You read the headline for a third time, 'F1 Academy driver Y/N Diaz to replace ill Lance Stroll for the Monaco GP.'

There's a happy buzz in the Aston Martin garage, even with Lance being terribly ill this weekend. He'd still shown up in full support of his team, but was too woozy to actually get in the car. Too much of a risk. So, Aston Martin had called on you, and you were genuinely excited to race. So your father escorts you into the garage with a tiny proud smile, and all of Aston Martin knows who you actually are.

But media does not. Neither do some of the other drivers.

Hence how you end up talking with Lando during a press event, and when he gives you a soft smile and edges around asking your age, you have to poke your father's thigh to keep him from commenting on it. Lando has no idea he's blatantly flirting with you in front of your dad, but across from him Lewis is trying not to burst into laughter.

"I feel like I'm missing something." Lando says when the reporter comments on the eyes you, Lewis, and Fernando are giving each other. You look at Fernando and he nods,

"Yeah go for it, hermosa." Fernando taps your knee and you smirk, leaning on your fathers shoulder as you say,

"So my full name is Y/N Diaz Alonso, but I go by Diaz because y'know, my dad's got a pretty good legacy--"

"You're his daughter?!" Lando shouts and the audience starts screaming. Lewis is in practical tears with how hard he's laughing and Fernando's laughing as well. Lando curses, "Shit, man!"

"No hard feelings, man." Fernando reaches over to pats Lando's shoulder, who looks like he'd rather sink into the floor and die than be seen right now. Lewis is literally in tears.

"The fact Nando managed to keep this a secret for so long is unsurprising to me," Lewis says, "I mean, I knew because she was young when I first got to F1 and a lot of the older drivers know--plus Max, I think, because of the Piquets."

"Funnily enough," You giggle into the back of your hand, "Mark Webber's my godfather."

"Really?!" The reporters eyes widen and you nod.

"He's a bad influence, truly. Him and Jenson, oh and Seb, they were teaching me curse words at like four years old." You grin and Fernando laughs, now happily laying his arm across your shoulder to tug you to his side.

"And honestly, she's just like me at her age, so the boys on the track might wanna watch out." Fernando sends a pointed glance to Lando that has you whacking your fathers chest with a giggle.

"I'm more like him in the sense of goofy Renault celebrations Fernando, not like "I knew he'd brake because he has a wife and kids at home" Fernando." You clarify, but a knowing glance from Lewis has you shrugging while your father sits in smug confidence that his daughter will be fine.

And you would be. You were closer to the comments than the celebrations in actuality. Though, you'd never admit that.

platonic yandere class 1a (+teachers if u feel like writing them) with an idol reader. to be a bit more specific, the reader is kinda like a jpop idol and they're also a hero, but they fight very brutally like someone in mortal Kombat would.

and the class is like very concerned cuz reader is pretty young and they shouldn't do all this hard idol work (I imagine that they found out they're an idol before they found out they were also a vigilante). Shoto and Bakugo would always compete with each other over for your praise and try out one another whether be fighting, playing games anything they'll do anything to win your attention

Tsuyu and Tokoyami were your calm besties pretending that they were normal even tho they wanted you just as bad Tokoyami and you would watch mystery movies together and Tsuyu would occasionally join the two of you and try guessing dark shadow would joined as well making it interesting while tokoyami watched happily

Izuku would rant all about his favorite heroes to you while you rant about your interests and put them together and thentwo of you would be ranting for hours and hours at the time

At training, it's WW2 fighting over who gets to train with you 1st and Aizawa had to stop them and decided that you were gonna train with him while the rest of the class groaned while he restrained himself from, smirking knowing he won

One day a villain was attacking and everyone's priorities were fixated on getting you safe but before they turned to look to see if you were you took off launching yourself towards the villain and beating them mercilessly the class watched as You were taking down the villain with mixed emotions, mostly admiration, some shocked, most concerned, and the bakusquad hyping you up

At the end of the day when the monsters got taken down you were met with a bunch of fans who wanted to get your autograph and a selfie with you but you were worried since you were covered in blood but the fans surprise thought it was badass, so your fans started taking a lot of photos with your while your class watched in jealous but that's fine

i need a version of longlegs thats just Dale going about his every day life:

waking up with the record he put on the night before finished and crackling, he yawns and his joints click as he stretches and gets up. he brushes his hair so carefully, powders his face, then eats the breakfast Ruth leaves at the top of the stairs for him.

