Both otter Rain and kitty dew are awful to deal with when it comes to packing.

Rain keeps putting rocks in suitcases and getting huffy when they're removed.

Dew will keep snatching things someone packed for him out of the suitcase and hissing when they go to take it back.

If someone is packing for a trip that either of the two are not going on? They will plop themselves right onto the open suitcase snd looked pleased with themselves because 'there now you can't go bc im here or you gotta take me with you'.

Dew bit Aether's hand and dragged him to the open suitcase and tried to nudge him into it at the start of this last tour cycle, fully set on just packing aether and taking him with him (he cried when Aether had to tell him no).

Void i need you to know just how much i love this!!!!! otter Rainy trying to pack all his rocks and just not understanding (or more likely not caring) that it will make the suitcase too heavy. they eventually come to a compromise that he can choose three rocks to take with him and whilst he is still not happy about it he chooses his three favourite and gently packs them away. when the ghouls next open their suitcases they find that Rain managed to sneak the rest of his rocks in with their luggage instead sfhshdf.

and kitty Dew hating the fact that people keep messing with all his stuff!! why are they taking all his clothes and putting it in a weird little box?? those are his!! it takes hours and a lot of distractions and cookies to finally pack everything for Dew.

EJHBFJDHFS they're so pleased with themselves that they figured out how to stop whoever's leaving from going anywhere its such a foolproof plan!!

Dew just kept trying to herd Aether towards the suitcase, shoving him with increasing force just desperately trying to pack him up and take him with them on tour. he doesnt want him to stay behind and he's getting pretty frustrated that Aether isnt cooperating. and Aether oh he's so sad about this all too but he stays patient with the smaller ghoul but when Dew starts crying it makes him cry too...

been reading a lot of regressor rain fics recently and i think little rain would love kitty dew. both love hanging out with each other. little rain is so careful to not scare off dew or overwhelm him and even helps keep him occupied with cuddles (when dew wants them) and also fetch, i like to imagine kitty dew is a kitty that plays fetch. dew makes sure to not upset little rain and theyre just so good and nice to each other

aa sorry it took a while to get round to these two... i genuinely love the idea of little Rain and kitty Dew hanging out!! some ideas under the cut :3

kitty Dew can recognise when his mousey is little and knows how to act in that scenario. he's so gentle with him. normally he will (lightly) bite and bap at him to get his attention but when Rain is little he wont. he's so patient with him. and he's incredibly protective too. when they walk around together Dew always walks out in front and looks behind every now and then to meow at Rain and make sure he's still following. Rain giggles every time because ehehe kittyyyy!! Dew shares his little mousey with Rain because he still tries to look after him even when he's kitty and he knows little mousey makes him feel happy and safe so he's sure it'll work for Rain when he's little (it does). they'll pass it back and forth whenever the other needs it.

and little Rain just loves kitty Dew sooo much!! he loves playing fetch with him. he tried to get kitty Dew to colour with him one time but Dew found it difficult to hold the pen and didnt really understand what to do. Mountain got out the finger painting though and Dew had an easier time with that. he still didnt really get what was happening but he saw Rain smiling underneath all the paint on his face and knew it was making him happy. Rain painted an orange kitty with little horns and a tail with a spade at the end. Dew painted a blob. Mountain sighed as he realised he forgot to put a tarp out and now the floor is covered in paint.

cuddles are their favourite activity together though. they will sit there and cuddle and Rain will read picture books to Dew and Dew will listen intently. sometimes Rain will squeeze a bit too tight without realising but kitty Dew will refrain from hissing at him though and will only wiggle around a little bit. kitty Dew has only hissed at Rain once and it was an accident. Rain accidentally stepped on his tail and Dew did it out of instinct before realising who it was. Rain did start to cry but Dew gave him little mousey (this is the first time he does) and he calmed down a little. kitty Dew has never hissed at little Rain since.

they do cause mischief together though! the other ghouls normally watch them from a distance when theyre together but know they'll still look after each other if left alone for a bit. when everything goes quiet though they instantly get suspicious. this normally means theyre trying to sneak some cookies from the cupboard before dinner or shredding toilet paper together or Rain somehow got into Cumulus' makeup again and is making kitty Dew look all pretty.

theyre normally very well behaved together though and so kind and gentle to one another and make each other feel so safe and happy

Well... Nana IS my wife already, meow. But I'll give it a chancie-wancie since it's Master Luther, haa〜.

I think they'd look good in, like—a married 70s couple context or somethin', mrow. Maybe if I still remained as their pet too, 'cept Nana would also be my Master then. Hnn... yeah, I do like how that sounds... nnnyaaa... purr, purr.
