i want the show to have Rand tell Lanfear that he knows she turned evil because Lews Therin broke her off and for her to just immediately start ranting about tenure and about how you make ONE little mistake and create ONE little bore and suddenly everyone is mad at you all the time and you can't get a third name and you're an embarrassment to have around

something about how when a guy sonic character has nothing going for him in canon or is from a game people dont like people will flesh him out and write 500 page fanfictions about him detailing their au backstory for him anyway. if he does something really really bad whether it was a mistake or fully intentional people are willing to think about and understand why he did what he did. or theyll just ignore it entirely or blame it on bad writing. but when a girl sonic character does any of those same things shes treated like the spawn of satan
#and im not saying you should never ever do any of the things i just mentioned#sometimes its fun to see what you can do with a character that sega themselves neglects#sometimes things can be blamed on bad writing#but how come when shadow does somehting people dont like its blamed on the writers not shadow himself#but when amy does something people dont like they always take it out on the character and dont blame it on the writing#or when knuckles or silver fall for a villains tricks its fine they were manipulated its not their fault#but when lanolin does the same thing shes stupid and mean and all that stuff#people like mephiles but hate elise even though theyre both from sonic 06 and never appeared in another game after that#people will be obsessed with characters like infinite and gadget for reasons they literally made up#but then ignore any girl character that they think is boring or underdeveloped#like. hellooooooo is anyone else seeing this. am i imagining all of it

#makuhita#so fun fact about makuhita. this was my favorite pokémon when i was a kid#i don't know *why* it was‚ i just know that me as a kid really liked this pokémon. i think it was something about their eyes and their round#shape that just made me think it was cute. they're certainly not my favorite pokémon anymore as my favorite has shifted over and over#recently as i've been figuring everything out but this one i distinctly remember being my favorite when i was a kid#and that was before i even played rt to know abt the makuhita dojo. it was totally in isolation of that. i really just liked the way it look#ed. i'm pretty sure it's 'cause one of the fuckers in pyrite had a shadow makuhita? and that's how i like. came to figure out they existed#i remember not wanting to purify them bc i thought shadow rush was too good and they kept getting boring moves like focus energy#that i thought were useless bc they didn't do damage and so i thought it was gonna get *another* bad move to replace shadow rush#i dunno it was a whole thing. even after i purified them i remember being so upset when they evolved into hariyama#bc i did not like the way hariyama looked at all and thought it was an abomination compared to makuhita#i think i ended up making a new save file and just mashing B every time they tried to evolve. which i figured out you could do#and that's. that's my makuhita story. every time i see this pokémon i think about that story. because it's so rare#no one ever talks about makuhita so i feel like it's rare that i actually get to remember this. so i still do every time
