Interested in backing? Be notified when the project launches
Want to see previous pins I've made? Previous Successful Kickstarter Pins | Etsy Shop
Hope everyone's been having a happy halloween! After several years (?!) I've returned with a brand new Kickstarter campaign modeled after the original Robins After Dark-- this time focused on Gotham Femme Fatales!
(Lol I know Kori and Rachel don't count but shhh they're Robbie's friends they're honorary Gothamites ahaha)
The campaign will run from 11/6 at 9pm eastern to 11/26 at 9pm eastern. The normal KS pricing for the girl pins are $15 each ($18 in-hand) while the normal KS pricing for mini pins are $10 each ($12 in-hand.) There are further discounts for people who pledge for the full set of pins! There will also be a few early bird tiers available, so if you're interested in catching those discounts at launch, mark your calendars 😊.
A list of this campaign's offerings:
2.25" tall gold-plated enamel pins featuring the Sirens, Birds of Prey, and a few Titans/Young-Justice girls! These will be double-posted to prevent spinning during wear and feature glitter and sandblast effects to give the pins a bit of pizz-azz!
1" - 1.25" tall gold-plated mini pins for those who want a more subtle nod to their fan-favorite groups. These are shaped like badges and go well on shirt collars, bags, etc. Sandblast details will give the pins a bit of a 3D look despite their simple shape.
A new 5 x 7 Matte Postcard design for those who prefer to collect prints! One of the stretch goals includes a free postcard for all backers who pledge for 3+ GG pins.
Robins-themed Washi Stamp Tape! Includes the two girl robins and a bonus mini-Dick Grayson to round out the sidekick lineup.
Early Access to my Bat Theme enamel pin set. These are limited edition pins currently in production and will be sold as a set of 2 once in-hand. I'm giving Kickstarter backers early access to these designs before their public sale. These are large pins (3.25" - 3.75") and are perfect for displaying in a shadow box or as the main piece on an ita bag.
Remember that this is a fan project for nerdy enamel pin collectors! All the illustrations in this campaign are unofficial, Sonia-interpreted renditions of girls that don't get enough official love.
If you're not familiar with kickstarter, it's a crowd-funding campaign that lets customers fund a project before it's made. So keep in mind all these pin designs are not actual items (yet)-- you're helping to fund their production! Estimated reward fulfillment date right now is March/April 2024. In return for your patience, kickstarter backers will receive the best quality pins at the earliest time. If certain stretch goals are met, backers may also receive freebies like postcards and mini pins!
Thank you everyone for reading this far. I know my activity across social media has been spotty due to how busy I've been (and that I still have a fancomic to finish ROFL) but I hope there's still interest in a project like this 🤞. I'll make another post once the project goes live! But this way you all can look at what's available ahead of time and decide if you'd like to grab those early bird spots or not 😊.

peepee poopoo whining
i hate comparing my fave things, and its partly just down to the order they released, but the more i marinade in the sauce the more i wish TotK had some of the depth of story and history crafted into it as GG gave Horizon ?
i GET
.. that it took some serious polish to have its systems work and run well and i get that the past few havent been as story-driven or lore focussed buuutttt i do miss it a bit. its the main thing i find im pining for in newer zelda titles?
again im a heavy stan for both BotW and TotK i fucking love both of those games to death they ate my brain, but yknow ...
like i said, the fact that ive been waiting for these two games for what felt like an eternity while also talking about them constantly, and HFW released a year before probably spoiled me for story content lmfao
GG really spoiled us with their level of care in Zero Dawn & Forbidden West so its REALLY hard to make the comparison but i knoooowww the writing team are capable of something like that because fuck me Skyward Sword was a masterpiece fight me on that
just like, a little bit of elaboration or some expanded worldbuilding would have been nice
lead me a little on what happened to the Zonai? who do the giant statues in the depths represent? what is Ganondorf's actual motive? does he hear Demise in his dreams maybe??? are there anymore ancient Hyrulean ruins?? did ALL of the sheikah get cleared away or is there some still about? WHO was the Ancient Hero and why can we look like him ??! is he an ancient form of Zonai ??? (can i have more Sonia please?) ALSO WHERE THE FUCK IS KASS ...
yknow, like in a DLC :)
not that HFW is perfect either, it definitely isnt i have gripes and reservations, but the story-drive comparison is hard for me to escape and GG have done phenomenally well for following up on a sequel to their FIRST REAL NARRATIVE GAME (?!)
also the irony of both sets of games & their sequels being about post-apocalypse cultures existing in the shadow of extremely 'advanced' civilisations who have accidentally set up this new existential threat lmfao
anyway ill stop on this train of thought now but yeah
thoughts :V

I just had a dream where Fuyu gave Kaz a letter he wrote pretending to be Sonia.
