It was a beautiful Saturday today with the sun shining through the windows and the opened door to the little flower shop I work in besides school. A lot of people came in today, buying flowers for their loved ones, alive or passed.

Even tho it made my heart happy to see all these people buying flowers for their partners, I couldn't help but wonder when someone will buy me my favorites.

"Hey y/n, I'm gonna take my break since it's a bit calmer now. Can I leave you alone my dear?" Mrs. Rosewood asked me. She's in her mid 70's and also the owner of the shop, working in here with all her heart and passion. "Of course Mrs. Rosewood. I'm gonna be fine, don't worry." I gave her a reassuring look and a little smile while removing the thorns from our new arrived roses. "Thank you love, I won't be gone for too long."

I continued cutting off the thorns when I heard two young male voices coming into the shop. I put the flowers in my hands to the side and look up, seeing Theodore Nott and Mattheo Riddle. Of course I know them, who doesn't? Both of them were quite popular in my school, but from another house than mine. Slytherins.

"Dude, just pick some. I bet she won't even mind which one's as long as it's some flowers." Mattheo groaned at his best friend. "No, I don't just wanna give her something. She's special bro."

I had to smirk at the scene in front of me. It wasn't rare that especially man came into our shop without a clue. I left the counter where I stood and walked over to the,. "Hey guys, can I help you?" I questioned with a soft voice.

Both of their heads turned towards me, just now noticing me. Theo smiled at me and nodded. "Hey uhm – yeah. I wanna buy flowers for my girlfriend and don't know what to get her. I think she doesn't have favorite flowers but I wanna give her something.. special." I saw a light tint forming on his cheeks but I hid my smirk.

"Well I could tell you the meanings of some flowers and you can decide what fits the best for whatever you wanna tell her with them. How does that sound?" he instantly looked a little bit relieved. "Yeah, great. That would be really great."

I started to list some of our flowers we sell with their meanings to it but nothing seemed to fit until after a while I got an idea. "Oh my god wait I have the idea. You could gift her tulips. Each color means something different." "Really? That would be quite special, right?"

I waked him over to our tulips and started to pick some of them out of the vases. "So red means 'deep love' which obviously fits, right? Then we have the yellow ones that stand for 'happiness and sunshine which is perfect for happy occasions. The variegated ones mean 'you have beautiful eyes' because of their beautiful color patterns. The pink ones stand for 'affection and caring'. And last the cream tulips which mean 'I will love you forever.'"

Theodore looks at me impressed and starts smiling. "This is perfect, she will love this! Can you give me three of each please?" I smile back at him and start making a pretty bouquet out of the 15 tulips, adding some cream colored ribbons to the stems.

When I look up I suddenly met Mattheo's eyes, somehow staring into mine. I give him a shy smile and when Theo see's his best friends state he nudged him slightly against his shoulder. He breaks our eye contact and looks down to his feet. Did I do something wrong?

"Here, your flowers. I know your girlfriend will love them." I promise and send him a warm smile. "Thanks again y/n, don't know what I would have done without your help." And with that I give him the bouquet and he pays, leaving a generous tip which I refused to take at first but only took because he told me he would leave it on the door If I wouldn't take it. I have to admit he definitely has charm and I completely understand his girlfriend, but my mind couldn't forget the eye contact I had with his best friend.

I think I never saw Mattheo that quiet, which lets me worry I may have been boring him with all my talking about flowers. But now it was too late anyways to I tried to shake that thought off as good as I could.

The next day I walked through the halls of Hogwarts when suddenly a pretty girl stood in front of me. I think I recognize her somewhere, her necklace gives a hint of her being from Slytherin. "Hey, are you y/n l/n ?" she asks me with a little smile to her lips, tilting her head to the side a bit. "Yeah that's me, is everything alright?" I asked her kind of worried that maybe I am in trouble.

"No I just wanted to thank you. I am Theodore's girlfriend and he gave me the flowers he bought in your shop. He told me you helped him and I just wanted to tell you how much I loved them." A bright smile formed on my lips now and I nodded. "Oh I'm happy you liked them that much!" "Yes, especially the meaning behind the so, thank you again. I guess I will see you around." she politely comments. "Yeah, see you around." With that she walked away again and left me with a smirk on my lips. I'm alway's so happy when I see the reactions of the people that get gifted by our flowers.

