I hope it’s ok if I rant a little about MHA because your post about Endeavor walking free reminded me of how detrimental some of the messages MHA can be. (I’ll try not to write much, feel free to delete this tho!)

It is so frustrating how the story doesn’t linger enough on the weight killing people that have yet to commit a crime, people that are a threat to the status quo, holds.

Sometimes I legit feel insane because people will be saying things like, “He could be a threat, so of course they should kill him.” And then talk about Deku and class 1A “changing the world for the better,” when the series doesn’t care to unpack its systematic issues past individual issues + the series essentially maintained the system that failed so many—resorting to reforms and expanding programs doesn’t actually solve the problem imo.

And it’s so hard nowadays to even try to have a conversation that entails criticism of the story, when so many fans fall for the condescending righteousness the story feeds as a response just because it came from heroes. Even though the story itself presents reasons why we shouldn’t blindly trust heroes (Endeavor literally right there) 🤦

Like, the story presents characters being oppressed and the ultimate response to their plight is constantly, “Just be a better victim.” The whole situation with Touya and Endeavor + what Deku says to Touya, is absolutely insane to me.

It made me sick to see people saying, “This is what Touya always wanted.” This is what people are taking away from the story, when many people who grew up being abused and didn’t fit the “perfect victim” criteria will tell you how fucked up that ending was.

Anyway, sorry for ranting. It’s so hard to find people who understands criticism in the MHA fandom 😭 The story has a lot of good points and potential, Hori just couldn’t handle it properly.

As for your thoughts, 100% agree. I feel like a big part of the problem is that the story spends so much time setting up systematic issues and then just..drops them? Acts like they don't exist? And instead it redirects all blame and reason to indovidual problems, like Endeavor for example. Touya became a villain because of Endeavor..but the conditions under which he became a villain could have been massively prevented if the ranking system didn't exist and if so much value hadn't been placed on it. Or if the wealth and privilege that being a hero had brought to Endeavor hadn't let people turn a blind eye to his bullshit. Because are you really telling NO ONE had even an inclination that something was wrong in that household? Really?

This also applies to Tomura. In the beginning The Walk where he spent some amount of time on the streets without anyone helping him seemed very important to his backstory. He didn't become a villain just because his father was a pos, he becane a villain because the state of heroism led to a society that glorified heroes to such an extent that people didn't help a bloody kid on the street because a 'hero would'. But instead most of his memories Deku interferes w are about the Shimura household instead of the very important bystander syndrome. And THEN to top it all off, we learn the stupid 'AFO orchestrated Tomura's whole life' thing. I cannot find the right words to express just how much I loathe that.

Anyway, Touya and Tenko are just two examples. Overall, the story chooses to resolve individual problems (and how well even those are resolved is certainly debatable) and frame them as the leading causes of villainy when its mostly systemic issues that cause it and then act like there were no systemic issues in the first place. I mean, literally no one has a problem with the HPSC casually having private assassins to commit extrajudicial murder, so. Guess Nagant should have just been "optimistic" and waited for someone to, idk, topple the literal government.

And so far, that’s exactly what he’s been doing. Robin’s off dancing with a girl after Steve assured her about ten times that he’d be fine on his own. He’s just debating whether or not his inhibitions are lowered enough to go dancing when his thoughts are interrupted by a voice to his right.

“Steeeeeeeve Harrington.”

Steve turns, already cringing. Anyone who says his name with a tone like that is someone who is not going to be thrilled with seeing him in a gay club. The thing is, Steve has no idea who this person is. Can’t even really tell if they’re a guy or a girl. Their features are fairly masculine, all lean muscles and square chin, but they’ve got long, wild hair and heavy eye makeup. The cropped muscle tank with ‘Massive Dyke’ printed in lurid red muddies the waters even further.

“Oh, hey… uh…” Yeah, Steve’s pulling a complete blank. They look kind of familiar? He’s definitely seen them around. Somewhere. 

They roll their eyes. “Not surprised King Steve doesn’t recognise me. Especially looking like this. What are you doing here?”

Steve sighs a little. “I’m here with a friend. She was nervous to come alone so I’m here for moral support and wingmanning.”

