What free time? Half a lark, half a painful reality. But when there is free time, I do everything and anything. Make a visual novel, draw comics, write fics, see my husband- whatever goes, goes.

╰ ➣ what are your hobbies and how did you get into them?

I drew a bit of FNAF (terribly) when I was in third grade because I wanted to show my friends the funny comic dubs I saw; but I'm broke and only rely on my aunt's computer (whose house I have to walk to) so I can access the net. I truly learned to love drawing at sixth grade when I had a sudden spike of interest in anime (yikes /j).

As for writing... I was enamored when I made joke fanfictions of my classmates during highschool. Kind of a funny story but that's for another time, my students. Ask @estellxli and @a-dose-of-phitre lol.

╰ ➣ what book or movie left a lasting impression on you?

The book that has a lasting impression on me is The Stranger by Albert Camus because that's what actually got me to reading stuff that isn't some wattpad fanfic. It seriously got me to love reading as a whole- though that's probably not everyone's first thought when talking about it lol. It definitely influenced how I act during times of stress afterwards; is that a bad thing, who knows? Maman died today.

Then "movie" with a lasting impression would hilariously be John Wick cause lmao that altered my brain chemistry on what an ideal husband should be-

Anything. I've jumped several hoops haha. Rn I'm listening to more introspective rap and old hiphop. Let's ignore how my mood randomly jumps from Engelbert to MCR/FOB/TOP/P!ATD to Tom Jones to Sabrina Carpenter to KDot to Johnny Cash— music is music. All Are Great.

My spotify wrapped will tell you I only listen to instrumentals though. It ain't my fault it's the easist one to listen when grinding out lab reports. If you're asking who's my favorite for the past few years, Hozier, definitely. I haven't listened to twentyonepilots but Tyler and Josh were my GOATs when I was in highschool (I memorized all their discography up to Trench). Both Hozier and twentyonepilots's Self-Titled albums have a special place in my heart. Genuinely, I think those albums are so dang good.

╰ ➣ who is your favorite character (OF ALL TIME, FIVE YEARS GOING STRONG) and why?

I don't think anyone is looking forward to me ranting about N,N-Dimethyltryptamine again (Dimitri from FE:TH). Just know this man brought me more reasons to live and accept parts of myself I didn't before. The way he destroys and builds himself back up is just... very inspiring to me. Now, this may be a good time for me to be soft and explain how much I resonate with his "good kid" personality to absolute disgruntled behavior and at least fifteen other pandoras boxes sold at a discount price of your 3 hours— but I won't yap today

my name is rurumi and i enjoy spending my free time writing!

some of my hobbies (outside of writing) includes: drawing, building gundams and keyboards, and fashion! i got into most of them on a whim and became instantly hooked. aside from self-expression, being into fashion also helps with making friends in college because you always have something to talk about!

a book that left a lasting impression on me would have to be either kafka on the shore by haruki murakami or before the coffee gets cold by toshikazu kawaguchi. both stories have kept me up at night thinking a lot about the 'what ifs' in life.

i enjoy soul/r&b alongside anything of jrock influence, but i will basically listen to anything that sounds good. i am currently listening to 'so what' by lucy!

my favorite character at the moment is rin itoshi from blue lock because hes so ridiculously edgy, but at the same time i sympathize with him a lot. on the other hand, my favorite character of all time is suletta mecury from the witch from mercury series, she's an absolute ball of sunshine that i aspire to be.

The Fentons Secret

Maddie and Jack had a secret that they couldn't tell their kids, it was a secret that they thought the kids wouldn't accept.

It was the fact that Jack Fenton had the bloodline of an alien, Jack wasn't from around here and Maddie knew that. Jack's whole life and their family was to get back to their planet after their ancestors got lost in space but the Earth's technology was too outdated. But there was another way, all Maddie wanted was to help her husband since she knew that Jack's race had an obsession with home and that way was through the ghost zone.

The ghost zone had entries of other planets and dimensions, they were all connected to one. And since they didn't want the kids to know, they had to disguise this obsession of the ghost zone to want to hunt ghosts when in reality it was to get an entry way back to Jack's family home planet.

And when Danny revealed that he was Phantom in the end, they were saddened by the words and phrases they had used when they were near him. So, the Fentons had to reveal their secrets too.

"No more secrets." The family said.

i'll be honest, i watched liam's funeral through photos on the internet. i didn't share any photos, i don't think it's right for people who weren't invited to be around the funeral, and i don't think it's right for photographers to be intrusive. i wanted to see what would happen, even though i knew it would hurt me to see it.

it breaks my heart to see the pain of those who attended the funeral, and all we fans can do is show and manifest our love for them.

i still can't believe all this happened, but this isn't the end, he's still among us, we just can't see him. ❤️🕊️

its not american culture but white culture tbh. my family is russian/german and my mom expected us to move out and be self-sufficient by the age of 20. even though we pay rent to live at home too. from what i heard from previous jobs/friends brown/especially muslim families keep their children at home until they get married, some stay with their families until they are in their 30s lmao my mom would kick me out at that point ruthlessly. its true that white families are colder and less welcoming of their own children. why bring a child into the world when all you do is wait until it leaves home? its questionable

this is insane to me!! and yes ur correct in ur assessment—it’s very normal in that culture/not seen as a negative at all, whereas in american culture you’re seen as a freeloader. it’s also worth mentioning that a lot of arab people choose to live w their family not for financial reasons, but bc they legit don’t wanna live away from loved ones. family is infinitely important in arab culture, in the same way it’s infinitely neglected in american culture. moving out is normal too (if u also happen to be american lol), but so is being surrounded w family voluntarily. if ur family is lax enough, which is mine is, its ultimately up to u what u wanna do.

for my family in particular my mom doesn’t want me to live w her so much as she wants to take care of me, bc to her ill always be her responsibility regardless of age. she always told me that no matter where i live, she will always be happy to support me. i rly won the jackpot bc she has granted me both autonomy and a support system no matter what, when by contrast a lot of more strict brown families might not be okay w that kind of freedom (i felt it necessary to emphasize this btw bc the stereotype of all brown parents being conservative and stifling is grossly overapplied—my mom is proof it’s not true). but white families are so fucking COLD to each other (not ALL of them btw!! as always people and situations aren’t a one size fits all) and being kicked out of the house seems to be the standard. i find that so fucked up

Yesterday marked two months since Liam went to live with God. My life has been busy, I finished my last year of high school, and the challenges that have filled my path, such as doubts, fear, nostalgia and excitement, have left me emotionally unstable. I afraid that one time I'd look back and will be already two years since he was gone, the time is treacherous.

But there is not a day that goes by that I do not think about Liam, even if it is just for a single moment each day. Especially on Wednesdays, because every Wednesday is like a milestone of another week without him.

I have been demanding of myself, I feel like I should be doing more. In my life, projects, feelings, etc. But I like to think that Liam is at peace, surrounded by love wherever he is. It still does not seem real that there is still a world without him, that time continues to pass, but no matter the road I am on, everything will lead me to Liam, he is a part of me, of you, of us.
