the sunbearer duology where

the antagonistic characters are lgbtq+ and despite, antagonism, identities and pronouns are respected

the entire world built has lgbtq+ identities and genders and disabled characters & it doesnt become the primary reason characters don't get along or dont fit in.

girls are tall and strong, and hot and mean

Spanish words are interspersed with English.

even the bullies are angry that the ability to utilise sign language for a deaf person is unavailable because reading lips is very taxing and challenging

boys are nervous, boys cook.

adoption (his)stories that aren't necessarily joyful or "happily received"

abusive characters that are women and not the angry man trope

abuse storylines but not the wrong overused statement: "but that's your relative..."

so new hyperfixation with not a big enough fandom i read the sunbearer trials duology and i was trying to indulge after finishing celestial monsters. GUESS WHAT I FIND OUT this fandom has some loyal ass fans but not enough i go on ao3 and not enough ffs and tumblr there is a lot but I'VE WENT THROUGH IT

don't present androgynously

use "binary" pronouns in any capacity

identify partially with a binary gender

have a "gendered" name

don't experience body dysmorphia

don't experience gender dysphoria

DO experience gender dysphoria/body dysmorphia but aren't sure what gender or body would suit them

just experience body/gender apathy instead

can't be open about their gender identity yet

you're all absolutely valid.

don't ever feel like you're "not nonbinary enough" because you absolutely are! 💖
