Now is like any other time, just finishing having a big argument over nothing, Matt calling you all types of names like “stupid, ignorant, weak, bitch, whore etc.” Matts been gone for almost an hour now, you laid curled up in your shared bed still crying. When you hear the bedroom door open.

You quickly sit up wiping the tears away from your face. “Baby, I’m sorry. You know I didn’t mean it. You know I love you.” He says walking over sitting beside you. You dont respond bringing your knees to your chest. “Hey…. I mean it im sorry” he says pulling you into his chest kissing the top of your head.

“You really hurt my feelings Matt, you always do.” You say while sniffling “shhh I know and I’m sorry…. I mean it.” And for some reason it makes you cry more, because you want to believe he’s sorry but you know the same shit will happen again tomorrow. “Y’look so pretty when your cryin.” He says wiping the tears from your face. You move your face looking away from him.

“This isnt healthy Matt, you’re really mean to me, when all I do is love you. But I guess its my fault too because I should’ve left a long time ago.” You say finally looking at him. “Is that what you want? Do you wanna leave me baby?” He asks searching your eyes for an answer “no…” you respond back in a whisper.

“I love you Matt, and as much as I know I should leave I cant. Im too deep in and thats my mistake.” You say tears dropping down your face. “Sometimes our relationship feels like one big risk i should have never taken.” You add on. “I know baby and im sorry. Ill be better. Ill stop taking my anger out on you. I love you so so much baby.” He says wiping the remainder of the tears of your face.

Matt wasn’t perfect hell neither were you. But you both held onto something that should have been long gone by now. And maybe in the end

Matt was the one that should’ve got away.

i'm back again with yet another paul hair appreciation post! i loved making it last year and so ive been thinking about it all year and collecting pics 🥰 last year i remember having to search really hard fo some of the pics – two weekends i even had only three pics 😭 but this year i've really had to kill my darlings because i've deleted so so many pics that i like just bcs i didn't want to make this too overwhelming... and i still ended up over 300 pictures..... 😶

Remember that Highschool Bully AU I was talking about? Well here’s what i wanna do:

Scraping the idea of Julie running a hate blog online, changing it! She’s head cheerleader lol! She pretends to be nice to the teachers and such, but to the other *students shes vile!! Shes like two different people depending on if a teacher is present.

Frank is also a suck up to the teachers. He’s the best student in every class, top in grades and everything!! >:D! He’s the president of the photography club, which gives him an excuse to carry a camera everywhere. He uses it to snap embarrassing photos of people and get them into the newspaper, speaking of!

Eddie runs the newspaper club! He also pretends to be a sweetheart the teachers, but also posts the embarrassing photos of people in the paper and rumors n such >:3c he and Frank work together to make ppls life miserable, couple goals

Sally is the president of the Drama club! She’s incredibly authoritative and has an absolute power trip every day in the club. If she doesnt like you, you’re not getting a good role. If you have a good role, cherish it! The second you say something against Sally or any of her friends, shes recasting you. She regularly gives people embarrassing and unnecessary roles just to humiliate them. Like a tree or… grass lmao

Howdy is the mythic bitch here, the scariest guy >:D he’s the tallest strongest guy yknow, a jock! Star player! Bc yknow.. 8 feet tall and 4 arms. Bc hes so big and scary n such he regularly steals from ppl and they cant really do anything about it. He jsut picks people up and throws them, grabs backpacks and kicks people out of them, throws ppl in trash cans and locks them in like everything. Hes mean as fuck.

Barnaby is also on the.. sports team.. but hes not as good as Howdy. Hes a jokester but his jokes are always at the expense of others and normally goes too far. He doenst shake ppl up as much as Howdy does, but he watches and laughs, and Frank records sometimes

Remember when I said I scrapped Julies hate blog? I actually gave it to Poppy! She’s too shy to be mean in real life, and instead hides behind a screen. Her blog is called “Ann Onumouys” (pronounced anonymous lol). Pretty much everyone knows its her, but the teachers turn a blind eye… >.>

Now.. Wally. Wally is pretty much the same lil guy :3 he still hangs out with them all, and theyre all genuinely friends! Hes like their little nice mascot! He doesnt understand that they bully ppl- hes also the reason they dont get in trouble.

