The concert tickets were sold on Damai so you need a CN number or know/pay someone with one who'd buy it for you which is what I did by recommendation (A tier 1280 + 400 'service fee' [apparently it would have been cheaper if they only helped you half way or something but i wasnt gonna risk running into a payment hiccup so]) Iirc they sold it in two batches but I don't remember the ratio split between first and second wave…

I got a ticket for 5/5's afternoon show (so the second last performance), I DID meet an oomf who said they managed to snag a ticket for themselves on their own (without a Professional Ticket Snatcher) so its not too impossible to attain on your own I think??? (I didn't get a CN number until like 2 days before I flew back home soo)

Uhhh apparently there's a whole industry/scene for this you look for listings on xianyu/taobao etc for people to buy on your behalf, you have to give them your real name and identification number (so for foreigners it'd be your passport number) for verification purposes during entry so yknow yea

You could cab directly to the venue but my friend signed us up for the free shuttle bus (they had freebies last year but not this time) and before we boarded they gave us like free water and bread (apparently free raincoats too on rainy days) which was nice of them but also insane because. the venue doesn't allow you to bring food/drinks in so a lot of people were leaving A LOT of unopened bottles near the gate and I saw a venue staff just throwing them all into the bin (HOPEFULLY JUST TO CARRY THEM AWAY IN ONE GO AND NOT FOR STRAIGHT DISPOSAL….) They drop you off near the venue but you don't go in directly, there's a 'Doctor break room' where most people are seated waiting to be ushered in batches into the venue, but also a lot of people standing around on one side of the room swapping/offering merch

ive been told this is a very concert culture thing but i feel like its kind of different because a lot of these are so high quality ike…you could sell them at Artist Alleys but here they are just distributing for free if you have a E2 60 blorbo lmao or whatever (there seems to be a tiny…? minority that prints official art but most of them seem to be handdrawn/made)

i was too unprepared for this lol i did exchange some of my old stickers (missed out on a collapsal plastic fan bc my brain lagged when the guy asked me and i went to my auto 'sorry i dont have any merch' response' :( regretted this bc the room got a little hot from the amount of people in there and i was wearing like 3 layers with that fan on my mind)

from people watching a lot of trades are arranged beforehand on weibo/other sites unless you're willing to yell WHO WANTS TO TRADEEE/anyone wants freebies (a lot of people were also wearing 'Feel Free to Swap Merch/Ask for Freebies' tags) which i was definitely not brave enough to do lol… met up with an oomf i got to know from last dec when i attended an arknights only and they gave me some birbs and charms (bottom of post), there was someone who got a free LGD zine and charm from me bc i posted on wb that id give a free copy to anyone with a Mod 3 swire/swummer LMFAO

I had 2 more people to meet but, uhhh so I bought an esim for mobile data and it would intermittently lose signal here and there which was a little annoying when getting coffee but it just died entirely when i reached the venue and it was kind of Dire because i was waiting for one more friend who was coming over from the fes and i couldn't contact them lmao. told the friend i came with to go in first because I thought if my food got confiscated at least my oomf could see it beforehand LOL

waited outside in a light drizzle for an hour trying to trouble shoot my data to no avail and ended up borrowing a staff's wifi hotspot to get my entry qr code (I actually bought a second data roaming plan on my local sim but i quite stupidly did not check the country coverage and only learned later that night that 'Asia' doesn't cover China kuxiao) she was so nice i was (bow emoji) so sorry to trouble you im a stupid gaijin and she was like no its ok enjoy shanghai!! pien

The live singing this year was definitely an improvement I think… I can't really remember the setlist off the top of my head but I'm sure someone else has already listed it out, there were a couple of new pieces that weren't related to the concert groups like a Babel/Kazdel?? one sung in Latin, a Victoria…? one (in victorian ofc) also an Amiya (? just remembering by the visuals they used lol) one in Japanese

ohh yeah so almost every track would start with like a faction logo transitioning in from 3d to 2d which was cool but also amusing because it was honestly bringing quite the 'I will Make Your Company Logo Into 3D Fiverr' vibes

Since I missed the first piece idk if any of The Dreamer(s) got 3D models but The Pilgrim(s why are they all singular) had Kaltsit playing on that piano (there was also a replica of that piano on stage the white one complete with 'Arknights' text on it lmao) and Siege being cool running around in 3D (and ofc Eureka during her denpa number) it was very cool but man... its a pity the other characters in the group just get their live2d png during the beginning and effectively get sidelined lool compared to say Phenomenal Agents idk if i like this tradeoff but that eureka bit was so good sheesh #NOVAFIVE⭐ULTRALIVESWEEP

