Hey guys! 👋 . . Today we're speaking with one of our favorites! The super fun yogi @thisgoatslife has been rocking our Blue Reef Boho Harem Pants lately with some cuties on her farm so we thought it might be a good chance to ask her a little bit about what she gets out of practicing yoga. 💞 . . HOW DID YOGA BECOME PART OF YOUR LIFE? . . I started yoga after years of working too hard and not taking care of my body enough. I was always thought I was fairly physically fit and felt strong for most of my days. However little by little I was realizing my muscles were tight and exhausted with me and my work work work, go go go habits. I had been a runner while working landscaping but then with a change of job and location my strong but tight muscles ended up making my back and hamstrings so tight and painful I realized I needed to do something about it. The chiropractor can only help so much if the muscles just pull the bones back out of alignment. So I started slowly with a dvd to get stronger, try to stretch out, and learn what it means to be able to touch my toes again. Or for the first time in my adult life honestly! That’s when I found instagram yoga challenges. I have learned so much from them and made some seriously awesome connections! . . WHAT’S IT LIKE HAVING A FARM AS YOUR YOGA STUDIO? . . It’s the best! Though I’ve never been to a real yoga class so it’s kind of hard to compare. Being a lover of nature and animals makes the wide open spaces combined with cute animal photobombs pretty amazing. I would imagine it’s not for everyone, but it definitely brings many smiles to my face. I can only hope I can bring a smile to others with my practice as well! . . HOW DOES YOUR YOGA PRACTICE POSITIVELY AFFECT YOUR LIFE? . . Goodness...it might be easier to list the ways it doesn’t help my life! Seriously though, between mind, body and soul I find that yoga has really calmed me and my tired tight muscles and made everything inside and out, more at peace. It’s lengthened my muscles and my patience. And we all know that is a real virtue! . .
