Thank you to those who leave comments under regressor creations and to those who scream in the tags. It is SUCH a joy seeing people be greatful and not only does it make me feel more fulfilled but it's so good to know that these creators are getting the recognition they deserve :)

Whether it's just a "hey I liked this, thank you" or more detailed points you enjoyed or going feral, I really encourage anyone reading this post to let that blogger feel appriciated.

There's 2 categories of regression headcanons

You fully believe this character is or could be a regressor/cg/flip/something. There's bits in canon that you can point to and say that's why and there's reasons why they would specificially regress or be a caregiver! A headcanon or heartcanon.

For sillies. Feasibly, you could write ANY character to be part of the community! You don't actually think it would fit but you're either imagining it because you're fond of the character and there's just something about it or you're going through all the characters in your head an applying babification to them. I call these "regressorland headcanons" where you prioritise the regression over being true to canon.

Both are great Both are entertaining! But gosh it can be hard to get yourself to answer "do I actually think this would fit or am I just doing this for the sake of it/doing what i think could possibly apply"

Flip! N Headcanons Pt. 1☆

A/N: Okay so for the past two days I’ve been having a very mild brain rot about murder drones (I binged watched it within the span of a day and a half) and I just CANNOT get the idea of a flip N out of my head so that’s what we’re doing today! These are mainly going to be Regressor! N headcanons and then I’ll have CG! N headcanons in another part! (I apologize beforehand for my rambling 💀)

🐶 Okay so first things first, yes I do think N would be a flip and I think he would do an AMAZING job at it! He’s definitely a mix between a puppy pet regressor and a boy regressor

⤷ 💛 I feel like he would regress for a lot of reasons and sometime struggle with why he does it in the first place (being that he’s a robot and doesn’t experience childhood normally) my headcanon is that he found out about regression somehow while learning about humans or during his time with Tessa and it’s just been a private thing ever since! His age range is 0-10 and it varies between days! He’s kinda just all over the place and goes with what he feels!

🐾 N definitely loves to play all the time and will have many amounts of chew toys (could be real ones that he found or just yknow- metal he finds) He has a problem for sure with not chewing too much on his toys either! (Golden retrievers have gentle mouths but this golden puppy doesn’t know his own strength :”])

🐶 He will absolutely MELT for some pets and will always wag his tail when he gets some! (This does result in him getting lightly scolded if he’s not careful with his tail :”]) If he’s particularly pet regressed a little puppy nose will pop up between his eyes too! (Yes he makes perfect puppy noises too teehee)

💛 When he’s regularly regressed he will ALWAYS babble if he’s young enough, he just loves to talk and will always want to engage in some form of talk with you!

⤷🐾 Same goes for when he’s pet regressed he will bark, whine and howl to his hearts content!

🐶 N absolutely LOVES to get praised for absolutely anything ever he just loves to be a good boy! He wants to be all the good things! Smart, cute, good, playful just a perfect little puppy!

💛 N will pretty much freely regress whenever! (No one notices in the first place because it’s not much more different than how he usually acts x]) But! He only lets people who he really trusts care for and babysit him! Much less let them know he’s regressing in the first place

🐾 Speaking more about N loving praise this leads to how he acts when he’s little and all there is to say really is that he’s just a little angel! He’s never bratty and never a troublemaker because all he wants to do is be a good boy! He’ll even go as far to ask whoever is taking care of him if they need any help with anything and do chores with them!

🐶 Another thing about little N is that he loves to cuddle all the time. If anything he gets a tiny little bit anxious when he’s NOT touching someone. It can be as small as some hand holding to as smothering as a long cuddle or just being held 💛 he’s a sweet boy and always needs his snuggle fix :3

💛 It’s not often for him but if he ever does go nonverbal while regressing he’ll just write what he wants to say on his screen for people to read :> sometimes it’ll be little emoticons too just for cuteness :3

🐾 Yes N loves to dress up all cutesie when he’s little when he can! Especially if it’s something extra cute! Yellows and blues are particularly his favorites!

🐶 When he’s regressed (not as a puppy) and wants to play his favorite thing is to play pretend! Pretend has so many possibilities to do and he wants to do every single one!