Steve smiles and shakes the offered hand. “Oh, yeah! You ran that club my kids went to- dungeons and dragons, right? Cool to see you again, dude!”

Eddie’s face does a complicated little wiggle before- “Uh, not a dude, man.”

“Wait, what?”

“I’m a girl, now. Still Eddie, though, it’s just short for Edith now. Have you heard of transsexuals?”

Steve shakes his head. “I’m pretty new to this. I know, like. Five words.”

“Well, easiest way to put it is that I was born a guy, but I feel more like a girl, so now I’m, like, switching.”

“Switching…” Steve says, trying his best to look genuinely interested and confused. He generally doesn’t struggle too hard to look confused, but he’s a little worried Eddie will think he’s being a dick about it. “You can do that?”

Eddie snorts, gesturing down to herself. “Clearly.”

“Huh,” Steve says. Frankly, this is blowing his mind. “Why doesn’t everyone do that, then? Like, no one likes being a guy.”

“Ye- wait, what?”

“Like, the sexism of being a girl would suck, obviously. But everything else sounds great! Like, you get prettier clothes and you can wear makeup- and girls are so nice to other girls, I've always been kind of jealous of that.”

Eddie looks shocked, but Steve's on a roll now, almost forgetting she's there as he continues thinking aloud. “And like. Girls’ bodies are just. Better, y'know? Like what do guys have, muscles? Girls can have muscles too, but girls are just so… like, everyone wants boobs, right?”

Eddie has a strange look on her face. “I mean, I do. Because I’m transsexual.”

“When you’re transsexual, do you get boobs? Like, do you- wait, is that rude? I feel like I wouldn’t ask another girl about her boobs.”

Eddie’s silent for a moment, looking at Steve in bewilderment, before she seems to collect herself. She takes a swig of her beer and then smiles at him. It looks both welcoming and like she’s in on a secret, and puts Steve at ease. He can see why the kids were so obsessed with her in high school.

“You know what, ordinarily it would be kind of rude, but I have a feeling this conversation is… not what I thought it was gonna be,” she says, and Steve tilts his head a bit in confusion. “So yeah, I do have boobs. You can take estrogen as a little pill, and it basically does puberty for you again. You get boobs, a little extra fat on your hips and thighs, and your skin gets softer. Here, feel.”

Laughing, Steve looks out over the crowd. “No, she’s real. Let me just let her know I’ll be gone for a moment- honestly she’s probably halfway to third base with some girl anyway-”

And sure enough, Robin is more than ready to let Steve wander off once he peels her off a pretty girl on the opposite side of the club. He rejoins Eddie, who leads him down the street towards her van and helps him into the back. She takes out her makeup bag, cracking jokes about their wildly different styles while she delicately brushes powder over his face. She generously refrains from threatening to take his eye out with the eyeliner pencil (more than once at least), and apologises for not having anything more ‘babygirl’ than her bright red lipstick. Steve can definitely say this is the most fun he’s ever had in the back of a van.

Finally, masterpiece done, Eddie rummages in her bag for a little compact, presenting it to Steve with a dumb little bow. Steve takes it with a roll of his eyes, and prepares himself with a deep breath.

The person in the mirror is beautiful. Glowing skin, huge doe eyes lined with smokey eyeliner and lashes a mile long, practically sinful lips. Steve almost doesn’t recognise himself, except that he does. He really, really does, in a way he now realises he never really has before. It’s the first time he’s ever looked at his face in the mirror and not wanted to change anything.

“You’re a really pretty girl, Stevie,” Eddie says with a gentle smile.

Steve can’t look away from the mirror. “Yeah,” she says, a red-lipped grin stretching across her face. “I really am.”

nikki doesn't smoke but he drinks, and when he noticed you stopped smoking suddenly (though you admit to smoking once or twice in the few weeks after finding out)

you tried to smoke, you saw pregnant women smoke all the time but when you tried it made your stomach hurt and made you wanna throw up

 but when you also denied his offer to share a bottle with him, he got curious.

