Welcome to the Unmanipulated Diaries! We're Max or Kenneth (or Kenny, for short). This blog is an online diary of our experiences as a transmasc non-binary person that was originally manipulated into "remaining a girl" by our friends and family. This diary is our way of navigating who we are and getting comfortable being in our own skin again!

I hate being a stupid people pleaser. Can't even dare to bother any of our friends to help us during a bad panic-induced spiral because it's "too late" and we don't want to wake them up—despite the fact that they have repeatedly told us that we can talk to them whenever we may need it, no matter the time.
We're specifically avoiding talking about the issue causing this spiral with our two closest friends for good reasons. But our other friends? Why are we so hesitant? They've told us before that they are always there for us when we may need it, so why are we still terrified?
It's not an inconvenience. We are not an inconvenience. Everyone has told us that before. But the people-pleaser side of us refuses to believe it.
We're just a burden to everyone, I guess. So we must make up for it by listening to them whenever they need it but not letting them listen to us when we need it.
I'm so over this. I just want to cry and talk to someone about our issues right now.
Please, just let someone call us because they need us. Any of our friends, distract us, please, because we need the distraction. Distract us with your issues so we don't have to deal with ours.

I agree! I prefer it so much more when people lie and say that we pass as a guy, even if we're wearing a dress. Because knowing that your friend actually thinks of you as a guy rather than just acting nice because they think it's a "phase" (or whatever other reason they may have) is a powerful thing. It gives you self-esteem—especially after a lot of that is stripped away from the non-accepting culture we (personally) live in. It gives you hope that, maybe one day, you'll be able to pass to anyone who sees you, and that is a powerful hope to have, because it can help you get through the hard times.

Honestly when people tell me that they didn't realize I was trans, i mostly don't believe them because those same people sometimes misgender me anyways.
I don't know if cis people know this (and i don't know if trans people feel the same way), but know that I appreciate it so much more if one makes the effort to see me as a man despite the way i look, then lying about how I pass and how they thought I was a guy anyways.
I have no time for niceties. Too look deeper then my skin and see my soul inside, that is true allyship.
#trans#transgender#transmasc#transmasculine#ftm#female-to-male#we do the same thing with our irl friends too#we have two ftm friends and one mtf friend who are all in similar transphobic environments just as we are#we assure all of them that theyre handsome or pretty or whatever adjective they prefer because it helps to know someone believes you

Ah, what a perfect day to confuse an old lady why a "girl" is singing bass in their school's choir, while also being dressed androgynously and planning to sing soprano for the event. (Said jokingly but not sarcastically.)
Not to mention, they're also on crutches without a brace or cast on. Even more confusion for the old lady.
Today will be fun. xD

We had a dream last night where we got top surgery, and we were talking to all our trans friends about it, and for some reason bragging about it to our trans woman friend? Like, why? She literally wants the opposite, she wants the jigglies (or whatever Matthew called them). Was not expecting that, but now very sad to wake up and find out we didn't have top surgery. TwT

Our knee is killing us. So bad. It hurts so bad. But is that going to stop us from seeing our (fellow trans) brother from another mother? Most likely not. We want to give him the scarf we crocheted for him.
Who cares if that means we're going to be dead for days? Not us. 🕺🕺
On the other hand, we're not going to sign off posts with both our preferred names and whoever was in front when something was posted. Our preferred names are in our bio and in our intro post pinned to the top of our page. We're just going to write who was in front so then we as a system know who posted what. :)

Absolutely love our cargo pants, makes us feel so masculine. <3
Just love our outfit in general, flannel is just so madculine-izing (in our opinion) and it's so nice.

We (most likely) get to see our (fellow trans) brother today! :D
We're excited lol—we made a bracelet for him at school a couple weeks ago with his favorite color, the trans flag, and his name, and we can't wait to see how he reacts!
So hopefully, we'll actually get to see him.
- Max / Kenneth
Front: Andie (he/she/web)
Side note, I've been in front a lot recently. I wonder why that is... I'm literally just a fictive, I have no other role. xD

The dysphoria was hitting us like a truck today. No idea why, it just was. Maybe because, since Saturday or Sunday, we've been planning to dress hypermasculine tomorrow? And we're excited for that? No fricking clue, man.

Plural Ask Game
We figured we’d try making an ask game! This is for anyone who’s a system–regardless of origin–to use. Remember that you’re not obligated to answer any of these if any are too personal!
How many members are in your system, and does this number change frequently?
What are your collective pronouns, if you have any?
What’s your system name if you have one, and how did you choose it?
Are there any activities your system members like to do together? Collective hobbies? Talk about those!
What sort of music do people in your system like?
What’s the average age of your systemmates?
If you have a singletsona, what is it? Explain a bit about them!
Does anyone in your system have roles? If so, what roles?
How long have you been a system and/or known of your system?
How did you discover your system? What was the process?
What does switching feel like to you, if you switch at all?
Are your switches voluntary, involuntary or a mix? How often do you do it, if at all?
What’s your favourite part of being a system?
What’s your least favourite part of being a system, if you’re comfortable sharing?
Are your headmates generally different from the physical body? How do they differ from it?
Do you have any fictives/factives/etc? Tell us a little about them!
Does your system have a headspace? Are there multiple of them? What are they like?
Are there differences between systemmates surrounding sensory things? (For example, one person likes the taste of one food and another doesn’t.)
Does anyone have any different accents, or speak any different languages?
How would you describe your system in 3 words or less?
Do you have any LGBT+ headmates? What do they identify as?
Does anyone outside of the internet know you’re a system?
Do you have any cool/funny stories from inside the headspace that you’d like to share?
What’s some advice you’d give to yourself when you were first discovering your system?
What is something you wish singlets knew about plurality?
