I have not posted about the Tencent animation concepts on this account due to the company using AI for them.

It a huge slap to the face of all of the wonderfully talented artists and animators that have made the community what it is. Without such a strong fandom, they would not have the show to begin with. There is no excuse for greed.

Instead, I will push you to revisit either your favorite Warriors content (AMVs, MAPs, PMVs, etc) or maybe give a new creator some love! Fanartists have built this community to what it is and we will continue to expand. Say no to AI!

vicky says here. that the alibaba movie. had a script. presumably a Full script.

so yknow how fnaf was like. the development hell movie ever. like it was announced in 2015 (that's nine full years ago) but only came out last year. like. i was nine when it was announced and when it actually came out i was a legal adult.

yeah so. at one point. several years ago. there was a full entire script written for the fnaf movie. and the creative team said. no. no we're going to leave. we will make a whole different movie with a whole new script. goodbye

and so the good people at warner bros. said. fuck you we wrote a whole script we're getting a goddamn movie out of it.

and they sure fucking did

the banana splits movie is a parody of an old children's tv show made directly using the abandoned early script of the fnaf movie. and like. you can tell. if anyone was a fnaf fan back in 2015 (like me) you'll know that it was a common headcanon that foxy was actually just trying to help the player. this headcanon is directly in this script. they were going to make good guy foxy canon in the original script for the fnaf movie but that's beyond the point

and from what i've been told while the warrior cats movie was primarily working with the chinese studio alibaba pictures there was apparently some involvement. with Warner Brothers. the distributors of the banana splits film

so what i'm saying. is that there is a non zero chance. that some time in the near future. a low budget fantasy movie about animals with a plot very similar to warrior cats will be released where all the names and shit have been changed but you can still Clearly Tell that this was The Warrior Cats Movie.

Flintwhisker Voice Claim animatic from almost a year ago! Made for this project :) I'm looking forward to creating more of these for Wingedclan next; I've been working hard to finish up all the relevant members and I'm only missing 2 planned ones now!

While I love Warrior Cats I will not be quiet about my disdain of the current project for an animated series made by Tencent. While I am sure the artists who are working on it are quite talented, the use of AI art in any artistic endeavor is, in my opinion, inadmissible, as it's an unethical tool made with unethically sourced images that consumes too much electrical energy to be sustainably utilized.

It is also a slap in the face to a community full of talented artists who have, for decades, for free, tried bringing to life Warriors through animations and art, to give the rights for an animated series to a multicorporation who won't think twice about using AI. After shutting down Little Dragon Studios for their effort in making the Into the Wild series, threatening them with legal action because of their labor of love, and then turning around and giving money for this project is, for lack of a better word, disrespectful.

I won't support the animated series, and as far as I'm concerned, I might also not support the books if Erin Hunter and Harper Collins will defend them publicly.

PS: any racism towards the company or the artists is not tolerated here. I don't give a shit about the laws there, if I catch anyone going "this sucks because it's a Chinese company" or any variation I will block you. I do not condone racism in any way on this blog or out of it.

PPS: I don't care for the bipedal cats or the flower cats, that is a creative decision that I can dislike or like, but in the end is nothing more than that.

some of my fav pieces from the past month+fan animation wip for a rad tumblrian 🙏🙏 honestly rlly proud of the first drawing and also the walk cycle of my oc Snakeclaw !!! had to remove some of his scars for easier animating and mightve forgotten his cape pattern, but overall super proud. and also expect the fan animation to be out soon,, hoping to finish it by the end of the week as ive already been working on it and its only 30 seconds or so, but I make no promises !!

This is something I started working on back in March, put down for several months, and then picked back up a week or two ago. I saw a production of Urinetown earlier this year, and it was fantastic as always, but this time something sparked in my brain about the uncertainty over cats leaving the Kin and disappearing and no one knows what happens to them, and the uncertainty over what actually happens to the townspeople sent to Urinetown, and this musical does not get nearly enough love and attention, so I figured a fun Warriors animatic to this song wouldn't hurt, and it was a lot of fun to work on. :D

The drawing itself features a joyful Twigpaw and Violetpaw embracing with joy at the realization that Darktail is dead, the Kin is gone, and they are finally free. Hawkwing looks on with love, joy, and pride at his daughters, and the ghost of Needletail looks on, happy that her friend is finally free, but a bit sad that she can't be with her for this moment. I'm pretty proud of how it turned out. :D

God I hope the song name doesn't give people the wrong idea, I got a few weirded-out reactoins when I told people what I was working on, but it's a good song and a good musical dangit, it won Tonys! XD

I know it's really rough and sketchy but god this is a four-minute long video and there was absolutely no way I was going to finish anything that long without simplifying the drawings a lot. At least the ending should help make up for that. ;)
