I'm curious if you've ever eaten yourself sick? I'm sure the goal is to retain as many calories as possible, but I'm just wondering if you've ever misjudged how much you could handle and ended up losing everything you ate? As an aspiring feedee this is something I could see me struggling with. How did you manage to stretch your stomach so that it can handle your never-ending appetite? Any tips? Thanks for spoiling us with all the posts tonight!

I have a couple of times, yes. It sucks and is definitely something to avoid. I’ve only done it once where I threw up immediately; the other few times I went to bed and then woke up sick an hour or two later.

I would say that the biggest risk factor for me is trying to force myself to eat a ton of just one thing. The worst I’ve ever felt after a stuffing was when I tried to eat a dozen Krispy Kreme donuts: so much sugar and no real variation in flavor makes it difficult to keep down. (I got through 9, if anyone was wondering.) I’m not saying you can’t stuff yourself on donuts, but don’t force yourself to keep eating them once it really starts to get hard. You’d be surprised how much room you have left if you switch to something salty, even just for a few bites before going back to the donuts.

The other thing to look out for is going to sleep while super duper maxed out, especially if you have bad acid reflux like me. Give yourself a little time to digest before sleep if you can, and if you do need to lay down, lay on your right side (that’s the direction your stomach/pylorus empties into your duodenum). It can also help to prop yourself up with pillows and keep some tums by your bedside. I’m on omeprazole because I have reflux even when I don’t stuff myself and it helps a lot; I think you can get that over the counter. All this being said, reflux and vomiting are different things (reflux/regurgitation is a passive process) but when I’ve thrown up the night after stuffing it’s because my reflux irritates my esophagus and pharynx so much that it triggers vomiting.

At the end of the day, I managed to stretch my stomach by listening to my body. I push myself, yes, but not to the point that it’s super uncomfortable and not fun anymore. Obviously sometimes I overdo it (even by my standards) but with practice you find a balance.

Sorry this post was long and not sexy, but hopefully this will be practical and useful advice.

hey, fellow Judas defender back again. I'm feeling like working on my writing stuff for the first time in literal years and if youre up for it i love bouncing this stuff off of other people. So my question is. like. What is the actual role of religion to him? like i always pictured it as kind of a Grantaire/Enjolras deal where he doesn't really buy into the teachings but he believes in/loves the leader so much he's willing to tag along. But i've also read some really interesting interpretations where Judas is like. super observant and obedient to religious practices.

this is such a great question!! i think when we’re talking about the actual historical figure of judas, chances are he would’ve been quite devout in his judaism, because everyone was. in my mind, his character has a great and intense capacity for devotion. however i think that through following jesus, that devotion would have shifted from god solely to jesus himself. i definitely think judas believed strongly in jesus’s teachings (most of them, at least) and in the man himself and his ability to do good, because he, like all the apostles, would have had to in order to give up his life to follow Some Fucking Guy no one had ever heard of. i think he had enormous capacity for love and jesus brought that out in him. however i imagine a major sticking point in their relationship would have been when judas became so devoted to jesus that he sort of stopped caring about god. why would he care what god had to say when jesus was right in front of him? judas could see jesus, hear him, speak to him, fight with him, confess to him, ask him questions, love and be loved by him. all things that he probably felt he couldn’t get from god in the wake of receiving them from another human being. i think when he started to receive these things from jesus he would have realized how much he was missing them from god. but of course this would have bothered jesus deeply, for obvious reasons. i think jesus would have felt that judas was misinterpreting his teachings, bordering on idol worship, and this would have caused a lot of tension between them. so basically i think he was extremely observant in his own way, but that this wouldn’t necessarily have lined up with how jesus hoped his followers would practice.

Ohh I think I get what they're saying like as a data person myself, like, you have all the combinations of [male, partially male, not male] × [female, partially female, not female] (in a vector cross product way) BUT you seem to have labeled the (male/partially male) & (not female) as "male + not binary", which implies that the (male)+(female) category excludes non-binary genders.

I think this is easily resolved by adjusting the wording from "male/female + not binary" to "male but not female" and "female but not male" etc. Though that's just my initial take, I'll give it a read over again just to be sure

I intentionally did "not binary" rather than "nonbinary," since nonbinary is a label that sometimes is aligned with a binary gender or exists alongside one, while "not binary" was the way it made the most sense to me to shorten "a gender that is not in any way connected to the binary." I do understand the confusion, though, since the terms are quite similar. Like I said, I think "abinary" might have been a better choice if I'd known more about the term. The wording that makes sense to me often isn't the best way to communicate my thoughts to other people, so I apologize for the unintentional implications my wording caused.

That's a good suggestion, and I'll note it for next time around.

And I know I'm the creator, so of course I'm biased, but I will say that I have joggers I wear at least once per week that were from pre-pandemic times (so going on 4+ years old now) that are still holding up, as well as skirts (which I don't wear as often just because I'm more of a pants person) that are also that old and still look great. I can't say I've tested the current "milk silk" skirts beyond 2 years yet simply because we just introduced them last year, but I did brutally test them with multiple successive un-ideal machine washings and dryings (high heat, etc) and they were proving to be more durable than the matte skirts I've got in my wardrobe that are still around from 2018-2019. So time will tell, but I'm very hopeful that they will still look good after two or more years. Regardless, I know not everyone will be happy with synthetics even if they're durable. We offer fabric swatches for anyone concerned that they might not like the look or feeling of our fabric, so you can test it out for yourself in person without having to commit to a full skirt or pair of joggers. I highly recommend that anyone with concerns tries out the fabric swatches before placing a full order!!