Another day went by, the weekend over which meant I had to get ready for classes again. With a good mood I woke up my best friends which I shared a dorm with together and changed into my school uniform. First class today was Transfiguration.

I sat down next to my best friend Blair, waiting for the professor to start the lesson. "You remember when I told you that mattheo and Theodore were in my shop? I forgot to tell you that Theo's girlfriend came to me yesterday and thanked me for helping him with the flowers." I whispered to her. She turned her head to me with big eyes. "And that's something you just forget to tell your best friend? Where was your mind that you forgot?" she chuckled until she noticed my pink cheeks. "Oh my god, are you still thinking about Riddle?" Now my eyes had gone wide. "Shhhh –"

"Please open your books on page 286." Professor McGonagall started the class, just right on time so I wouldn't have to hear Blair try to tell me what a huge crush I developed in two days for him. Which isn't true I mean.

We were in the middle of class when someone knocked on the closed door. All heads turned towards it, inclusive Professor McGonagall's who spoke, "Yes, please?" The door opened and a younger boy from Slytherin, I guess from year 4 maybe, walked in with the biggest bouquet of sunflowers I've ever seen in my entire life.

"Wow.." I breathed out, stunned at the sight in front of us. Sunflowers were my absolute favorite flowers since I was a little kid and my dad planted them in our garden.

"Uhm – I'm sorry to interrupt your class Professor but.." I saw him gulping and had to swallow down my laugh. He looked so nervous under her arched brows and surprised face. ".. I was send to deliver these flowers to y/n l/n. It's a gift." What?

Now all heads turned to me, away from the boy. He walked over to me and handed me the bouquet, rushing out of the classroom. "Who the hell send these to you?" Blair gasped and gawked at all the flowers. " I - I don't know." I stuttered still too stunned to speak.

I met the gaze from McGonagall who's corners of her lips slightly turned upwards before she told the class to concentrate again and dismissed me to bring the bouquet to my room.

On my way out I smelled the, my heart instantly turning warm. Who could have send them to me? Who would know they are my favorites? I never told anyone beside my family and Blair. Was this a mistake? Oh god, a prank even?

I rushed to my dorm where the next surprise waited for me when I opened the door. What the –. At least a hundred of sunflowers were spread all over my dorm. On the beds, on the tables, nightstands, some even on the ground in white vases. Tears started to form in my eyes. Who could have done this? And how?

I mean, I wasn't even away for an hour. A half maybe? I stepped inside slowly, careful to not run over any of the flowers. The whole room smelled like them now, even with the opened windows. I think I've had never seen something so beautiful like this. I looked for any sign, a letter maybe.

Then, I found one on my nightstand. It was a little card. I opened it and read

" The most beautiful part is, I wasn't even looking when I found you."

I turned the letter around. But nothing. No sign of who's behind all of this. I took out a new vase of my own and put the flowers in my hand into it. Why is he keeping it a secret who he is?

A few days went by and I found myself working in the shop today again. The last time I was here, was when I helped Theodore. "Good afternoon." I greeted Mrs. Rosewood who already prepared some flowers. "Oh hello dear, good to see you. How are you?" I'm good, how about you? Lot's of people today?" She turns back to the flowers in her hand and answers, "No not really, I already thought about giving you a day off because I really don't know how to entertain you today."

"Ah you know I could always help preparing flowers." I chuckled, while grabbing my apron. "Hm no I'm already done with them. really dear, take a day off. And maybe spend them with your new boyfriend." she smiled at me. Boyfriend? What?

"Mrs. Rosewood, I don't have a boyfriend?" She turned to me again with a surprised look on her face. " Oh really? Then who was the boy in here ordering all these sunflowers for you?"

My jaw almost hit the floor. She know's who bought them for me? "What? You know who he was?When was he here?" I asked her eager.

"Oh it was a young boy in your age. He asked me what your favorite flowers were and what the meaning of them were. I told him Sunflowers, that's right. Right?" "Y-Yeah they are but- who was he? How did he look? I received them through someone else and all over my room but to the letter were no initials."

