okay finished the first book of the fish isekai series and it is RIDICULOUSLY fun -- it's like eating candy, sweet and stupid and very hard to stop. prince jing is perfect, i adore him

if zero day never happened, the two of them would be in their fourties, or almost there at least. they’ve graduated college. andre has a fantastic job as an electrical engineer, and cal is working in a publishing company. the house they live in is homey; it’s one story and decorated with band and movie posters, blankets, and a large fireplace.

every morning, andre drinks a cup or two of coffee while cal downs some ungodly flavor of an energy drink. they shower together simply to spend more time with one another. nothing has changed since they were teenagers. they’re still attached at the hip and closer to each other than anyone else.

their bed is never made unless family is coming over. cal’s mom hates seeing a messy room, and andre’s dad already doubts andre can be a responsible adult. whenever they come home from work, they play music and sit on the couch in silence. cal normally reads a book while andre lays his head in his lap.

more often than not, they meet each other on their lunch breaks. their jobs are not far away from one another, but they’ll never admit that they planned that. there’s a small cafe midway between them that has cheap sandwiches and drinks. cal always eats the food andre wasn’t able to finish.

it isn’t what they planned for in life. if you’d asked seventeen year old them what they’d be up to in the future, they’d say they didn’t have a future. they’d speak of zero day and zero day only. little did they know, they’d call off that plan in a couple months and live a life way better than they ever could’ve imagined.

do you have any zd headcanons about just like little basic things? like their favorite colors/movies/songs/animals?

EEEEE YES YES YES YES.

Andre's favorite color is a dark navy blue, and Cal's is a lighter forrest green!!

Andre loves industrial rock, punk pop (just hear me out.), and maybe some classics. Cal, in my heart i know listens to midwest emo on the downlow, but mainly rock, nirvana specifically, and a ton of specific indie music artists.

I'm not really a movie person, but I think Andre would like the Halloween or Scream series's (or really any type of bloody, gorey movie.) Cal would probably like the Outsiders. Generic and maybe out of character, but it seems like a him movie???

Andre absolutely loves bears... like, had a bear themed room when he was a kid. Cal would say his favorite animal was a platypus for shits and giggles, but actually really loves wolves.

Andre probably wouldn't drink all that much soda, but he definitely had a couple empty pepsi bottles laying around his room. Cal would say he doesn't like the taste of water and only drinks coke products. (Fanta specifically.)

Andre's room would be kept clean for the most part, maybe a bit messy leading up to Zero Day. For the most part though, he keeps it up in nearly military fashion. Cal is the complete opposite on this, you can barely see the floor from all the junk thats stacked up from over the years.

thoughts on bottom andre

REAL TALK I LOVE BOTTOM ANDRE SOSOSO MUCH 😌🙏

Ok so quick ramble BUUUUT I think it makes sm sense idk cuz Cal gives me such control freak energy LMAO. I know there r a lot of people that see Andre as the top, but honestly? I feel like it’s Cal. Like,, Andre was just more externally angry than Cal was, because Cal kept his rage inside I feel :3 !!

So uh going further with this,, I saw another post talking abt how Cal was manipulative with his “shy” persona— and it made SO much sense. Nobody really saw Cal’s deceitfulness,, even after Zero Day— all bc of their previous beliefs of Andre. Everyone believed that Cal was manipulated, even though he was the manipulative one. I think that Cal definitely showed his true colors to Andre in private and that he made Andre know who was in control over him !! I try to alternate between top Andre and bottom Andre cuz I rlly love both. But honestly I’m a sucker for bottom Andre.

Anyways thats my take !! Right now I’m working on top Cal & bottom Andre headcanons cuz my pookies want them and I love bottom Andre heh so I’m tryna get them done as soon as I can. I’m rlly excited to post them >:]

A few little sketches of some possible school uniforms for mage schools/learning centers for magic/etc. :0c Though because Nanyevimi is so scattered and disconnected, it'd actually vary much more by region (like not everywhere would have a cultural concept of what a suit jacket or neck tie looks like lol), so it's probably unrealistic for so many of them to follow too many traditional Uniform Conventions from cultures in our world, etc. But, still, fun to mess around with designs, and think about which would be most fun to wear/what school you'd go to just based off the clothing lol~