The other stuff was really great too looking at you Lone Trail medley…!!!!! I might be wrong but I... assume... you're encouraged to karaoke bc they always show the lyrics on screen… I couldn't even hear myself anyway but it was very fun singing songs you can't get on joysound/etc with a whole crowd going at it too (even if most of them would only sing 1-2 lines of the chorus)

Mary Clare did Radiant (they had the lyrics scrolling on the sides very cool) and iirc the Throne group's song...? Radiant was so fun live

Starset did Monster > Telescope and when the latter ended they were like Bye! and we(?) started yelling ENCORE--awkwardly because idk how they do it here (I was half expecting it to be JP style 'an-call-roo' but a bunch of us just yelled en-core en-core here and there until they returned to perform Infected) speaking of yelling.. between every piece when they had to switch sets people would just yell memes or skill names (like Dage's) to pass the time or sth i barely caught half of whatever they were memeing about

did i forget to mention anything else uhhh originium rock turntable for Guide Ahead's boss theme/Dossoles Lobby and they had IS4 medley live throat singing very cool also the dancers they got for silbenherze's boss theme good stuff...

no but seriously, it highkey depends on 1. your definition of good and 2. your tolerance for stupid bullshit. as someone who read tlt and then hs, i'd say that being a fan of the chaotic aspect of tlt is a good predictor of being able to hang in with homestuck.

readmore because this. um. got long. the tl;dr is: i like homestuck a lot and i am glad i read it. i can't tell you if you should read it bc idk your tastes, but there is a lot to like and enjoy about it.

the official pitch for homestuck is something like "4 kids play a game and then a bunch of other shit happens." here's my pitch based on what the core of the story is to me:

several groups of characters across time, space, and reality are brought together in order to succeed at creating a new universe after their own are destroyed. this takes the form of a game, which is called sburb (by the humans) and sgrub (by the trolls). the characters must contend with an eternal battle against good and evil in which they are the deciding factor, and level up while following personalized quests. at its heart, homestuck is about relationships of every sort and how they shape us, growing up and the associated grief and loss, coming into ones identity and choosing who to be, predestination and fate, and stories themselves. it gets very meta at times, and the characters are semi to fully aware that they're characters, and attempt to subvert or escape that. it's got hordes of fleshed out, compelling characters, one of which will almost certainly glom onto you for the rest of your life, real emotion, extremely funny jokes, smart and exciting plotting, and some very cool moments. it more or less invented an entire new genre/medium, and plays with medium in a very cool way.

it is also clunky, hard to get into, and way too convoluted. you will never fully understand what's happening. there are tons of characters whose stories you will follow whom you simply do not care about. there are too many characters. it was written by an edgelord in 2009 so there's some unsavory humor and character writing. it's so fucking long. the ending kinda sucks because the fandom was so toxic that hussie simply wanted it over with. the fandom still kinda sucks tbh. so many people have wrong opinions about it. it requires a very specific lens to approach and understand it. i still dont understand what happened with that fucking puppet someone explain it to me.

overall, i'd say that if you think you want to read it, give it a shot. i have a complicated relationship with it but at the end of the day, i genuinely love the story and the characters and i know they will be with me forever. it certainly enhanced my understanding of tlt, and getting to read more of tamsyn's writing was such a bonus (even though her taste in pairings is. not the same as my own). and like honestly. it's just fun. even when you're going "wait what the fuck just happened" you're having fun. it's really goddamn funny too. it WILL change the way you speak and also think about romance forever.

the best way to read it is to have an experienced reader guide you, but if you or other people don't know anyone like that, here are my basic tips:

i think most people know this already, but download the unofficial homestuck collection. just do it. it's like 4 gigs and it's infinitely better than trying to read on the broken website, and it's even ad free. it can also be modded - for instance ik there's a slur replacer mod (lmao) if you don't want to read those

act 1 sucks to read. you're like what the fuck is this, THIS is homestuck?? the beginning is radically different from how it ends up, so just hang in there. for me, it really picked up somewhere in act 3. just focus on the silly fun the characters are having and you'll be good

things you should actually try to follow in the early acts: the concept of a sylladex existing (the various fetch modi are only there for jokes and eventually just kinda stop being a thing), where all the copies of the game are, what each kid's relationship with their guardian is like, the mechanics of the game and the lore behind it, including classpects and quests

things you do not have to waste brain space on: anything about how the totems work, what the various machines are, what the levels are, basically any of the jokes that would be funny to hussie's original intended audience of software engineers and rpg gamers. oh and the intermission with the midnight crew and the felt, just know that those are guys that exist and you'll be good.

and the biggest tip i have is just. go with it. suspend your disbelief. a lot of the worldbuilding doesn't really make sense, but it would be a worse story if it did. when the time shit and ectobiology come into play, literally just go ok got it and keep going, don't think too hard.

so yeah i don't even know if any of this is useful but i hope it helps you decide. and if you or anyone else have follow up questions send em!

