It's me once again! I though this was pretty genius.
"We needed shade on the actress’ face, and equipment was scare. I nobly sacrificed my jacket and made this, but we didn’t even end up using it in the shot…"

Ms. Leursen makes trouble in the library.
Alright, here's a short new animation!
Now, I was working on bigger stuff, but it turned out to be too big for my already-limited animation time, so I had to set it aside for the time being. I made THIS one instead, based on a script I wrote while I was animating Genius Cop 2.
I tried out some new stuff, namely a new lip sync method. While I love the result, there was just too much work involved, so I'm going to have to find a good middleground.
I wrote it at the time because I realized that Ms. Leursen (who I consider to be one of my more iconic characters) is only in three of my animations, and one of those is a remake of the other! Plus she's just fun to work with, both in writing and in animating. She listens to the least of my animation rules. If you're interested, you can find her in Funny School Things, Funny School Things 2, and Funny School Things Redux.
I'm still open for doing voiceacting by the way, if anyone is looking for voiceactors!
Alright, time for another semester of classes. We'll see what kind of free time that translates to (spoiler alert: probably none).

Oh and a bag of trail mix.”

Oh, it's me. I was the car. And the sound guy. Our crew was very small.
"We needed a car, for a car crash scene! so instead of a real car we used two gobo arms with a light mounted on each side. While tapping and clamping the light switch on to the arms, and using 30 feet of stingers. It tuned out great! "

A hot day pushes a guy to his limits.
Just animated this for a class assignment. It's about a guy and a ceiling fan.

Look, it's me...
"Needed a close up shot of the alarm clock, but forgot a tripod. Used a roll of masking tape to position the clock, and a box and a plastic spoon to position the camera. An Ikea reading light was the only light I had available."

The current state of my next film. I'm trying to do all of my sound work in Premiere and it's quite a pain...

This began as an old color negative I found in a shoebox at home, taken when I was very small. I took it to a darkroom and enlarged it onto black and white photo paper. I then scanned, brought it into Photoshop, and attempted to color it. With absolutely no reference. This is what came out of it. Newgrounds has a higher quality version of it if you're interested in that kind of stuff: http://www.newgrounds.com/art/view/aqlex/apricots
Nevermind, they took it down.

This is basically my first attempt ever at a comic. For my Graphic Novel class, we had to make a strip out of the Jack and Jill nursery rhyme. This is what I made.