"Ah he had brown curly hair, brown eyes. He looked really handsome. Oh I forgot his name. Max? Matthew? Oh! Mattheo! His name was Mattheo." she smiled brightly at me while I felt all my color vanishing from my face.

Was this really a joke? But who would do this for a prank? Then a normal bouquet would have been enough. "Are you sure it's from him?" "Yes, yes I am. he was in here Saturday with his friend too while I took a break. I saw him from the other side of the street, I remember."

My heart pounded so fast in my chest I feared it crawling out of my mouth. Mattheo. Mattheo Riddle. He send them to me.

She must have seen my face because she smiled at me again. "You have a free day my dear, go talk to him." I let out a deep breath, nodding. "I - I will. Thank you so much!" And all of a sudden I couldn't stop smiling.

I almost ran towards our school, looking for the brunette boy. God where should I start looking for him? Then without really thinking about it, I walked towards the common room of the Slytherins, sporting just the person I needed right now.

"Pansy!" I almost shutout through the hall and jogged towards her just when she wanted to walk inside her common room. "Y/n? Did you already figure out it was- " "Yes, yes I did. Can you tell me where he is?" "He's inside. Should I tell him you're waiting here?" "Please, and thank you Pansy." She smiled at me and nodded her head. "No problem."

I felt like throwing up while waiting for Mattheo. Again my heart almost jumped out of my chest when he finally stepped out of his common room. He seemed nervous and scratched the back of his neck.

"Hey y/n." he nearly whispered, standing right in front of me now. "You.. send the flowers, right?" I asked him with so much hope in my voice. He nodded, a shy smile forming on his lips. "It was me, yes. Did you like them? The lady in the store told me Sunflowers are your favorites so I guessed you- " Without letting him speak his full sentence, I crashed into him and hugged him tightly, my head just reaching his chest.

"I loved them, thank you Mattheo. They are so beautiful. Nobody did something like that for me like, ever. The k you so much." I murmured against his clothes, my eyes welling up again.

He wrapped his arms around my body and looked down at me. "So, you're not disappointed that they are from me?" he softly asked. "What? How could I me disappointed at that? I have the biggest crush on you since -" I stopped myself when I realized the words coming right out of my mouth.

I slowly looked up into his teasing smile. "Hmm, a crush yeah?" my cheeks probably turned red like a tomato. he placed a hand on my cheeks and stroked it lovingly with his thumb. "I was so stunned when you offered Theo your help. I couldn't believe I never saw you before in school. I was so utterly falling in love that-"

Now he was the one who stopped mid sentence and I looked at him shocked. "Love?" He licked his lips and gulped before nodding slowly. "Yeah.. love at first sight or.. something like that. The told me it's called like that."

I couldn't believe my ears. Or my eyes. Was this really happening? "So, would you like to go on a date with me?" he asked me, still stroking my cheek. "Of course, I'd love to actually." I giggled, still wondering If this all was just a dream too good to be true.

Wonbin is very affectionate. But not in a kiss-you-till-your-face-falls-off kinda way, but by holding your hand whenever and whenever he can and pressing kisses all over your face while he calls you his pretty angel <3

He would be the calmest best friend ever. You could be furious, ranting to him about the beef you have with a classmate and he would be like "Oh. That's crazy :|" He's not ignoring you, he's just chill like that. The friendship would start from being assigned as partners in a class project, because Wonbin doesn't like making new friends on his own.

Wonbin's favorite memory was when he first opened up about his fears to you. He's quite embarrassed by them, but to see you accept him and support him with zero judgment made him feel so loved and so relieved.

S = Security (How protective are they? How would they protect you?)

Wonbin is very protective. If you're going out somewhere, he makes you promise to update him time to time on where you are, just for safety reasons. If you have to work overtime, Wonbin will drive up to your workplace to bring you home. It's a scary world out there, and he doesn't want anything to happen to you.

T = Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?)

He always puts in his 100%. He doesn't hesitate to splurge on these things too, personalizing each date, anniversary, and gift so it'll all be something for you to remember fondly on and love for years to come. In terms of everyday tasks, he might slack sometimes, but he gets them done by the end of the day.

