it's halloween night. outside, the world is alive—music thumping from houses, kids running through the streets, laughter echoing in the cool air. but inside her bedroom, it’s quiet. too quiet.

she’s lying on her big teddy bear, scrolling through her phone, legs lazily swinging behind her. angel wings rest on her back, a delicate contrast to the lace barely covering her body—white bra, thin, lacy thong. soft. pure. untouched.

or so she thinks.

“where you goin’, angel?”

her breath catches. her fingers freeze. she turns too fast, eyes widening at the figure standing in the shadows by her window.

rafe.

he’s leaning against the frame, tall, broad, his presence suffocating. the dim glow of her fairy lights barely reaches him, but she sees the smirk curling his lips, the way his eyes drag over her body, slow, knowing.

"r-rafe?" her voice is a whisper, barely there.

he steps closer, like a predator cornering its prey. "asked you a question, baby."

her pulse pounds against her ribs. "i-i'm going to my boyfriend’s house."

his smirk vanishes.

boyfriend?

his fingers twitch.

"boyfriend, huh?" he hums, crouching beside the bed, his hands gripping the edge of the mattress. "since when?"

"i—i don't have to tell you that."

wrong answer.

his hand moves fast, fingers curling around her ankle, dragging her toward him. she gasps, struggling to push herself up, but he’s already on the bed, caging her in.

"where’s the party, angel?"

she shakes her head, squirming beneath him. "i-i can’t—"

"can't, or won’t?" his hand slides up her thigh, fingers grazing the thin lace of her thong, teasing. "don’t be difficult, baby. tell me where it is."

"p-please, rafe, let me go."

he laughs, low and dark. "not happenin’."

his hand moves higher, fingers tracing the edge of her bra, skimming over her cleavage. her breath stutters, skin burning beneath his touch.

"i hate this," she whispers, turning her face away.

"do you?" he grips her chin, forcing her to look at him. "then why’s your heart beating so fast?"

she swallows, tears welling in her eyes. "312 p-pelican dr, kill devil hills, nc. his name is t-tyler."

his smirk returns.

"see?" he coos, brushing his thumb over her bottom lip. "that wasn’t so hard, was it?"

his mouth crashes against hers before she can answer. his kiss is rough, claiming, his fingers tangling in her hair as he presses her deeper into the mattress. she whimpers, hands pushing weakly at his chest, but he doesn’t stop.

"you taste so fuckin’ sweet," he groans against her lips, licking into her mouth, swallowing her protests. "been wantin’ to do this for so long, angel."

his lips trail down, kissing over her jaw, her neck, his breath hot against her skin.

"rafe—"

his teeth sink in.

her body jerks, a strangled whimper slipping from her lips as fire spreads through her veins. his hands tighten on her waist, holding her still as he drinks, his groan vibrating against her skin.

her vision blurs, her strength slipping away.

when he finally pulls back, his lips are stained red, eyes blown dark with hunger.

"mine," he murmurs, licking the blood from her throat.

she doesn’t even have the strength to fight it.
