reverse!au where GV200 is a prototype made by Kamski and given to FBI to assist them in their investigations related to androids. He was paired up with Richard Perkins who usually took the hard to crack cases no one else would take. he would usually get damaged almost all the missions. Due to him coming back from his latest mission severely damaged he got irreversible software glitches. He was later donated to dpd police force.  His physical durability and strength makes him great at field jobs despite the software issues. Even after the physical repairs, his synthetic skin doesn’t recover at his nose where it was damaged before, they think its one of the software issues.

so yeah Perkins kept him scarred around for a long time because he thought ıt was funny. Perkins saw him as a toy and put him in unnecessarily dangerous situations to ensure he gets damaged. He took him to his home too because tools were to be used so he used him at home as he pleased. (you can interpret it whichever way you want because this ıs a bit of dark au at the beginning) Traumas caused GV200 to deviate but he kept up a good act. He doesn’t know what’s waiting for him in the police force but he hates his new partner has the same name as the one before.

Kinda related story but I have severe allergies to almost every food group and makeup in general so when it was time for a play I was in I didn’t use makeup(which was allowed since the play was Peter Pan and I played Omnes, who casually hadn’t appeared in modern literature for abt 200 years but had a surprising amount of lines despite that) and I instead used stuff I brought from home to just smudge brown “dirt” and green stains on my face and neck. Cue me and a few of my friends violently scrubbing it off because oh my god wrong makeup

Anyways imagine Chekov(bc ofc Chekov)experiencing similar things bc his ass doesn’t know how to do makeup and didn’t know he was violently allergic to it I just think it would be very silly

broke: the makeup in tos was just stage makeup and it was never intended to be seen in high definition, therefore we should assume the characters weren’t meant to be seen as wearing makeup

woke: spock woke up every day and chose to slay in that purple eyeshadow and everyone else thought he looked so hot that they started doing it too