as he eats, he checks his map of the local area to see if there are any houses or families he hasn't checked yet, waiting until he feels a tap when he looks in the tight place. then humming to himself, he irons his clothes very carefully but not enough to get the wrinkles completely out, then dresses even more carefully, and checks himself in the mirror. he puts on a smile, practices his greeting question, clearing his throat and repositioning himself, trying different intonations or stresses before, once satisfied, heading out to the capricorn charm car and driving to the location where a new potential family may be.

once he's found them and confirms the birthday and the whiteness of the house, he heads back 'home' and makes a very detailed list of supplies he needs to make the doll exactly perfect, planning meticulously to make sure its made in time for her birthday. he also lets Ruth know that it'll be time to deliver another gift soon.

then he starts making, his records playing low and humming in the background as he scetches and primes and paints and polishes the doll's porcelain face and hands and feet, sews in and brushes and styles the human hair, takes a break for lunch, washes his hands to ensure no contamination, no imperfection, then gets back to work only to realise he's running out of raisin china paint for this doll's soft blush and his liner brush is wearing out so he carefully puts this doll in its well cushioned box, covers it, and rushes out to the supply store in his housecoat and slippers.

by the time he gets back its nearly dark, so he lights his candles, changes the record for the evening, smiles and mumbles, then calls up a thank you to Ruth through the floorboards for dinner, eats while scribbling down some more notes for the doll, for Ruth, and after he's done and clean, he gets back to work, humming and painting and polishing. the routine goes on for the couple of weeks it takes to perfect the doll... and when its done, he stutters and snorts a laugh and asks the doll again, giddy, delighted, shivering with such relief and excitement, "So... what's your name, little angel?"

Ruth takes care of the rest. he packs up his supplies, and sleeps, finally, snoring deeply, slightly fitful but for a long time. he wakes a few days later to breakfast and the record crackles again. Ruth has left the day's paper beside his tray of breakfast. the headline: FAMILY MAN COMMITS MURDER-SU*CIDE, WIFE, DAUGHTER KILLED.

he sighs deeply, melting into an almost euphoric relaxation. then he puts on a new record, and eats his breakfast, and brushes his hair.

ending note / long ramble about the whole situation

its been a long while huh 😭 exactly 4 months. minus a day ! on a year with a longer february as well, nonetheless. its been fun, but i may stop drawing them now; not to say natsume has utterly obliterated my love for innovades inside of my brain (though i thought of announcing it this way with a funny headline like BREAKING NEWS ! natsume has murdered the entire species of innovades in cold blood. we are sorry for the inconvenience), but also as of late it did sort of become a bother to draw them; mostly because of the keeping track of it as well and because i did not want the draw rate etc to drop. i did get to 1/4th of my goal.. minus one ! im not saying i will NEVER be drawing them ever again, but i doubt ill be keeping track of it anymore — alongside that, i do not think i will be drawing them almost at all anymore either (now, for a while. but they may still appear here and there from time to time.. as all my past fandoms do), so if you were only here for them and not me & my works, feel free to unfollow. i will still be up to have talks about them ! but i just wont devote such a high amount of time and effort to them anymore. it is hard to say ive been slowly falling out of love with them, and mayhaps even harder to say im falling in love again with natsume 😭 and EXACTLY a year later after i last stopped drawing him too... which is crazy .

i feel like besides this, it was also becoming apparent that drawing them has become a chore to me ; i was not feeling up to drawing highly detailed pieces with them anymore that id spend time on. i was not happy with the results on many of them either. and things like the page of every single tieria outfit, despite it used to be a thing i was once hyped about doing... back in january when i just got here, it no longer was that way. yes, i pushed through with it, but it took me a very long time and i kind of disliked going back to it, which is why it even took me that long 😭 and was moreso just done to keep up the numbers of innovades drawn ; for myself, for others.

i cannot lie about the fact it did make me happy i was giving to such a small fandom and brightening other peoples days, and this is a big flaw i have that i tend to put others above myself, but this has become much too big of a bother to me to keep on doing it. i still love them ! not as much, but i still do, especially ribbons. there is nothing wrong with them, i just do not wish to continue essentially wasting so much of my time drawing things i do not enjoy drawing, unless i am to see it finished and thats all the joy i get out of it.

as for the requests with the innovades, i am unsure if i am to do them anymore except for a singular one that ive also not received thru an ask but dm, purely because i am actually hyped about it 😭 and that may be the extent of which you will be seeing anymore 00 content from me.

Be neat if amber lead is one of those illnesses that once you get it youll never get it again, (like chickenpox) ((kinda)). It was just the amber lead is so deadly no one really survived to test that till now.