For those awaiting an answer on one of my more recent posts, and whether I'll be leaving, here it is. .....Under the cut, as it, in my usual fashion, gets lengthy, you can skip to the end for a TL:DR :)

I'm not going to leave tumblr/simblr, I'll be floating around and still liking people's posts, I'm probably gonna unfollow some people (not my mutuals ofc ilya) just because it's hard to keep up with my dash when I get over 10 notifications every 2 minutes or so especially when if I'm not going to primarily consume Sims 4 content. I'm going to put my mods folder into my external HDD, in order to preserve them ykwim, and I'm going to uninstall TS4, I'll try to make one more sim before the sims 4 gets poofed off my laptop, although as it stands even after freeing up 20 GBs of space, my space went back down to 400 MBs so 😭😭 I will probably be posting variety content, even though I know all my followers are primarily Sims content consumers (some of ya'll do other stuff, but I mean as a whole, my audience tends to be more Sims 4 related), I might play and share some of my Sims 1 content, which is not story oriented, it's just a little gameplay of Roo in the Sims 1 :) I'll also probably post Baldur gate stuff (if I can free up the storage for it LMAO), I'll post witcher content maybe, and plenty of other things, and like I said, I'll continue to float around, and I'll continue to reblog any Sims content I see and enjoy... as well as other things. .... So what about W.A.S? Yea. I dont know, while W.A.S IS supposed to be a fleshed out story, and while I know I AM leaving sims 4 behind, completely limiting what I can and cannot make story-wise (just cuz I don't know how to make scenes and stuff lmao), I will ATTEMPT to make W.A.S content, I will still make and post the Official teaser, and I'll probably introduce the characters myself sometime after the teaser (I'll take screenshots in CAS and just hope my storage doesn't dip TOO low). I may release some of the story in just text form, as I do really want to continue to post about the story. I'll try to come up with something tho, don't worry :)

I may also start getting back into art, I still need some hobby to preoccupy my time that isn't gaming, I will still do blender stuff (since I have a bunch of my Sims' DAEs) and I will maybe make more edits, but regardless, I still enjoy art and Sims 4 kinda consumed the time that I wanted to spend doing art, soooo yeah.

For the unrooleased tag, I have a bunch of sims that I've never posted, as well as renders that I've never posted, and I may, as Sims 4 filler, post those to fill the void that will become my Sims 4 content

and FINALLY. LAST THING I promise :) I know all of ya'll LOVE Roo, and I do want to reinforce the fact that ROO IS NOT A SIMS CHARACTER, I did NOT make him originally from the Sims, if you were at any point worried I would stop posting about him, I will not be, I will continue to share about Roo, probably with a lot less pictures considering I really only used TS4 as a visual assistant for his story, I do have his DAEs, so I can make SOME Roo blender content, albeit limited with Scenes and stuff. Roo is a character that I will continue to be passionate about, I never mentioned this but I LOVE to make Roo in pretty much every game I play (besides Skyrim................ and ofc games where u dont have customization), like Animal Crossing, I made a variant of Roo there, and in Stardew! You get the point, he will always be a prominent figure of my content. I may also bring back some characters I made from TS4, like Nirvana, I LOVE her character and would LOVE to continue to post about her, as well as Roo's family, I love posting about his family members and sharing their own story and what importance they are to Roo.

WOW, okay that was a lot, if you're skipping here for a clear answer, or a sort of TL:DR, here ya go, I don't want to leave tumblr, so I won't, and I won't necessarily leave the Simblr ring, TS4 is going to be uninstalled, but I WILL preserve my TS4 mods in my external HDD, and be on the look out for the last sim I make in TS4 :)

Half Life has rewired my brain

Half Life's 25th has completely shattered the notion that these games are just a fun interest i have and enjoy 100%ing and has proven its a full on hyperfixation. The energy has been steadily building ever since the announcement a few days ago, and now that its the 19th, i feel like im going insane. These games mean SO much. Theyre so interesting. The characters are so fun. The expanded world is so neat. I too have felt the pain of Half Life's cliffhanger.

This anniversary update feels fake. This is so much more than i expected. Of course theyd celebrate their big hitter turning 25, but a whole update to the original game? Thats so much MORE. They made Uplink easily accessible! People can play Uplink whenever they want now! They added new MULTIPLAYER MAPS?? They updated the game for new systems and the Steam Deck so more people can play it! (And theyre phasing out HL:Source as the 'main' version and hiding its visibility on steam, LMAO)

These images feel fake. But theyre real! And it feels incredible! I never thought id see the day.

