I think the concept of fictional characters breaking the fourth wall to find out about their own ships is always funny, but I need you to imagine lawlight learning about lawlight for a second. Light's face goes completely blank save for a violent eye twitch while he internally cycles through all five stages of grief and at least 10 emotions not yet recognised by the field of psychology within a matter of seconds, after which he plasters on a very strained polite smile and asks what "law" stands for in the most fake saccharine voice you've ever heard. L tries to murder Light with his bare hands. Light decks L in the face while getting choked out and weasels away, politely excusing himself for a minute, then L drops dead immediately after. Like I know it's self indulgence but it'd be so funny to see a full kardashian style Brucie Wayne, spoilt playboy prince of Gotham, local sunshine idiot on the front page every other week for darwinian levels of idiocy or billionaire levels of donations.

But he gets kidnapped or something and there's illusions or mind magics that make him think he's in the bat suit and then he gets dumped in the middle of a live world broadcast arena to fight some goons.

Like he doesn't think anything of it, batman's been kidnapped and forced into gladitorial arenas for sport many times before, maybe he always carries concealed weapons so he's still got like grapples and batarangs and stuff, but he's just going full doomslayer on these guys. No cowl. No suit. Just an open silk shirt and a pair of slacks. In full view of the world.

Tell you what, what about the whole justice league. Just a group of the motleyest people you've ever met. There's about as many famous people as there are absolute nobodies.

Several billionaires defer to the guy who writes articles on outdated lead in buildings and socio economic corruption. There's a renowned museum curator flying and uppercutting aliens so hard they get tossed across the room. There's a guy who spoke in science conferences about meta containment procedures running up the wall and delivering a roundhouse kick to three enemies at once. Bruce Wayne and Oliver Queen. Of all people. Two world famous idiot ceo celebrities. And they're back to back whaling on armoured alien henchmen like a well oiled team. A ten year old podcaster shooting lightning from his fingers and no one in the group bats an eye.

Just.... Insanity.

why does the pjo series have to unnecessarily villainize goddesses (hera & athena) or show them as silly ladies (aphrodite & demeter) BUT posiedon and apollo are somehow shown as the coolest/most likeable gods, even though arguably, they're right after zeus on terms of corruption?

ares shown as the worst god after zeus and hera amuses me. last time i checked, he was the patron god of amazons and literally killed a man for attempting to rape his daughter but guess who cursed women for rejection? apollo. guess who raped women when they said no (aside from zeus)? posiedon.

A gumshoe that stalks around the city of Tacoma, he deals with the Supernatural on a daily basis - trying to solve crime that involve the fae, the wolves, the leeches - but never taking the time to solve his own mysterious situation. "Doe" - a Malkavian who woke up after her Embrace beginning to hear the voice of the "narrator" of their world. Firmly sure that she's a book character, she meets Carmichael and knows through her meta knowledge that she has to help him with whatever he has because that's her part to play! The show must go on, even when you're sure that it's just to entertain some weird forces you can't perceive.
