Ok so... I wake up this morning with a crazy idea.

I was wondering about a fic when all the Voltron team are youtubers and they're youtubers name are like the originals paladins names. Maybe Keith is Zarkon, Lance is Alfor, Hunk is Gyrgan, Allura is Meleanor (idk parallels and the ship), Matt is Trygel, Romelle is Blayts (?) and Pidge is Honerva?????? And when they play minecraft the story is like the original paladin ones?????? PARALLELS, PARALLELS EVERYWHERE

Should I write a fic like this?

I mentioned in my previous post how SG!Optimus reminded me insanely of Zarkon, from Voltron, and the more I delved into this thought, this idea arose.

SG!Optimus x Haggar/Honerva!reader

Like, taking into account that in SG the Bots and the Cons have their opposite roles, I can see this Prime having met Reader in some kind of technological alliance that there was in his time on Cybertron before the war, (taking this optimus as in Megatron's place) when he was advancing in his political career.

So, for that reason, he has to meet the chief scientist of the autobot/(alien race) project, which ends up being Honerva! Reader, who despite being a brilliant mind, is actually quite friendly and sweet. apart from showing a lot of curiosity about Autobot technology, which causes them to be constantly after Optimus for their constant questions about the Autobots for the operation of the project (Optimus would refuse to accept that he only allowed this at the beginning because it boosted his ego, although he would lie if he did said they weren't adorable)

Ends up forming a strange friendship between the two, Optimus can genuinely respect Honerva!Reader not only for their efficiency in discovering new things for their projects, but also as a very ambitious person who does not say "no" to progress. although that ends up generating conflict between him and Megatron, who believes that Honerva!Reader might be going a "little" too far in terms of their tests.

This gets worse when they somehow manage to find a meteorite on their planet, made of DARK ENERGON. and they proceed to test immediately, even on THEMSELVES. making subtle changes in their personality, they become more hostile towards those who want to distance them from the project, they REFUSE to share more of their knowledge, something is wrong.

but Optimus seems to be an exception to this, if he notices something he simply believes that it is the consequences of working too hard.

until one day, it happens, Honerva!Reader have a breakdown and fait due to their prolonged exposure to Dark Energon, which alerts Optimus, obviously. that by this time they already have a more established relationship.

At this point, the tensions between him and Megatron are already insurmountable, so he doesn't even think about asking him for help, especially when Honerva! Reader tells him they need: Dark Energon, where? the earth of course.

but Optimus realizes that if he doesn't do something SOON, Honerva! Reader could die, so he ends up having Ratchet process the Dark Energon they had and GIVE IT TO THEM, AS MUCH AS THEY CAN TAKE, TAKING IT TOO.

As we know, they both end up "dying" but coming back to life (can you imagine if they had woken up after Cybetron was destroyed like what happened with Zarkon and Haggar in Voltron? It would be epic) and that's how Haggar is born! Reader.

Haggar reader is quite similar to their previous counterpart with the difference that they is a "druid" with various Dark Energon powers, however they are linked to Optimus by being the one who brought them back to life. Even if they come back with anxiety, they still see Optimus in a Master or power light. although in this case it probably wouldn't happen.

Although if it were to happen, Optimus takes the Zarkon route of taking Haggar!Reader as second in command, although not exactly in a military way but rather, well, as a conjux endura, you know what I mean. and Haggar!reader They're just like "oh well, this is my life now"

Can you imagine when Optimus is left in a coma due to the destruction of the first space portal? And how Haggar!Reader with Amnesia ends up remembering their past with him, using the connection of their dark energon to bring his mind back to his body and that will it heal even faster? it would be epic x2

they are definitely the complete opposite of, for example, the Starscream of the original dimension, they are completely loyal to Optimus, they do not question him, they do what he says, they do not hesitate to stab in the back those who THINK of betraying him, and they are respected and FEARED by that for the rest of the Lost Light . in exchange they end up receiving Optimus' unconditional love (they already had it before, but now there is nothing stopping him from having them all to himself).

Haggar!reader probably isn't even allowed to leave the ship or have a direct encounter with the Decepticons, either because the memories of their death upset them or because he(Optimus) doesn't want to risk having to revive them and go through that traumatic process AGAIN. They help in the same ways would do Original Soundwabe, but with Magic Powers instead of tecnology.

