Okay, so I have to confess, I haven't actually read the comics, but recently I've gotten really into the DC fandom, and I have a kind of weird request.

I've always had an interest in teen heroes, particularly the psychological and physical impact that comes from doing something so dangerous at such a young age, and often for years. I've been doing some research into the teens, particularly Conner, Cassie, Tim, and Bart, and when I found out that both Conner and Bart died, it made me wonder: how many heroes died as teens? How many came back?

So, for the request. Actually, technically it's two requets.

The first: could DC fans, of any kind (comics, shows, movies, etc.) tell me any of the deaths they remember? I know of a few (Bart, Conner, Jason, Damian), but I don't know if there were others. More specifically, would you all be so kind as to format it like this:

[name]-[age at death]-[cause of death]-[revived?] Ex: Jason Todd - 15(?) - Killed by the Joker - Revived

It doesn't have to be too specific, just enough to give me a base for further research. Honestly, just put as much info as you want.

The second request: how many teen heroes have there been? They don't have to currently be teens either - just how many started off younger than like, their early 20s? (Yes I am well aware that's older than teens, but I count them anyway because they were young.) I know there are a handful (the Robins, Teen Titans (?), Young Justice), but I don't know who they are, and every time I look it up, it feels like it changes.

Also, just out of curiosity, who i your favorite DC character, and why? Mine is Bart Allen (today) because he is a little goblin, and I love him He's precious.

Warnings for this preview: cheesy flirting, mentions of Dawn x Dick (because this is set during the 'flashback era' with the OG Titans); not a lot of warnings here? stalking/unknown surveillance, the reader being a target for Cadmus and not knowing it, the reader uses she/her pronouns; the reader has Kryptonian powers (super strength, flight, lazer eyes, etc.) but I don't think that it has to denote the reader's body type. I think that's it for this preview section.

It was an odd sight, but strangely enough - the Tower was calm.

Somehow, the Titans had stumbled upon the conditions to have themselves a calm, quiet Sunday. Garth and Hank were sitting on the couch trying to best each other in Call of Duty, their eyes glassed over as they stared at the screen and obnoxious shooting noises came from the TV (which had been forcefully turned down by Donna so that everyone else could enjoy their peace). Dick was sitting in one of the large armchairs with Dawn in his lap - it seemed that he was enjoying a rare moment of not having to do much of anything, soaking up the calmness. 

And you were in the kitchen with Donna, preparing a selection of foods for a homemade taco night (Donna’s idea), snacking on more bits than you were helping with as she pattered around, glancing between recipes she had pulled up on her iPad and stirring pots, chopping things, checking timers. Even when the team had the day off - she couldn’t rest. She was a busy body, she couldn’t help herself. 

“Six letter word for a rare flower?” Dawn was doing the Sunday crossword puzzle, and as usual, she had tried to get the answers on her own for a while, bending her own mind with the clues - but she was growing tired of guessing, so now she was fishing for answers. 

“Lamium?” Dick posed, running a hand gently up her back, quietly pleased to have such a beauty sitting in his lap. 

Dawn scrunched her nose as she looked at the puzzle closer. 

“No.” She said. “It starts with a D.”  

“A rare flower? How about - Donna?” You said, turning to Donna with a wicked smirk on your face as you popped a piece of raw bell pepper between your lips. 

Donna rolled her eyes at this very obvious bid to flirt, and you caught her suppressing a grin as she snatched a cutting board out from under you, filled with the peppers you had just been cutting - before she moved away with it, she leaned in a gave you a haste, sweet peck on the lips. She wanted to scold you when she tasted a variety of food on your lips and realized that you had been sneaking so much of it that was supposed to go into the final dinner, but she resisted. Instead, she turned and scooped the peppers into a pan on the stove behind her. 

“Barf.” Hank barged into the conversation suddenly, letting out a very fake gag.

Somewhere many miles outside of San Francisco, in a secluded bunker that was filled with Cadmus employees that couldn’t be traced back to LexCorp legally, a group of people eagerly watched a set of security monitors. 

Those monitors were filled with footage of you. Newsreels of you saving children from burning buildings, lifting cars off a collapsing bridge in order to save the people inside of them, cellphone footage of you holding up a concrete pillar to keep it from crushing a homeless encampment. 

In the center of all the screens, there were several invasive views of the Titans’ home. Someone had hacked into the Tower’s feed and was displaying it on those screens. While the Titans laughed, joked, and ate dinner, they had no clue that they were being watched by prying eyes. 

“Are you sure she’s the one?” One of the men asked, flicking through some pages on a clipboard in front of him. Files regarding your history. 

“She’s perfect.” A stern woman announced. “I want to start the test as soon as possible.” 