It’s contents: GG. I’m fucking off. Bye.
This was done out of anger and jealousy cuz he had no idea how to handle his crush on Kaz. Who ya know was upset but mostly very very confused. It only led to him showing Sonia the letter, her showing everyone else and everyone feeling equally confused. I don’t know what Fuyu thought would happen. I mean he was just a flustered ball of why the fuck did I do that after. Never thought something desperate like that is how he’d try to get Sonia out of the picture lmao.
I swear I am not making this up at all. It was a real dream I had like an hour ago. I’m still sitting in bed even 😆😆

[ad_1] Paromita Das GG News Bureau New Delhi, 31st Dec. The passing of former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh, widely respected for his humility and transformative economic reforms, has been overshadowed by a controversy rooted in the Gandhi family’s political opportunism. Priyanka Gandhi Vadra’s comments following his cremation exemplify a deeply entrenched pattern within the Congress party—one of exploiting moments of national grief for political gain while conveniently disregarding its own track record of neglecting the legacies of past leaders. To fully grasp the extent of this hypocrisy, it is important to revisit the treatment of former Prime Ministers during the Congress-led government under Dr. Manmohan Singh. Leaders such as P.V. Narasimha Rao (28 June 1921 – 23 Dec 2004), Chandra Shekhar (17 April 1927 – 8 July 2007), Vishwanath Pratap Singh (25 June 1931 – 27 Nov 2008), and I.K. Gujral (4 Dec 1919 – 30 Nov 2012) all passed away while the Congress was in power. Yet: None of these former Prime Ministers were accorded state funerals with full honors by the Congress government. None were allocated a Samadhi Sthal (memorial site) in Delhi, despite their significant contributions to the nation. None had their funerals attended by key Congress leaders, including Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, or even the then-Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh himself. This consistent disregard for its own leaders’ legacies starkly contrasts with the Congress party’s current attempt to manipulate sentiments around Dr. Singh’s passing, underscoring a selective narrative aimed at reaping political mileage from a solemn occasion. Politicizing Grief: Priyanka Gandhi Vadra’s Calculated Remarks Priyanka Gandhi Vadra’s tweet, accusing the BJP government of neglecting Dr. Manmohan Singh’s legacy, typifies this opportunistic approach. Claiming that the Modi government did not provide adequate arrangements for the cremation, Vadra attempted to incite discontent within the Sikh community, casting the BJP as dismissive of both Dr. Singh’s contributions and Sikh sentiments. — Priyanka Gandhi Vadra (@priyankagandhi) December 28, 2024   Yet, these allegations crumbled swiftly when the Union Home Ministry announced its plans for a memorial to honor Dr. Singh. The decision, promptly communicated to Singh’s family and Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, demonstrated a level of respect that transcended political divides. Priyanka’s attempt to create a narrative of neglect, therefore, rings hollow, exposing her broader strategy of exploiting grief to stoke communal divisions and malign the ruling BJP. The Double Standards of the Congress Party The Congress’s feigned outrage over Dr. Manmohan Singh’s cremation arrangements is ironic when juxtaposed against its own history. The deaths of P.V. Narasimha Rao, Vishwanath Pratap Singh, Chandra Shekhar, and I.K. Gujral were treated with notable indifference. Rao, in particular, was subjected to shocking humiliation by the Congress party, which refused to allow his cremation in Delhi, forcing his body to be flown to Hyderabad. This disregard for Rao, who was arguably one of Bharat’s most transformative Prime Ministers, highlights the party’s selective valuation of its leaders based on political convenience. When contrasted with Priyanka’s theatrics following Dr. Singh’s death, the hypocrisy becomes glaringly apparent. A Pattern of Divisive Politics Priyanka Gandhi Vadra’s actions echo a broader trend within the Congress party. Her comments resemble her brother Rahul Gandhi’s rhetoric during his public engagements abroad, where he has repeatedly claimed that minorities in Bharat are under siege. This narrative, designed to portray the ruling government as oppressive, often relies on exaggerations and unfounded allegations.
