The first thing Rodney thinks when he steps into his room that afternoon is that his reflexes have really improved. There was a time that he would’ve dropped whatever he was holding if he found someone huddled in his bed in the middle of the day. As it is, he clutches his laptop with one hand and waves his other to close the door. He’s pretty sure he hasn’t made a sound. The plan had been to work for a few hours in the relative quiet of his room, farther than his lab from where Radek and the engineers are remodeling after Keller nearly turned into a hive ship. John in his bed, however, is a more than welcome distraction.