💛 N will draw cards and letters for all his loved ones and it’s really a ritual for him he loves to express himself and even if no one keeps them it makes him feel good to have done it in the first place! :3

🐾 N does have various little gear things but he always has to be very careful when he uses them just because his fangs tend to get in the way :”]

💙 - telemachus is a flip (little lean) that takes the role of a big brother when he’s caregiving and usually pet regresses to a pup/wolf when he’s little. the only time he doesn’t pet regress is with his parents, particularly with odysseus because they both see it as a means of “starting over”.

💙 - he really enjoys risk play— climbing on things, jumping around, and rolling around with argos and the other hunting dogs of ithaca. he often comes home with scraped knees and its to the point where athena (and hermes) silently watch from afar to keep him safe (particularly before odysseus gets home) because he’s a rowdy puppy with no concept of self-preservation.

💙 - with odysseus gone, penelope depressed and busy running the kingdom, and most of the boys his age being too old (or too angry at his father’s involvement with the war) for him to play with, telemachus grew up very isolated. when he regresses, he hates being alone and has cried more than once when his parents have had to step away for even a moment. it genuinely breaks both of their hearts.

💙 - he still has all the toys that his father carved for him when he was a baby, and all the blankets and clothing his mother made him. when odysseus returned home and found out about telemachus’ regression, he took it in stride (because, really, nothing can shock him at this point and he’s really just glad to be back) and started to carve him even more toys to play with. they often play together on the floor of telemachus’ room, which does a number on odysseus’ back.

💙 - because athena often calls him her little wolf, regardless of his headspace, hermes started calling him a little wolf in sheep’s clothing and uses it as an excuse to call him lamb related pet names when he regresses. hermes also just calls him ‘the littlest prince’ and anything else he can think of to tease him (side note: he uses very similar sheep related pet names for odysseus, like father like son).

💙 - telemachus LOVES playing in the water, swimming, and being on a ship when he’s small. in puppy space, he generally loves running around in the forest and athena often tries to incorporate it into his training (playing fetch to practice his reflexes, for example), but he really is a sea wolf at heart and longs for his father to play with him in the water. one time, odysseus threw him off one of ithaca’s docks and was forced to keep doing it despite his aching muscles because telemachus’ giggle every time he resurfaced was too adorable.

💙 - to be honest, most of this is also true when he’s in big brother mode or in an older headspace. the main difference is just that he’s in an older headspace and therefore far more mischievous. he reminds everyone a lot of a teenage odysseus now that he isn’t burdened by the weight of the suitors and his family’s grief. he loves causing trouble, knowing that the resulting “punishment” will be equally insane. odysseus once had him rounding up goats for three hours, only to reveal that for every goat telemachus put in the pen, odysseus picked a different one up and let it go. telemachus, with his mother’s help, got him back by filling the palace with said goats while he was asleep. he spent much of his teenage years in uncertainty regarding his father’s living status, the growing impatience of the suitors, and the looming knowledge that he is growing into a responsibility that no one prepared him for. his older headspace is really healing, in that aspect.

💙 - fiercely protective of his momma, regardless of his headspace, and she finds this endlessly amusing (and equally sweet). when odysseus comes home, it’s a bit of a struggle for telemachus to adapt to someone else taking up his mother’s time, especially when he’s small and prone to the jealousy of a little boy. sometimes, his parents will be lounging together, talking and making up for lost time, and he’ll wiggle between them and rest his head in her lap. other times, he might drag odysseus away from anyone he’s talking to for the same reason. lucky for him, he has both his parents wrapped around his finger and neither of them have any qualms with giving him extra snuggles <3

Ranpo is bit of a bratty kiti..but he absolutely loves whenever Fukuzawa pets him!

Fukuzawa gets upset whenever cats don't cuddle up with him most of the time..but whenever Ranpo is regressed and cuddles up with him, he gets happy!!

Ranpo loves candy a lot,, so Whenever he's out with Fukuzawa, Fukuzawa would always carry candy with him! (But doesn't let the kiti eat too much)

Ranpo regresses between 1-3 and Fukuzawa is always his primary caregiver

Ranpo has kiti accessories at home!, paw gloves and paw sockies! As well ears and a tail!!!

