Oswin:  Likely going to absorb as much feeling as possible from whatever letter or poem he first stumbled upon. He puts it back out of respect but tries to memorize every bit before he does. He longs to see them.

We were at the lunch table and I was next to chooch they all ate so precisely it made my eye brows furrow. I continued to eat my food until they started talking "Hey Rodney, how you like the food?" Oliver asked catching my attention "Same as handleman. Except the shit on a shingles a little more tart" I had no clue what that fucking ment. "Hey ike, about tonight" Oliver wishpered "Shut up." He snapped "What's tonight?" Rodney questioned "Nothing. Nothings tonight." Ike said sounding angry "Hey! Ververgraerts okay." Oliver said to ike "What's going down here? You guys are going over the wall aren't you?" "No. They are going to kiss, what do you think" I said rolling my eyes "Shut up" ike said to both of us "Well, I wanna go to" Rodney said

Then it got cold again "son of a bitch.." I wishperd getting cold "Who are you?" Liceman asked Rodney "Rodney Ververgaert, sir" Rodney said "Ververgaert? With a v? Oh, yeah i have your dossierright here. Checked in last night" I pushed my food away not hungry I zoned out again and I looked back and liceman is gone I also zoned out on half of the guys covno and chooch started talking "Not that you guys mean anything to me, But you guys are gonna get caught mark my word." He said as I looked at the rest of the guys "Chooch is right, we don't wanna break curfew" Oliver said they stared talking then they left I stayed there I noticed chooch made a face realizing I didn't leave "You ain't going with em'?" As I was laying in my bed the lights were off and I was about to fall asleep until I heard our door close I noticed that Rodney wasn't there but I saw chooch getting up "Chooch?" I said to him as he grabbed a empty tape "follow me" he said once we were changed we followed Rodney, we walked outside and ran after him. Then we saw Liceman fighting body bags. Then we saw Rodney he started yapping about OUR plan to Him, Chooch grabbed my hand and started leading me somewhere behind a pole Then I heard liceman say "What about holt girlfriend and y/n thought of any way of getting them for me?" That's when I moved a little and a body moved

Chooch grabbed to hats and put em' on us then grabbing me waist putting me against him, then after liceman did some stuff they went away and we booked it.

The next day at lunch Rodney walked away that's when me and chooch made eye contact and nodded he moved to where Rodney once was they all got up "Wait a minute" chooch said "We got soccer practice" they said "Guys just sit down, come on this is serious!" I said to them they looked surprised at me taking his side "Hey look I don't care what you guys think of me... but I don't like being blamed for something I didn't do," "Fine! May we leave now!" Hash said as I pulled him down immediately "No." I said to him "just shut up and listen." Then he started playing the tape where Rodney was talking about our plan to liceman

"Sorry chooch we really thought it was you," Oliver said "Yeah man. We didn't know" ike said to him "Yes! And we better call off the plan for soccer practice" "That's right! Now listen up. If you don't want those pictures to be out-" "You gotta make sure Ververgaert doesn't know how your gonna do it." Chooch said continuing my sentence "you got any ideas chooch?" Oliver asked as me and chooch made eye contact "What does liceman want more then anything else?" Chooch asked us "My balls" "My soul" "my ass" "Your girl and y/n!" Ike said as I looked down then up "You got it! Now, liceman wouldn't recognize her if he saw her would he?" "No" "Ok so here's what you gotta do. Butch Academy is coming her for the big dance. You have to make sure Ververgaert doesn't know what we're gonna do" "Okay okay wait. Good plan! What about y/n?" dandelion is VERY easy to befriend! it's not uncommon for them to walk up to a group of people and insert themself into the conversation easily. zero hesitation when it comes to making friends, but keeping them is more of a struggle. it's mostly up to the other person to maintain that friendship, setting up hangouts and conversations and such. dandelion has a hard time knowing when to follow-up with people, and will often forget that friendship requires actively seeking out the other person, and it's not that they're against it! they'll just probably forget unless expressly asked—

large scale changes and separation from community and familiar routines!!

being a native dreamlander through and through, dandelion doesn't like having their blissful peace being ripped away. they rely a lot on the support of those they care about and familiar routines, so getting warped to the Forgotten Land was probably the hardest challenge to face. getting zapped to a completely new place! away from their mentors! being captured by the Beast Pack?!

despite their crippling fears of the unknown, dandelion put on a brave face (chanting "it'llbeokay" over and over again) and let their optimism overpower their fears. now, even when separated from their home in dreamland, they've embraced that change and maybe, some changes aren't all that bad :]

Please Please Me: A 16yo's (horrible) album review

I Saw Her Standing There 🧍: She was just 17 apparently! Honestly I reallyyyy like the song !! She's electric and vibrant. Uber catchy and is kinda adorbs ! I'm not 17 but I shall imagine that this song captures what it's like to be 17 in some way, shape, or form ( hopefully, maybe not idk ).

Misery 💧: uh, babe it's giving break up !!! If I made a song like this all I'd hear is "God stop wallowing in self pity and get yourself back up there !!" But sometimes people need a little time to rot in their feels and I think this song is great for that !!! It's not super catchy but overall I didn't hate it. Music doesn't need to be catchy to be good >:3

Anna (Go To Him) 💍: I LOVE ITTTTTT. Man, Anna's a meanie girl ! What she did was dirttyyyyyy 😭😭 but good on the guy for letting her go and be happy even tho he couldn't be,,,, it was so sweet !! Uh anyway yeah this song is so good. I love how longing and sad it sounds. It's like if Misery and I Saw Her Standing There had a baby. It totally fits the 60's I can see it playing at a dinner or something !! Also, Anna girl, give that ring back !! 😭

Chains ⛓️: Honestly I can see myself liking this song in the future (two or three weeks from now) and it's honestly a really unique take on love that I really like. His girl's got him chained down with the chains of love !!! Not in an oppressive and controlling way but she's got him locked in !!! He loves her so much, they're connected 😣

Boys 🤷: Erm. Gay Anthem?? Don't know what to think about this one I really don't know 😭😭 talks about 'em all the time I guess??

