The facets of John McLaughlin's opus may be too numerous to mention in our very own discussions. True, I can try to achieve this as much as I can, though I must admit his collaboration with Katia Labèque surprises me the most. I mean, I get why they worked together, the reasons for that belong in the category of McLaughlin's personal life, which is not a theme I'm interested to discuss, so let us check the music they did. I mean, they sort of mixed jazz and classical, which does make sense. Both of these idioms continue to be cherished more often for their pasts despite the fact their presents keep having more power than many are willing to admit. The Mediterranean succintly present that by providing us with another set of sounds, where Mr. McLauglin found himself functioning well.

Day by day i listen to the bullshit these muslims (both men and women) promote in the name of their religion, i understand more and more why the western world doesn’t give a fuck about muslim oppression and why the world is so Islamophobic (which includes me).
Islamic scholar, Zakir Naik, visited my country Pakistan and started preaching why the rapists and murderers deserve forgiveness because allah is forgiving. He preached too much shit like why is it women’s fault rape happens and men have right to marry four times in islam that too to the audience of people who live in a deep rooted misogynistic society where every male is a potential rapist.
*Edit: just found out he also claimed that unmarried women are 'bazaari aurat' meaning prostitutes!
A brave woman amongst the crazy audience dared to speak up for women’s rights boldly and for the women who are victims of domestic violence, this bastard instantly villainised her in front of everyone, portraying her as if she had committed blasphemy against islam, knowing very well the mullah cult mob could lynch her to death any second.
There’s a whole debate going on on the internet regarding this and as expected, the public is supporting and praising him. A friend of mine said some words against him on her story and she received a text from another WOMAN who said something like "dOn'T lEt wEstErn wOrLd dIvErT yOur mInd! He sAid nOthInG wRoNg. MEn aRe aLLowEd tO mArrY fOur tiMeS iN iSlAm iTs AllAhs oRdEr🤡"
This man is banned from all the western countries for a reason and muslims like him are the reason why the western world gives them silent treatment. I don’t blame them at all for their Islamophobia. It’s the muslims fault completely. You behave like that, you get cancelled globally.
islam is the most misogynistic cult on this planet, but we are supposed to listen to allah's commands and don’t listen to the western feminists otherwise we are white supremacists or Islamophobic! To hell with that! I will always listen to a western feminist over what a mullah or a mulli in her ninja 🥷 suit has to say!

Loved MONKEY MAN. What a delight of a film! It has a couple of slow spots but it is so much fun! People comparing it to JOHN WICK movies are selling it short. Dev Patel is out for blood and he acts like it. Sharlto Copley is brilliant in his 5 minutes of screen time. As for Dev, man, major props to him!
Cultural side notes: (a) Kudos to Dev for putting the modern day saint in museum level ancient carved wooden sandals. (b) I'm still proper shocked to have seen that the musician was played by a living legend, tabla maestro Zakir Hussain. The interplay of sounds made by him and Dev in the workout scene is a clever play on a "jugalbandi", a sort of performance where there is a 'dialogue' between classical dancers and musicians; the musician puts down a beat and the dancer has to 'say' it back to them through their footwork. That scene was so much fun! (What's even more amazing is that they even had another scene before this as a primer, where the maestro plays two tablas as though they are two voices talking to each other. They thought this through!)

I don't know if this is true or not, but if you have to call your publication "Plain Truth Magazine", I will immediately assume you are lying.
Also, if you put a claim next to a photo of Zakir Naik, I will assume you are lying.
There will of course be times when these assumptions are incorrect but I'll take my chances.

I'm replaying Ellana's save file a bit and just replayed the scene with Morrigan, Flemeth, and Kieran - and I am happy I did, because I totally forgot that Flemeth takes the old god soul from Kieran. I thought he still had it and thought we had a good chance of seeing him in Veilguard.
I do still think they need to pay off which soul it is - I strongly suspect Flemythal taught Morrigan about the Dark Ritual, maybe even encouraged her to do it, or at the very least orchestrated Morrigan finding out about it if she thought Morrigan wouldn't listen to her directly. So why this Blight? Why was this archdemon's soul worth attempting to preserve? Or did she try it with every Blight and fail? (Obviously, in many world states, there is no Dark Ritual for the Fifth Blight either, and it's entirely possible that Morrigan did come up with this on her own - or I am misremembering what we do know from DA:O, it has been so long.)
So which soul is this? A friend of Mythal's from within the pantheon? If I had to give an off-the-cuff unresearched answer, I might guess Dirthamen, given all the "secrets" Kieran knows, but I wouldn't put money on it.
I really hope they pay this one off for worldstates where this scene happens. I am so desperate to know!
Bonus desire: I would love it if they paid off the Architect somehow, particularly for worldstates where your Warden let him go.

Was thinking about my fancast for Amara’s parents and the fact that they were neglectful in the fic and obsessed with each other…no excuse, but I sort of get it?!