So now luffy is also a carrier of the disease and while its probably fine because the strain is so weak the it would require repeated frequent exposure to really infect someone and law could still cure them.

Luffy and law are now stuck together just a bit cuase well, now you two cant really kiss anyone else less you want to accidentally risk killing them

Luffy not being able to eat Law’s food, and grumbling everytime time Law lost his appetite and threw it out instead of eating it. Picky eater meets a bottomless stomach kind of deal, so now anything Law doesn’t like/won’t eat he just puts it on Luffy’s plate.

Almost everyone one thinks thats its Luffy who is stuck with Law on the heart pirates ship until he gets used to being contagious, but really Luffy just sees this as another adventure and Law is the one who is trying to keep up with Luffy’s endless energy even though the white lead did a number on his lungs, and he needs rest. Luffy don’t care. He’s zipping around like nothing happened, gets tired then he might use a gear to keep going. Making Luffy take it slow and relax is not gonna happen. Law getting stronger just by extension, and figuring out new ways to deal with the side-effects of the white lead.

They are pirates, and polyamory and open relationships with communication are a standard. Law feels a little guilty that Luffy can’t take other partners without alot of semantics to figure out, which Luffy is probably not gonna bother to take the time with if its a spur of the moment thing. While also Luffy would want to keep others safe, so he is just not going to get involved. Luffy just shrugs, “I got you and adventure, why the heck do I need more?”

Law is a mess for a week after that statement. Monogamy in their life style on the sea? Who would have thought? Though its not really that, Luffy knows what he likes, and trying new things is fun, but he was never that interested in kissing anyone until meeting Traffy, and despite his pouting he doesn’t initiate much of that unless its just the two of them and the mood strikes him. Law is more likely to initiate, leading with little touches. (I headcanon Law is way more horny then Luffy, and while Luffy hugs everyone, Law’s touches are reserved little things when he is walking by, a peck on the cheek, a touch on the back, etcetra.)

So yeah, Luffy doesn’t think he is stuck with Law, and its like a getaway where the two of them can cause some chaos, and hang out in a way they havent since before Punk Hazard on the island.

Bet it makes big headlines when the two of them teamup but not for any big reason like taking down Doflamingo or Kaido. The world is terrified of what they will do, especially if it comes out that Monkey D. Luffy has the contagious white lead disease lol. Meanwhile they are just going on dates, and maybe throwing a banquet here and there after freeing some island thats been going through some shit XD

To educate you on ship culture the name of the top goes first. This isn’t something new, it’s been a thing for forever lol BL actors in Thailand also do it for their couple names. Fans just assume what role they are and go with it. If they’re verse, then it doesn’t matter whose name comes first. Has nothing to do with who is older / acts older.

I have spoken to 2 Kjikookers and 2 I-Jikookers who used to live in SK and they have confirmed that yes it does have to do with who's top and who's bottom. But also anon where you're wrong is that it DOES also have something to do with the hyung/dongsaeng dynamic.

Now I will say this right now, in terms of sexual positions, this couldn't be more weird if y'all tried. It's honestly messed up and disrespectful from my POV. If they were a ship on TV, yeah, okay, sure. But Jimin and JK are real people and while we speculate how they fuck all the time, to base and decide what you're gonna call them on that, it honestly gives me the ickys. i kind of adore that theyre not just all rares and we are getting clue set commons and stuff :3 its cute! and we're getting a new lonis too-- its not a super interesting card but i adore lonis and im very excited to play with more of her. and we get an interesting new land cycle in the cluelands too! the art for them kinda blows at the moment but at some point in the future i assume they'll be reprinted in a set that gives them fun and interesting art? maybe? please? im not exactly itching to play them but ill never turn down another cycle of duals teehee

id love to talk about some individual cards from the lineup so far that i adore! these are just my top picks but id recommend going and looking at the full list spoiled so far on scryfall :3

for starters, my favorite card from the whole spoiler season right now i think has to be scuttling sentinel. i dont think i want to play her in any commander deck, but in my opinion this is like one of the top cards for cubes in 2024 period-- like cankerbloom tier of cube card. she's awesome! a crab elf which is such an awesome creature type, playable with green or blue, puts 1/1 counters on things and its main draw is just being a decent body that offers protection :) she's great!!!! ive already slotted her into the cube ive been piecing together recently. i like her a lot.

