so lil headcanon?

and this isn't mean to be negative but Mipha does not view Zelda as a friend. She is her ally and she remains civil with her. Outside of that, they aren't friends. This isn't a bad thing, she's just never gotten to spend time with her like she has with Link, being established old friends. That's all there is to it. With all of her duties she doesn't really have time to relax and have a big social circle, it reflects poorly on nobody.

I do like to imagine she's formed a friendship with urbosa though.

So the headcannon that Wind can see ghosts right?

Headcannon, he can see Mipha revive Wild

Headcannon, he can see lil Time, who died, watch over Legend and Hyrule

(ie worry over when they look sad or curl up and sleep w/ them)

Headcannon, he can see Fierce Deity float around Time, Wars, and the others

(ie poking Wars in the ribs and muttering about his eating habits, trying to push Time back to his bedroll, attempting to tuck Wild in, fretting over whenever Twilight gets injured, sitting by a homesick Sky, curled up around Legde and Rulie w/ lil dead Time's ghost, making funny faces at Wind once discovering he can actually see him)

Headcannon that whenever it seems Four's eyes look purple-ish, he sees Shadow flicker over him with a very fond look in his eyes

Headcannon that Wind can see the first one flash to life above them full of fury when one gets badly injured or angry, he's the most corporal, so much so that Wind thought he was alive the first time, he particularly likes Sky

Headcannon that none of them know until Wind tells them or something happens

as you can see Dorephan's genes hardly contributed to Sidon's creation. also i imagine he was a grumpy person when he was younger. Runala definitely put him back in his place a lot and he had no choice but to chill

mipha teaching you how to swim

pairing: mipha x gn!reader

tags: platonic/romantic relationship, wholesome fluff, reader can't swim, foreign!reader, supportive!mipha

while the zora domain might be surrounded by nothing but water, other areas of hyrule don't have that much water, like the desert or death mountain

where you come from, there isn't enough water to swim in, so you never learned how to do it

yet mipha is eager to help you learn how to swim! it's second nature to her and she's convinced you'll love it too, once you learn it!

despite your fear, you eventually give in and allow mipha to teach you how to swim, knowing how happy it would make her!

mipha starts out getting you accustomed to more shallow water, before you slowly move further into the deep water, where she holds onto you, while you try to float on the water

even as you're nervous, mipha praises you and keeps telling you what to do next, as you slowly learn how you need to move your arms and legs

eventually, mipha even lets go of you and you swim a few meters by yourself, before you realize what you're doing and the fear kicks in again, leading to mipha holding onto you again

it takes a few training sessions before you feel comfortable in the water and with the technique, but eventually, you feel confident enough to accompany mipha to swim around her favorite places near zora's domain!

BOTW Champion Headcanons Part 11 (I think)

Mental health is dipping, so you know what that means more headcanons!

Purrah chews pens and has definitely bit through one at least once and swallowed a bunch of ink.

Luckily, the frequent and risky human experimentation Purrah performs on herself immunized her to any possible illness she could have acquired from ingesting said ink.

Link has sign language nicknames for all the Champions.

The Champions all got tattoos together.

Urbosa got a lightning streak down her thigh, Daruk got an image of Vah Rudania on his back, Revali got an arrow and a feather in an "x" formation, Mipha got a koi fish curled around a trident on her forearm, Zelda got a sleeping princess flower behind her left ear, and Link got a little dog. It has a little hat.

Urbosa got snake bite piercings at some point.

Link is far less serious than everyone assumes. He acts that way because he's uncomfortable around strangers, but once you get to know him oh boy there's no turning back.

Revali would be an excellent chess player, but he gets so wrapped up in meticulously planning a strategy that he doesn't realize Urbosa's winning until she says checkmate.

Daruk always feels awful asking Mipha to heal him, so he often sneaks away after fights to a field healer before she can fuss over him.

Zelda doodles on her hands. She also writes reminders on her arms.

For all their disagreements and teasing, Urbosa and Revali love to judge other people together. (Revali more so than Urbosa, but she sticks around cus his commentary is actually hilarious).

Zelda and Link got so comfortable around each other that they often communicate just in glances and unintelligible half sentences. It confuses the hell out of everyone else.

Robbie will eat nearly every organic thing you hand him if he's tired enough, and sometimes it doesn't even have to be organic. Purrah has been running a three year long study about the corellation between Robbie's sleep deprivation and the types of objects he'll ingest.

I just got over a mild cold and I wanted to write some little headcanons about the BOTW Champions and how they would act if they got sick. (Should I do this for the TOTK Sages too?)

Link...

~You don't know he's sick until he suddenly bends over coughing. He then becomes very sheepish about it and explains how he didn't want to miss work.

~Once its out in the open, he completely surrenders to whoever is taking care of him. He lets them make him food and give him medicine and such.

~His favorite thing to eat when sick is Creamy Heart Soup and fruit salad.

~He will curl up on the couch with a blanket and a book Zelda lent him and just chill there for the day until he feels better.

Zelda...

~Doesn't mind getting sick too much because she realized it can give her a short break from her ever-looming responsibilities.

~Will make herself a cup of tea, get some books, and sit there and read for hours.

~Will eat lots healthy foods to help her recover faster (she does have things to get back to) , her favorite being Vegetable Omelets and Mushroom Skewers.

~She takes hot baths before bed and tends to go through far more tissues than she'd like to admit.

Revali...

~Is in complete denial that he is sick, despite being obviously so. He will insist that he's completely fine and will go down in flames on that standing.