Starting about a year ago i went on a quest to 100% every Half Life game and mod that existed and had steam achievements. I love 100%ing games, and Half Life seemed like an easy answer. And the games just.. grew on me. I was already a fan of Portal, and i had played the full HL series for the first time in one big sitting a few years before. But this made me dive DEEP into the series. and i LOVE it. it makes me go crazy. Ive put so much time into these games. I got The One Free Bullet in HL2E1 on my first playthrough. I did the Gnome run in HL2E2. I started a Gnome run in Alyx as my first playthrough (although i havent played that in a while, VR is exhausting, but i want to get back to it so i can play the other VR mods) I got the Hat AND Pizza achievement at the SAME TIME in Black Mesa. Ive 100%'d Portal and Portal 2's challenge chambers, Entropy Zero and 2 on hard, all sorts of things. These games have grabbed me. My profile is dedicated to displaying the hardest HL achievements i have. and im so happy to have this one on display now too. To honor this silly, wonderful series.

Sebastian Fic: So this is actually my first ever longfic that I started like... two years ago now. I've never posted it and I'm glad I haven't because I've definitely learned a lot since then lol. It's huge, like 80,000 words and only 2/3 complete. It's based on the lore of the expanded mod, with magic and monsters being lowkey real. It's a dual POV with Sebastian and my farmer Blaire, both are broken af. It started as a thought experiment of wondering what my farmer was going through when I decided to dump Leah for Sebastian, so it literally starts with her divorcing Leah lol. It's dark and messy and smutty. And the wizard is sort of the antagonist. I don't plan on posting it, but it's been the basis for a ton of Stardew Valley headcanons I use in a bunch of my other fics to this day.

Cars Fic: CARS FIC MY BELOVED. Cars Fic is a meme among friends because I got so obsessed right after I started my Zelink fic. But since I can only do one big longfic at a time, I have to yearn for the Cars indefinitely. It's Human AU, Doc x Lightning. I WILL write it. Just as soon as I'm done with Zelink. I need these gays to end up together so badly.

Bubbline: Marceline x Bubblegum modern coffee shop AU, Marceline is still lowkey a vampire, rich af predatory lesbian type she will kill you with her Louis Vuitton. But she likes the little coffee shop owner enough to keep her alive, she's amusing.

ove 24 hours for no reason other than i was waking up and going to bed too late and it was freaking me out (i was worried i would get depressed) (now i am worried i will get manic) (its fine though im doing normal right now)

anyway i guess technically speaking its the sims 4 (with so many fucking mods). thats the video game i play the most and the most consistently. it is not a good game though. ive been playing the sims since the sims 2 (i didnt own it i would go to my sisters godmothers house and do nothing buy play the sims 2 until i would close my eyes and see the sims 2 and id be like i need an intervention and then go swimming in their pool bc they were rich and had one) and i got the sims 3 for christmas (no expansion packs because i didnt know what those were) and the sims 4 has so much less charm. and way fewer traits. and now theyve added 3 new trait slots you can unlock through gameplay which is cool and clearly theyve realised bc of that they need more traits as evidenced by how many traits are in for rent but like even if you only had 3 traits there shouldve been way more traits added like there should have been traits with every pack. including stuff packs and game packs idgaf. and more aspirations each with their own reward traits. also i dont like the single stage but really difficult aspirations that feels like lazy game design they wanted to make aspirations something progressive your sim could change and they shouldve stuck with that and made the higher stages more difficult instead of basically doing sims 3 aspirations again. and on the topic of that your sims should get whims to change aspirations based on your behaviour. wants. whatever. and also the fact that they keep adding new base game features and then never integrating any packs into it. fuck off. most of the packs in the sims 4 dont have sentiments or fears associated with them. like. really? and obviously i cant speak to how good it was in previous games because as previously stated i found out about the concept of an expansion pack after i stopped playing the sims 3 (or maybe it was when ea bought maxis and changed the loading screento a minigame advertising packs that i didnt realise was a minigame for like a year minimum) but you would think with a game that is meant to simulate life that sells you different aspects of it they would add cross pack compatibility. well theres barely any. its shallow and jejune.

but yeah i enjoy the sims.

i also really like minecraft but when my computer got hacked they got my windows account so i no longer have minecraft. will need to buy it again. oh i also loved animal crossing new leaf with my whole entire heart and desperately DESPERATELY want to play new horizons. though im disappointed in how few gyroids there are in the game compared to new leaf apparently. i used to like pokemon but i fell off with sword and shield after seeing the crunch.

i want to branch out into less 'casual' games. i got fallout new vegas for free and ive just. had it. not played it. ive heard a lot about it and i like a lot of what ive heard about the fallout games but im soscared im bad at viddy games :(

Jack_BadCat (me) was falsely banned by him. He was really grasping at straws just to get me out of HF entirely due to me being, and I quote… “abrasive, aggressive, rude, and seemingly instigating drama for no reason, even when situations don’t pertain to you.”