Home is the principal and also Wallys guardian! Home is fully aware that Wallys friends bully others, but he will not expel or suspend or anything, bc his friends keep him calm and happy. So he just.. turns a blind eye so that they continue to make Wally happy.

totally fine i love getting asks !!!!!!! this may not be what you're looking for though bc my feelings on this show are deeply deeply deeply conflicted this is gonna be practically an essay.

despite it all i am obsessed w rini. childhood friends to lovers????????? exes to lovers??????????? the whole idea of just for a moment????? i'm a sucker for when the lines blur between feelings and they hit THREE DIFFERENT VERSIONS OF THAT?????? ive never been over them. it probably makes more sense for ricky's character with letting go and all that and nini not wanting to be held down but. they developed them too well in s1 i fell too hard in love with them. i wonder a lot like if there was a way to keep their relationship andi think there is, the writers just didn't execute it to its fullest. and if they wanted me to ship someone else they didn't do a good job lol they made the rini dynamic too compelling to me just for a moment destroys me every time

2. my season ranking is exactly the same as the release order HJSFDGHJKDSL. ill keep my thoughts on the seasons brief bc if i give all of my thoughts this post will be 700 words long. s1 is so fun with a manageable cast, s2 has some really great bits but suffers from circumstance (pandemic mainly), s3 was also bad circumstance in a way (olivia leaving) but i think they just made bad decision at this point things that were easily avoidable, and i never watched s4 bc everything i heard ab it made me more mad (one exception being ashyln's storyline sounding kinda interesting). also during the s3 finale i got so pissed i literally walked out of the room GHDJSFJGHDS so yeah i didnt watch s4

3. yk i havent really thought ab this but i think it might be nini. i really love olivia's music and it means a lot to me as a south east asian person to see rep like that on tv. ashyln's also pretty great though. least favorite???? probably one of the new kids in s2 from the rival school i truly did not give a shit ab them if im being real. i dont care much for the new characters (though jet and maddox are fun) i am here for my original theater kid friends

4. im interpreting this as original songs so here we go in no order: just for a moment, wondering, i think i kinda you know, rose song, let you go. my rini lover is really showing in this lol but i havent listened to a lot of them in a while so my opinions will prob change if i listen to it again

5. oooooh good question. i cant think of an original song i dislike rn so as a cop out im just gonna say scream lol. i dont blame josh for that bc like why did the director allow that take for the final scream to be used. who allowed the sound mixing to be exported like that. there was so much that couldve been done to make it even slightly better....... and some of it is josh i wont lie (which makes me think what if they cast someone else as the lead like a callback to s1 w ricky taking troy from ej??? for lack of of better phrasing) just baffling decisions all around

6. FAVORITE ONE WAS HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL NO CONTEST. rewatched this and i thought it lined up so so so so so well with the story happening to the characters outside the show it was great. my favorite detail has always been the lockers still having the measurements on it bc it just adds to the high school production vibe. i dont think i disliked any of the productions (though tbf. i cannot remember much from the other productions its been a long time) i love live theater and i dont think i could truly hate any of their productions. maybe ill be proven wrong one day but rn i love live performance too much to hate any of them. im a shrek the musical defender

7. oh boy im gonna have to tag for this. i think its perfectly fine if you ship them im not gonna be pissed or anything but im not a rina fan. i fell hard for rini and i thought portwell was cool in s2 and while im open to most ships in this show, i really couldnt get on board w rina. it might have to do w the fact that i experienced s2 lurking on tumblr and a bunch of people were in the rini tag actively bashing the ship (to be fair. not unwarranted bc the story for rini in s2 makes me sad lol) and i just got really annoyed every time i saw someone putting down rini to put rina up. im not immune to this though ive done the same thing in reverse. rina just never gave me the ship spark and when they pushed them together during s3 my blood pressure rose every single week HDSFJGHSD yeah whenever i see a rina thing for s4 i get irrationally mad but thats just bc of the INSANE writing decisions. like why do you writers keep breaking up couples you just decided to pair up its BAFFLING i dont get it

8. not sure if any are unpopular opinions i have bc im pretty out of the fandom. i guess not liking rina is an unpopular opinion????? i remember when rini was the top ship on ao3 so i was genuinely surprised when i checked today to look for more fics and saw that they were top

9. now that i think ab it i think i really like the s2 soundtrack. i obviously love s1 deeply but if i answer s1 for all of this its gonna be boring. but i think olivia's voice sounds really great in s2 specifically and i think about a lot of the covers all the time. favorite covers are home, the climb, and if i can't love her. havent listened to any of these since i saw s2 but i think ab them often bc theyre that good.

re original songs: i think the characters leveled up their songwriting here shout out to let you go and rose song <333 and even when/the best part is pretty basic but i thought it was cute esp bc i play the ukulele and i learned i think i kinda you know after s1.