Primus prevents someone from plotting against Haggar!reader for the favor of Optimus, he will notice immediately and will have said bot opened ALIVE and he himself will tear off their Spark (probably something that he would like to happen would be that Haggar !Reader will participate in the torture, but ok, there seems to still be some Honerva! Reader. more fun for him).

I also imagine that Haggar!reader is the only one who can REALLY touch Optimus, in the sense that he could be giving an important speech about how the Autobots will crush the Decepticons, with Haggar!reader relaxing on his shoulder or one of his knees. watching everything like a loyal hawk.

Overall, a surprisingly healthy couple of space tyrants✨💜💛

~ Blaytz never meant to do it, he was just curious, but after Honerva took the paladins to meet an inventor friend of hers he touched a device out of curiosity which sent him forward in time

~ During his little journey to the future he went unconscious and didn't know where he was when he woke up

~ He definitely wasn't on Altea anymore, although when he woke up and saw the lions practically standing over him, he was more confused than before

~ Blaytz didn't know that he'd been transported to the future until the blue lion lowered her head, opened her mouth and revealed a woman he'd never seen before

~ It was strange seeing someone in his lion, but it was even stranger to see a woman wearing his armor and holding his Bayard

~ As it turns out the young woman was from the third generation of paladins, and yet you was the fourth blue paladin

~ Blaytz got along well with you and you filled him in on what happened and where they were

~ Earth was a nice place, even though he'd never heard about it before

~ Blaytz was grateful to know that Blue was in good hands in the future and that she'd been piloted by people who suited her well

~ Speaking of Blue, she still recognizes Blaytz as her paladin despite him being sent to the future from the past

~ He also got to meet the other four third generation of paladins, all of whom were different from the first generation and yet they were perfect matches for the lions

~ You were the one who filled him in on what happened after the first generation of paladins fell, or rather you gave him all the information you knew after hearing Coran's stories

~ Blaytz is shocked when he learns that Zarkon will, or rather had, destroyed the first generation of paladins after his and Honerva’s exposure to quintessence

~ He got to hang out with the third generation of paladins for a while and tell them about some of his adventures as the original blue paladin, as well as what the other four first gen paladins were like

~ Blaytz gives them a little advice about dealing with things that only the paladins of Voltron would have to deal with

~ He also gave the you some pick-up line ideas when he learned that you could be a little bit of a flirt, just like him

~ Tbh, even though you're human, he kind of views you as his granddaughter, even though the two of you aren't related

~ Eventually Blaytz gets sucked back into the past, and he knows that there's nothing he can do to prevent history from playing out the way the universe had planned, but he's at peace knowing that Voltron and the universe will be in good hands in the future

What’s up y’all? I’m here with another story from the prompt : Alfor learns Zarkon is getting married by @vld-prompts. Enjoy! 

The red sky on Planet Daibaazal seemed rather darker than usual. This was a beautiful darker shade of red. The sky was a beautiful ombre blended red to dark red with the sky full of stars. The sky and ground suddenly were full of light brown dust, quickly flying and dissolving in the air.  Out came the creator of Voltron; King Alfor of Altea. He nearly ran up the many stairs of Daibazaal to meet his friend on the platform. When he removed his helmet, Zarkon looked rather upset than content like he usually did. The snow-white haired king frowned, shaking his head. Zarkon had everything he wanted at his fingertips; what could he possibly be upset about?

“Is something wrong, Zarkon?” 

The King saw that he had something folded in his hands, his fists were clenched; hard. Zarkon looked flushed; so flushed as if he’d seen a ghost. 

As the two friends were on their way to the “Board Room”(The board room is a  room where Zarkon had important meetings with his high ranking generals), everyone was running up and down the halls with flowers, table cloths, balloons, and other elegant party favors trying to place them in their necessary places. The inside of the Galra Palace already looked fabulous, but these gold and red decorations made the little details pop. It was customary that no later than 1 phobe after a proposal, the groom has to provide a “welcoming dinner” for the brides’ family and close friends. This was done so that the “strangers” could be quickly acquainted. This event happened up until a movement before the wedding. Galra weddings were slightly different than the ones on Earth. Both the groom and bride wear matching colors of red, black, and gold while the audience wore just purple, pink, or white. Instead of the bride having a veil, she wore a flower crown full of her planet’s most popular flower. This symbolized delicacy and trust. The groom also wore a flower crown full of red roses. The roses symbolized love and commitment. Instead of reading vows, they light three candles; each symbolizing hope, faith, and encouragement.  It could be said that the Galra valued relationships more than any species in the universe. Alfor had asked Zarkon over and over what was bothering him but he kept skurring around the question. 