However, such statements stand in stark contrast to Congress’s own history. The 1984 anti-Sikh riots, orchestrated in the wake of Indira Gandhi’s assassination, remain a dark stain on the party’s legacy. Congress leaders like Sajjan Kumar and Jagdish Tytler were directly implicated in leading mobs that massacred thousands of Sikhs. Despite the severity of these crimes, the Congress not only shielded these individuals but also rewarded them with political positions, betraying the very community it now claims to defend. By invoking the Sikh identity of Dr. Manmohan Singh, Priyanka seeks to position herself as a champion of Sikh dignity. Yet, this attempt falls flat when viewed against the Congress party’s historical treatment of Sikhs. The calculated use of grief to sow division within a community is not an isolated incident but part of a broader strategy of leveraging communal sentiments for electoral gain. Trivializing Civilizational Issues Beyond the politicization of Dr. Singh’s death, the Congress’s leadership has also displayed a pattern of trivializing issues of civilizational importance. Akhilesh Yadav’s recent comments mocking Hindu sentiments surrounding the restoration of temples are a case in point. His snide remark about a hypothetical Shivling under the Chief Minister’s residence in Lucknow not only disrespected deeply held beliefs but also diverted attention from the genuine cultural and historical efforts to reclaim lost heritage. This tactic of derailing important conversations for political expediency reflects a leadership style that prioritizes short-term gains over long-term accountability. For leaders like Akhilesh Yadav and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, such strategies are attempts to re-galvanize their voter bases amidst declining relevance. Conclusion: A Need for Dignified Leadership The Gandhi family’s actions following Dr. Manmohan Singh’s death are a stark reminder of the depths to which political discourse in Bharat can sink. By exploiting moments of national grief for political gain, they have not only disrespected the legacy of one of Bharat’s most respected leaders but also eroded the dignity of democratic debate. Priyanka Gandhi Vadra’s remarks, designed to stoke divisions and malign the BJP, are emblematic of a broader culture of opportunism within the Congress party. This culture prioritizes narrative-building over national unity, casting doubt on the sincerity of their concerns for the Sikh community or the dignity of public office. Bharat deserves a political culture that rises above such tactics—one that respects the solemnity of loss and upholds the dignity of its leaders. As the nation reflects on Dr. Singh’s contributions, it is incumbent upon all political actors to honor his legacy with the respect it warrants. Ultimately, the electorate must decide whether to endorse a politics of privilege and opportunism or to demand leadership that values humility, integrity, and genuine service. Dr. Manmohan Singh’s life and work stand as a testament to these virtues—qualities that Bharat must aspire to uphold in its political future.     The post From Mourning to Manipulation: The Gandhi Family’s Troubling Exploitation of National Mourning appeared first on Global Governance News- Asia's First Bilingual News portal for Global News and Updates. LOTD: Valentino Rosso Valentino Matte in 123R Falling For Nude with Dior Addict Lip Maximizer in 060 Shimmery Spice. #Scentoftheday I Want Choo EDP by Jimmy Choo.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
First impressions day 6 (I apologise for getting so behind) and I last reviewed one of these Valentino matte lipsticks back in January after buying four last year. The are refillable, so I bought one in the case and 3 refills (3 mattes and one satin). Today, I'm reviewing 123R Falling For Nude, which colour-wise I like a lot more than 112R last time, which was a berry pink on my lips. This one is a truer nude. The matte formula feels light and airy, it could maybe get a bit drying as the day goes on. The finish isn't matte-matte, as you'll see in my swatches it's quite natural. One swipe provides a decent colour, but it's easily built up with more layers.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Shade names are (mattes) 199A Deep Nude, 123R Falling For Nude, 112R Blushing Nude and (satin) 602R Stellar Notte. All shades are swatched several times on bare skin with no colour or light edits made to the photos.