And, here, I quote, are the main reasons I got pushed into that ban:

“most of what I do is me speaking for other’s behalf not my own cuz honestly I have been treated like a queen on here (I say while my name is GREEN)” Which was partially true at the time due to how I was very good at fighting back with the staff in reports, tickets, concerns, etc. and knew the rules so well I was almost untouchable at one point.

“also my 2 other warnings/mutes were both mistakes from the staff’s end but they still counted anyways”

The thing is that… we were friends prior as well? Which made it sting even more when it came from him. For a while I believed he took it because he thought it’d lightened the blow to see a friendly/familiar face, or that he was told to do it because we were on friendly terms and just copy n pasted what someone else had written. But now looking back… nah he was just an asshole. He was very weird and usually only hung out with the girls there which were almost always minors, while being pretty distanced with members who were older/guys. It just… rubs me the wrong way on so many levels.

I was going to send all the screenshots but tumblr SUCKS with images so like…. yeah, if anything ill make a little youtube video on it if anything. (And this is me not even mentioning the whole Noodles fiasco LMAO) 

mod edit: I’ve heard 3 people talk about the girls thing and as someone who talked to him alot maybe i just dont see it since i was kinda involved, but i never pegged him as the malicious or predatory type while talking and its been years so while its good to keep that part in mind unless someone steps forward take it lightly, id take even this mod edit lightly it’s just my own observation

So I might be trying to write the role swap au you so kindly graced this hellsite with. I will ofcourse credit u for everything but FIRST I need some opinions on some ideas

1, would Lloyds power be over wind?

If so I have some ideas about where his character could go ;3

As for his antagonist role, I can think of a few ways he may end up in the services of the preeminent. But considering morro being his cousin and caring about him, either Lloyd would take one of the other ninja or he’d take morro to “protect him” or smthn

2, EMs of fire and water. Imma say for now their sisters. One of them was skylors late mom and the other voluntary gave her powers to Bentho (Skylor and bentho be indirect siblings let’s goo! I can already imagine some cute dynamics between the two)

3, How unagami got his powers is probably similar to how jays family history worked out. Orphaned and adopted at a young age. But something I wanted to explore was how he discovered his powers (I’m thinking that he and bentho found out their powers to a certain degree before garm found em) and that he helped his dad design games and maybe building his own games! Like Hotwiring a game cartridge to mod a game like an emulator lmao. And when that translated into his training, he ended up unintentionally frying a lot of the electronics cause he wasn’t used to using his powers at a voltage like that xD

4, Pixel is an interesting case. As I’m not sure if she should gain her powers in the same way as Zane. But that reminds me of Zane’s power source! I think Borg would spend a lot of time constructing a suitable power source for pixel (probably in seclusion to avoid unwanted onlookers) and borg would meet the master of ice before pixel was even fully built. Borg would take in the EM of ice and talk all about how his daughter was going to “protect those who couldn’t protect themselves” and yadayada and the EM of ice is like “Yaknow what, sounds cool” and casually passes on his powers into the special power source, which when hooked up into pixel fully transfers the powers of ice to her! Thought she doesn’t discover or use them until she meets garmadon.

5, Vania is a bit of a tougher one. I think Vangelis in this would be a dancing instructor, but Moreso Ballet in style. And he would push Vania to pursue a career in Ballet, even though she had a tendency to enjoy running around in the outdoors much like her mother. I also imagine that she, much like her show personality, would have a little collection of pet rocks (cause I say so) and then later in the story her and cole would geek out about collections and overall cinnamon roll overlode.

6, I REALLY wanna incorporate Harumi into this with a different role so Yaknow what, here’s an idea, she swaps with ronin! Becomes a schemer and traveling ‘merchant’ and everything. And ronin is the tragic little boy who loses his parents to the devourer and gets adopted by the royal family. And instead of a romantic subplot between him and morro (not a destiny shipper myself) they have a bonding moment and become close friends quickly, mostly sharing about how rough life can be (morro discussing his own ordeal with his family) and then yada yada friendship betrayal! Maybe I’ll enhance their relationship more and have morro see him as an older brother figure almost. WHO KNOWS I SURE DONT :D

Thank you so much!!! I'm so excited you love this AU!!!!

1, Lloyd's power is no power. I had thought about making him the wind em but it just doesn't make sense as he is Garm's son.

So I definitely need to rewatch possession to get a better idea of what happens but here's what I'm thinking so far: Lloyd runs away to go to the temple of airjitzu in the hopes of learning it will make him more powerful and gets turned into a ghost. He then winds up with the Preeminent and while there hears about a green ninja saving Ninjago. He and his ghost buddies go to find him. Lloyd is very shocked and surprised to find out it's Morro. He decides to possess him and carry on with the plan (while being gentle with his little cousin of course) with the new motivation of maybe not letting a 14-year-old be the destined savior of the world. Season probably ends with Morro talking Lloyd down and getting him to see he was wrong. Lloyd, not believing he can be redeemed, sacrifices himself like cannon Morro.

