Something I've Notice

I've noticed a gross trend that some people stop respecting pronouns of non binary datables for two very different reasons.

Reason One: A character is attractive

It really feels like some people can't fathom the idea that nonbinary people can be hot. This is commonly seen with Bobby and Mac. I just don't get why it's difficult to respect pronouns in general, but the idea that enbies have to be unattractive to be respected is so icky.

Reason Two: They hate a character

This reason is so fucked up, point blank. I don't know how to put this without being a dick. Pronouns aren't a privilege that you can revoke like a fucking driver's license, and if you do this, I despise you.

This is normally done with Lux and Rebel. Now I love these two, but I know I'm in the minority with that opinion. I've seen so many people calling them the correct pronouns until the player is insulted, and like a fucking light switch flip, they start referring to the two as he or she only.

This is just awful. This happened to me more than once. My gender isn't a cute little hat that you can just snatch from my head and throw away because you're mad at me. Any gender shouldn't depend on you to like someone to respect their existence. If you don't get that, then please fuck off from civilisation.

I don't know that to call this.

It's weird to see your hyper fixation die in front if your eyes ya know, like you can't stop it because there is no way too. I know everything ends eventually but it's just like bitter that this is how one of your childhood memories ends.

It also doesn't help that I haven't found anything to replace it. Sure I like other shows, movies, and games but nothing has grabbed me like Camp Camp had and still does. Hell to say it's ending isn't even true because it has ended.

I know it wasn't the greatest show ever. I'm currently thinking of an post that focuses on my favourite character being so flimsy with their characterization. The jokes were great when they hit, but also absolutely tragic to watch when it missed. The theme of loneliness, selfishness, toxic thinking, and growing up were cool even they focused on it.

Now will I still make camp camp stuff, yes. Will I also rewrite it for shit and giggles, or as an excuse to practice my skills, also yes. Am I devastated that my childhood show ended in such a lukewarm way, not really. More upset about the hole it left, that hasn't been filled by anything else yet.

The UK riots

Look I'm not really a political blog, that isn't my vibe mostly because I want to be a place and face that people go to when they want to escape reality for a little while or look at bright art, however the riots in the UK are insane to me.

Currently the part of the UK I'm from doesn't have these barbaric imbeciles plaguing the streets, but I have a feeling that we will get our own wave soon enough. I hope everyone who is effected by this is currently somewhere safe, if that means you are in a hotel room for a few days then that's good because it means you are more likely to be safe.

American Lefts I haven't seen you guys posting or spreading awareness of what English,Scottish, Northern Irish, and Welsh minorities are going through at this current time. Now I understand that USA is going through alot of political turmoil, and that there are many wars going on, but please don't ignore the serious dangers that refugees, people who practise all kinds of religions, and POC facing.

Other People from the UK if you have any common sense and compassion then you can understand that everyone should feel safe on our soil, yes it is tragic that three children lost their lives to a man, but that man doesn't describe a whole group of people. Now if you don't understand that then I mean this as kindly as possible, your a waste of air on this tiny blue ball we call home.

Back on my shit

Why is the narrative of the show so backwards. It's trying to go for a everyone is the asshole situatuion, but they aren't. Objectively Stolas is just the worst person in this situation. This manchild forced Blitzo into a sexual relationship, there is no other way to put it.

If he didn't give Blitzo the book he would have no way to do his job, and Stolas knew this. he could of gave him it without wanting anything back, and that my dear reader would of been more impactful because it shows that the bird bitch would put his whole life on the line just to help him out, but as we all know that didn't happen. Stolas made an offer that Blitzo really couldn't afford to say no to.

Now that alone should make it clear why Stolas is the problem, but no. Apparently Blitzo is the main issue, and we know the show wants us to infer this because of all the damn Fuck Blitzo merch that was released, also how the newest episode frames their relationship.

Why is he painted this way you may ask, and to answer that...I really don't know why? I mean honestly the most he has done against Stolas is steal from him, which is be pretty bad, but even then he was a kid being forced to by his dad, I mean what else has he done? I guess he was disappointed with Stolas when he hid from him at Ozzie's but that's not a bad thing, it's actually a valid way to feel. Is it because he isn't falling head over heels for Stolas? If it is that then um...tough shit, like seriously Stolas isn't entitled to someone because he wants them, he just needs to get over it. I mean those are the options we as the viewer have.

Also another thing I find more funny than anything this show has ever written is is when Stolas say

"I dOnT LoOk DoWn oN yOu!"

He is physically looking down at Blitzo, while demeaning him by being passive aggressive. Which describes their dynamic perfectly.

The show is honestly boring because all the fun stuff happened before the series even started. You might wonder what the hell I mean. Well, this show feels like an epilogue of all the fun shit. Moxxie and Millie are great if not perfect examples of this.

The couple started off married, now this isn't inherently a bad thing, but there's a reason why many shows don't do this. You will feel more invested if you get to see the relationship make steps towards that big goal instead of starting off there. It's like playing a game, sure you want to reach that next big boss but you normally have to defeat smaller bosses to get to that fight because when you win against that boss it feels way more rewarding. I would fix this by making them more of a situationship that slowly builds into something romantic, then devolpe it into marriage.

Millie's whole family situation has already kind of been dealt with because fuck fun conflict. Moxxie's family and mafia conflict has also been dealt with before the show really starts. I mean aside from exs and ows, which felt like more of a backstory episode anyway. His self-confident issues are the only thing he needs to really overcome. Millie is still too much of a cutout to even get a fault out of, the most I have is her anger issues...maybe insecurities but that seems to flip-flop around like a dying fish.