Lazy morningsss.. Ranpo and Fukuzawa always have lazy mornings together when they don't have to go into work, a little Ranpo cuddling up to his cg and mimicking a cat purring as Fukuzawa pets him.. -w-

Dazai picks on Ranpo a lot(/silly), which causes the kiti to pout and hide behind Fukuzawa while glaring at Dazai

Self indulgent JJK petre headcanons that have been sitting in my drafts for MONTHS

Yuuji -- tiger regressor, very playful when regressed, sometimes he forgets how much strength he has and is accidentally a little too aggressive, extremely vocal and has a lot of vocal stims

Megumi -- wolf regressor (duhh), completely nonverbal when regressed (EXTREMELY touchy and cuddly though!!), has a habit of clinging to his caregiver's sleeves (despite Megumi's denial, Gojo typically ends up in a caregiver role for obvious reasons)

Nobara -- ferret regressor (don't ask, this was purely a gut feeling), incredibly sneaky even when regressed, also a stinky little thief, almost as energetic as Yuuji, the two often get paired up when they're both regressed to tire each other out

Satoru -- kitty regressor, still has pretty good verbal skills when regressed and is even more of a yapper in kittyspace, legally required to have some sort of plushie on standby because he's very prone to violent tantrums, favorite stim is kneading for obvious reasons, textured fidgets are one of the easiest ways to keep him distracted

Note: After Suguru's defection, Satoru no longer regresses. Ever. He becomes a caregiver for any littles and pets around Jujutsu Tech who need one

Suguru -- bunny + kitty regressor, used to be a bunny regressor exclusively, but shifted to kittyspace after he defected (wonder why...), quiet and shy but still verbal, doesn't throw tantrums but will lightly stomp when he's upset (even in kittyspace)

Might do a part 2 later on with some other characters, specifically the 2nd years, Shoko, and Utahime. Only reason I didn't include them is because I can't think of anything for them right now :P

Regressor Zhongli + Cg Childe headcanons

~Chasing a dragon regressed Zhongli around his home. Xianyun warned Childe ahead of time that pet regressed Zhongli is a menace, but clearly neglected to inform him that it extended to shapeshifting into a literal dragon and catching the zoomies at random periods of the day.

~The regressor misses Guizhong. A lot. Sometimes forgetting that while he might feel like a child it doesn’t mean that everything around him is as how he remembered it in his younger days.

~And poor Childe can’t help because he never knew Guizhong. He has no way to comfort the boy other than to hold him and listen to him as he remanences.

~Something, something, Zhongli being able to change his appearance to that of an actual child. Ajax has so much fun being able to treat Zhongli like an actual kid that way. Carrying him on his shoulders, giving him piggy back rides, throwing him up into the air.

~Zhongli feels better when he has some sort of set boundaries, (A set bedtime, allowed a certain amount of sweets after dinner, told to pick up his toys, make his bed, etc.) Meanwhile Ajax can be such a push over. Ten minutes past bed time? It’s fine. One extra sweet? He lost count himself ages ago. A home is more comfy when it feels lived in! Honestly the little one is having to remind his caregiver more times than not about the rules they set up

~Ajax has had to listen to so many infodump ramblings from his little one. Often times he will just play with Zhongli’s hair and asks him a couple of questions now or then and let the regressor talk his ear off. He would 100% say something along the lines of ‘hey, catch your breath there a moment, won’t ya?’ If he needs to interrupt the little.

loves to lie down on the carpet and bask in the sun, it's his favorite pastime!!

clingiest little kitty ever . . ! he loves to nuzzle and rub against kaeya, often a silent plea to be given head scratches and cuddles >_<

when feeling sleepy, he starts to gently knead against his soft blankets n pillows, or sometimes against kaeya's chest or lap (who, kaeya, dubbed him as "the best biscuit maker in the entirety of teyvat!").

biiggg lazyy stretches . . so. many. stretches.

he's often very low-energy when in his headspace, tiny mews and big yawns are mostly what you can get from him. he's just a small little kitty, after all!

however, in the times when he isn't low-energy, he's pretty playful! he loves gnawing on and bunny-kicking his plushies, except sometimes to the point they need to be replaced by his handler . .

for this reason, kaeya got him some teethers!

