Vaulted skylit walkways and contemporary architectural features have brought this "old timer" from a state-of-the-art 1950's shopping center to a retail destination place that mirrors the excitement and vibrance of its time."

"A project of Forest City Development, THE GALLERIA AT SOUTH BAY is a $70 million shopping center redevelopment of the old South Bay Center in Redondo Beach, CA. The original 50-acre shopping center opened in 1957 with an 800,000 square foot open air design anchored by May Co. Following an 18-month renovation and reconstruction phase-designed by RTKL Associates of Dallas- the center now encloses more than 1 million square feet of GLA in an elegantly simple three-level configuration. Only 500 feet from end to end, The Galleria at South Bay is about one-half the length of a typical regional mall. Uninterrupted sight lines allow shoppers to see storefronts on levels above or below."

2023 Pirate Display

A largish redcoat fort I built as part of a pirate collaborative build with CoWLUG and DENLUG. It will be joined with builds from 10 other local builders to form a massive layout. My section features 4 powered lantern lights, a motorized windmill, and motorized flying seagulls.