“you quit smoking or something?” “I guess.” “..why?” “just don't feel like smoking.”

now when you eventually told him you were a couple weeks in, still in your first trimester and you knew miscarriage was possible but wasn't too educated on it.

you told him at a party. whatever or whoever's party, it didn't matter, Nikki was wild, you didn't feel good and you just wanted him.

you would try and pull him aside but bed probably get a little annoyed, and when you finally got him hed probably do that asshole thing people do and go like “what? you have all my attention now, what do you need? hm?”

your hormones are crazy, you'll get upset and tell him your pregnant and apologize, and he's looking at you like he lagged, he didn't move lol

now he feels bad for doing this, but hed probably walk away, not because you're pregnant but he needed another drink and to think.

you probably went home and he got home earlier than he would’ve and went to find you and talk to you.

he was a little upset you didn't tell him sooner and did eventually apologize for walking off.

and he really didn't know what to do and didn't think too far ahead until he knew if you guys were gonna keep it.

you wanted to keep it? he didn't say no but was tempted to try and talk you out of it but didn't, but there was a lot of “are you sure?”

best believe he told his grandparents nona and tom right away

during the pregnancy he kept you everywhere, shows, parties, everywhere

He was nervous and excited but really emotional.

hes always wanted to be a dad deep down, and now he was getting the chance to be in a child's life, even if he knew he wouldn't be perfect he wanted to at least be there and try unlike his own.

you guys probably lived in van nuys at the time, he tried to baby proof everything like a week before you're due but he was in the zone lmao

probably even tried to cover the windows with cardboard or something but that's just because of drugs. He took the cardboard down.

while in labor, you're freaking out, hes freaking out, you're angry because you should be the one freaking out, hes freaking out because hes not supposed to be freaking out but he is and you're mad and hes gonna be a dad.

and right when the baby's almost out and you're crushing his hand, Tommy and Vince just started pounding on the door since the nurse's wouldn't let them in and you couldn't make out what they were saying but you didn't care, you hated everybody right now.

boom, baby was born and he stopped freaking out, the nurses took him for an examination and he stayed right next to you but was always looking at the baby.

he cried a little and wasn't ashamed.

hed wipe you off and tell you you did a good job.

when he finally got to hold the baby the nurses had to show him how to hold it a couple times before actually letting him.

he was so stiff and the baby was so small and he didn't know what to do besides slightly bouncing the baby in his arms even though it wasn't crying that much, it felt like it was just him and the baby in the room, looking down at his green eyes and could already tell it had your lips.

he's smiling and slowly walks over to you so you both could be with the baby.

nikkis a happy man and not a perfect dad but he tries harder than ever.

you wanna watch Sophies choice again? he'll tell you to be careful because you'll make the baby depressed (he also doesn't wanna watch it again)

if you're feeling insecure, hes your hype man even before you were pregnant. He'll probably buy lingerie for you and have you give him a fashion show, and he's shouting and clapping even though its midnight and its only you two. (three)

payed people to make a nursery so you wouldn't have to wory about it and he could be with you, but you both would spend all this time picking the wall paper, what color wood, what crib, etc.

throughout the pregnancy hes kissing your stomach, gets caught trying to play your boobs like bongos, picking everything up for you, gets you a pool floaty so you can lay on your stomach.

also cooks all this Greek food to see if you would like it.

also 100% takes turns with the guys playing songs on a Walkman and putting the headphones on your stomach, mick thinks its so silly and plays dirty songs.

tommy would have zero nervousness until your in the hospital. 

you're having contractions and he's trying to time them “1, 2, 3- wait wait wait” and doesn't know what he's doing.

he had everybody there, his parents, his sister, the band if they could make it and even called your family for you.

while you're giving birth his hands are on you and he fights the urge to pull his hand away because you're squeezing so hard, probably going “come on, come on! almost, baby!” all while trying to look at the action going on down there.

when the baby was born and they put it on your chest hes in awe, his hands on his head and leaning over you to see the baby, then he's going and thanking the doctors and the nurses trying to hug them.

he was so happy and nervous when he got to cut the cord, looking down at the baby and going “this is crazy, dude.” talking to both him and the baby

when the baby is a little older and its been home for a while, Tommy would not put that baby down.

the baby's on his lap and hes moving its its little arms with its balled up fists and making hes making little drum sounds like it was playing drums

hes definitely the one to get up when the baby cries at night but then it turns to rock paper scissors and making chore exchanges.