2, Oh! I like this idea! I don't currently have anything for the previous em of water so I'll definitely try to use that! I don't have any idea who she is rn, maybe I'll make an oc. If you have any ideas definitely send them my way!

3, So for Unagami, I'm thinking whoever the previous em of lightning died when Unagami was very little. Because of this, he's had his element for as long as he can remember and doesn't notice some fairly obvious signs he has it. I imagine he was always really good at Snap Circuits as a kid and played with them all the time. He was almost too good at it. I think now he's really good at messing around with wires and electricity sort of stuff, he just kinda knows where the electric current is and where it's going. He probably does hotwire stuff a lot lol. When he started training with his powers Garm was describing how the lightning element works and little Unagami's like "Wait, that's just me???".

Bentho was given his element pretty recently compared to the others, probably around season 1 time. After he got it he didn't know what it was and spent a bit of time figuring it out. It was pretty obvious, kind of like if the air was suddenly different. He tried to train with it but it wasn't very easy as he didn't have a teacher and nearly knew what his power was. He tried again to undermine Kalmaar and failed again, he got pretty roughed up and took refuge on the surface where he met the ninja. Kalmaar thinks he's dead.

4, Ok ok so Pixal, I think that the previous em of ice was actually a relative of Borg, like an uncle or something. So when he dies without an heir Pixal was just created and was picked to be the next em of ice. Neither of them knew about this until Garm came.

Pixal does have a special power source that Borg made for her but that was just so she wouldn't have to charge someplace, her element doesn't have anything to do with that as that annoys me in cannon lol.

5, So Vangelis is a differently limiting parent than Lou in cannon. He's overprotective of Vania and doesn't let her go out and do a lot of stuff, which has led to her innocent personality. She likes to collect as many nature items as she can on the occasion she's allowed to go adventuring and has a small collection of "pet rocks". Vangelis is a high-profile dance professor at Marty Oppenheimer School of Performing Arts and spends a lot of his time on that.

When MOTM comes around Vania and Cole totally bond over their dorky nature collections, much fluffy for them! (Purely platonic btw, they besties)

6, Oh yes I love that idea!!! Harumi being a sneaky, manipulative "merchant" and Ronin being a little sad boi prince and friends with Morro!!! I imagine Morro and Harumi's relationship would be kind of like Ezra and Hondo's from Rebels (I hope people get that lol). Morro always trying to see the best in her to everyone else's suspicions! I love the friendship betrayal too, still a lot of trust that was broken and huge emotional impact.

Take Your Goddamn Shoes off! Gameplay Mod

a simple mod I made after watching the lil paralives Sebastian (great name btw) dude take off his shoes in the trailer and everyone proceeded to lose their minds. I know there is another mod for taking shoes off but it works automatically as soon as the sim enters the house.

I like to play with more realism mods so this gives u custom shoe racks that have the option to simply put on and take off shoes! Works on all ages.

so your PTs are missing from your sims’ family trees? how to fix with simPE!

DISCLAIMER: i figured this out myself messing around with simPE and i’ve only been playing around with this programme for a few months so i’m not fantastic with it... but this is how i fixed my PTs and alien sims when i accidentally opened my hood with no cc.and therefore no multiPT mod... 

first. backup your hood!! back ! that! shit ! up!!!! we will call this backup 1. i backup my hood by right clicking and selecting the winrar option ‘add to N006.rar′ and rename to the date usually but this time. fixPTtutorial. no excuses for not backing up! 

now that you’ve backed up let’s get into it!

things you need: sims 2 (duh), hood checker, simPE, a bit of patience!

!! you need to run hood checker first and allow it to delete the broken family ties otherwise simPE will get an error when you try to open your alien sims’ family ties !!

when i broke my PTs i ‘fixed’ it in a way where i just removed the borked relationship using hood checker and then manually removed a broken memory from the two sims who had been abducted.. they basically had a memory like ‘met unknown sim’ and it kept showing up in hood checker like ‘sim does not exist’ but hood checker couldn’t/wouldn’t delete it. so probably do that first.. it should be somewhere close to the abduction memory. just open the sim’s description, select more>open memories, and slowly scroll through until you find the broken memory and remove it. commit the change.

my original process for this was a little more fiddly because i didn’t know of this trick pointed out to me by curiousb and found by mootilda here that makes it so simPE should show the multiPT’s names and portraits. if you follow this then you can skip to ‘part 2′ 