“Yes ma’am.” Someone else agreed. “We can have it launched within the hour.”

Kon-El: So are you like, a clone too? Like a magic clone?

Donna Troy, smoking a cigarillo, wistfully staring off into the distance:

Kon: Uh...Donna?

Donna: ...Sometimes.

Kon: What? What could that possibly mean?

Donna: It means sometimes. The less you know or think about it, the happier your life will be. Trust me.

Kon: Okay that's...sort of ominous.

Donna: You have no idea.

Donna takes a long drag before getting distracted by something and coughing:

Donna: ...Wait.

Donna: Wait you know you're not actually a clone right?

Kon, choking on his Flaming Hot™ Mountain Dew: Ex-excuse me?

Donna: Yeah Vic explained it to me a while back. To be a clone you have to be completely or at least very nearly genetically identical. You're a mix of Superman and Paul Westfield. So...not a clone. Like you could call yourself a Binary Clone, but at that point It's like...why? Y'know? That's basically everybody.

Kon: I...but...I'm...wait no, what are you talking about, I have Lex's genes not Westfield's.

Donna: ...Right, sorry, it's Lex now. Sometimes I forget which continuity we're in...

Kon: What?!

Donna: Y'know honestly I'm not even sure I believe that anyway, It's literally the easiest lie Lex could possibly tell to upset both you and Clark. Like think about it for more than five seconds.

Kon: ...But...

Kon:

Kon: Why do I get sad whenever I ask you questions.

Donna, putting out the cigarillo on her bracelet: Because my curse is to remember everything that editorial has done to us. Sometimes. Now listen, if you don't start crying on me and finish all of your liquid war crime I'll take you out for skeeball and hookers.

An attempt to practice interdimensional travel due to Nora growing angry over Team RWBY's own adventure (BBTAG), but having no context of the situation. Team JNPR decided to try their hand at it...ended up landing on Earth-3.

Their arrival didn't go unnoticed by Superwoman (Donna), who grew intrigued (aroused) by Jaune and Remnant; but the four luckily escaped. Let's say Nora's not allowed to pitch ideas without JPR voting.

Is it cheating to say Kory💀 Probably. In my head they’re endgame though<3 like donnakory just have such a genuinely sweet relationship and I think they should kiss. donna is both in awe of and baffled by kory (Thee Perfect Beautiful Ideal Woman who is also unafraid to be messy and angry and passionate and emotional. she is everything donna wants to be but with the flaws she tries so hard to suppress.)

I also LOOOVE donnaroy they are just sweet and fun. childhood besties who are sooo devoted to each other<3 lian loves donna more than anyone else roy dates. I don’t think they work out like long term but I do think roy loves her forever and ever. since modern comics would obviously never canonize donnakory or dickroy, if they’re going to give donna a love interest I would prefer it to be roy above pretty much everyone else

im not a big fan of donnakyle😭 mostly because I’m uhhhhhnotthebiggestkylefan IM SORRY OKAY. I TRIED TO LIKE HIM I REALLY DID. one day I will do a comprehensive kyle read and come around on him. but their relationship didn’t really feel equal to me, like donna is this seasoned hero and mom who has been in the business for 10+ years at this point and kyle still acts like a relatively immature young adult. donna was at actual rock bottom during their relationship and it kind of shows. I think it was necessary for both their characters but I am not a big fan :/

Continuing the First Kiss Series with Donna Troy

The Donna 'Rage Chemical Fic' - Donna Troy x Fem!Kryptonian!Reader, Angst, set during the flashback era of S2 - this is based off a request from my old blog; you are dosed with a chemical that Cadmus is working on (in the hopes of using it on Superman) and you end up in a blind rage; Donna, your lover, is the only one strong enough to fight you and inject you with the antidote (there is some angst where you try to kill Donna and she uses her calm, loving words to temporarily stop the rage) (this is structured like an episode of Titans, set during the OG Titans era)

The Sequel To Emergency Contact (sequel would be called The Jaws of Life) - Jason Todd x GN!Reader, Angst and Smut, set during season 3; this would be a reunion between Jason and the reader after Jason dies and comes back to life (reunion sex) 

and maybe the sequel to Missing You - (because more and more randomly, people have been liking the original and I am just like ?? if you guys like this one so much, then have the sequel) - Gar Logan x Fem!Reader x Jason Todd, Smut, set outside of the canon; I am thinking about a sequel and maybe even a third part to this, where Jason and the reader have phone sex with Gar now that they know he’s listening (and a part where they have sex with him in person)

I really, really, really want to finish the sequel to Emergency Contact because I think it's one of the most wonderfully heartbreaking things I have ever written and I think people need to see it. the world needs it