I see tommy being a girl dad, but would probably freak out and think about all those groupies hes been with and go “holy shit, I did that to someone's daughter”

if you had a son and its a little older like a toddler hed make a little fort with the couch cushions and a blanket, and when you try and join tommy goes “no mommies allowed!” followed with little giggles, Tommy and the son have a little meeting and eventually settled on a password for you to guess and then you can come in.

Omgggg I just saw your Striker post about all the theories AND YOU GET ITTTTTT

The recent surge in Striker has royal blood bc of Satan’s reveal has been wild bc we haven’t even seen the dude’s face to truly confirm if they look alike (but ppl are saying so anyway). Like I’m not against this theory entirely, I think there’s a couple ways it COULD work but everything you said about it diminishing so much of Striker’s character and story HITS THE NAIL ON THE HEAD because that’s exactly what this would do.

So much of Striker’s character has been built around his vendetta, his hatred for bluebloods, his reputation, and how’s he’s an example of just how bad things in Hell can get for an Imp like him BECAUSE of them being on the bottom of the hierarchy.

His story fits better as just some dude who wants more for himself because he feels he deserves more than what scraps are handed to him but the society he lives in just constantly beats him down despite his efforts (or the narrative in some cases LMAO). He wants so desperately to be somebody in a world where he’s forced to be nobody at the bottom. It’s why he admired Blitz back HMF for building his own business.

The fact he’s still grieving and is still very angry over what happened to him to the point he physically and violently reacts whenever his hypocrisy is called out (Stolas & Fizz) shows that things go deeper than simply not getting a parents approval or being abandoned.

Not to mention if Striker had blue blood in him, you would think he’d have some strings to pull to not live in the cave he resides in or he’d be recognized more outside of his wanted posters.

There’s just a lot that this idea contradicts about Striker’s character that we already know and I’m so glad you put it into words.

Just wanted to add my two cents and this got so long omg i’m sorry, striker’s taken up so much of my brain space the last couple years LMAOO

And basically this yeah. Turning it into more daddy issues would be a huge disservice. We got enough characters to explore that already so it's even less compelling to have another repeat of it. Also the extra reasons it would make no sense and create plotholes as you mentioned 👌

I did indeed also start writing the post out of frustration for this latest theory that has been getting traction with Satan and Striker and ended up including everything I've found off putting over time.

I really hope the actual show doesn't go that route cause it would be messy and very unsatisfying and I'll be the first to admit that hellaverse writing falls into underwhelming writing choices all too often despite all its merits and I basically don't trust it 100%

If we're talking purely visual, I can think of a few things: most notably, Sanders' birthmark, Obi's collar and Kallen's loose feathers

For Sanders' birthmark, I don't blame anyone on forgetting really, I only draw it half the time myself because I keep omitting it lmao 😭 Though it is nonetheless part of his design, and a pretty symbolic one, too..? It's like a little leftover of his previous design back when he was an anthro cat. It adds some charm :> Obi's collar is a topic that I discuss almost every bloody chance I get, but I feel like it still keeps slipping under the radar. The dogfolk has a whole subculture based around the collar and its' studs, so I always make it a point to make sure people remember - his collar's studs are round and dull when he's dating (Sherman, hehe), but spiky when he's single!! While it's a really pretty metaphor about softening up around those you love, it's also just a cultural quirk there -w-" Kallen's loose feathers is a detail that everyone unfortunately keeps forgetting, which I really find to be a shame since it's part of his character arc!! The birdfolk needs to preen their feathers, in order to not let them fly loose like that, but it's usually harder to do without a partner. And at first, during the story Kallen just! Doesn't do it! He's too busy, doesn't care and despite being married he's still kind of single, so they just fly around all wild. (It makes little sense if we apply logic to it, yadda yadda makes it easier to identify him if he leaves his feathers all around the sniping spot I DON'T CARE. I DON'T CARE HE PICKS THEM UP OR SOMETHING LET ME LIVE IN FANTASY LAND LALALA) Only when he warms up to Ulysses does he actually get some decent self-care, so the amount of feathers flying around him kind of decreases along with his "living weapon" mentality. Please I hope people notice it more :"") While we're on the topic of Kallen, I hope to draw him smiling more in the future... x")

i think what i am getting from most of this discourse about how you a distinguish a couple, or tkk being real, whatever whatever, is about having faith lmaoo.

