I cant decided who to romance!!!!!!!!!! I was originally gonna romance Emmrich but love the dynamic Bellara and Savrin have, but also after Lucanis' Cafe date I'm 👉👈 uwu (also assassin crow boyfriend dynamic is v cute)

HOWEVER my next playthrough I'll be saving Minrathous instead of Treviso and that hardens Lucanis. So if I want to romance Lucanis, my current run is the one to do so, BUT THE MORE I HAVE EMMRICH AROUND THE MORE I PPPFGGGHSHASFJFJDK ya know? I just don't think Savrin is who I want to romance Emmrich...

And I still adore Bellara, like her and Savrin are really really cute together, and I'm lowkey sad I turned down Davrin the other day bc he was so fun to flirt with JUST UGHH WHY IS EVERYONE SO ATTRATIVE

One thing i didnt like about bg3 was it kinda went off the rails with the character connections. everyone's important

Oh this companion just happens to be from the house Baenre, you remember Jarlaxle? Oh this person? she literally knows Zariel, you know, the archdevil of Avernus. Oh this person just happens to be literally a god's - Mystra's ex, also remember Elminster? Oh this person literally stole from Vlaakith's armory, oh and the thing she stole can literally unmake Vlaakith's rule.

i know it adds to the spectacle yeah, but i guess i just want literal nobodies to rise to the occasion

Sunbathing (Hawke) 

Late spring in Kirkwall meant that the winds turned from the sea at last, cooling the city and blowing away the last of the winter’s chill. Hawke couldn’t help wanting to spend every free spring moment sunbathing in her walled courtyard, soaking up every ounce of warmth she’d been denied over the past six months. 

How fortunate that the others who lived in the house knew better than to disturb her while she was relaxing in the soft wind, the scent of flowers on the air, a cool drink set to the side, and all her worries—

“Maker’s breath, Hawke, you aren’t wearing a stitch of clothing!” 

Maria sighed and rolled onto her side, peering at her mortified friend. Aveline’s face had turned characteristically red and she’d clapped both hands over her eyes, as if two eyelids and one hand hadn’t been sufficient to shield her eyes. 

“Did I not ask two weeks past if it was technically legal to—”

“Gah!” Aveline said, turning smartly on her heel, and ran full-tilt into the doorway. 

Hawke shook her head after her friend, then rose and stretched expansively. It would seem that her time of rest outdoors was at an end. 

Shimmer (Arianwen)

She didn’t usually wait for him at the docks. 

Zevran’s return trips to Amaranthine weren’t always predictable, though he told her which day to expect him when he could. There was always business to do, and perhaps Arianwen enjoyed the anticipation in knowing he was so near, that he would amuse himself by sneaking into the keep and track her down soon.

But today she’d been at the docks anyway, and—well, why not wait for Zevran? Perhaps she could surprise him for once. Only she hadn’t anticipated being so tense about watching for him, for it seemed that every shimmer on the horizon must be his ship, that every flash of blonde hair on the docks must belong to him. There—was that—no. Again, no, and though she had been waiting only an hour it felt as if she’d been standing in this corner for an eternity. There—that distant shape, was that—

“Pardon me, my lady,” a beloved voice murmured into her ear, “but you appear to be looking for something. Perhaps I could help—”

Wen was spinning before he finished, hands already reaching for Zevran’s shoulders, whatever relief she felt swamped by pure, blinding joy at knowing he was at her side once more.