“Zarkon, you didn’t answer my question. What’s going on? Why is everyone running around like their heads are cut off?” 

“Boy, you can’t just let it go, can you?”

“Well, you’re acting rather strange.”

“How?”

“Well for starters, you haven’t said anything to Blaytz about him asking the server for his fighting schedule.” 

“I’ve never minded that.”

“You’re lying. Dare I ask? Why are you being so...nice?”

“What? I’ve always been nice!”

“No, you haven’t. You’re very stern.”

Alfor folded his arms and gave Zarkon the stare of slight intimidation. He wasn’t going anywhere until the tea was spilled.  

“Very well. I’ll tell you.” 

“I’m listening.” 

“Don’t make a big deal about this but...I proposed to Honerva 3 movements (weeks)  ago.” 

Alfor eyes widened and his mouth dropped nearly to the ground. His reaction was priceless! The King was rather surprised that his stern, follow-by-the-book friend had found love and that he was actually going to pursue marriage for love rather than seeking out a bride. You see, for several deca-phobes, each Emperor, Prince, and Princess would be matched with a partner to marry but Zarkon decided that he would no longer participate in that tradition. When he was a prince, his father tried to arrange for him to be married to a woman that attended the same military school as him. She was very nice and sweet, but he did not love her and she didn’t love him. Some Galra didn’t hesitate to tell  Zarkon about how disappointed they were once they found out that he was breaking tradition. It was more surprising that he was going to marry Honerva of all people. She was free-spirited in a way; not only did she enjoy learning and teaching others about science and the endless solutions it provided, but she also enjoyed her free time and did whatever she wanted. Zarkon on the other hand lives his life on a narrow path. He trained day and night and when he did have free time, he spent it hiding from Kova. Well, you know what they say...opposites attract. 

“That’s wonderful news! I saw her yesterday. Why didn’t she say anything?”

“I told her to keep it a secret. I was planning on telling you all once you came over for dinner. I wasn’t expecting for you to stop by so early.” 

“Well, cheer up! Marriage is a great thing! You’ve found your other half!”

“I’m aware of that I’m just...I don’t know...nervous…?”

Alfor laughed. Is this coming from the strong-willed Emperor Zarkon? No way. 

“This is why I didn’t want to say anything.”

“Forgive me Zarkon.  You are one of the most powerful leaders in the known universe. What do you have to be nervous about?”

“I may be powerful, but a charmer? No. I’m not funny like her. She’s smart and beautiful but me? All I can do is lead the military and that’s it.” 

“Obviously, there’s something that she likes about you. Whenever we met for our morning meetings for the last 12 phoebs (months), you were all she talked about! She said you had a sense of humor!”

“Huh?”

“That’s what I said.”

“Hey!”

“I’m just pulling your string, Zarkon. She said that your ability to lead shows how much you value the people around you and how you care about their safety and wellbeing. Don’t be so hard on yourself, my friend. Everything will be ok.” 

“I hope so. Can I ask you a question?”

“Sure.” 

Zarkon pointed to a room where he and Alfor entered and sat in two cherry red comfortable cushioned chairs. 

“What’s going through your head?”

Zarkon sighed and wiped his face. 

“How were you able to confess your love for Melenor in front of a crowd of people without tearing up?” 

“I imagined that we were alone. If you tear up, that’s ok! It’s perfectly normal to cry. Just look into her eyes and speak from the heart.” 

“I know...but--”

“I’m sure you did that when you proposed, didn’t you?”

“Yes. I have another question.”

“What is it?”

“How did you get through your...honeymoon?” 

Alfor smiled and raised a brow. He was a genius by day and a freak by night. 

“I can’t advise you about that. That’s something you and your wife will have to figure out.”

“How?”

“You’re overthinking it. Just wait for you two to be alone together in 5x5 room. Remember how you felt when you kissed her fo the first time? Multiply that by 10 million. Don’t worry. You’ll be fine.” 

Zarkon sighed in relief. Talking to his best friend made him feel so much better and more confident. What’s better than putting that confidence to the test? The door flung open and there stood a woman dressed in a purple gown and a purple hat with a beautiful flower on it. This was Zarkon’s royal advisor; she was his public representative. 