i fully admit i am a delulu when it comes to tkk, i see their interactions and i can easily tell they're different you just have to know how to spot it. you can tell if you already know. but at the same time, most of my army friends will watch the same interaction and be like "wow they are such good friends!" now idk if they are turning a blind eye to the obviousness or they simply just don't see it and me being a closeted believer would be like "yeahhhh haha"

now i'm thinking maybe it's because i am a believer that i can see them differently than others. it is kinda like believing in a religion, no matter what any other religion/person says you will rarely ever lose your faith. or suppose if you're atheist/agnostic then no one can convince you to have faith

so what i think is that other "shippers" will hold on to their faith and continue to believe that their ship is the truth and in the same way we will continue to believe in ours.

😂 I very often wonder about the amount of hidden Tkkrs amongst fandom. There’s such a stigma on being a Tkkr that I think many just don’t dare to mention it amongst their seemingly neutral army friends. I know I won’t easily talk about it to people I don’t know whether they are Tkkrs or not.

I think there’s a few things important to be able to see. Acceptance and support of queerness, knowledge about the amount of closeting in the music industry, knowledge about SK’s ideas about queerness, an understanding of Sk culture as a whole, an understanding of what adult long term relationships look like, and an understanding of Tae and Jk as persons.

I’m an atheist (one who is not going to get into a theological debate on here 😂) and for me your comparison with religion does not really hold. I think it will be really easy to make people stop believing in Tae and Jk as a couple. Without wanting to insult, for me personally I believe in Tae and Jk because of what I can see and witness myself and I don’t think that’s what religion is based on (again… I’m an atheist 😬).

Yeah I would not advise people to become a Tkkr 😂😂. Personally I do love it here, but it’s also a very wild and emotional ride most of the time.

Pat-Pats connection to Glamrock Bonnie?

Okay, so I for one- like barley post at all so.. hello, haha! But this has been on my mind since I finished watching all the gameplays for ruin and I just NEED to know if anyone has the same thoughts. (I haven't seen anyone mention this so I am taking it upon myself!)

So for starters, Bonnie has ALWAYS been my favorite, since like, FOREVER. And I was foaming at the mouth at his tiny mention in SB, but I never thought we'd get to see my poor boi again after discovering that he was decommissioned :(

Our only clues about him came in the duffle bags in SB that Gregory would find around the PizzaPlex, which stated his last known location being Gator Golf after going MISSING, the re-branding issue, ect.

But we ACUTALLY got to see his body in RUIN! Which was behind Bonnie Bowl? Hmmm, sus. >:0

Now I'm not even going to try to say I didn't make the most animalistic noises when I saw him again- (and his adorable official design!!) but the one thing that caught mostly everyone's eyes was that our bunny was SURROUNDED by Pat-pats! (Yes me finally getting to the point of my ramble lmaoo)

Now I for one, was also riding The Gator Behind the Slaughter train. We just didn't have enough clues for it to have been ANYONE ELSE. Besides maybe our girl Vanny lmao...

Until now... NOW HEAR ME OUT!

I got this theory after listening to Dawko's videos about the Mimic.. which was INSANE to learn about! (I never read any of the books xD)

(But I'll let you watch that if you wish <3 I highly recommend for anyone who wants to learn more about the Mimic!)

I read someone's post about this also. (So so sorry for not remembering their name jshjshsj.) About how strange it was that in one of the duffle bag messages, it mentions how Bonnie LEFT his room to go walk around the Plex WAY after closing time. He took a one hour trip to the Fazcade, before taking another hour an a half to get to Montys Golf, where he was last seen. Taking him around 3 hours tops to just WALK around the Plex?? An EMPTY Pizza Plex??

Yeah I'd admit, this is weird. It didnt take Gregory or Freddy THAT LONG to zoom around the PizzaPlex in SB, so what took Bonnie so long?

