ink is a 20+ general mewe. we are lit/semi-lit with a focus on creativity and character expression through writing, art, music, and anything else that inspires us. we look to encourage this with bi-weekly art or writing prompts and think pieces as well as invite our muses to interact through not only sharing their own inspirations but also by building connections with threads, events, games, movies or whatever else helps comfortably keep them connected. whatever sparks your muse, we hope to be an exciting color on their canvas.

A little comparison just for fun because I'm sleepy as fuck but can't sleep. Wish me luck guys I need it tomorrow

On phone, with fingers:

On iPad with apple pencil (the standard issue one. I guess?)

On laptop, with One by Wacom:

I guess it's not really a fair comparison because over the years I moved away from phone and towards pen tablet—so my art has improved over time too. And that one time I used iPad I borrowed it from a friend because I didn't have One back then... And I just needed a tablet. Of any kind, really. And I'll never buy anything from Apple if I can help it so there's that too...

One good thing about drawing with fingers is that I drew while waiting for food at diners. Which is a lot of the time... Can't draw at diners if I'm using a laptop and a pen tablet. I'm only comfortable in my bed lol. But at this point, unless I'm literally drawing in class because the lecture's mind-numbing as fuck... I don't really prefer phone anymore. Took a long time to get used to pen tablet but I like it now. I'll surely have better control in traditional and I do believe I draw much better traditional.

But digital is the only medium I can do colours in. I suck at colours in traditional so... I'll take digital.

thinking of how hot it would be if delicate little kehda — artist kehda, chemist kehda, who makes her own pigments as much as poisons and explosives — had tattoos. tattoos of her own design, scrawled into her skin with inks of her own making. she wasn't the actual tattooist, but she certainly has an interest in the art.