“Sir. Honerva is here,  awaiting your presence.”

“She’s here now? I told her--”

A heavenly sound came from behind this woman’s head. So quiet and elegant, I might add. Zarkon already knew who it was. He stood up straight and proceeded to the threshold of the door. 

“May I come in?”

Her bright blue eyes were piercing through his soul. She smiled because she was finally going to have some alone time to talk about their future and any other arrangements.  Her Altean markings began to glow as she began to scratch Kova on his stomach. She knew Zarkon hated Kova, but this was her way to pick at him in the most loving way possible. 

“Please, do.”

Parallels between Zarkon/Honerva and Keith/Pidge!!!

Ok.. so... I was rewatching Voltron when I noticed some parallels between Zanerva and Kidge. These are just theories so nothing is canon but I noticed that there are many thing so similar and that's pretty strange...

The way they met each other.

We know that Zarkon met Honerva when she was doing experiments and studying the portals of the differents reality, and Zarkon saw Honerva for the first time thanks to her cat Koba.

Well... Keith and Pidge really met for the first time when they went on Arus and decided to be a team for save the universe. Personally, I don't think they had a talk when they resqued Shiro but that's not the point. The point is how they met: thanks to the lions which are made with the comet that can travel through realities. Lions and cats are felines, so the same family.

2. The person who they both know

Honerva knew King Alfor since school (as we see in her memories on s8), while Zarkon knew King Alfor since they did the alliance, but they had never met before the comet's discovery. King Alfor is an altean.

As we know, Keith knew Lance since the Garrison, and so Pidge, and I add one more: it was Lance that decided to follow Keith when he tried to resque Shiro, while Pidge followed Lance. But there's more... Allura gave Lance altean marks on s8, so he's in part altean now...

3. Quintessence

Just don't be scared...

We know that both Honerva and Zarkon were corrupted by quintessence: Honerva worked with it while Zarkon went in close contact upon entering the rift. Allura told us that quintessence awakened the violent and evil nature of Zarkon (As we will also see with Lotor and the paladins in s6).

In s1 we can see Pidge working on the Galra cristal, which is full of quintessence, while Keith he hit a container of quintessence while fighting a druid, spilling some on himself. Familiar right?

Well, someone would say that that quintessence just cured him, but we can see that Zarkon could breath in space without oxygen, and in s6 Keith, while he was fighting with Shiro's clone, was still breathing in space without his elmet. In the same episode, we can see his Galra form awaken, in fact he became more violent... Just a coincidence?

And... they both entered in the rift...

4. Family

Have you ever seen how much they were willing to sacrifice everything for their family?

I mean... Honerva literally destroyed everything while Zarkon betrayed his friends and team for save his wife...

Pidge was very determined to find her dad and Matt and, as we can see in s1 ep1, she countered the mission to search for them or otherwise find information about them. And It's not the only time she does this. In s5, when Zarkon wanted Lotor in exchange for Sam Holt, we see how she is willing to do anything to get her father back, yelling at Matt, Shiro and all her team mates; not to forget that in s1 she threatened to quit the team for the same reason.

Keith is also willing to sacrifice his life for the people he cares about, such as Naxela for example. Also in s8, while the team is in Honerva's mind, you can see very well how he tries hard to save Pidge in particular, shooting and hitting the surface with the bayard, then falling to his knees and surrendering in defeat.

5. The titles

Ok... Now let's think about it...

Zarkon was a Galra black paladin..

Keith was also a Galra black paladin...

Honerva was a scientist...

Pidge is also a scientist...

Both are a Galra black paladin and a scientist!

Also, at the end of s8, Keith said that the Galra wanted him as their leader, but he refused. If he had accepted, the parallel would have been somewhat worse...

6. Pidge as Honerva references

Also, we can see how much Pidge and Honerva look similar extriorly.

For example, when she was working on the Galra crystal on s1, but there's more! In s4, when she was searching Matt, she went on a planet for a merchant, and she was wearing a black hood at the time, similar to Honerva's…

And, on s5, when Hunk, Lance and Pidge programmed a robot for fun, made some selfies. In one, we can see Pidge wearing Honerva's hood...

And that's all guys. But these are just crazy theories of mine. One thing I really wanted to say is that English is not my first language so there must be some kind of mistakes and I'm sorry about that...

