red backstory headcanon(s) probably

we all know he fully blames mike for the destruction of his home, but why would he care about his home SO much? maybe he was taken in and grew up there? born there perhaps? maybe he cared so much about the people who lived there. what if they all looked after each other. they were all just this tiny community that cared about each other so much.. and one day it was all just gone.

well, not all if it. the people got out alright.. but what if red’s folks didn’t? imagine if there were people mike forgot about, or just couldn’t reach (REMEMBER, MIKE IS ONE GUY. he cant keep track of everyone + THIS GUY MIGHT’VE BEEN LIKE 16-17 AT THE TIME??). people who’ve had so many memories in their homes along with red, and who were very dear to him. and now they were gone. neither mike or red could reach them, thus he fell deep into grieving his home AND multiple people (or maybe it was just one idk).

red was now stuck in a state of grief. anger. maybe he was an impulsive guy too (another reflection of mike? I MEAN LOOK AT HIS KANECO OUTFIT!!). he’s anguished since he knows he CANNOT get them back & control the fact that they were gone now. so what better to do than take it out on the person who did it? revenge is always the best solution, right?

XD Personally, I think many of us agree he deserves to be haunted/tormented by them given that he created all those grim-walkers just to wind up killing them, just as he killed Caleb, like they are somehow the problem and not him. >:(

The drone does appear to be matching the colours it would need, and I am not quite sure what iterator it belonged to, as I didn't bother checking all those cycles ago, and the process includes purging most of the data, but I am pretty sure it isn't from one of Dreams' citizens.

Let's see...what have we got here...? Oh, we've got: stubborn blonds being stubborn, Thunderheart being a cheeky little so-and-so (her "my power is overflowing" bit was so much fun to write, especially Orange taking it literally like the autistic child he is XD) and Platinum putting her foot down and not taking Pearl's nonsense...plus Diamond being both perceptive as always and confused, as well as sorta kinda still not being over the fact that Pearl used to smack him really hard. Takes place post-Platinum arc, hence Pearl and Orange being incredibly traumatized and struggling with getting a restful night's sleep because of it (Pearl trying to take a nap at 12:26 PM should tell you that this kid ain't okay, not one bit, even though he tries to deny it). If you want more context, just let me know and I will elaborate further. I had fun creating this chaos and I hope to do it again soon XD

He might be. Maybe. He would be thrilled to hear her ask who he is, heh. For as much as he balances her serious, responsible personality out, she balances him out as well. Sure Malina can be a little. . . uptight, but she's also shown him the importance of taking himself more seriously, and making a conscious effort to treat others the way he'd like to be treated. It's a big step from the way he used to live his life. He and the kingdom! has her to thank for that. 'For the time being'. Hopefully, that'll change soon to forever, but. He'll take the 'time being' for now. Kuzco is too busy watching her with a lovestruck grin, drinking in the sight of her in the Empress robes for the last time (at least tonight, ahem) to catch what she initially says before she's striding across the room to meet him. When it does finally register he snorts, playfully rolling his eyes. "Forgive me, your Highness-- I wouldn't have wanted to seem insubordin--" He doesn't get a chance to finish before she kisses him, and he chuckles against her lips as he all but melts into it. 'Yes! Good touchy.' Servants, maids or the council-- who cares. They could be standing right next to them, and he wouldn't even flinch. Kuzco lets his eyes slip closed as his hands cradle the back of her head, content with letting her control the kiss for the time being, and thoroughly enjoying his reward. If he doesn't leave soon, he might never leave; and as he tugs her closer against his chest, he struggles to remember why exactly that would be a problem in the first place.

Aww, is Kuzco still jealous? He doesn't need to anymore, she's staring to babble often at him too. Who's that Ramon again? As much as she likes to take care of others, she admits Kuzco's right. Taking care of oneself is not a crime sometimes. She's so grateful towards him for helping her see life in another perspective. Less stressy, more relaxy. Kuzco balances out Malina's responsible, kind of serious personality by making her learn there's some fun in life too. Malina blinks at the way he regarded her as she remembers that the day's not over. Maybe all that work made her lose track of time. Her lips curl into another smug grin as she removes one of her hands from his but still holds it with her other one.

This is the one time she has wanted him to be selfish and gave him the opportunity and he rejects it. Now that makes her lov-like him just a bit more.

"Ok then, sweetie. Then I shall remain your Empress for the time being". Malina grins back while he kisses the back of her hand, making her heart skip several beats as she tries not to blush. She drops her hand once he lets go and her eyes follow him until he stops at the door. Important servant things. Hah, alright alright, she ought to dismiss him so he can rest, however, she won't let him go before he gets a reward himself. which he must know what it is.

"What, you're leaving before giving your Empress a goodnight kiss? What kind of servant are you?" She states and walks again towards him. And without caring if there are other servants and maids around, she grabs his jaw with both hands and brings his lips to hers, she sighs happily before being the one this time to deepen the kiss.
