keep Eddie up thinking about life.

- The beach scene was their honeymoon.

- Eddie makes lots of mistakes, and each time Venom swears they won't help him ever again cause he doesn't listen.... But each time they do help because, who else will take care of the garbage human? Himself? No.

- Venom loves looney tunes, and Eddie just lets him watch it while he sleeps.

- their neighbors know about venom, and are chil with it, as long as Venom promises not to kill Eddie past 12 am, and keep the chickens in check. Their secret is safe.

- Venom punches the faces out of posters cause he can. Eddie tries to stop him, but he's tired.