Tumblr media
I Want Choo by Jimmy Choo is an Amber/Floral fragrance which launched in 2020, designed by Sonia Constant. Top notes are Peach and Mandarin Orange, middle are Jasmine and Red Lily with a base of Vanilla.
It's basically Carolina Herrera Good Girl. I knew I recognised it the moment I sprayed it. The notes are completely different (GG has 11 base notes alone), but it's 90+ % like it, honestly. It's heady (GG too), so I was worried I'd end up with a migraine, but I didn't. Decent projection, lasted well. Listen, it's pretty, but there's just something that stops me buying these type of fragrances. I think one is the fear they're headache inducing, but most of all, do I like it? It's pretty enough, but it smells like 'perfume' if you know what I mean, just a perfume smell, not anything specific, unique or particularly memorable or that I want to continually smell throughout the day. I'll be honest, if I had it, I wouldn't reach for it.

Q and A with director/ Producer
After I read the most recent draft of the script I had a few questions for Kushal and Joseph about how they wanted to go forward with production design. We had had a few meetings beforehand but some things had changed or didn’t make sense to me so here I have written what we have cleared up:
Do you want the dancers wearing pointe shoes in the rehearsal scene at the start or to be barefoot? - Normal ballet flats. Like sock shoes.
What kind of lighting are we thinking for the first theatre scenes? - White light, bright dependent on location. Windows.
VAN??? - might need to be removed from script, or sound effect.
Bin and cat - sound effects? - same as above.
Why does Sonia have a flip phone? - The film is set in early 2000s. Something for Kevin to take from her.
What kind of graffiti did you want for the nightclub? - Like it’s been abandoned, perhaps if not graffiti then ripped up posters on the walls. Dependant on location, as we can’t exactly graffiti.
Is the blood on Sonia’s pointe shoes from the fight or from her working too hard? 1.5 litres of blood. - Actress does not want blood on her pointe shoes. (Understandably) Need to remove from script.
Does the actress have her own shoes as I assume she won’t want to get blood on those? - As above.
Did we get rid of the gold tooth? - Gold tooth in script was removed as could be seen as too cliche. I could find one on amazon and we considered this but also we have planned the shots and we would need a close up of it and we don’t have time.
Kevin is written to have a ‘makeshift throne’, I’m not sure if I will have time to source/ make this so is there any possible alternative? - Yes, we can have him sitting on a stool, or on the bar as long as he is clearly higher that the action, watching over it.
It all happens in the same night? So we don’t have to change Andre or Sonia’s costume? - yes.
Have we got cast for the other 4 ballerinas - not yet.
Makeup artist - fake blood? - The makeup artist has a small bit of her own fake blood which we can use for touch ups but we will need to buy 2 litres of fake blood on top of this.
Tied up to a chair? Won’t she be able to move? - this has been changed to her tied up as she sits on the ground.

Continued Thread:
♕ - Sonia || @more-than-a-princess
Suddenly, the space began to feel very small. Despite it being built for at least four riders, if not six, the fragments of Minato’s tumultuous past more than easily filled it. Sonia breathed deeply: comfort and guidance were the skills of a princess but here, in Cape May with his hand in hers, Sonia didn’t feel regal at all. She didn’t quite feel like a friend either, with how close they sat and how easily he’d taken her hand in his and she’d interlaced their fingers, keeping him there. Keeping him steady. She wasn’t sure what it was she felt, beyond a great care to say and do only the most suitable things, the right things, at the moment.
Tumblr media
“Minato-san, I…” Sonia began before trailing off. If it had been a memorial she was attending on behalf of the Royal Family, she would’ve thanked those left behind for the service of their loved one. That she was sorry for their loss and that those who had died had been an asset to Novoselic. But none of that seemed appropriate now: not for Minato, who was still hurting. Still so haunted by ghosts, far removed, Sonia thought, from the ones he contacted as part of his career. “That’s horrible, what happened to your parents. It is no wonder why you haven’t been to a place like this since.”
