Each of the different stockmans def have a different level of how adjusted they are to human society and “fitting in” so to speak.

Wingnut and mondo r the most- adjusted, i guess? wingnut bc shes watched the most pop culture stuff , so in a lot of ways she knows way more abt human culture and well, how people act. Kind of. (which is why it’s a boon and a detriment.) Then there's mondo who’s just plain personable and gets along with everybody! Though he has a bit of a hard time to tell apart with those with bad intentions.

Compare Leatherhead and Scumbug who get to be .. well, they’re freaky looking. They’re not exactly charismatic mammals. Leatherhead knows about the possible reaction they'll get, being some kinda movie monster. Some people hate reptiles outright- and gators are scary. So, they’re content with basically owning who they are. Doesn’t mean they can’t connect with other humans who have like minded hobbies or interests, tho.

+Scumbug doesn’t particularly care that much. Splinter and her family loves her and that’s all that matters. The humans who can look past her appearance and language barrier are welcome to try, though.

Ray is sorta in a middle ground. Most of his difficulties come from being extremely shy and nervous around most humans. It doesn’t help that, well. Frankly he’s a bit of a wimp. He can barely open up among his own family, let alone the rest of New York. He tries his best anyway.