CARDBOARD BOXES HIS BELOVED !!!!!!! it's his second-most favorite place to take a cozy afternoon nap! (the first is obviously on the carpet, sun-basking >.<).

since dainsleif is mostly a quiet little kitty, it's hard to tell where he sometimes is due to just how silently he moves.

for this reason, the traveler (not really, it was mostly paimon's idea) advised kaeya to get dain a little custom-made jingly collar for him!

not the biggest fan of different variants of milk, he prefers the simple plain, warm milk. he only sometimes likes having a dash of honey stirred into his milk.

he loves loafing (correction, attempting to loaf) on his handler's lap, but almost always fails to due to how big n tall he is, which upsets him :( but luckily, kaeya's always there to cheer his little kitty up!

JJK AGERE HEADCANONS!!!!

A bit more in-depth than Genshin cause less characters! Did not include everyone! And I'm so sorry if anyone is OOC I tried.

Gojo: Such a papa caregiver and will melt if a little calls him that or trusts him to watch them, BUT OH DOES HE SPOIL HIS LITTLES. Used to regress with Sugaru, he has watched over every regressor in the school at least once, even if it's just to check in at night without them knowing. He had an age range of 7-9, a bigger kid with lots of energy, but he stopped after Sugaru left cause he didn't trust anyone else enough to watch him. (⁠ ⁠╹⁠▽⁠╹⁠ ⁠) (I'm gonna get exiled for all the angst)

Suguru: Such a dad caregiver. He used to watch over Gojo but obviously doesn't anymore. He's a mildly strict caregiver and always wants to know what his little one is doing or where they are.

Shoko: Constantly supplying Gojo with bandaids for Yuuji and Nobara.

Nanami: Doesn't fully understand but after it's explained he's a good option for babysitting when he's not working. He's so male wife that he can cook, clean and watch kids really well, the only one he struggles with is Yuuji cause nobody can keep up with that kiddo.

Takuma: Doesn't understand much but tries to help in any way he can and will do whatever Nanami asks to help out with the kiddos.

Yuuji: Oh good God. So hyper. 7-9 age range with absolutely endless energy. He loves parks and to play with Megumi's dogs. Gojo and Megumi are his main caregivers cause Megumi can keep him in check and Gojo can keep up with his energy.

Megumi: “caregiver” watches over Nobara and Yuuji but secretly at night he curls up with his dogs and a pacifier. 2-6 age range and possibly a puppy regressor? The only person who knows is Gojo but that's because he's nosy and came into his room while he was small. He's a very calm but kind of strict caregiver, and will summon the bunnies to keep Yuuji and or Nobara happy and busy while he cooks. Yuuji and Nobara have asked if he's a regressor or why he knows so much about it or even why he has pacifiers that look made for him but he just brushes off their questions.

Nobara: Occasional little! 5-10 age range, loves to do Maki's hair and make art with her nails and hammer. Hangs out around Yuji when he's small to help Megumi but she can't watch him alone cause she can't keep up with his endless energy.

Maki: Regressed a few times in the past but didn't really find it as the way she wanted to cope. She doesn't watch littles either but she's never rude to them, she just guides them to their caregiver or someone who is equipped to take care of them. If she's with Panda while he is babysitting and it's Nobara she'll do her hair or let Nobara do her hair. If a little wants to learn to use a weapon she'll have a special and easy lesson for them to follow.

Panda: The ultimate babysitter!!! Best cuddles and littles are always dropped off with him if they can't find their caregiver or just need to be watched. (⁠≧⁠▽⁠≦⁠)

Inumaki: Nonverbal flip, he has watched over Yuta when small but he usually hides in his room and naps when small. He is always checking in on his little, water? Food? Nap? Anything, obviously communication is an issue with him so he tries to set his little up with whatever they need and then just puts on cartoons while they cuddle or he works on something. 2-5 age range and I feel like an occasional pet regressor, don't know what animal tho. He definitely is a sucker for pacifiers and has an issue with chewing on stuff, especially his hands. So he has deco pacifiers and teethers. He's never had a caregiver, Panda watched him once or twice or he has playdates with Yuta rarely. He regresses a lot more at night cause that's when he's alone and can be safe, he probably has a plush or two to cuddle with. Everyone found out when he had a real bad day and broke down while training because his throat hurt so bad and he got all fuzzy. ｡⁠:ﾟ⁠(⁠;⁠´⁠∩⁠`⁠;⁠)ﾟ⁠:⁠｡