“But,” She continued, her hand squeezing his a little bit tighter. For his reassurance that she was still there. For her own, that she had the courage to be frank and honest with him. “Please don’t blame yourself, ever. For what happened. For still being here. I don’t believe your parents, people who loved you until the very end, would wish for you to suffer the same fate. Even if they are no longer here, you aren’t alone in the world. You have your friends, you have your career, you have-”
She stopped herself then. The phrase didn’t make sense: she’d almost said “you have me” but she fit into the first point. Didn’t she? Sonia shivered some: the breeze from being that high in the air, even in summer, made her sundress rather inadequate for the evening. At least where keeping warm was concerned. At least, that’s what the blonde would attribute it to: a change in weather. Not mood. Not anything else. She was here to listen and to comfort him, nothing more.
His worries of the mood change easily faded, Sonia didn’t seem to mind it, he honestly was glad, and very relieved. The last thing he wanted to do, was spoil all the fun they had today, even in this moment, despite the painful memories, he was still enjoying his time here with her. If Sonia wasn’t here holding his hand like this, he probably wouldn’t have been able to keep his cool as well as he was managing to do right now. Minato, always had a track record for nothing being able to phase him, but right now, Sonia was witnessing a side of Minato that no one has ever seen, at least not in recent years. Minato had been carrying this pain, this trauma hidden for so long, three whole years to be exact, which was the entire extent of his Paranormal Career, but was still growing with his new season starting later in the months to come.
Always so fearless, so stoic and cool, but right now, he was being so vulnerable, but Sonia gracing him with her presence, comfort and support, but not just that, he was just happy to have Sonia here next to him when he truly needed someone, even revisiting painful trauma’s could be difficult, but Sonia’s being here right beside him, seemed to make all that pain go away completely. Silence, but he listens to her closely as she begins to speak, sounding understandingly shocked, he’d never told her about his parents traumatic passing, until now. The one reason he never came to amusement parks much anymore, because the boardwalk amusement park was one of the major attractions of Cape May, something that at first had him a bit hesitant on coming here for the investigation. Ultimately, his career and curiosity of the many locations and spirits had won over his hesitance and thus he agreed.
It had taken a long time for him to finally open up to her, which was a common issue he had even when he was in high school. Minato always had problems opening up to others, especially when someone got close to him. It usually took him a bit to calm himself when mentioning his parents, but Sonia’s presence, was doing a lot more for him that he thought, this pain, wasn’t so overbearing with her holding his hand, giving him soft gentle words of reaffirmation that he never thought he’d needed to hear more than now, especially from Sonia, the one person whom he’d spent so much time getting to know over the past months, she had been right by his side all this time, the gentle squeezing of his hand, clearly reminding him about that.
Tumblr media
You aren’t alone in the world
She was right, he had so many wonderful people still in his life, when looking back on hard times, sometimes he got so lost in his thought, it was almost like he’d become trapped there, stuck in that memory inside of his head, replaying on a continuous cycle not letting him push it out of his mind.
Until she comforted him
Sonia, really was someone truly special.
No one else could make him feel better like she could.
It took a while, but he finally knew, just how much she meant to him.
Her gentle touch and reassurance, was all he needed to help pull him through these horrible memories. He had no regrets finally telling her about them. He was already expecting some kind of supportive response, and she had done that, plus more. She showed him just how much she really cared about him, a warmth he had recalled feeling before a few other moments they were together, before this trip. It all finally made sense to him, now he could see it, Takashi and Zero were always telling him that, ever since he’d met Sonia, he seemed happier than he usually was, and it showed with how extra outgoing he had been, it started exactly after him and Sonia started spending time together.
[{ 🦋 }] - “...You’re right... I’m not alone in this world, I never was..”
[{ 🦋 }] - “Thanks Sonia..” A smile returns to his lips.
He was feeling better, so much better now. His dark expression fades, once again brightening, as if the moment never even happened, but it did, it had been a meaningful one, it helped him realize just how he really felt about Sonia, he only hoped she felt the same, his life, had gotten so much brighter ever since he met her, and he wanted to go through life, with Sonia by his side, but this time, on a more personal level, she was so much more than a friend to him.
His head raises up, and he turns to face her, grey eyes looking deeply into her blues. He’d be just fine without his parents, and he’d be fine while his friends were busy, he had Sonia here with him. Lost in the moment, he wanted to take this chance to show how he truly felt, the moment, just felt appropriate, it was like he could feel it in the air around them. She had just displayed how much she cared about him, gave him the push he needed,  she said the words he needed to hear all along, and he was feeling really good, great even. Now was his best chance. He could already hear Takashi’s words to him that day they met for coffee a week before the trip.
