Not stupid at all!! It was a doodle I initially did for a friend so I didnt need to elaborate much for her, but it does warrant an explanation now!

Are you familiar with the traffic light system used in BDSM? Many people use safe words, but there's as many systems as there are couples. Sometimes it's not just "go" or "stop", so some people will settle on red, yellow, or green for varying degrees of severity essentially.

Obviously that's a bit of a problem when Satoru is unable to get a word out (be that due to overwhelm, neurodivergence, subspace, dick too bomb, or any and all combinations of these) and he will instead sign one to five on one hand, one being disastrous and five being perfectly fine! The scale is a better metric for Suguru to adjust whatever he's doing.

there’s this one comic ae’ve been trying to find that ae’ve only ever seen two pages of, but it’s a pretty unique concept so y’know. you’d know it if you saw it

basically, it’s a sea grunks era comic where the stan twins come across the hand witch again. they strike a deal with her, essentially trading her ford’s hands for a five-fingered pair of hands. ford’s ecstatic at first, talking about how he’s ‘normal’ now and he can go buy gloves now and…he falls silent and looks to stan with just. such a sad expression. and stan’s goes ‘i knew you’d miss ‘em. let’s go get our sixer back!’

in the off chance ae never find it and the comic never went beyond that, it’s still a really interesting concept and ae like the direction they seemed to be going with it and ae think it’s worth sharing with you all regardless ^^