What's a WIP that you want to finish but don't think you ever will? never say never but probably the seongjoong royalty au. i had it planned and everything but then people started discoursing around eden and the planned ending i wrote was potentially too topical, so i waited and then i lost steam.

What are your writing strengths? flow i think? ive always been pretty good at keeping things moving at a good pace. i edit myself a lot (and practice editing on some actual published books too!) so its become second nature to chop and change and move things around.

What are your writing weaknesses? actually writing. just kidding. probably that when i get stuck on something i tend to focus only on the fact that im stuck and cannot continue until i have unstuck myself

What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic? depends on what is meant my this! if it's about honorifics in dialogue (eg, hyung, -chan, dajie etc) i support it, since a lot don't translate well to english. Same with terms of endearment like -ito and -ie. if it's whole dialogue, it really depends. am i supposed to be able to understand the dialogue? is it something that could've been written just as well with 'he says, in [language]', does the author understand what they're writing, is it a text based or verbal conversation? does the pov character understand what's being said? (personally the best way to have dialogue in other languages is if the pov character isn't supposed to understand it. but always be aware that a native speaker of that language may still read the fic)

this is based on your most recent art on twitter im just asking here because im shy lol. do you hc that peter got more thoroughly introduced to kink when his and miguels situationship began or was he already pretty kinky beforehand?

I like when Peter embodies the everyman in terms of character archetype, all my favorite depictions of him are the ones who invest in that portrayal and make him a mix of bitter/awkward/hopeful down-to-earth guy without leaning too much into militarism or sillicon valley or CEO superstar or any of that other bullshit -- long way of saying i think he's a *commendable flirt* and has a Streak of flunked relationships but he's not all that savy with it. Like not at all lmfao. Hes the guy in ur neighborhood who pulls chicks by telling them jokes and kinda has game but seems content enough in his comfort zone.

Part of Miguel's character pitch is that he is "a reversal" of peter in fundamental ways, the original intent was to make a spider-man who was quiet in costume and snarky as his humansona, sort of dark and brooding, had an adversarial relationship with his city, had a troubled relationship w/ his family as opposed to Peter's loving supportive aunt, got weird fucked up powers in adulthood in contrast to how peter gets a bunch of helpful power-ups as a teenager that improve his self image, etc etc..

Miguel is 1) a cutting edge scientist from decades in the future & 2) a transgender fag.

I think him introducing things to peter is unavoidable, but in a much broader sense his sex life was always far more complicated. Miguel is A Lot More Used to having toys or gadgets to get around simply bc of the genital conundrum; he cant just pull out his dick and go. Peter has heard and used kink related buzzwords in a jokey context but he is in every way a pretty normal guy LOL. Superman is canonically kinkier than peter parker by genuine mile (chains, whips, leather, etc) and that should tell you a lot.

I think its really fun to have a dynamic where miguel is this huge break from what peter has grown to expect, and he LIKES experimentation - he's still a scientist, even if he never did the postgrad - peter is willing to play into a lot of stuff he's not done before, and that classifies in many ways as non-traditional sex. (Or might not even be explicit sex at all, re: puppy play) I dont even think they have strict top/bottom roles its more of a convenience thing. Whatever happens.

Miguel likes doting on him, Peter enjoys being doted on; in that context you can even get peter being so swept away by this newfound free zone that he's the one going 'oh have we ever done X?' and it definitely helps that miguel is just as strong and flexible as he is, if not freakier. In sum i think miguel teaches him how to scissor even as a cis boy

so uh i sliced my finger open with an exacto knife-

i was at gifted class and i was making a cardboard sink for our tiny homes project. i was cutting the hole in the middle and was trying to be very precise of how far it went bc it cant cut through the sides and i accidentally sliced it straight through the cardboard and the top of my left thumb. my teacher got me to wrap it up in paper towel and then she took me to the office where this dude (hes the grade 8 teacher of that school, i dont go there only once a week for gifted class) and he brought out the MEDKITS and i was like "is it really that bad-"

but yeah it was bleeding a lot and the guy's like "u might need to get 1 stitch in that corner there" which lets pray i dont lol. it got disinfected (ouch) and bandaided and wrapped in gauze and bandaided AGAIN and then the secretary called my mom to pick me up just incase there was any complications.

