“when have we ever deserved anything?” you mumbled, stepping closer, until there was no space left between you. “bask in these moments of comforts. They may be your last, Geto Suguru.” you spoke with a dramatic flare, trying to lighten the mood.

The irony of that statement.

Your boyfriend's lips finally twitched into that little half-smile you fell in love with," you havent put a hit on me, have you?"

Your eyes twinkle in amusement," how dare you?" You twirl a strand of his long dark hair around your finger, grinning mysteriously," I would kill you in a far more romantic way."

Suguru chuckled softly, the sound low and warm, as he leaned in closer, his forehead nearly brushing yours, “Oh? And what exactly does a ‘romantic’ death look like?”

You tilted your head, feigning deep thought, though your grin only grew. “Something dramatic, of course. Like poison in a glass of wine under the moonlight. Or maybe a dagger to the heart while we slow dance to a tragic love song.”

He smirked, his dark eyes gleaming with playful intrigue as his brows raised mockingly, “You’ve clearly thought this through. Should I be worried?”

“Maybe,” you teased, tugging gently on the strand of hair still coiled around your finger. “But don’t worry, I’d make sure you look breathtaking even in death.”

He had laughed then, a rare, genuine sound that made your heart ache with how much you loved him. “You’re ridiculous,” he said, shaking his head.

“And you love it,” you shot back, poking him lightly in the chest.

He caught your hand before you could pull away, his grip firm yet tender. “I do,” he murmured, his voice softening. “guess I have to savour these moments then, huh?"

"Every second."

The sun dipped below the horizon, and the first stars began to appear in the darkening sky. For a brief, stolen moment, it felt as though the universe held you both in its tender grasp, shielding you from the cruel realities waiting just beyond this moment.

But fate is never so kind.

Unbeknownst to you both, this was one of the last sunsets you would share. The paths you walked, though intertwined now, were already diverging. His descent into darkness, his growing hatred for the world, would soon become an insurmountable chasm between you.

It's a new year! And that means a new profile Pic and watermark!

Old versions and extra details under cut!

The biggest change is the swap from my milk-encapsuled-frog (patent pending/j) to my Sona! I decided on the swap because

It felt too branded? It didn't feel personalized or really meaningful, just an extension of my username

My Sona holds alot more of my identity, it's how I express myself in art

The frog is so hard to pose. It's literally in a milk carton and the perspective issues do not help.

How tf am I supposed to dress-up that frog in outfits, like do I put it in a different bottle?? Do I drill holes in a cola can???

I do love my froggy fellow but for now he will be retiring (maybe they'll find a hobby or start a band, they are freed from profile picture duty's to go do whatever they want).

Also I have two watermarks now! A signature and one with my Sona that's very reminiscent of my old watermark. All of my new stuff is more vibrant now to reflect alot more confidence and improvement in my art! I can't really explain the rainbowy stuff lmao, I just think it adds a bit of whimsy and looks neat.

I hope y'all enjoy the changes, they're a bit jarring but I think they're a lot more me!

i want the show to have Rand tell Lanfear that he knows she turned evil because Lews Therin broke her off and for her to just immediately start ranting about tenure and about how you make ONE little mistake and create ONE little bore and suddenly everyone is mad at you all the time and you can't get a third name and you're an embarrassment to have around

something about how when a guy sonic character has nothing going for him in canon or is from a game people dont like people will flesh him out and write 500 page fanfictions about him detailing their au backstory for him anyway. if he does something really really bad whether it was a mistake or fully intentional people are willing to think about and understand why he did what he did. or theyll just ignore it entirely or blame it on bad writing. but when a girl sonic character does any of those same things shes treated like the spawn of satan