U = Ugly (What would be some bad habits of theirs?)

Somedays, Wonbin just wants to lie in bed and watch YouTube for the whole day. You understand he's tired and he definitely deserves the rest, but sometimes he goes to the extent of not wanting to eat. You have to drag him from the bed and force him to eat. It's a bad habit he's had for years, so he'll need some time to break it.

V = Vanity (How concerned are they with their looks?)

Wonbin's not really concerned with his looks - he's already naturally drop-dead gorgeous. He just keeps his basic hygiene, does a sheet mask once in two weeks, and works out twice a week to stay presentable.

W = Whole (Would they feel incomplete without you?)

Very much. Wonbin's a very clingy lover, so when he's without you, he'll feel so empty and sad.

X = Xtra (A random headcanon for them.)

Wonbin plans the cutest dates ever. He spends a lot of time on his phone, so he often comes across posts about cute parks or interesting museums that he's sure you'll love. He does a lot of research too, making sure there are things that you'll be interested in and cafes nearby to bring you to.

Y = Yuck (What are some things they wouldn’t like, either in general or in a partner?)

Wonbin hates it when people push his boundaries, especially when it's related to his fears. He'll instantly shut down and end the relationship, regardless if it was a family member or a friend.

Wonbin sleeps like a koala bear. He has to be in contact with you somehow, be it his arms wrapped around your neck or his longs legs tangled with yours or his head resting on your arm.

you’re met with the overwhelming smell of flowers as soon as you open your locker. you can’t help the smile that spreads across your face at the sight before you. a bouquet of purple dahlias sits delicately placed between your textbooks. 

“i take it you like them?” jake asks, leaning against the locker next to yours. you smile, taking them out and holding them against your chest. 

“i love them,” you smile, pulling him into a quick hug. “thank you!” 

a light flush spreads across jake’s face when you pull away. “i’m glad,” he murmurs. he absentmindedly plays with the strap of his backpack. “hey, i was wondering-” 

his question is cut off by the shrill noise of the school bell, officially announcing the start of the school day. slowly, the student body begins dispersing through the hallways, entering various different classrooms. “shit, i have a test in second period,” you curse to yourself. “oh, what were you gonna ask?” 

“it’s nothing important.” jake’s blush gets a little darker as he waves you off. “i’ll walk you to class?” 

“sure.” you set the flowers back as you close your locker, eagerly returning to jake’s side. his hand brushes against yours before he slowly reaches over, taking your hand into his. 

you dramatically sigh, throwing your head back in frustration. jay stifles a chuckle as he watches you roll onto the floor, laying on the carpet. “math sucks,” you whine. “i hate it here.” 

“what are you working on?” 

“trigonometry.” you nearly hiss the word. 

“come on, it can’t be that bad.” you lift your head to glare at him through your fringe before dramatically laying back down. 

“i am but a poor teenage boy. i can’t be expected to memorize the unit circle!” 

jay laughs, setting his notes aside and kneeling down next to you. “alright, why don’t we take a break?” you sit up as he walks over to the other side of his room, grabbing his guitar from it’s resting place against the wall. 

“ooh, gonna play me a song, pretty boy?” the nickname makes a dark flush spread across his face as he sits across from you. 

“i wont be able to if you keep flustering me like this,” he whispers. you chuckle. jay sets the guitar across his thigh, positioning his fingers along the neck. “i’m a little nervous, i haven’t played in front of anyone before.” 

“well, i’m honored to have the privilege of being the first.” he nervously repositions his fingers on the chords, staring down at his hands. “hey,” you reach over to grab his hand, making him look at you. “you’ll do great. i’m sure of it.” 

jay smiles, nodding. “thanks.” he takes a breath before he begins, slowly strumming the strings. “‘cause i’m off my face, in love with you / i’m out of my head, so into you / and i don���t know how you do it / but i’m forever ruined by you.” 

jay lets the final chords ring out. you sit in a comfortable silence for a few moments. “you’re incredible.” a flustered smile makes it’s way across his face, blush deepening a little. 