Yuta: OH MY POOR SWEET BABY. 100% a little, could care for people but would worry so much over a little if he had to watch them he would just stress himself out. 5-7 age range, he's a smart kiddo. Could be a puppy regressor?? possibly??? He started regressing when the bullying started, Rika would watch over him when small but didn't understand it fully. Poor baby ends up stumbling around campus looking for Toge or someone to watch him while all fuzzy and scared. He was able to explain it well enough to Panda so he helped tell the others. He has a blanket that he loves and carries around. He usually ends up with Toge, Maki is a bit too harsh and Panda is more of a babysitter, he usually isn't small for too long and is a very well behaved and quiet little. Ó⁠╭⁠╮⁠Ò

Sukuna: Simply does not understand, will throw a blanket at the child and walk away. ರ⁠_⁠ರ

Uraume: Doesn't really understand them, they did some research and have a general idea. But they aren't really in contact with any littles to watch but would be quite good with them as long as they're calm.

Choso: RAHHHH BIG BROTHER CAREGIVER!!!!!!!!! Watches over Yuuji, may not understand but he's just told he's taking care of his brother as if he was a kid. Constantly learning new recipes for Yuuji and is always trying to keep up with his energy. Doesn't have to work for any supplies Yuuji might want cause by God did Gojo just buy every little thing he could think of for the regressors.

I'm sorry for all the angst headcanons it feeds me. If you can't tell who my favorites are by my rambles- I'm sorry I love them sm. Also if anyone will write agere fanfic abt Inumaki or Yuta I'm begging I need it. Did I maybe self project on Inumaki and Yuta? Shhhh..

Might I offer you an idea that has been bouncing around in my head.

So caregivers with a pet space. Like you know papa bear gyomei- right? Okay. Lion cg Rengoku, looking after a baby Tanjiro.

Just- that’s his cub. Tiny most precious thing. And like how lionesses will hide their cubs from the rest if the pride when they are newborns, Rengoku does the same thing. Yeah he might trust the other pillars with his life, but not while Tanjiro is like this. Anyone who tries to get close and touch his boy gets snarled at (besides Giyu because it is just hard to see him as threatening when Tanjiro adores him so much while regressed)

Shinobu is so tired of Rengoku’s shenanigans like ‘Tanjiro is injured, quit being feral and let me see him >:1 ’

Anyways thoughts?

This is beyond peak. I love this idea.

Senjuro, Obanai, Tanjiro, and Nezuko are his cubs and great goodness is it a hassle to try and do anything with the four.

Also Yknow when cubs get stuck being groomed and they just look so done? I imagine that’s how Senjuro looks when Kyojuro is putting curl products in his hair or scar cream on Obanai’s face. Nezuko will sit for hours as he brushes her hair though.

Shinobu is always done with everyone honestly. Zenitsu hopping everywhere, Sanemi and Genya growling at each other, Kanao only communicating in various squeaks.

will probably goes outside to play a lot an when he comes back in he treks dirt all through the house and hannibal can't get mad at him because he looks so happy!!

hannibal definitely makes will "dog" treats from scratch (biscuits an other snacks) and he lets will do the mixing.

whenever will gets bored and fussy, hannibal come sup with creative activities for them to do but spends a majority of the time trying to stop will from eating/chewing on the materials.

hannibal has thought about babyproofing areas of the house for will to play freely in because will is constantly get scrapes from being so energetic and adventurous.

will gets really sad when he's regressed sometimes and hannibal plans out a full day to try and cheer him up but sometimes will just wants them to sit together and read while hannibal holds him. (hannibals socialite nature vs wills introverted nature)

will loves playing in puddles when they go for walks after it's been raining so hannibal carries an extra pair of socks and shoes because once will has finished having fun, he hates the feeling of his feet being wet (my autistic king, i just know he HATES wet materials - he just like me fr)
