King was also manipulated by Enchtress (constantly being put on a higher platter compared to everyone else and basically calling him "special") and the other Glidewing characters were also selfish probably not caring about him at least not as much as ppl think (Cooper & Bard literally only buttered him up bc they wanted some cut of the joustus crown fame/money)

it’s his mom’s fault that he’s so spoiled and entitled because she babies him always (still love her tho) and like yeah he left an entire universe to die but bro cardia just randomly was like “hey lol ur the chosen one” LIKE WHAT DO YOU EVEN DO IN THAT SCENARIO king knight was valid for saying he didn’t want to help

he only betrayed everyone at the end because he was super angry and didn’t really think, and he totally regretted it afterwards :(