hiii i got a little insane over haskills characterization in the other elder scrolls games / material. teehee rambling abt these ^ quotes under the cut (long). also im not that serious abt any of this tbh im just glad haskill appeared in any other elder scrolls material at all LOL

OKAY. okay. about these quotes. idk why other TES media does this, but in these quotes from elder scrolls legends + the interview with haskill it seems like the writers are pushing to give the impression that haskill slightly resents or is even indifferent to his position / the isles / sheogorath ?? (unless haskill is being a little bit more flippant or hyperbolic than usual...?) which is characterization that is NOT what i got from playing oblivion at all skdskdjfn

like... when i played oblivion i thought it was very clear that haskill prefers to be in the isles, serving sheogorath, more than anywhere else. (<- i think this is actually the reason he's technically "mad" even tho he seems sane outwardly. if you enjoy being among madmen it probably means you're mad yourself ykwim). i think haskill does like the isles, his ass is just reserved abt it, like he is about everything... yknow just like jeeves, whose character he's been compared to lmao:)

i think unfortunately some writers take his annoyance with the player and his slight second thoughts about sheogorath's plan in oblivion, and mistakenly assume that he's just annoyed at his whole position. haskill does have his moments of exasperation, but the thing is it's usually only exasperation and it never verges into anger or bitterness or resentment like the top quotes seem to indicate. for example, haskill says this abt his idea of you mantling sheo / the clowns debacle:

^ This quote is a good reference point for haskill's view on sheo bc its pretty much the most critical-of-sheogorath quote from oblivion i can recall, and it tells us a lot of things. in this quote he expresses some exasperation about the clown idea (because he's a prissy bitch who doesn't want to get his outfit dirty /affectionate) and shows some apprehension about one of his lord's ideas (because it involves you, and haskill doesnt like you). but these 2 points he has beef with aren't really reflective of sheo himself but of other issues - ie he doesn't directly question sheogorath. and IN THE END Haskill defers to sheo's judgement because haskill trusts him and values sheo's ideas. in all of his oblivion dialogue, this is the most critical toward sheogorath he gets, and he never outright insults or shows resentment toward him or the isles like in the above quotes bc his loyalty to sheogorath eclipses it

on the contrary (and i dont know why the writers for non-oblivion elder scrolls content dont seem to see this??), theres so much evidence that haskill actually does, you know,,, enjoy being in the isles. here are just some snippets i can think of:

"the isles are hardly a place for anyone, really" <- i BEG to differ, Haskill likes it here, he likes listening to prisoners being tortured in xedillian, he likes wearing his ridiculous frilly high collar outfit emblematic of the fashions of the isles, he doesn't care about morality and it suits him just fine that it doesn't matter here!! (the end quote might be him being a little facetious about relmyna but to be honest i wouldn't be surprised if he thought decency and morality WERE provincial notions because he certainly has no problem killing people lmao). and again, to enjoy doing these things / being around madmen probably says something abt haskill being mad himself. lol

not to mention he likes a bit of joking around. which i imagine sheo does a whole lot. when YOU rib him a little he says this:

his derision in the first bit i think indicates, "i cant believe you would joke around at a time like this," and the upturning of the "very good" i think indicates, "it was a good joke / maybe they could mantle sheo after all". he's not all dour - he appreciates a good joke, especially from (someone who's about to become) his Lord!!

and going a little deeper into haskill actually liking the isles... haskill clearly holds what sheogorath and the isles represent (chaos, free will, individuality) very highly. a good example of this is when you ask him about dyus, and he gives this snarky reply:

^ he says this with such VITRIOL its so funny :p and the amount of disdain in this line indicates (to me) a real conviction in his belief in the free will, chaos etc that sheogorath represents.

this is why i dont think this quote makes sense. "i cant remember why i put up with [sheogorath]" <- haskill wouldnt say this bc he understands fully why he puts up w sheogorath, and his own convictions in sheo that lead him to keep doing it, and even if this quote is him being hyperbolic, i dont think he'd joke about his faith in sheogorath like that because, yk, one of his characteristics is that he's extremely loyal, and moreover he never said anything to this effect in oblivion sdkjskdjs

him having a strong belief in what sheogorath / the isles represent is also evidenced by the language haskill uses when talking about sheo. whenever haskill mentions him, there is an element of poetry and respect to his words that shows that haskill thinks about him highly at the very least:

^ haskill constantly stresses sheogorath's intrinsic unknowableness and power and unique wisdom in a way that feels very respectful. saying "to attempt to fathom [sheogorath's will] is a foolish endeavor" shows that he knows there are unexplainable aspects to sheogorath that he takes note of, respects, and knowingly keeps his distance from... he gets sheogorath and reveres him (at least more than most others or the HoK). in these quotes especially, it feels a bit like hes trying to illustrate how impressive sheogorath is to the HoK, hyping up his boyfriend if you would. who said that. and combined with this respect is (i believe!!!!) a deep care. he is invested in the isles and sheo and wants to help them out of more than just duty. he gets fearful and even loses his composure at some points in the story when sheo/the isles are threatened which i think indicates that he deeply cares for them both!!:

i think this is a care that, combined with the respect he has for sheo, makes it really unlikely for him to get more than exasperated with his behavior and verge into resentfulness. i dont think anyone truly understands sheogorath, not even haskill, but haskill respects sheo as a god, and also gets him in a more familiar/personal way i think - like the way that a cat owner loves their cat but gets exasperated with it when it gets its head stuck in a tissue box. he doesn't angry or anything because he understands that it's the cat's nature to get stuck in the tissue box / sheo's nature to be wild and unpredictable and messy. (the difference being that sheogorath is an all-powerful god cat..... do u see my vision???)

anyway this got crazy long JHDSHFSD... to finish i wanted to look at this extra bit of characterization i found that was wild to me:

^ like. i truly dont get where they got THIS characterization LMAO sheo constantly calls haskill faithful and smart and knowledgeable in oblivion, he practically begs you to summon haskill for help, hyping up his boyfriend so to speak, they care for each other your honor so of COURSE sheo trusts haskill to do his job. what are the legends writers doing in there!!

Like a Waltz is top 3 best series I've read in my life. The progression of the story is not rushed, the time period is portrayed realistically, the sad reality of women and girls in establishments like that brings awareness to how easily a girl can be trapped in such an industry, and the general concept of it? Like not the organized crime thing, but a ballerina x rich guys pairing? Original af, never seen this twist in the mafia genre before, most ppl go for rich man's heir x mafia/ drug lord guy or poor in debt person x gang member, which I also love, but that's what makes yours so refreshing. Can't wait to see what's next in the series! Please don't feel pressured to update fast, good things take time! Love u byeeeee

oh my gosh this is such a sweet ask!! like im so so flattered! I'm so happy you are enjoying it and liking the realism!! I always try to portray things as real as possible (even if the situation is fantastical, i want the characters to feel real and to try to have you, the reader, feel their emotions.

im so happy you think the time period is portrayed realistically. ive always played by the rule of cool so if there is something that would be interesting to incorporate but it might not be early 1900s authentic (like sneak peek, i know the cars im imagining for like a waltz are way more 1960s than 1920s. theyre more reflective of the cars in the mv or like in the godfather. i like the idea of sleek cars rather than motorcars lol) i hope you guys understand. BUT with that said, i do try to keep it as authentic as i can. i love world building. i love the idea of their town being in between industrializing and the past like how some parts have electricity and other places still utilize candles. its really fun to imagine.

and i do really want to highlight the weird time of ballerinas bc its so sad. these women and men who literally work themselves and starve themselves often were objectified and seen as lowly when their work, the opera/ballet, was seen as high class and royal-ish. its just so strange and sad. ive done some research to make sure what im saying is real-ish, but most of my info does come from stories about degas and his ballerina works from art history courses. i know i dont go too into it but i hope the surface i do scratch is enough to paint a picture of their realities.

and im happy you like the concept!! the mv really inspired it like i cant say it any other way. if they didnt have ballerinas in the mv i wouldnt have thought about the mafia x ballerina pair. i think its fun bc as some ppl have noted in comments woosan and the others are utilizing the ballet as a way to observe the upperclass and best set their deals up to control the town. i hope that isnt too spoilery lol like they do control this town theyre the mafia boys. im glad that you enjoy the dynamic though! itll be fun as it develops more bc it'll become more complicated when it comes to the ballet, power, love, and control!

im excited to write more even if im not feeling super confident with the next chapter yet!! ive gotten 14k written of the next chapter already and i still havent fully developed the climax scene of the chapter so itll hopefully be worth the wait, word count wise!