“Your heart can’t speak Minato, you have to speak for it. so do it.”
Putting his other hand over top of hers, his expression is serious, but there’s a gentle glimmer in his eyes, he could feel it, his heart talking just by the way it pounded against his chest as the realization of his feelings hit him like a brick wall, and now, it was time to finally say it all out loud. The words he had waited for so long to say to her, if only she knew how long he had waited to find the courage to say this all to her, well, better late, than ever.

[{ 🦋 }] - “Hey uh, Sonia-San... there’s something I’ve been wanting to tell you.”

Pokemon Journeys Episode 43. Let’s review:
1. Alright, our favorite TR Trio is officially included in the arc! And considering what we’ve been seeing in the arc previews, I can tell Gigantamax Meowth will be shown to us preeeeeetty soon. (please PLEASE writers, don’t skip out on the perfect opportunity of Gigan. Pikachu vs. Meowth!!)
2. I also love Meowth’s mouth mask. Our little rascal is doing his part in practicing social distancing. C’mon, Karens of the Earth. Take from his example.
3. Oh, hey! The Turffield Geoglyph! Why are you more pleasant to look at in the anime than you are in the games?
4. The gag of Sonia’s driving skills gives me life.
5. Ash and Leon working together to take down the Gigantamaxed Coalossal was very awesome to see. The two just work off together so well! Alsooooooo........ Leon’s Dragapult with Ash’s Gengar....... both being in the same frames a lot....... OH MY ARCEUS, MY OLD PARALLELS POST.
6. Hmmm. Goh reading the Sword and Shield legend, him and Ash encountering the Sword and Shield doggos... Gee, I wonder where this is going.
7. The flashbacks depicting Sonia and Leon’s childhood days were not only adorable, but I also love how it fits Ash and Goh’s whole dynamic as well. Like Leon, Ash is a far more skilled and experienced battler than Goh, and not only is he on his way of being a champion of the Pokemon World Championships, but Goh has also seen multiple how popular Ash is as a trainer in many other regions. In due time, Goh might feel Ash would become too good to work with him anymore, and since we know Goh is very dependent on his friendship with Ash, this whole parallel might encourage the improve himself with his own abilities so he can always maintain his close connections with Ash. (Leon’s Charizard as a Charmander is also adorable sry just had to throw that out there fite me)
8. Coa-Coalossal, where are you going? Ashy boi just defended you from being harassed by those stupid butthead miners after you turned back to normal. He can clearly be a good father for you, plus he has one extra slot on his team, so where are you going? Please come back. PLEASE!
9. I love Pikachu already being on the edge around Chairman Rose and Oleana. The two have experienced these type of shenanigans involving fake-ass jerks before, so it’s bound for Pikachu to feel that way. (I’m looking at you, Lysandre)
10. Okay, give or take a few more feet with the Wishing Star, it would’ve been GG for Sonia, Goh, and Raboot.
11. Professor Magnolia!!
12. I don’t know why, but at the beginning of the scene where Rose and Oleana offered Ash the chance to train aside them, I got Lysandre-Alain vibes from the XYZ series... as well as Pyrrha-Ozpin Fall Maiden vibes from RWBY Vol. 3. Oh dear. Thankfully, cause Ash is a good boi who knows his own styles and passions, he refused. Great job, you precious dork. Oleana’s death glare made me laugh my guts out, too.
13. Sobble, ur a q-t.
14. Gigantamax Garbodor’s design in the anime was honestly pretty cool, even more so than the games for some reason.
15. When Sonia gave Goh a Dynamax Band, I initially felt a little unsure on that part, considering Goh’s lack of experience in battling on a general standpoint. (then again, considering factors like the Sword and Shield legend of Gigantamax Cinderace, it was inevitable, but I just feel it’s a little too soon) The battle between Dynamaxed Raboot and Gigantamax Garbodor does seem pretty promising though! (lol, we’re literally getting a trash fire next episode)
Overall, while the episode was a bit exposition-y, especially Goh’s parts, like the last episode, it was good exposition, considering there are many people who haven’t played the games, so they’ll need all the info they can get. Seeing Ash and Leon work together, while a bit brief, was still pretty cool to see and the friendships Ash and Goh are establishing with Leon and Sonia are a super nice touch to their own parallels. Chairman Rose’s slow-but-surely descent to madness was another nice touch that they’ll building on throughout the arc.