resonance technician is such a cool spell copier <3 every part of it is kind of expensive so im not really sure where youd play it but it does a lot of cool things all at once on a single card which is fun! the flavor is cool-- we all love weirds here-- and the functionality is useful and cute. cool card. big fan

we also have portal manipulator who is like one of the weirdest and strongest combat tricks ive ever seen? this is like if aetherize also fucked your shit in. so i can absolutely see this seeing a lot of play honestly. but lets be real here this card just has amazing art. thheres portals around her skull !!! god shes so cool.

corporeal projection gets a shoutout because what a fun effect <3 it being izzet is awesome and on-flavor and the card itself is both an interesting choice to give your creature myriad for extra damage and a fun wincon :) im glad theres a simple and convenient way to give one creature myriad now that isn't a brick to run in my commander decks because it has a high-cost endgame mode. yay!

finally it wouldnt be a goqmir set review if i didnt shout out the new cards that work well in Naya Cast From Exile :3 Boros Strike-Captain seems kind of mid but it's important to remember that the card never goes away, and you can cast it any time after when you attack with at least 3 creatures even if BSC is off the battlefield. big fan of this one! im not sure if i can find the space to jam him in my Rocco Street Chef decklist but he's a very playable option.

Personally, i think Headliner Scarlett is the winner this set. She's a very good hit pretty much any time-- you're always gonna get a minimum of 4 free damage when she sticks, and if you play her early you get some pretty strong card advantage, which turns into very very strong card advantage in both Rocco and Prosper. if you pull her late, she can win you the game straight up by allowing you to swing out uninhibited-- though i can't speak for Prosper players, this will pretty much always be at minimum a knock out if you pull it lategame in Rocco. definitely making room for her in my decklist.

anyway thats just some cards i liked from the weird product thats coming out :3 i was and still am iffy on purchasing the product and expect the cards to be a little too expensive but as far as designs go they're pretty cool and im very happy that they exist! um sqrrk <3

For multi-chap fics, yes but very loosely haha. I usually just have the big plot points outlined and lots of "stuff happens here?" type of notes haha. for the bigger AU wips I have though I tend to outline more, but not even always then. like, here is my outline for my wbg vampire AU thats on the backburner rn

as you can see there are like 0 plot details haha I don't even explain what I mean by "no more obstacles" (i know what I meant tho). I don't even have any of the other challenges! lmao

I found the script for Newsies Jr online and need to share the changes bc there's a lot, this won't be absolutely everything, just the big/main changes that I noticed, this will be all over the place but anyways, enjoy

DISCLAIMER: I am in no way making fun of Newsies Jr, it's great that community theatres/schools etc. who might not have the means to put on the full show are still able to put on a production of Newsies, this is purely for entertainment/intrigue purposes

the show starts with the newsies shouting different headlines and selling papes to the audience (which is also how uksies starts so that's fun)

there are a lot of line changes (so I won't cover every single one), which is understandable but very jarring to someone like me who knows the script off by heart. this is obvious straight away as they pretty much changed crutchie's first line (sidenote non binary crutchie we love to see it so I will be using they/them pronouns below for the character)

newsies jr makes it canon that crutchie's bad leg is due to polio

for some reason crutchie is named casey (correct me if I'm wrong but pretty sure we've made it canon that their name is charlie so weird change but oh well)

manhattan girlsies!! (nancy, pigtails, hazel + muriel)

they cut the back and forth between race and weasel, but kept his interaction with albert which is a bit strange

race doesn't have a cigar

there is like no romance between jack and katherine, honestly they might as well have just replaced her with denton from 92sies

no idea why but for some reason crutchie is in the street scene before they go to meddas for the first time, and the scene in the theatre, whilst I do like them being given some more stage time, don't really understand why they're in these two scenes bc it doesn't really add anything

the bowery beauties are the bowery brigade (their names are ethel, ada & olive)

that's rich has been replaced by a new song called just a pretty face, never planned on you/don't come a-knockin' has been cut

letter from the refuge is moved to just after santa fe, which ngl I kinda prefer

some lines have been moved into different scenes, like the 'you've got real talent' bit that katherine says to jack has been moved to what is supposed to be the wwhr scene

also for some reason, the bit where jack is like 'you got a name?' is in the scene that's supposed to be at jacobi's where katherine is trying to convince them to let her cover the strike, BUT the scene between her and jack in medda's theatre was pretty much completely rewritten and she introduced herself there (aka jack kelly is not a good listener confirmed)

okay this bit really confused me, so they added a new character named dorothy who is the daughter of the guy who owns the trib, but they kept bill, and darcy (who in this version is katherine's photographer, but could still be kept as the son of the guy who owns the trib like he is in the broadway/tour/uk versions)

so thats all I could think of for now, will add if/when I remember more :)
