Thinking about grass snakes (hating on english for not having a better name for them) and their image
These tiny little guys are these oh so scary looking predators that so many of the human population fears
Thinking about how grass snakes aren't venomous and aren't at all dangerous to humans
Scratch that, they're actively helpful. Thinking about pagan times Lithuania where these terrifying beasts were considered good luck if they decided to live under your house because not only are they harmless to humans, they literally get rid of pests and make sure no rat gets to the humans' stock of food.
Thinking about how despite their image, grass snakes aren't enemies and are actively helping people around them, even if the people don't realize it (and evidently try to kill them)
