now that she was in the small town that had dropped into new orleans- she'd learned mystic falls was the name. she'd found a place to stay in it but her small motel room was getting stuffy but she knew it wasn't going to be permanent. she was just here long enough to see if her family was ok and to found out what was going on and then she was back to her life in texas, far from those she once knew. at least that was what she kept telling herself. grocery shopping had been soothing to her back when she was human, it was the same for her now even though she didn't necessarily need it-- she had to admit she'd become even more of a foodie since she died. it helped with the cravings. stretching her legs a bit, amelia decided to walk through the aisles of one of the grocery stores, roaming felt better than nothing. "ew." she breathed, disgusted as she picked up a veggie just for her finger to find a rotten spot.

I just noticed, in your HHStargazers AU no one has pupils - except for Alastor and, if she's canon, Carmilla. Does that mean slit pupils are a sign of a demon in disguise?

Good eye! 👈👈👀 (Pun unintended.) Though I don't really plan for this trait to be repeatedly shared amongst the disguised demons. Mostly to not limit my designs to an obvious tell. But the slit pupils were indeed intentional flaws I added in for those two in particular. Because according to MY headcanon, both angels and demons are beings beyond human comprehension. Thus, it's only to be expected that even when they TRY to fit in, they'll be unable to keep EVERY aspect of their uncanny nature concealed. At best, they're imperfect imitations of what "normal" should be. It just so happens that in my AU, angels have a much easier time concealing most of their little quirks and oddities away than the sinners for my own reasons and as for WHY no one ever grew suspicious of the eye thing, it's because Charlie's curiosity could be easily curved. While for Lucius to point this out, he'll have to admit that he's been staring at Alastor's eyes a lot whenever he gets close enough to drown in the depths of his gaze and- EHEM!!! Which he's NEVER done, mind you! AhahaHAH- What slit pupils??? Never noticed those before. Nuh-uh. NO siree. NOPE! Lucius is normally so, SO normal about Alastors VERY much normal eyes in a TOTALLY normal amount of normal. A-ANYWAAAYS!!! Lucius would also be a hypocrite if he was bothered by them considering his own occupation and the people he's usually surrounded by (yet to be revealed). As for the other humans, Alastor doesn't care enough about their opinions for it to be a threat to him and people often just avoid the guy unnerving them with his creepy ass stare. So it's all good! one thing about hannibal and will that i always think about and which isnt addressed in fan content a lot (that i've seen) is that they just like each other! yes they're awful and manipulative to each other and yes they have this weird sort of planetary gravity that infects their interactions and they (or will, mostly, because by the time hannibal turns himself in for will it's pretty clear that's he's accepted it) resent that they can't leave each other's orbit. but they also like each other a lot! they're used to being the smartest one in the room (even though will is antisocial about it and doesn't advertise it unless asked) so i think it must be really refreshing to be able to parry their words back n forth and speak in metaphor instead of spelling everything out. and make references that most people won't get. and call a trout a very nietzschen fish without the person who hears going "🤨 you freak". because theyre both freaks! so you know if they actually did survive the cliff fall i always picture em in some ritzy hideaway making cannibal puns at each other

Alternative Bat ship names

Some of the batship names leave much to be desired (as I somewhat mentioned here )I wanted to propose some new ones or bring awareness to ones I think should be more popular! My credentials are that I was a part of the RWBY fandom back in 2015 so

Pairing: Dick Grayson and Barbara Gordon

Original: DickBabs

Alternative: Nightwatch

"DickBabs" is not that bad tbh but also not at all creative. “Nightwatch” Was something I first saw on Spotify as a ship playlist name and thought it fit perfectly. "Night" is the first part of Dick’s hero name and watching the BatFam during patrol is kinda Barbara’s whole job description so it combines them both beautifully

Pairing: Bruce Wayne and Selena Kyle

Original: BatCat

Alternative: Thieves Crusade

“BatCat” just feels too much like “CatDog” and I don’t want to associate them with that. Now the easy choice is to go "Black Cat" As it still fits them but that's not that much better creativity wise. "Thieves Crusade" Is fairly self explanatory with Selena being the thief and Bruce being the caped Crusader but is also Selena’s goal in a way

Pairing: Tim Drake and Stephanie Brown

Alternative: Ultra Violet

Again, “TimSteph” isn’t the worse but it’s just so bland. "Ultra Violet" Is the name of an energy drink which while mostly fanon based does remind me of Tim and Violet is a shade of purple which is Stephs favorite color

Pairing: Damian Wayne and Nika

Alternative: Knightshade

I just don't like the way "DamiNika" sounds. "Knightshade" would be said the same as "Nightshade" which is a poisonous plant. Damian is the heir to the mantle of the Dark Knight(something he use to point out often) and Nika's whole powers surround death so I feel like it can apply to them both

Pairing: Conner "Kon" Kent and Cassandra Cain

Original: KonCass

Alternative: Star-Crossed

"KonCass" could be worse but it also could be better, it also is a bit too close to "KonCassie" for me which is a whole other ship. "Star-Crossed" Is a bit more of a stretch but my reasoning is that DC had set their relationship to fail from the beginning so the phrase itself fits and also one of the only "dates" we really see of them in canon is when Kon takes her into the sky to see the stars and the clouds(Kon is also half ailen which can kinda apply here)

If anyone knows some other good ones please share! I'm not even saying these are particularly great, In fact I’m aware they’re not, but I just miss the fun shipnames so bad:(

Emotionally, 23.5 (episode 10) is like a cheaply made puzzle, where like, the edges are cut roughly, so like, you THINK that you have the right pieces next to each other, but when you smush them in, and they don't fit QUITE smoothly enough, you're like, oh maybe there's another piece, but like, you CAN'T find another piece that works, because like, the piece you have in your hand IS the piece that is the right one for the picture you're making, or like, you THINK it is, so like, you keep smushing the pieces together, and you THINK the puzzle makes sense, but you kinda feel like you have the wrong piece, or worse, you're MISSING A BETTER PIECE, because everything's NOT QUITE JIVING.

I hope this post made as much sense as the emotional journey we attempted to take with the script in this last episode. What the FUCK is this script doing to Ongsa? A little more context, some smoother edges, would be really helpful here!