Part 0

find your multiPT files in your downloads and COPY them (not move) from downloads into your hood’s ‘characters’ folder. for me that’s sims 2>N006>Characters. this will make it so that simPE can show the names of the PTs and if portraits are generated it can also display portraits

look at my guys all hanging out.. you do want to leave them in the downloads folder so that they’ll be added as PTs to any new hoods created but you’ll also have to copy and paste them into all your hoods’ characters folders if you want to see their info in simPE... now you can skip forward to Part 2 because you don’t need to do the step where you identify each PT (unless their portraits don’t show in simPE) it could still be beneficial to read through Part 1 because i don’t go into as much detail in Part 2 on how to add the family ties but you won’t have to do the STEPS in Part 1

Part 1

the multiPT mod PTs are listed in simPE as ‘unknown’ which makes it hard to figure out which is which. for me apollo (born after the cc-less game disaster) had the same PT as ujin and arina so i could easily just add them to this PT’s family tree. for my other alien sim i just guessed and added her to a random PT because i don’t even remember who her PT is lmao.

if you don’t have any sims born since the family tree break/you don’t want to just add them to random PTs like i did with eunji you’re gonna have to do a trial run. (please backup your hood before u start, ive already warned u!!!!) by simply adding one sim to each of the PT’s family trees, opening your game and checking the family tree to see the portrait and noting down which PT you linked to which sim. this will probably be quicker if the test sims are all from the same household. i also think it is best to choose non alien sims as test sims just so they can stay on the family tree until you’re fully finished fixing your aliens!

NOW adding a family tie is relatively simple. open the PT’s family ties. from the dropdown menu at the top make sure its set to ‘[all households]’ and scroll down until you find the party of unknowns hanging out with toddler new year (if they’re located in the same place as mine...)

next locate your test sims on the left (i think this will be easier if you DONT use your aliens because that way when you’re adding the correct family ties you won’t have to remove the test sims until you’re sure you’ve got all the right PTs) right click on them and click on ‘add [sims name]’ (my simPE cuts this pop up off but i assume the end is like to family or something..) the default relationship will be sibling

for the sake of the test sims it doesn’t really matter what the relationship is set to because we just want them to show up on the family tree. hit commit in the bottom right and repeat for all your PTs (i’m just doing 3 here because my other PTs already have their family ties fixed.) commit any changes and close simPE make sure you save the hood before you close/as you close

!! now backup your hood AGAIN (this is backup 2) !! with the PT family ties edited but don’t replace backup 1. this secondary backup is just so you can safely open your game with no cc so it’ll load quicker. we’ll be restoring this backup immediately after we check the family trees in game.

you can now remove most of your cc from your downloads but make sure your multiPT mods are still in there! all of them! i have a few folders i always leave in my downloads and my multiPT mod is in one of these. i learnt my lesson! they might look something like this:

launch your game and see how quickly it loads w/ no cc and wonder why you subject yourself to a 45 minute load time when things could be so much quicker... and now we can see which PT is which! and also that hilariously one of my PTs is called ‘Pollination Last Name’ lmao??? and we can laugh at how silly my sims look without cc. ALSO i was confused why there were 5 ‘unknown’ sims in my hood but the unknown sim i added to frankie’s family tree didn’t show anything in game so i’m still non the wiser for what that unknown file is (also it’s gone from the family ties menu now and crashes frankie’s family tree so i’m ASSUMING it’s a remote control car cc that i’ve since deleted.. luckily i backed up my game so it doesn’t matter). but moving on

!! RESTORE back up 2 !! so the cc-less hell you just created is gone but you still have the family ties we just created

Part 2

open simPE and you can start adding your actual alien sims to the right PT’s family tree the same way you added the test sims. (select the PTs family ties, locate the alien sim on the left, right click and add to family tree) but this time choosing child ! this will add PT as the alien sim’s Parent B.. which since i don’t have any alien sims that need fixing right now just gives my test sims two parent bs

once you’ve added all your alien sims to the correct family trees you can remove the test sims. you’ll need to do this on both the PT’s family tree AND the test sim’s family tree to properly remove the relationship! 

commit all changes and save your hood! the last step is just a little bit of garnish if u like. i don’t think it’s necessary and what we’ve done up until now should fix the family tree with no issues. so this can be Optional.

Part 3

when an alien sim is born the game by default sets the PT to ‘know’ the parent sim and has the child sim set to ‘family’ like this (ALSO when i was looking at an old backup of my hood before i borked my PTs.. the PTs get memories of their child too like my PT had a memory of ujin being an over achiever in school......... it’s so sweet...... i’m not fixing that shit tho i don’t have the patience) 

to do this correctly for each PT select their family ties so you can see which parents and children you need to add relation to. then right click on the PT on the left and choose ‘open sim description’ i assume it’s description,, again,, simPE is cutting off this menu

choose ‘relations’ select the family of the sims you want to add and make sure ‘not related’ is ticked to have the sims show up. for this test we need to add saeed as ‘known’ since he’s the parent and georgia as ‘family’ since she’s the child

this is super easy! just right click on the sim and choose ‘add relation to’ 

the default relation settings need to be changed however. for the child i had to change spouses to parent. untick known and only tick family on both boxes and change not defined to child. i’m not sure why it said spouses.. idk if i accidentally changed that from the default before i took the screenshot or if simPE was just weird because they have family ties...