I would rate this episode a nice 7.9/10. A little exposition-y, but again, it was GOOD exposition and the comedic moments and small action scenes more than made up for it!
I also say ‘also’ and ‘not only’ a lot oh arceus pls help me

[ad_1] Paromita Das GG News Bureau New Delhi, 12th Dec. A Case of Citizenship Misrepresentation The Telangana High Court’s decision to declare Chennamaneni Ramesh, a four-time MLA from the Vemulawada constituency, as a German national reveals a deliberate act of citizenship misrepresentation. Justice B Vijaysen Reddy emphasized that Ramesh had provided false information while applying for Bharatiya citizenship in 2008. Despite holding a valid German passport and visiting Germany multiple times in 2023, Ramesh concealed these details to contest elections in Bharat, violating Bharatiya law. The Role of the Union Home Ministry This case had been brewing since 2019 when the Union Home Ministry annulled Ramesh’s Bharatiya citizenship. The ministry’s decision was based on substantial evidence that Ramesh had retained his German nationality while applying for Bharatiya citizenship. The Telangana High Court upheld the ministry’s findings, confirming that Ramesh was not stateless as he claimed, given his possession of a valid German passport until 2033. Impact on Electoral Integrity The court’s judgment underscores the critical importance of transparency in electoral declarations. Ramesh’s actions undermined the electoral rights of legitimate Bharatiya citizens by misleading voters and the judiciary. Dual citizenship, prohibited under Bharatiya law, not only contravenes the Representation of the People Act but also jeopardizes the credibility of the electoral process. The Financial Penalty: A Strong Deterrent As part of the judgment, the Telangana High Court imposed a fine of Rs 30 lakh on Ramesh. This includes Rs 25 lakh to be paid to Congress MLA Adi Srinivas for legal expenses and Rs 5 lakh to the Telangana High Court Legal Services Authority. Such penalties reinforce the financial and legal consequences of deceiving the judiciary and breaching electoral laws. The Representation of the People Act: A Crucial Safeguard The Representation of the People Act governs the conduct of elections in Bharat and explicitly disqualifies individuals who are not Bharatiya citizens or hold dual citizenship. The Act ensures that the electoral process remains transparent and that only bona fide Bharatiya citizens can contest elections. The court’s ruling in this case demonstrates the Act’s effectiveness in upholding electoral integrity. The Legal Precedent Set by the Verdict The Telangana High Court’s judgment sets a strong legal precedent. By emphasizing the non-negotiable nature of Bharatiya citizenship requirements, the ruling sends a clear message to public officeholders: any misrepresentation, particularly about citizenship, will result in severe consequences. Broader Implications of the Judgment This case brings to light the broader issue of citizenship controversies involving political leaders. Similar questions have been raised in the past about prominent figures like Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi. Ongoing legal scrutiny of Rahul Gandhi’s citizenship status highlights the need for rigorous mechanisms to verify the eligibility of public representatives. A Call to Action for Electoral Accountability The judgment serves as a reminder to all political aspirants and public officeholders about the need for absolute adherence to the law. It underscores the fact that public office is a privilege that requires individuals to meet the highest standards of honesty and accountability. Reinforcing Trust in Democracy The ruling reinforces the foundational principles of Bharat’s democratic system by ensuring that laws governing citizenship and electoral eligibility are upheld. The judiciary’s vigilance in such cases strengthens public trust in democratic institutions and processes. Conclusion The Telangana High Court’s ruling against Chennamaneni Ramesh marks a pivotal moment for Bharat’s democracy. By prioritizing transparency and accountability, the court has set an example for maintaining the integrity of the electoral process. This verdict not only delivers
justice but also serves as a deterrent against future violations, reaffirming the judiciary’s role as the guardian of democratic values.   The post The Telangana High Court Ruling on Chennamaneni Ramesh: A Landmark Verdict appeared first on Global Governance News- Asia's First Bilingual News portal for Global News and Updates.