Ask Me Why ❓: It's so cute !! I can also see this one being played at an old diner. The do-wop sound is like, addictive and supperrrr catchy. Really like this song. Kinda reminds me of A World Without Love by Peter and Gordon !!

Please Please Me 🫵: Honestly kinda forgot about her ?? After the first listen it was like I just had a fever dream. But also that might have been because I was in the car with my parents talking and I could hear them through my headphones so idk you tell me :/ but now that I've relistened to the album while writing the reviews I love this one!

Love Me Do ❤️: Don't really jive with this one :/ it's not a bad sing but it just wasn't my cup of tea !! I feel bad saying that 'cause I don't wanna be the typical teen that "only listens to catchy, simple songs" but this one just wasn't there for me the way Please Please Me and Anna were 😭😭

P.S. I Love You 💌: ITS SO CUTTTEEEEE !!!!! Was this song a precursor to All My Loving like, directly ??? If it wasn't I probably look stupid saying that but whatevs. This song is like, old and faded is a really lovely way like,,, who writes letters anymore, it's so romantic!!! The simple guitar is like, really bleeding through to me for some reason idk good job George !!!

Baby It's You 💕: 60s came through with this one. She is PUNGENT. It's giving Runaround Sue !! This one just feels like a classic.

Do You Want To Know A Secret 🫠: Elementary school yard ramped up!!! I can almost hear the children playing and yelling in the background it's so cutesy. Overall a pretty good track. Wouldn't mind hearing it again !!

A Taste of Honey 🍯: Reminds me of a song i'd hear in Rango.. hmm. I don't like this song as much as I feel I should?? Didn't quite give with me, it's just another track I guess (idk this review felt mean 😭😭)

There's a Place 🏩: Its like an amalgamation of all of the songs in the album. I'm hearing baby it's you, please please me, and literally everything else idk it's so strange

Twist and Shout 🌀: This song is iconic. There's nothing I cans at that will add or take anything away. Might be a bit overrated idk it's just me . But it's uber high energy and I like it !!

It’s an adventure because I was always tasked with capturing the chickens outside our cottage, and I always returned with scrapes and cuts from dive lunging after them. Mother always laughs whenever she thinks about child me, red in the face and huffing but proudly clutching the chicken to my chest. Although, now that I think about it... I never made the connection when I was younger…

Hallmark Mystery took to its Social Media last night to officially announce/deliver the exciting news ALL POstables (Signed, Sealed, Delivered fans) have been waiting for: "#POSTABLES, WE'RE BACK!" I captured the image above as soon as I saw it, and I may have squealed with excitement!

Hallmark shared this wonderful news with the image (above) of the main Signed, Sealed, Delivered cast - Eric Mabius, Crystal Lowe, Kristin Booth, and Geoff Gustafson - from the movie Signed, Sealed, Delivered: Home Again, and I must say, the series truly is returning to its Hallmark home - once again!

The last Signed, Sealed, Delivered film, Signed, Sealed, Delivered: The Vows We Have Made, was released in 2021, so it's been a long hiatus. Will the cast pick up where they left off—immediately after Oliver and Shane were married—or will time have gone by since then? Ironically enough, only time will tell. Certainly, there will be some changes; even the channel SSD premieres on has changed, from Hallmark Movies & Mysteries to Hallmark Mystery!

Au Revoir But Not Goodbye

In this canon divergence AU, Bunny never confronts Andrew and Laurie successfully breaks up with Ralph in chapter 14. He gets a room near the EMS after his discharge, reads his books for Oxford, and gets occasional visits from Andrew. Now that he has his ideal chaste life with plenty of time to sit alone and think, Laurie finds that all his thoughts and dreams lead back, inevitably, to Ralph 💭

For Want of a Smile

In this canon divergence AU, Laurie wasn’t invited to Sandy’s party and is reunited with Ralph seven years later than in canon. Both this fic and the fic above give Laurie a chance to have a romantic friendship with Andrew and let that relationship die a natural death. When Laurie meets Ralph again, they are both quite pleased with and proud of the careers and communities they’ve found for themselves. Rather than attempting to achieve an ideal life through a romantic relationship, they find a relationship that fits into the lives they’ve build on their own. I also managed to sneak in cameos for Maurice from Maurice and Frank from David Blaize ❤️

As Luck Would Have It

Seven years after the end of TC, Laurie runs into Andrew while waiting for a friend. He helps Andrew get some closure, goes to dinner with his friend, and then goes home with Ralph. This is a Laurie who is in love with the life he has built over the last seven years —his partner, his friends, his career, his hobbies. He is no longer a lost young man trying to escape a directionless, untethered life through dreams of ideal love as spiritual salvation. This is my personal favorite. It was extremely satisfying to write 😎

This is a summer fic I wrote in spring, inspired by conversations with my girlfriend about blooming flowers, egg sandwiches, strawberry cream cakes, queer poetry, and summer travel plans. In the fic, I tried to capture the feeling of summer’s arrival, fresh and playful like a young love, but also old and familiar, imbued with intimate, nostalgic memories 🍓

Transatlantic

This is my first attempt at an epistolary fic, featuring Ralph and Laurie exchanging letters while Ralph is away fighting the Battle of the Atlantic. I wanted to depict a long distance relationship filled with intellectual musings interspersed with accounts of daily life, an awareness of the need for discretion due to the mail being read by censors, but also a sense of complete comfort and openness in the exchange of confidences, thoughts, and feelings 💌