Termina formando una extraña amistad entre ambos, Optimus puede respetar genuinamente a Honerva!lector@ no sólo por su eficacia a la hora de descubrir cosas nuevas para sus proyectos, sino también como una persona muy ambiciosa que no dice "no" al progreso. aunque eso termina generando conflicto entre él y Megatron, quien cree que Honerva!lector@ podría estar yendo "un poco" demasiado lejos en cuanto a sus pruebas.

Esto empeora cuando de alguna manera logran encontrar un meteorito en su planeta, hecho de ENERGÓN OSCURO. y proceden a probar inmediatamente, incluso sobre SÍ MISMOS. haciendo cambios sutiles en su personalidad, se vuelven más hostiles hacia quienes quieren distanciarlos del proyecto, se NIEGAN a compartir más de sus conocimientos, algo anda mal.

pero Optimus parece ser una excepción a esto, si nota algo simplemente cree que son las consecuencias de trabajar demasiado.

hasta que un día sucede, Honerva! lector@ tiene una crisis nerviosa debido a su exposición prolongada al Dark Energon, lo que alerta a Optimus, obviamente. que para este momento ya tienen una relación más establecida.

A estas alturas, las tensiones entre él y Megatron ya son insuperables, por lo que ni siquiera piensa en pedirle ayuda, especialmente cuando Honerva! lector@ le dice que necesitan: Energon oscuro, ¿dónde? la tierra por supuesto.

pero Optimus se da cuenta de que si no hace algo PRONTO, Honerva! lector@ podría morir, por lo que termina haciendo que Ratchet procese el Energon Oscuro que tenían y SE LO DA, TANTO COMO PUEDAN TOMAR, TOMANDOLO TAMBIÉN.

Como sabemos, ambos terminan "muriendo" pero volviendo a la vida (¿te imaginas si hubieran despertado después de que Cybetron fuera destruido como pasó con Zarkon y Haggar en Voltron? Sería épico) y así nace Haggar! Lector@.

Haggar!Lector@ es bastante similar a su homólogo anterior con la diferencia de que es un "druida" con varios poderes de Energon Oscuro, sin embargo está vinculado a Optimus por ser quien le devolvió la vida. Incluso si regresan con amnesia, todavía ven a Optimus en una luz de maestro o de poder. aunque en este caso probablemente no sucedería.

Aunque si sucediera, Optimus toma la ruta de Zarkon de tomar a Haggar!Reader como segundo al mando, aunque no exactamente de manera militar sino más bien, bueno, como un conjux, ya sabes a lo que me refiero. y el Haggar!lector@ Dice "bueno, esta es mi vida ahora".

¿Te imaginas cuando Optimus queda en coma debido a la destrucción del primer portal espacial? ¿Y cómo Haggar!lector@ con Amnesia termina recordando su pasado con él, usando la conexión de su energón oscuro para traer su mente de regreso a su cuerpo y que sanará aún más rápido? Seria epico x2

definitivamente son todo lo contrario de por ejemplo Starscream de la dimensión original, son completamente leales a Optimus, no lo cuestionan, hacen lo que él dice, no dudan en apuñalar por la espalda a quienes PIENSAN en traicionárlo, y son respetados y TEMIDOS por eso por el resto de la nave. a cambio terminan recibiendo el amor incondicional de Optimus (ya lo tenían antes, pero ahora nada le impide tenerlos todos para él solo).

A Haggar! Lector@ probablemente ni siquiera se le permite abandonar el Nemesis o tener un encuentro directo con los Decepticons, ya sea porque los recuerdos de su muerte los perturban o porque él (Optimus) no quiere arriesgarse a tener que revivirlos y pasar por ese proceso traumático OTRA VEZ. Ayudan de la misma manera que lo haría Original Soundwabe, pero con poderes mágicos en lugar de tecnología.

Primus evite que alguien conspire contra Haggar!lector@ por el favor de Optimus, él se dará cuenta inmediatamente y dicho bot sera abierto VIVO y él mismo arrancará su Spark (probablemente algo que le gustaría que sucediera sería que Haggar !lector@ participara en la tortura, pero bueno, parece que aún queda algo de Honerva! lector@. más diversion para él).

So I have to watch Defender of the Universe for a speech I’m doing in class... and it’s super painful except for the moments with Zarkon and Haggar because Zarkon constantly compliments her on her ideas and remarks that he is so lucky to have her and loves her mind. It’s actually really adorable.
