The US government is suing Adobe for allegedly hiding expensive fees and making it difficult to cancel a subscription. In the complaint filed on Monday, the Department of Justice claims Adobe “has harmed consumers by enrolling them in its default, most lucrative subscription plan without clearly disclosing important plan terms.” The lawsuit alleges Adobe “hides” the terms of its annual, paid monthly plan in the “fine print and behind optional textboxes and hyperlinks.” In doing so, the company fails to properly disclose the early termination fee incurred upon cancellation ��that can amount to hundreds of dollars,” the complaint says.

So you might have heard about Adobe's new TOS giving them access to all the files you upload to their cloud.

I don't use that cloud service since I like to store things locally, so seeing how they think they can use anything you upload there for AI training purposes, I'm filling up my entire 20 GB storage with random Nightshade-poisoned images.

I recommend others do this as well. Let's poison Adobe's well!

Adobe Has Entered the AI Ring

This post has been live for 19 hours, and they're not pulling in nearly enough attention, I assume because everyone's so fucking exhausted by the shit with CSP happening just last week.

I cannot stress enough: ADOBE IS THE IMPORTANT TARGET. Way more important than Clip Studio.

They set industry standards. They can force changes like this without giving a fuck about individual customers, because by and large their products are licensed hand over fist by everyone in the entertainment industry.

This is absolutely the time to mob the shit out of Adobe's mentions.