Now for my theory..

I think someone lured Bonnie on a wild goose chase around the Plex, using the Pat-Pats as bait.

And I think that SOMEONE wasn't Vanny or even a Infected Monty.

It was the Mimic.

Now let me explain.

All throughout Ruin, we see these still functioning Pat-Pats throughout the Pizza Plex. And ONLY with the mask on, they emit a weird crying noise that stops only when shut down.

Even when Cassie was at the Daycare, there was a Pat-Pat there. Could It have been emitting that child crying noise? If so, why? If not to lure someone to that area.

Now if Bonnie is anything like our beloved bear is, he would've def heard this and went to investigate.

But if that's the case, why didn't the other animatronics hear it too?

When Cassie put on the Vanny Mask, she was connected to the Network.. she heard voices from the Pat-Pats AND from the Mimic/Fake Gregory the whole night, even without the mask on 24/7.

Bonnie, being a animatronic himself- is always connected to the Network most likely, therefore enabling the Mimic to reach into that same Network to trick him. We've seen it seemingly disable M.X.E.S for a short period of time, why couldn't he mimic the cry's of the people he's killed through the Pat-Pats?

But why would it want Bonnie in particular?

Now this MIGHT be a bit of a stretch, since I'm not entirely sure if the Mimics systems could be the same as the program in Glitch-Trap in the Help Wanted VR game. (Who was mimicking Afton.) But Bonnie is a Bunny, if not the same kind of design as all the Bonnies in the past. (Duh lol) But It could be a possibility that in a effort to mimic whatever was left of William, it wanted to steal Bonnies parts. (Therefore when not defeating princess quest in SB gets you a Mimic Afton?? Idk I'm spitballing here LMAO) But since PQ in mostly likely the canon ending after all, this doesn't hold completely. It could be a random attempt to lure ANY animatronic to a place where it could dismember them to steal their parts to repair itself after the sinkhole finally freed it. Who knows for sure!

But unfortunately our favorite bunny bites the dust for being so caring. :(

But what does this have to do with the Pat-Pats surrounded Bonnie behind Bonnie Bowl?

Well, perhaps after totaling Bonnie, the Mimic hid him. Which explains why the reports are saying he's MISSING. Like how a predator would hide its kill for later. This leads us down 3 paths.

The Pat-Pats were places there to keep emitting that noise to keep bonnie quiet and deactivated. Via why his eyes are the same color as the Pat-Pats.

The Pat-Pats are no longer connected to the Mimic and are trying to help Bonnie in a way. By leading someone to HIM instead of the Mimic. In a almost ironic way lmao.

They could also be working as our bunny boi's eyes, which means if he was truly still semi-functional, he was watching us all thoughout SB and Ruin. And shutting them down could maybe reactivate bonnie if not accidently make him dormant for now, oops lol.

I was also wondering how the Mimic knew the layout of the Pizzaplex. This could be because he was connected to the Network before hand? Or he could've stole some chip of some-kind out of Bonnie after smashing his head in with a bowling ball. We do see Bonnie in pieces.. ex. being his arms and legs seemingly pulled outward. Like how the mimic would rip his victims apart, while smashing their heads. (Would this give Bonnie amnesia if awakened again? Ooo the Angst potential! Heheh xD)

When caught by the Mimic, we see Cassie suffer that same fate. Along with the Mimic seemingly clawing at her aswell. Just like how Bonnie is clawed open.

There is no doubt in my mind that we don't see our favorite bunny active again, he's in too good condition still if not BETTER condition than the others! If Cassie doesn't reactivate him or maybe someone else imma riot! xD

Of course this is just a theory of mine, just for funsies <3

I agree, and yes both of my parents are hoarders lol and that was a bit of a nightmare since we already had a teeny tiny house, I shared a room with both of my sisters and we had no room to even walk on the floor lmaoo, but hey I like that we were close. Whenever I feel bad I always remember that in a tribal setting we would've been doing golden lol- close knit, very safe since if something happened to any of us we're literally right next to each other.

