Its all about your Mindset
Going From a Fixed Mindset to a Growth Mindset
Lesson #1: growth is not linear. You will not improve drastically overnight. As Iâve stressed this before, things take time and consistency and concentration.
A fixed mindset is basically a belief that the person youâre born as - your intelligence and talent - are fixed. They cannot be changed, no matter what.
Science has shown that this is not true. Itâs 100% possible to get smarter over time and with dedicated effort.
This is what a growth mindset is - believing that you can be better over time, and that your current level of intelligence and talent is temporary.
People with fixed mindsets are insecure, and it shows. Fear of failure; taking constructive criticism to heart; feelings of jealousy when someone they know is doing well⊠weâve all known a person like this, and been this person ourselves at some point in our life.
Growth mindset is therefore the opposite but the effects are as grounding; it can help battling anxiety, depression, burnout issues, behavioural issues and so on.
I understand that a lot of you donât have people in your life with a similar mentality of personal growth. Iâm therefore reopening my Discord. My followers can meet, connect and help each other out.
Now, how does one transition from a fixed to a growth mindset?
Here are some things I think could help:
1. Detaching yourself from the definition of failure
If youâve already decided the outcome of a certain situation without even trying, then youâre still stuck in a fixed mindset. Things like âthereâs no point in me applying for that job because I donât have the skills and I wonât get it anywayâ - applying for that job wouldnât hurt, even if you donât get it. Stop limiting your opportunities that you never know could actually work out. A growth mindset person will always try to make most of the opportunities they have.
2. Not getting attached to any outcomes
Donât get attached to favourable or unfavourable outcomes. When something goes well, have gratitude in your heart but donât let it get to your ego. Life is about constantly learning. Donât get attached to compliments and donât get disheartened by criticism.
3. Actively working on yourself
You can learn a language at any age. You can start learning how to dance or sing or ride a horse at any age, if youâre doing it for the pleasure of learning (getting into competitive stages could be challenging if youâre not young). Someone who works on themselves has a growth mindset.
4. Stop self depreciating yourself
If I see one more IG bio that says âIâm so boring uwuâ I will literally throw hands. Stop talking shit about yourself. Classic fixed mindset case. Itâs childish and people pleasing behaviour.
5. Stop the comparison game
Stop resenting the people around for the good work they do in their life/ if their life is easy. We all have our challenges, whether we show them publicly or not. The more you work on your inner peace and inner self, the less youâll feel the need to compare yourself to someone else. Jealousy is a disease and a sign of a fixed mindset.
6. Appreciate and thank yourself for being you.
If youâre nice to your mum, siblings, friends when they need your support⊠you can be nice to yourself too. Growth mindset does not come from berating yourself.
7. Recognise mistakes and take accountability
Admitting that youâre wrong is never easy. However, Iâll always have respect for someone who can admit that they messed up, rather than someone who will make up stories to justify their antics.
8. Provide yourself with at least 3 productive self-care hours a week
Self care here doesnât mean skin care or hair care. I mean brain care. You feed your brain good things that it needs to stay calm and ever-growing.
These could include: brain games, mediation, a hobby, watching an educational documentary, doing a short online course, reading⊠anything thatâs good for your brain.
9. Stop being a chameleon
Have you ever met those sort of people who will do anything to fit in? It could adopting that groupâs mannerisms, thought processes, opinions⊠now, to an extent, that is normal and subtle. However, when it starts going too far to a point where you canât be yourself anymore, thats a problem. In my opinion, thatâs an example of not being able to practice your growth mindset publicly.
Privately, you may be growth oriented - but it needs to reflect in your words and actions. If youâre holding yourself back in doing certain things because youâre afraid of what other friends will think of you, you need better friends. Embrace people who have a growth mentality.
10. Using social media for better purposes
I made a separate Instagram account where I only follow educational stuff - think history, geography, arts and architecture, science, tech, business - and absolutely no people. Itâs my way of using social media to ensure I learn more. Social media may be the devil, but you can be smart and alter it to your purposes, to give you that kick that you need to educate yourself.

A happier life in 2023
Health
Nourish your body properly, drink enough water, eat your greens, and take vitamins.
Don't punish yourself if you're having a bad day, are upset, or had something negative happen in your life, dont take it out on your body by depriving yourself of your daily needs.
Aim to become the healthiest version of yourself. Exercise and eat to feel your best, focus on your education, read, and be social.
Try therapy. Talking to someone helps you organize your thoughts, especially if you struggle with overthinking or anxiety. It's 2023; there is no shame in asking for help!! <3
80/20 rule. Find balance in your diet and lifestyle.
Mindset
Treat yourself with care and love. You deserve to feel good; start by appreciating yourself more and aim to feel comfortable within yourself.
Stop comparing yourself, your life and your accomplishments to others. Everyone has a different back story, don't compare your beginning to someone else's middle.
Ignoring negativity. Maybe delusion truly is the key to happiness. Remember the brightest moments, write them down and keep them close to your heart. :)
Smile at people. If you start sending good vibes, they will eventually come back to you.
Be kind. Small acts of kindness can truly mean the world. <3
Lifestyle
Spent more time in the sun. Try reading, studying, or exercising outside when it's sunny!
Be organized. Buy a planner, try notion, start using your calendar more. Staying organized is a great way to reduce stress in your day-to-day life!
Small daily comforts, a nice perfume, your favourite tea or coffee... simple small things that you can look forward to every day <3
Establish routines. Getting up earlier, open your curtains, some simple stretches, having daily routines can be so relaxing and fun!
Save money not just for emergencies but also to treat yourself! Set yourself saving goals for things that you've been wishing for :)

