Your love is a closed book.

Sometimes I feel like I love you more than you love me. And that's okay I guess. It just sucks to try to read between the lines in our relationship. I feel like your a pack of eggshells and I'm trying to dance on them without making a dent.

Maybe the point is to make a dent, every time we fight and talk it out I feel like I know you better after but the fight.. it makes me not wanna try. It makes me hate making dents. But maybe it's okay to make a dent.

Your not traumatized like me. You don't have 7+ years of therapy to back up your mental problems, hell I dont even know if you have any. I feel like you probably do.. I also feel like you think your too manly or matcho to admit to any of them, and I hate that. I want you to feel comfortable opening up to me, but I think youre prone to shutting down when your uncomfortable.. and in a way I can understand that because you've never had someone to treat you right. But *I* wanna treat you right.

All this sucks because I'm an open book and your pages are stuck together with contact cement. Ill try to peel them apart carefully as I can but I'm sorry if I rip a page or two. Right now I feel like I've lifted about 1/4 of the corners. But I'm not one to stop something I've barely started.

Who knows, I might like this book. Maybe in time, when I've warmed it and carefully peeled off the stuck on glue, I could try to repair the pages i tore, being either lazy or impatient.

And if I repair the pages and open the cover back up, maybe I'll be able to read the story in time.

And maybe it will be one of love.
