universes beyond comes with a variety of problems for magic but as far as i'm concerned "game purity" is not one of them. i dont care at all that nerdy properties get official cards. i think that's cool. there are a lot of functional reasons to dislike the implementations of UB like 40K's egregious singles market price points or the reduction of interesting magic IP releases (which idk... kind of isnt really happening that much from my perspective) but i will never vibe with the frustration people express about spongebob or gandalf or spider-man or the doctor who guy getting cards and going on the same battlefield as jace beleren. i kind of dgaf. i like fortnite
