Considering that we're gonna be entering Natlan in the next nation of genshin. I have a few words I wanna say on it.

On one hand, I'm so happy we're finally gonna see Capitano and learn about all the new lore, ect!

But on the other hand, I'm really nervous on what hoyoverse is going to be doing with the people in the nation considering the treatment with Sumeru and the fact that Natlan is inspired off of West African cultures and Latin America.

But considering the character designs of Vannessa and Iansan, I have some(what) faith in hoyo (fingers crossed!)

My favourite part about ‘morally grey’ characters by FAR is like. The dichotomy between who they are and who they’re trying to be. Does their moral compass naturally point to Good, but they’re trying desperately to abandon their morals in order to survive?? Or are they so broken down already that it’s naturally pointing to Evil, even as they consciously try to do The Right Thing?? Idk but either way it is AMAZING to read (when done justice ofc).

"I want to be a bird." the fawn said, laying in the dew covered grass and staring longingly up at the sky. She watched the black silhouettes of birds playing with each other up in the clouds. 

But you aren't. You're a deer.

It didn't feel right, though. Being a deer was wrong. Not in itself, of course, but for her.

She always tried to play with the birds whenever she saw them, only for them to take flight in fear at a much larger animal rushing at them. They didn't know that the fawn, too, was one of them.

It wasn't fair, she thought.

She wanted to fly with them. She wanted to be a part of their flock.

Sometimes she could feel her wings. And when she did, the fawn would jump so high, only to come crashing back down to earth. She'd try again. She always did. And again. And again. But she never flew. 

Her wings didn't work. They weren't really there, after all. But the fawn would always hope. Maybe one day they'd be real.

She shook her head, looked at her herd, then back at the birds. 

"I'm a bird. I just know I am."

Currently watching: Hawaii Five-0 — Steve and his husband are currently stranded at sea on an inflatable raft and having another of their infamous fights. I have no idea why or what’s going on otherwise, I literally just tuned in.

Last movie: The Horse Whisperer — Don’t let the title fool you! It runs 162 minutes and in all that time nobody even does as much as talk to the horse, much less tries to whisper to it. 0/10 wouldn’t recommend

Currently reading: I’m trying to catch up on everyone’s OC longfics!! Rn I’m busy with @adelaidedrubman’s Wildfire (at least until I’m all caught up on it) and then I’ll probably continue with @henbased’s Of A Feather. Actually, everyone drop your Far Cry OC origin story fics in the comments, please! ♡ I’ve been wanting to read them but was previously lacking focus to do so.

Currently craving: To be with my date mate again. Things have been hectic this week so we don’t really get much time to see each other and I miss him 😩 Since we’re talking about missing people: I miss my brothers sm too! I really am craving to be more among people. It’s killing me.