guide to get organized and create habits in your life
maybe you think that with your current pace of life, all those things you have to do in the day, it is impossible to create a healthier lifestyle, that's only for people who have money or a lot of free time and it is not so, the key is in the organization and planning of your days, but more importantly: that you really want to level up.
steps to start.
eliminate your beliefs, "it's not possible", "it's not a realistic lifestyle", "it's not possible", or "it's not a realistic lifestyle". if you really want to improve there are no excuses, the only limits are created by you.
what are your goals? what do you want to achieve with all this? the most important thing is to have a healthy lifestyle, but besides that, it may bring you closer to future goals or become your best version to achieve what you want, whatever it is, with bad habits you can not succeed.
plan your days and get organized, you don't need much for this, you can get a weekly planner or write the night before in a to-do list what you have to do the next day, create a routine from that, incorporate into your days those new habits, you always have 30 minutes or 1 hour for exercise, for example, everything is a matter of organizing yourself, but remove the thought of "i don't have time".
create your own lifestyle, you can be inspired by what you see in social media but may not fit you or what you want to achieve, it is easier than it seems, you just have to be clear about what you would like and from there start with new habits or activities, just think: what would make the best version of myself?
start now, do not wait for tomorrow, start organizing how your day will be tomorrow, what things would you like to try, start with 5 minutes of yoga? read that book that you have postponed for a long time? do it and little by little create a routine. for example, you can start by going for a walk for 30 minutes 3 days a week, reading a book at least 15 minutes before bedtime, changing the convenience food for a healthier option and so with everything.
and enjoy the process, not the result, the important thing is to be happy with our life and lead a healthy pace, not the result we want to get, that will come but meanwhile, it is important to enjoy the small improvements that we are incorporating in our day to day.

drink plenty of water during the day
create good sleep schedules (you don't have to get up early, but get enough sleep to have energy the next day)
replace junk food for healthier options.
do any kind of exercise every day.
read things that nourish your mind.
limited time on social media, only consume that which is positive.
stop talking bad about others and yourself.
be aware of your health and self-worth.
meditate before waking up and before sleeping.
write a diary or keep a record of your days, so you can also motivate yourself and see your progress.
whatever makes you happy and is beneficial to you.
having a healthy lifestyle always has to be beneficial for you, you don't have to follow to the letter other people's routines or my recommendations, you don't have to force yourself to do things you don't like, just find what you enjoy and it will benefit you in the future, but always focus on you and what is best for you đ€

be aware of your qualities and express them you can write down what are your qualities to be more aware of them and start to be more conscious of them in your day-to-day life, sure you have a lot of them and that makes you unique and beautiful

sunday reset routine <3
first things firstâŠ
clean out any trash in your room. throw it all away, and take any dirty dishes out of your room as well
return things to where they belong. Move your computer from your bed to your desk, move your bags back to their hanger, you get the idea
reorganize messy areas. Drawers, shelves, or cabinets whatever has become disorganzied or messy over the week
do your laundry. Itâs okay, we all get that big mess of dirty clothes that just piles up throughout the week.
Now time to deep clean!
take time to wipe down all surfaces. Use disinfecting and cleaning wipes to remove collected dust and dirt. This includes desks, tables, counters, etc.Â
strip your bed. Wash the sheets, comforter, blankets, and pillow cases
vacuum the floor. Pick up any small pieces of trash you mightâve missedÂ
put away all your clothes. Once theyâre done washing, donât just leave them in the hamper. Fold them up and put them away where they belong
Focus on yourself
shower & skincare! On my Sunday resets, I like to take longer showers and use all my body scrubs and body butters and shower gels. wash your face with cleanser, scrubs, exfoliant, etc. moisturize and use a face roller for a few minutes. Id also recommend doing a face or hair mask
light some candles and meditate. Doing a longer meditation will make your headspace feel less cluttered and more put together. itâs like organizing in your head! This would be a good time to cleanse your crystals as well
journal. Take out your journal and write down your goals and plans for the week. you can also take this time to write manifestations, affirmations, or do a few journal prompts.
finally, do whatever you want. At the end of the day, when everything has been cleaned and organized, you can take time to yourself and do whatever you feel like doing. Not all of us have the time during the week to just relax and do what we want in that moment, so take this time to do that! you can watch youtube, draw a picture, play a game, whatever you want.