“thank you.” he whispers. an odd tension hangs in the air when he looks up at you. you stare into his eyes, deep brown pulling you in. their darkness is alluring. in the next minute you sit staring at him in silence, taking in every part of him, you decide you’d like to get lost in them forever. 

you sigh, setting your belongings onto the library table. jake stifles a laugh as he watches you. “you know we’re gonna have to pick all of this up later, right?” 

you playfully glare at him, ignoring him as you set your bag down on the floor. across from you jay smiles. “you know y/n. he can’t study if he doesn’t have a highlighter in every color in case he needs to take notes.” 

“at least i’m prepared,” you retort, opening your computer. “what are we working on anyways?” 

“chemistry lab.” 

“don’t you actually need to take notes though?” your eyes widen as you look over at jake. 

“notes? did i miss something?” 

his eyebrows furrow as he looks at you. “for history. about the korean war?” 

jay chuckles. “did you forget?” 

“i think so.” you close your laptop, sliding your chair back to stand up. “can you watch my stuff? i need to get my textbook.” 

“go ahead.” 

“thanks.” 

jay waits for you to leave the library before leaning in a little closer to jake, voice dropping to a whisper. “are you two going out?” 

“what?” jake cocks his head at him. “no, why would you think that.” 

“i heard about the flowers.” 

“oh, that’s just a little joke we do every year.” jay nods. “why do you ask?” 

“i was planning on asking him out.” jake nearly freezes as he stares at his friend. this time it’s jay who’s confused at his reaction. “what is it?” 

“i, um…” jake glances over his shoulder before dropping his voice even lower. “i like him too.” 

“i thought you did.” jay has to stop himself from laughing at jake’s shocked expression. “come on, you’re not exactly… subtle.” 

“oh, and you are?” 

“listen, i don’t want this to affect our relationship, but i also don’t want to miss out on a chance with y/n.” 

“so, what are you thinking?” 

“i’m thinking we both ask him out and let him choose.” 

“choose?” jay shrugs. 

“i mean, unless you have a better idea.” 

“no, no. when were you planning on asking him?” 

“sometime tomorrow. probably at a cafe.” 

jake nods. “that works for me.” 

the cafe is nearly empty when you enter. you spot jake and jay immediately, both sitting together at a table. jay waves you over, smiling when you sit down. “sorry i’m late, i wasn’t expecting the rain.” 

“don’t be.” jake shakes his head. he slides a cup across to you. “we got you an americano.” 

“oh, thank you.” the cup is warm against your hand. you take your jacket off, setting it on the chair beside you. jay and jake share a glance together. you cock your head at them in confusion. “what are you planning?” 

“we’ve been talking, and we wanted to ask…” jake begins. 

“we both like you.” jay finishes. you raise an eyebrow at them. 

“and you want me to choose?” 

“that’s… kinda what we were planning, yeah.” 

you have to stop yourself from laughing in disbelief. “i’ve also been thinking and i like you too. both of you.” 

“so, you mean…” 

“listen, i really like you guys. and i’m willing to try this if you are.” 

jake is the first to react, reaching out to take your hand. “i really like you. i want to try.” 

you look over at jay. he contemplates for a second before nodding. “as long as we take it slow.” 

“we don’t have to do anything until all of us are comfortable.” jake squeezes your hand.

Kim Taehyung is a well known jazz singer, having played in almost every cabaret of the city. People like his groove, like how he enjoys himself on the stage, like how he gets along so perfectly with the music.

Taehyung's voice is a melody they can't forget. When they come back home after a long night at the bar, the only thing they can think of is the deep tone of his voice, remembering the shivers that made the hair on their arms raise up when he first sang into the microphone.

That's why he's so popular, he leaves such a strong and great impression, making people look up at him in admiration, wishing they had his talent.

You can't lie, his looks contribute to his popularity too. Taehyung is incredibly beautiful, making everyone turn their head in his direction whenever he passes by them. All of the women he meets fall for his charms, amazed by his smile and his intense gaze that leaves nobody indifferent.

But they don't know him the way you do. They don't know about the beauty mark resting just under his right eye or about his boxy smile he wears when he's really happy.