for the parent the default settings should be absolutely fine 

when you’ve finished this for one PT go back to the family ties, locate the next PT and open their sim description by right clicking and selecting ‘open sim description’. it’s a bit of a convoluted way to open the sim description but it’s the only way i’ve found to ensure you’re opening the CORRECT PT’s sim description. 

commit your changes and save! close simPE and your PT and alien childrens’ family ties should be fixed! if all goes to shit for whatever reason restore backup 1 and start again...

as i said at the start i’m new to using simPE but if you have any questions about this i will try my best to help! so don’t hesitate to ask. i hope this is helpful and you can fix your family trees with confidence!

10. I knew alexc3ssive and pra3sagium from my local doll community. They're horrible people who act nice to your face but as soon as you turn your back they'll stab it. 11. I’ve had nothing but good experiences with BJDiv4s, but I’m done buying from them. I don’t care if a customer is bad in your view, you don’t publicly air that shit, address things politely and never sink to such levels - successful small biz of other kinds know this. They are going after anyone who openly says they’re not comfortable, rather than trying to re-earn trust, and having their squad review bomb with vague positives.

But I'm sure everyone will go full DARVO on this too. They fucked up the orders of a bunch of us posting in the Lvts waiting room. When so much stuff is getting lost or broken, they do need to take control and use different couriers. And that is something they can control. My package was in limbo so long I was about to report it lost, because it took 20 days to get from their office to a post office. This is in their control! They can blame whoever picks up their parcels, but if they keep doing business with them, it's their fault.

This is the only doll I didn't take unboxing pics of, because I was worried that more might have gone wrong.

And before divas DARVO this, because I am identifiable... they offered to replace the antlers in September (just before blasting Z3st on fb). This was the first time they told me that Lvts would replace parts. But I already knew, because Lvts told me in June that they were sending replacements for those orders to divas. I mean, it would be a nice offer if Lvts hadn't already replaced my antlers back in June-July (I paid in June, they arrived before I asked divas for my doll), and if divas hadn't seen me post on DoA that I got replacements (the post they banned me from their VIP fb because I leaked their bitching mentions it). And also it would have been nice if divas had told us they sorted out replacements in June, and I didn't have to accidentally hear it from Luts. (idk if I have a shot of Lvts saying that, but if you look in the waiting room thread on DoA you can see me telling other posters at the time.)

Also I'm clearly not Z3st, so..? Yeah. I have ordered over 20 dolls since the start of 2020 and this was the only one with problems. I've been collecting dolls for over 20 years, so I'm not new at this. Me begging for my doll was the only time I remotely lost composure (and that's more desperation than rudeness tbh)

BTW this was shortly after divaz had someone delete a DoA review for complaining about communication times, which fair enough because they hadn't allowed the 3 days. But then this happens and oh irony!

(Please don't be shitty because I had a bad time with divaz. I am not entitled and I have been selling online since I was a teen. I don’t come at anyone who had a bad time with other dealers to 'well actually' them. Please respect people's experiences as valid. This would be far less of a drama bomb if people did that. That I have to write a life history to deflect criticism and excuses in advance does not sit well with me.)

For moodboards/aesthetics (0/6 SLOTS): include your kin, at least one theme, and at least one color. Please also tell me anything you DONT want added. Feel free to add more! The more detailed, the easier it is for me to make it.

For panel/sprite edits (0/6): include your kin, what sprite you want used, as many details as you want to give. The more detailed, the better I’ll be able to deliver.

For canon calls (UNLIMITED): tell us your kin, a little bit about you, some mems that might click with others, and your age range. Feel free to include things that might make you uncomfortable and anything else.

For positivity (0/4 SLOTS): all you have to do is come to me and ask for some positivity and I’ll help. Hype you up? You got it! Help you out? You got it! Feelin’ shitty? I’ll try my best to make you feel better. This also applies to my dms if you want more direct positivity.

You can literally put anything here tbh! It’s sorta’ like chitchat but a place dedicated to kin related confessions. Be sure to format these as “Confession: bla bla bla” you get the idea. I can do tags for anons.

For traditional/digital art (0/1 SLOT): tell me your kin and how you looked! I’ll also include some lil’ personalized things so feel free to add whatever you like. These will mainly be doodles, sketches, or generally whatever I feel like cause I’m not gettin’ paid lmao.

For coin flips (0/2 SLOTS): ask a general question (these can be yes or no) and I’ll ask one of my decks for an answer. These will usually be in a beginning/middle/end layout but you can request any type of reading.
