One day when I’m rich enough I want a big wine cellar with old dusty bottles of wine that I will open only on special occasions to boast about my wine collection

Hello, I had disappeared for a while because I was suffering from a viral fever and excruciating joint pain, which has just gotten worse. Doc says it'll take 4-6 weeks to get better. I can't be MIA for that long so am back, limping through life and hoping that I will get well soon 🌸

My friends and I would buy a garland each of the sweet smelling flowers like jasmine or tuberose and we'd wear it across like a sling. It was like carrying a natural perfume when we were pandal hopping through crowded streets or when we were sweating it out in the Kolkata heat.

We walked into a lane at Kumortuli where idols were made. This man was sitting and patiently carving/sculpting the clay and designing this clay pillar for one of the Durga idols.

On our first day in Kolkata we stopped at Kumortuli to see how the Durga idols were made. Amazing how the idols are carved, painted and decorated. I love the details! The eyes, the crown, the sari and the all the colourful sparkly accessories!

I love capturing faces but I don't click portrait photographs as much. Maybe I should do a little photo project on Portraits !
