um hey @staff @support @changes can you please fix the remember used/saved tags feature or bring it back if it’s not broken and you just took it away? a lot of us, especially us creators, have tags that we use frequently to organize our posts and it helps when they’re saved it’s been a real pain the last week or so when that feature stopped working because we have to keep retyping them or copy and paste them because they’re not remembered

right now it just sometimes shows the top tags we choose for our blogs but if it’s a reblog or if you start typing it doesn’t come up at all. just respectfully putting this on your radar because it would be such a big help if that saved tags feature came back or got fixed🥺

has anyone solved saved tags not working on reblogs or is that just a feature now lost to time now? it's been over six months and it really makes using tumblr worse : (

I wanted to reply to @jv’s reblog of @cinematicnomad’s post about saved tags, however it looks like you can’t embed videos into other people’s posts.

This is what happens on iOS, the way I access tumblr 90+% of the time. I had to do one video for two issues because ✨restrictions✨

1. My #pike thirst hours tag doesn’t have capitals (at least not the vast majority of the time. In the past I remember for some tags I do capitalise having the non capitalised version suggested and typing them out anyway). Some of the tags I get when I start typing pike are ones I’ve used (one is a tracked tag) but a lot are not, e.g. pike trickfoot which google tells me is a Critical Role character is not a tag I have ever used. So it’s suggesting “popular” tags here and not ones that personal to me which it did do in the past.

2. Another tag I use is #whining of the girl from outer space when I’m having a moan. If I start typing this it doesn’t come up as a suggestion, but it is there if I go through to the end of the initially suggested tags which is not something I ever do.

In the past, both of those tags would have shown up as I typed (though even before it stopped working altogether it could be a bit unpredictable, like varying the suggestions when I typed more of your letters, more than I would think was reasonable).

DISCLAIMERS AND NOTES ETC.... I'm Pākehā, meaning I am not of Māori descent. I hold so much respect for Māori people, for their values and traditions, and for the fierce pride with which kapa haka is performed. I thought if I was going to design a Māori Miku, it makes sense to dress her in a kapa haka kākahu, as her whole thing is singing and dancing!!! The moko kauae is not based off any real person's. I referenced the temporary moko kauae a lot of kapa haka performers wear!! Was tricky finding out whether or not depicting her with a moko kauae was a good idea, so I went the safe route- showing an aspect of Māori culture without stepping over any boundaries!! Brown eyed Miku is everything to me shout out brown eyed Miku.... I referenced like seven different outfits to put hers together!! I really hope this looks accurate or at least passable. Thanks to adorkastock for the pose ref!!