They don't know that behind this extravagant and impressive man, there is someone who enjoys staying in bed after noon with his arms wrapped around your waist, face snuggling in the crook of your neck.

He danced with you that night, making you look like a princess, tricking everyone into thinking they paid to see you and not actually to hear him sing.

And he was right. This was the most exhilarating experience you've ever lived, being at his side and sharing the stage with him. Having people's eyes on you was something you thought would be embarrassing or scary, but he made you change your opinion on that.

In fact, you gave little care to what they were thinking because everything that matters to you was just in front of you, looking at you like you were one of the wonders of the world.

Since that night, you know what he feels like when staring at you. He feels like he's with the love of his life, with his soulmate. You know this because that's how it felt like dancing with Taehyung up on that stage.

Don’t wanna get too crazy here but with Karlie buying W and i-D… do you think she wants to be the next Anna Wintour? I don’t mean she wants to outright replace her once she retires but maybe she wants to follow a similar career trajectory?

I don’t think she wants to be Anna Wintour, though she respects her and there are a few similarities. Anna has been editor-in-chief of US Vogue since 1988, and is the chief content officer of Condé Nast.

Karlie is more of an investor and entrepreneur, and geared more to the business side of things but has a unique position and perspective given her career in fashion and actually working with these publications. That position offers priceless connections, insight, and experience in a fast changing industry. Her positive professional reputation amongst designers, photographers, editors, writers, makeup artists, investors etc is a big plus.

Whether Karlie decides to be part of the artistic direction of a publication, or the business side or something in between, its something she is very capable of doing and a great next step for her. She’s been quietly working towards this behind the scenes for a while now anyways.

Also, she has very much been ahead of the trends in digital and sustainable fashion technology. She’s been talking about it for years now and it’s slowly moving on that front, but she knows it’s coming which is a great thing to be able to get ahead of, and an important quality to have.

Honestly Karlie realized the importance of social media early on has and used it to promote her interests on a personal level. Also, she realized early on she had a curiosity for learning things outside of modeling and has pursued those interests with passion. (I feel that, given the vast amount of interests I have and need to learn something new constantly).

And as a model, she understands the power magazines have in fashion. I know a lot of publications are moving away from print and going digital for costs, and to be eco-friendly, but I think there’s still a market for physical copies, it just needs to be revamped for a comeback. Like vinyls.

So to answer your question, no I don’t think wants to be Anna Wintour… I think there’s big difference in their focuses, but yes I can see her have a similar trajectory but with a wider field of view.

Karlie is part of the next generation of publishing and all that it entails. She has a vision and a passion for so many different things and one thing publishing does is combine a lot of those things into one. So it’s a smart move for her and something I think she will be very good at and dive deeper into in the future. If she didn’t think she could turn something around I don’t think she’d invest. And there’s a personal connection there for her that is special.

When you hear her talk about these things, whether it’s the intricacies of the fashion world, or when it comes to business, or advocacy, she always has the facts and statistics on hand. 🐇|| The Moondust Catalog is the DEBUT mini album by LUNARIX, released by ANGELICO Entertainment on JULY 31ST 2023. It’s available digitally and physically, and has SIX tracks with “ATTENTION!” being its title track. LUNARIX promoted the album for six weeks in which they performed each track on the album at least once.

“ATTENTION!” received ZERO music show wins. They posted daily on their Youtube channel, held twelve virtual fansigns as well as six in person ones, and appeared on various variety shows as a group. They revealed their group name and their new member during this era. Siyeon was added to the group after the removal of pre-debut member Angel.

—  anyways, the girls wrote every song on the album! every girl had writing credits and they were very proud of that!

—  attention! did manage to break into the top 100, debuting at 62 and peaking at 12!

—  all the girls got an ending fairy for their first stage and they all ended up getting emotional, causing them to go viral for how heartwarming and funny the video is. it starts with siyeon who was smiling brightly and professionally, then went to taerin who was panting and had tears in her eyes, then to navi who's bottom lip was trembling as she gave a small smile, then to evie who was smiling but when she blinked tears fell and she started laughing, then to laila who was already crying but trying to keep her composure, puckering her lips and doing a finger heart, and finally to yoomi who was just full on crying.