I'll say my Naks but it might expose me lmao because I talk about stuff on here too, but that's okay. I'm not trying to be too secretive. I'm Jyeshta Sun, Rohini Moon. I do have Mars in Uttarabhadrapada which is interesting.

My upbringing was kinda weird, kinda beautiful in some ways but by modern standards it was rough- I have a hard time saying it was bad because I know I was loved in a lot of ways too and that's more than some people can ask for. Just abusive shenanigans, but abuse can be weird because abuse isn't always as simple as someone just being terrible- like it's never okay but I mean, the same person who abuses you can also be the person who throws you birthday parties and makes them super magical and genuinely loves you. My mum in particular had a rough life herself, at 6 years old she immigrated to Australia and not long after was put into a children's home run by nuns because her mum was deemed unfit or something. She's Bharani Moon of course.

I went a bit wild when I was around 14 because I wanted to do anything I could to escape from home, so I would hang around a lot of strange men and drug people since they're aaalways out- after school, 2am, 12pm; there's always a group of a few of them around the area just messing around. So I could simply sneak out and go hang out with them lol. I guess I craved the adventure too, but most of all I just didn't want to go home. Even though we were not well off, we lived in a very wealthy area so I didn't relate to most of the kids around, I think that's part of why I gravitated towards the 'junkies'. They understood rougher conditions a bit better.

I ended up getting taken advantage of a few times which made me veer away from that scene for good, stop smoking weed, etc. but I was still looking for some way to get away from home.

I ended up in a relationship with a 30 year old man when I was 15, I stopped going to school much and started living with him. It was ghetto lol...

My mum passed away, so my sisters and I had to move states to be taken in by a relative. I was about to be 18 by that point so I had a choice on whether or not to come, but I was like bruh I'm not having my little sisters in a different state to me, that's madness- so I came along. Our relative was really strict and religious. She's lowkey rich but not the kindest person. She told me that I had to either get a job or study, or I'm not allowed to live there. I tried working and stuff but everything was just too fresh, I couldn't do much without crying :') so I was a dumb dumb and I decided maybe if I became a *dancer*, I could make money fast so that I could move out. I didn't end up doing it, I realised I'm too shy and sensitive for that kinda thing- I got on the stage for like a minute and had to get off because it was so spooky. The eyes of all the men, yikes.

Anyway, I got kicked out for the dancing thing and just in general being scandalous (by a religious rich lady's standards lol- bless her), and that's how I became homeless since I was in a new state and had nowhere to go that I knew- but it was for the best!!! I got taken in by a refuge, and they were so kind to me. I got so attached to the workers, they cared for us and treated us with such kindness.

Eventually I got a place on my own within the system. Then I met my partner & moved in with him to be freed from my ghetto life (jk I kinda love my life).

Sorry if this is very erratic, I'm never sure how to tell the story in a clear cut concise manner. I feel like it's going to take me a lifetime to sort out how I feel about a lot of things, but at the end of the day I'm not sure it even matters.

Just gotta keep making art, keep learning and loving, life is good- and people are strange, lol 💓💓

but also I will say as someone who has been in multiple abusive situations with very "loving" people, it can be very confusing to wrap your head around why someone can be so sweet, loving and kind one minute and tear you apart over nothing and yk...be aBusiVe the next minute. the truth is nobody irl acts like a textbook villain, the people who are capable of immense cruelty are the regular seeming people all around us. it took me so long to cut off toxic people because i always tried to justify it with "oh but they're also sooo kind and generous...." yada yada yada but its unhealthy to be around someone who is unpredictable.

My toxic ex bestie would imply I'm a whore today and then bring me muffins she baked at home tomorrow, if someone praised me in front of her, she'd stop talking to me for the rest of the day, sometimes she'd skip classes the next day and switch off her phone and i'd feel sick to my stomach with anxiety over her unpredictable behaviour and then she'd bring me earrings she bought for me??? and take me out to lunch?? crazy times but i think a lot of abusive people kind of overcompensate for their meanness with loving actions. they feel guilty so they overdo it and then the cycle continues. i've always felt bad about labelling certain experiences as "toxic" bc like you said i feel like it could be worse or that it wasn't so bad but at the end of the day "loving abuse" is still abuse.
