Zack sat up with a start, his heart pounding in his chest. "K-Kunsel?" he got out, confusion in his eyes as he gripped the sides of the couch he had apparently fallen asleep on. He could barely remember the nightmare as it had started to fade the second Kunsel had shaken him awake, but it had been vivid and apparently enough to get his friend's attention.

"Shit, I didn't talk in my sleep, did I?" he said, giving a somewhat nervous laughter as he ran his fingers through his messy hair.

“ Hey, Cloud. You see that? ” Zack would fling a hand up to point at a fleeting patch of real sky in between the city’s mako-tinged smog. “ If you squint really hard, you can almost see the- ”

‘-stars from here.’ Just like when they were out on the run -- but that thought would get lost in the silence as Zack instantly went quiet with just a glance to his side. He should’ve known better; that weight on his shoulder wasn’t normal, no matter how familiar it’d felt. Cloud didn’t need to be propped up on his side just to sit up anymore. In fact, his friend would’ve protested against it now, but to see Cloud fast asleep against his bicep was honestly the last thing Zack had expected to see when he’d turned.

Not that he’d move though. Zack wouldn’t dare to; not when his instincts were forcing him to sit there, stationary, just so he could listen to Cloud’s breathing uninterrupted. Steady and smooth. Good; Cloud really was just taking a nap -- so Zack would shift to make himself comfortable, too.

“ ...You know Tifa and Aerith are gonna be expecting us back soon. ” Zack was talking to himself and he knew that, but...well, some old habits were just hard to break. “ Eh, they’ll probably understand if we’re late. Right? ”

update on the reposting stuff :

· I asked the person who resposted my stuff on tiktok to remove the post, they apologised for not giving credit, but haven't removed it yet (idk if they will)

· the instagram acc which used it apologised but seemed mad/annoyed at me, and I guess I was right cause they made their account private a day after (I asked them to remove it yesterday, and today the acc is private)

· I dont know if they removed it cause you can only follow them if they accept your request, and I have a feeling that if I request to follow, they won't accept

I've noticed quite a few of blank blogs interacting, and while I have no problem with that, I know some people do and might be a little cautious especially if you dm them or write something in their inbox. I can also do this with blogs that aren't blank !

for a prompt you could just write something like "pfp + header with the sunset" ! If you want it to be more agere or kidcore related also include that, and if you don't know what you want just write something like "random pfp and header". :)