—  the girls did go viral for their visuals because another thing you can't deny is that these girls are pretty!

—  there was still a hatetrain, like, people were still on their ass for every little thing.

—  evie said her favorite venus song was bad girl, she was accused of hating ot5 venus. taerin asked for people to not talk about other groups on her live, she was accused of being shady. laila wore a pink top from shein that jiah happened to own, suddenly she's a jiah wannabe like...no breaks. no breaks at all.

—  they didn't let it get to them tho! they kept their grace!

—  every song had a music video and it all interconnects to their lore. their lore, according to jinhwa, has been in the works for years now and will be made into short films and possibly a book which got every very excited.

—  the attention! mv got 12 million views in 24 hours! big achievement for them! they had a little party on live and did a special dance practice where they were wearing animal onesies!

—  everyone was pretty accepting of siyeon and thought she fit in the group seamlessly.....too seamlessly.

—  lot of theories about her addition and angel's removal. theories that navi asked people to stop asking her about and that taerin called stupid.

—  overall, while a bit harsh online, the debut was very successful and well recieved! the girls are happy for the first time in a long time! happy lunarix debut 🤍

This was meant to be a one-off.

The first time it happened, it’d been in the heat of the moment. The hero had managed to catch the villain, shouldering them into the dirty brick wall behind them. The villain had gasped at the force, their eyes bright, waiting, expectant, in the low lamp light. The hero had had a long day, and they weren’t thinking straight—that was their excuse, anyway—and without thinking they’d bent down and pressed their lips to the villain’s. The move caught the criminal off guard, if their muffled yelp was anything to go by, but they didn’t stop it—or anything that happened after it.

The hero told themself that that was the only time that would ever happen. It was a slip up, a mistake made because they were dizzy with stress and exhaustion.

It was harder to tell themself that after the second time, though. Even more so after the third, and the fourth, and the fifth and the sixth and the seventh. It was practically becoming a routine, and eventually the villain would gift them with a cocky smirk whenever they came across each other in the street.

Something seemed to click by the eighth time. They’d managed to pin the villain to the concrete below, a knowing grin spreading over their face as the hero grabbed their wrists to restrain them.

“Oh no,” the villain said smoothly. “You caught me. Now what?”

The hero had leaned down to kiss them, because of course they had. The steps were basically second nature by now, the little things that got the most reaction seared into their mind. They knew exactly where to put every inch of their body to get their nemesis desperate for them. Why did they know this? When did they start remembering these things?

They’d been pulled from their thoughts when a shuddery gasp escaped the villain, barely held back, and some part inside them that hadn’t moved in a long time fluttered erratically at the sound. They paused, terrified of the conclusion they were about to come to, and the villain’s expression switched from bliss to concern in a second.

“What’s wrong, darling?” the villain asked softly, and the fluttering increased tenfold. The first time this had happened had been selfish. Now though, they’d put everything aside if it meant they got to have the villain like this. Why the hell were they thinking like that?

The villain sat up slightly. “We can stop,” they suggested quietly.

“It’s not you,” the hero blurted immediately. They shifted over to give the villain some space. “I think I just, uh, I got a call. Agency needs me, uh, now.”

They were on their feet in a second. The villain opened their mouth to ask, but their jacket was over their shoulder before any questions could come out, and the hero disappeared without explanation into the evening.

The hero spent a lot of time avoiding the villain after that. They were pretty sure the criminal was actively looking for them, since avoiding them turned out so goddamn difficult, but they just needed time to figure things out for themself.

Back before this all happened, they’d acknowledged that the villain was unreasonably attractive, sure, but that never got in the way of their work. Eight mistakes in, though, they barely wanted to work anymore. They had a good time with the villain, they couldn’t deny that, but it felt different somehow. Their body cried for them in that time they didn’t see each other, and not in a way that could be fixed with a quick encounter. They wanted something beyond the ten minutes they got in dark alleyways.

They managed a week without seeing the villain. It gave them time to clear their mind and have their moral freak outs a little more privately, but it meant they had to hold back from throwing themself at the villain when they stepped into their path.