~Absolutely hates being bedridden. You will have to tie him to that bed to get him to stay in it. He despises "wasting time lying around when I could be training and--"

~Becomes utterly miserable. He gets extra snippy with everyone and and is all-round moody. He hates not being at 100%.

~Once he finally settles down, he will sleep for hours. When he wakes up, he'll hunt down some Poultry Pilaf or Seafood Riceballs.

Mipha...

~Basically doesn't get sick (probably has something to do with her healing powers).

~On the rare occasion that she does get sick, she takes very good care of herself, getting an adequate amount of sleep and makes sure not to push herself too hard.

~Enjoys orange juice and toast when she's sick.

~Will wander around in a blanket when sick, and spend time drawing.

Urbosa...

~Is very in-tune with her body and how it functions, and knows immediately when she's coming down with something.

~Is very careful not to over-exert herself when she's under the weather and lets people know she's not doing well, especially if its something contagious.

~Will leave a detailed schedule for the following week for her second-in-command to use while she is resting.

~Will make herself Mushroom Risotto or Salt-Grilled Greens

Daruk...

~Doesn't like being sick mostly because he can't breathe right. And it gets on his nerves. Like, really badly.

~Zelda once told him steam helps clear the sinuses and now every time he'll go up the hot springs and will sit there for hours because it helps him breathe.

~When he gets back from the hot springs, he'll cook himself up a nice Rock Roast and sit on the bridge over the entrance to Goron City.

~Gets little sleep when he's sick, due to the fact that his clogged nose keeps him up.

That is all.

She just wishes she could unlock her powers and feel like she isn't a failure

Even though she doesn't tell you this, you can tell what she's thinking

You eventually get her to open up about it, and the rift between you is gone

You keep encouraging her to not blame herself

She really apricates this and is happy to know that she has your support

Against your father's wishes, you let her join in on your research since you can tell how interested she is in it

You keep her updated on anything new you learn

Overall, you're both very close to each other

Despite the fact that Link had been assigned to protect Zelda, she sometimes asks him to check on you

He doesn't say much, but you grow to enjoy his company

You often tell him about anything new you've learned, always excited about any discovery you make

He finds it cute how you smile while talking about your research, but he never expresses it

He'll just listen while you talk, letting you go on for as long as you want to

You really look up to him and admire his courage

You also admire his dedication to keeping both your sister and Hyrule safe

Whenever Zelda sends him away, you often find him and spend time with him

It's times like this when you reassure him that she's just under a lot of stress

He really apricates your comfort and grows to see you as a younger sister

Revali

You first meet Revali when doing research on one of the divine beasts

At first, he acts like he doesn't like you

But deep down he admires how smart you are

You grow closer the more you visit his divine beast

You keep him updated on whatever you learn about it, which means you spend a lot of time with him

You start to see past his cocky attitude and find that he's really a nice person deep down

Revali will sometimes take you flying, something you really enjoy

He's like your reluctant older brother

Daruk

Daruk is really sweet and bonds with you quickly

He loves hearing about your research and will often spend time with you

He'll tell you about his culture since you love to learn new things

He thinks it's cute how enthusiastic you get about these kinds of things

He also admires you for how smart you are

But he also knows how you can sometimes feel pressured to learn as much as you can

He'll remind you to take a break and makes sure you take care of yourself

He's just really sweet

Urbosa

Urbosa is close to both you and Zelda

She sees you both as sisters and treats you as such

She congratulates you whenever you learn something new during your research

She finds the proud smile that you have on your face when you do

She even gifts you a piece of Gurudo jewelry since you admired hers so much

Urbosa even offers to take you to Gurudo city

She's a great sister figure to you

Mipha

Mipha is really sweet and easy to get along with

So you both grow really close soon after meeting her

She'll often join you during your research, especially when it comes to her divine beasts

She looks up to you for being so smart, despite the fact that she's older than you

You look up to her for her kindness

In a way, you remind her of her little brother

So she becomes a bit protective of you

She's another great sister figure

I think a lot of players have Sidon as the first charismatic character they've encountered in a game. I'm no exception, so I more than understand his popularity among fans. It's a shame we weren't given more of his backstory in the game. Although I found out later that he's one of the DLC characters, and there's even a canon view of him when he was a kid, but... I NEED MORE!!!

So... I guess you could call it my headcanon????? I rather like to think that he and Link managed to have at least a little interaction in the past. And that Link remembering Sidon would be surprised at how much he would have grown in 100 years.

I kind of miss those childhood YouTube parody shock videos that were full of really shitty dark humor content that I had no idea about at the time 😭😭 so I decided to do so with zelda bc I miss seeing main characters being peices of shit out of canon

(Keep in mind, I don't support those types of videos anymore but idk.. I just kind of missed that trashy vibe of my childhood.)

In the Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity timeline, Mipha confesses her love to Link. They end up together.

Zelda continues her research in both Sheikah and Zonai technology, now with King Rhoam allowing her to do so as she always wanted.

Purah figures out she has feelings for Zelda and Zelda realizes that she's bisexual when she starts finding Purah attractive. After about a year of flirting, they get together.

Revali and Link now train vigorously so that they can fight in the coliseum in front of all Hyrule to determine which of them is actually better at fighting.

Kohga and Sooga have gay sex every day and are happy boyfriends.

Ganondorf's body remains under Hyrule Castle for over a hundred years before he comes back from the dead when Queen Zelda and the Hero of the Wild are old and frail. Tears of the Kingdom happens but the only difference is the age. Also Zelda has dementia and Link has become deaf from their old ages.
