#both of them have similar rather extreme reactions to Mahidevran and Hürrem really or supposedly “crossing a line”#in terms of Hafsa because Hürrem merely expressed disobedience#opposing Hafsa's decision to marry her thus in her eyes disrupting the order more and more#and in terms of Süleiman because while Mahi made a real transgression#him discarding her outright in this final way is kind of hilarious both given the poison attempt coming next#and the far more serious stuff he'll later give a pass to for the people he considers “loyal”#Mahi not adhering to an ideal is what set off SS most of all#it's just a matter of people having to stick to the lines drawn for them#and this along with the biases that are already there *before* they're confirmed by certain situations and color *both* SS and Hafsa's#judgments brings along harsh severe consequences#(also both Süleiman and Hafsa wear pretty much the same colors in the respective scenes!)#and something about both Hü and Mahi being saved from their literal and symbolic exiles thanks to having their children#(Mahidevran shouldn't be seperated from her child while Hürrem shouldn't be married while carrying SS's future child)#and both events having pregnancy as an undercurrent too#Mahidevran and Hürrem's part of the show's past vs. future motif#oh well#magnificent century#muhteşem yüzyıl#muhtesem yuzyil#sultan suleiman#ayse hafsa sultan#mahidevran sultan#hurrem sultan

Me and my freaking ship charts for my freaky mind
#I'm gonna rant about them in the tags a lil bit so bear with me#I really like the idea of them taking turns “spooning” each other (or just one laying on top of the other idk)#bc they listen to each others' heartbeats since Lisa's dying lmao#and idk where losa being taller came from#but her canon height says she's 5'11 and i believe it honestly#and kind of the same thing with her being trans; i just think it's a neat character study#especially since we dont know anything about her past or who she was before the game's events#and i didnt rly know how to mark Jean's flirtiness levels because Jean flirtation is VERY different from Lisa flirtation#hers is much more unintentional or very charming like a kiss to the back of Lisa's hand or dancing her around her office when it's late#and she speaks formally too which adds to the unintentional rizz#Lisa cant help but fall for her fr#and i think they are the embodiment of the “fell first fell harder” trope#Lisa falls first and she's content to watch Jean from afar bc she knows how important her job and Mond are to her#and then Jean finally catches up tripping falling bleeding all over ripping her heart out to show Lisa how it beats for her#altho i think it was hard for her to come to terms with it especially since she doesnt want her personal life to interfere with work#so she has to find the balance first#and Jean also knows that being flirty is just who Lisa is and that they are both extremely loyal to each other#but Lisa gets pushed a lot probably when other women start hitting on Jean a little too much#and they're both equally overprotective of each other especially out on dangerous missions#but Lisa feels like she HAS to protect Jean more bc of her importance to the safety of Mond#this is just me rambling tho im literally so in love with them bc theyre just so soft and the wives ever#i am the most sane jeanlisa shipper actually#ty for coming to my ted talk#jean gunnhildr#lisa mici#jeanlisa#genshin impact#ship chart#character art is mine

i have not read or digested a single arknights story in weeks i've just been passively locked in with farming to build characters because if there's anything i hate its being soft-locked out of stage because my characters are shit. also im catastrophically busy these days. that too.

I have a Nordegrim AU idea! (again)
It’s hard to explain but Neil has seven evil ex arcade rivals that Stacey has to beat up in order to be able to go on arcade dates with him.
#that’s it in simple terms#It’s still a WIP as I only came up with it like 30 minutes ago#and while trying to make the first edition of this post I came up with better ideas than the ones I had at first#and even while making this post I came up with more so this idea isn’t set in stone#i know for a fact Neil’s unused girlfriend Lainey is the seventh evil rival#don’t know who the rest are but I’ll figure it out eventually#oh and the rivals can also be ex boyfriends girlfriends or partners#and this also takes place shortly after the events in the comic#but yeah anyways I headcanon that Stacey likes fighting games#it probably doesn’t make sense for her character as Scott’s the more nerdy of the three pilgrim siblings#but Stacey is a bit of a nerd as she does have a Mario star shirt and has been known to throw game controllers (I think)#this is was all made cause I was drawing Stacey in Cody’s outfit from final fight#and that happened cause of a bunch of doodles I made#scott pilgrim#young neil#neil nordegraf#stacey pilgrim#nordegrim#stacey pilgrim x neil nordegraf

i've been in such dire need of a week-long nap. since like. the beginning of the week.
#don't get me wrong i like being busy and having Things to do but i so badly need a day where i can just rot in bed#thought i'd finally get to catch up on sleep and maybe get some writing done after finals but there is just so much to do#just this week i had two birthdays to celebrate and i had to settle my housing and there is just. So much more left.#i have to pack and then move and then pack again and then also somehow fit in all the end of term events#as well as going out almost every other night. all in a singular week.#ik the social events are self imposed but damn. i might not see these people again in a long time. it just feels like a shame not to.

#she has 20 lines at most but i love her#i'd really like for an 5 to have more yuka content... especially since ken is training vbs#ken is working them rough which for people surrounding vivid street (or at least vbs) would seem tough but understandable#but yuka is an outsider. yuka is a caring mother who still supports her daughter and her friends despite not growing up in vivid street#yuka would possibly consider this too much for the moment and try to get them to relax#and. i really want the current vbs arc to end with them relaxing a little#i don't think they'll go straight from “we're surpassing rad weekend and carrying nagi's wish”#to “we're tying ourselves down to this one event when we could go even further”#but they could definitely recognise “we're still kids we have time”#and yuka could be the one to bring that up. radder were all adults when rad weekend happened. vbs are in their second year of high school#and they're talented. so incredibly talented. kohane showed that at crawl green. akito finally realises his growth in his 4th event#toya has just came to terms with his classical music background and draws from it to write songs for the group#and an has had years of experience singing. except she also holds herself back in her want to be line nagi#which i'm almost certain will be addressed in her 5th event. and with yuka being the one who comforted an during lutf (in her card)#well. i think it would be nice for her to come back#especially as she is - again - an outsider to vivid street. she could represent how vbs can go beyond vivid street#another possibility is kohane's father. he sort of just disappeared after sdsc (at least i recall akito and an mentioning meeting him?)#and considering the impact he has on kohane (photography and his doubts regarding her sudden change in early game)#it could be nice seeing him again since with kohane/akito/toya seemingly reaching the end of a current arc in the last year#(ie the kohane and taiga plot/akito no longer feeling like he's behind the others/toya and classical music)#the next step in the group's story could be happening#half of this has nothing to do with yuka fjrjdiejd. i just like the concept of her being the group's link to going outside of vivid street#or going beyond is suppose. beyond the way...#bagel's rambles#i'm on break. watch me draw yuka design

Me grinding the "colleage with a problem" storylet in The University while I wait for the Bohemians card to appear so I can turn in my Exceptional Story to upgrade to the Author profession and finally have my Acquaintance invite me to a Salon like they wanted
#fallen london#the reason I'm grinding that particular storylet bc it's honestly the most cost-effective way to raise your Connected to the Universities#and I want to get my Connections with Benthic high enough to attend the final event at the end of the Term#so that afterwards I can freely continue the Correspondence studies without missing out#I need to raise my Scholar of Correspondence quality to 3 so I can pilot my Zubmarine#this is the most important thing to me rn