“You’ve been avoiding me,” is all they said.

The hero had taken up patrols on the opposite side of the city. Their avoidance wasn’t the most subtle.

“I’ve been… working through some things,” the hero told them after a moment, and the villain snorted humorously. 

“That good a time that it made you reevaluate your entire life?” The villain laughed a little more freely, and that little dormant part of them fluttered again.  The hero offered a short laugh, but the sound fell flat disingenuously.

“Y’know, you can say if you want to call it off,” the villain suggested after more silence. “Pretend we never got too close and go back to just kicking ass.”

“I think that’s a good idea,” the hero added a little too fast, and the villain raised their eyebrows in disbelief. “I– I just think it’d be safer for us.”

“Jeez, okay, that was fast.”

“I’m sorry, I know it’s not—”

“No it’s fine, whatever, I don’t care—”

“No, [Villain], it—”

“I get it [Hero], really—”

“No, you don’t!” The vigour of the hero’s voice shut the villain up, and the moment they got the chance they couldn't stop the words from falling out. “You don’t get it! It’s nothing to do with you, okay? I’m– I’ve fucked up really bad and—”

“Alright, calm down,” the villain interjected softly, but the hero was already on the brink of tears.

“I think I’m in love with you, [Villain].”

The villain froze at that, and the hero knew they’d said too much. “I– I’m sorry,” they continued desperately, though they could already see the damage done in their nemesis’s—the person they’d ended up caring about more than anything—face. “I didn’t mean to end up like this. I won’t bring it up again. I’m so sorry.”

“You can’t do that,” the villain said, uncharacteristically quiet, and the hero felt like they’d just pulled out the pin holding their life together. “That’s– you can’t do that to me.”

“I’m sorry—”

“No, no, you don’t get it.” The villain’s face twisted into a scowl, and it was the most hurt they’d ever looked. “I fucking hate you, y’know? We did all this because it was a fun way to get the frustration out.”

“I– I know, but it just became more for me, I didn’t– I didn’t ask for this—”

“You really thought I’d ever trust you enough to like you?” The hiss between their teeth didn’t do justice to the burning pain of their words. “You’re right. Calling it off is safer.”

The world felt like it was crumbling around the hero’s shoulders. “No, [Villain], I swear I don’t want this either but—”

“Yeah, you’re right, I don’t want this.” They took a step backwards, away from the hero’s reach. “For the record, I despise you, and it’s a miracle I ever let you touch me. I wouldn’t trust you to hold a stick, let alone in a relationship.”

The last word came out as a cold spit, and the hero flinched at its ferocity. The villain turned on their heel with a final disappointed frown, making a getaway from their newfound horror.

“[Villain]—”

The villain didn’t even give them the time of day. They turned down the end of the street, and running after them only rewarded the hero with an empty road. They made a forlorn wipe at their eyes, and resigned themself to the fact that they’d probably never see the one they needed so badly ever again.

i just started playing acnh (i got a switch lite after years of wanting one :D!) abd im no where near decorating but, do you have any tips for how to lay the groundwork of decoration. I have no clue how to make a pretty island but i really want one so any tips would be appreciated :}

thats def a good question, but honestly the main thing should just be to have fun with it and try to get creative in your own way, especially when you first start playing and everything is new💛 its hard to get items and diy’s fast in this game so patience is key and after a while you can consider trading with others and such if you feel its all too slow!

playing with terraforming and waterscaping is so fun but if you end up finding it hard i would look to the community and get some inspiration before starting a big project! im personally a big fan of moodboards and saving pictures that inspire me to build and decorate, so i recommend that too. doing a color palette with flowers and items is also a great way to structure your decorating and make things look very matchy and intentional!

i did a post a while back with tips for building up your island after flattening everything and i feel like that could also work for this ask -> here!🤍(instead of being tips for after flattening it could be how to structure starting over??)

the acnh community is large! we are here on tumblr ofc but youtube, pinterest and such are all great for gathering info and inspiration too🪴 also everyone with a very build up island has potentially been playing for years now, so take your own time and dont be too self-critical!🤍i 100% did not decorate the way i do now in the early days of playing!! hope you have fun with it!!💛
