This is Lois Lane face when Superman died the love of is life is death and she look like this

Lois Lane she spent this time "grieving" the loss of the love of is life doing nothing just went to one place over and over again and when she was going to move on he came back

(And there is also the fact that it was not too long, it was maximum two months)

But Bruce Wayne he went to put together a team because of a promise he made on his grave {see number 4} and he felt desperate for not finding any of the others

(In the same time then Lois was "grieving" Bruce he was going crazy in the mountains to find Aquaman in a place that the people who live there say is impossible to do that travel)

This is the face of somebody who lost their love of his life when he said "he died fighting next to me" Bruce looks so heartbreaking like he is suffering from just saying that

Okay so this line is when Alfred and Bruce are in the jet going back to Gotham and Alfred say that Bruce is working so hard to find this people (Aquaman, Flash and Cyborg) he is going to make the justice league for Superman

Now there's something that feels off why Lois Lane have a box with things of Clark like she is not his wife why Martha the mother of Clark don't have it, and the other thing off is she was going through the private things of Clark then she find the ring and this delusional girl put it like seriously let's put this in context

You boyfriend dies, you don't give anything of him to his family (BECAUSE THE SCENE WITH MARTHA AND LOIS BEFORE SUPERMAN CAME BACK IS NOT MARTHA) , you find this ring then you think yes he was going to ask me to marry him (AND PLEASE SHE JUST ASSUME THAT) and when he came back he say so that is a yes just because in they delusional head that have sense

This don't have sense okay you didn't propose to this girl she just put this ring then you came back and boom engaged

I know the Bruce is talking about the team but seriously is the most emotional line along with this other lines

He say the it was the guilt but really Bruce it was going fully on a suicide mission this entire time but now he have faith because Superman

And awww he defending Superman against Alfred is so cute

The commentary from Alfred his about the team no Superman he never say anything about Superman Bruce just say that he was like Cady with Regina George obsessed with Clark

She was moving on

In the scene when Superman came back Lois take the pregnancy test 🙄 really and she was going to move on she was going to say goodbye to the memory of Clark (IT WAS LIKE 2 MONTHS THE HE DIED) and she get over him so quickly and he came back and she is like OMG 👁️👄👁️

In the same time Bruce with the team the are doing witchcraft to resurrected him and he so desperately trying to get him back like super desperate when Superman attack him Bruce said

"Clark, no this world needs you. "

Like I'm starting to think the delusional girl is me but meh 😐

The reunion of Lois and Clark

What is wrong with this people YOU SMELL GOOD seriously YOU SMELL GOOD like what you boyfriend/future fiance or whatever came back to life and the first thing you say when you two are alone is YOU SMELL GOOD

Clark was like WHAT DO YOU MEAN

Now the reunion with Bruce is good no great but good

Superman go to Bruce house find Alfred there and is like I'm late

And Alfred is like he say you would come

They fight this dude and win then they have this epic scene all the Justice League together but first Clark help to Bruce to get up with all of them he grabbed his arm and they share a cute look

See this is how you make a good reunion no YOU SMELL GOOD just a cute look and buy the house of his childhood back from the bank if this don't work buy the bank

For this I watch the movie 5 times

Today, in celebration of the new season of My Adventures with Superman Season 2 Finale and the increasingly more detailed information we’ve been getting around James Gunn’s upcoming Superman feature film, we’re going to be digging into an essay I wrote a few years back comparing and contrasting the approaches the Christopher Reeve-led and Henry Cavill-led respective Superman origin films have to the Superman mythos.

Am I the Only One Who Resents Watchmen?

Like, don't get me wrong. Watchmen is a phenomenally written book, Alan Moore is an excellent writer, For the Man Who Has Everything is an amazing episode of JLU, I appreciate the book and I get it. But, did it really help?

I admit I'm no literary scholar. But I really feel like Watchmen hasn't had its intended effect on society. Lemme explain.

I feel like the point of Watchmen was to be the gun that killed superhero comics for a while. I feel like Alan Moore made Watchmen not just as a good superhero satire, but as the leeway for more diverse comics. Think your Preachers and your horror comics and all that. But instead, society got the exact OPPOSITE POINT of what Alan Moore intended.

Of course, for as long as there's been satire, there's been people who have misunderstood it. But, I don't think that there's been a satirical piece of media that has done as much DAMAGE do a medium such as Watchmen.

Sure your pretentious high school literature teacher might teach you the wrong lesson to be derived from Lord of the Flies, but I don't really see it REACHING people like Watchmen does.

However, I don't think that this is Watchmen's fault. I think it's Zack Snyder's fault. Now, to preface, I don't hate Zack. Do I fundamentally disagree with his interpretation of superheroes? Yes. Do I think that Zack Snyder doesn't even LIKE superhero comics to begin with? Yes. But I don't hate him. He's just a dude that makes movies, and, from what I've heard, he's a delight to be around.

BUT, I feel like Snyder's Watchmen perpetuated this misinterpretation of the original comic to an umpteenth degree. I admit, I'm too young to attest as to what society was like before the Watchmen movie came out (I was like 5 when it released). However, I would like to believe that it was a little harder to get your hands on the book back then. I'm sure that the comic book phobia was even STRONGER back then. So to have a movie that fundamentally misunderstands the source materials and preaches the opposite mentality of the original book, that kind of immortalized this bad interpretation.

Essentially, Watchmen 2009 basically did what The Wolf of Wall Street did to douchey guys to the entire comic book layman.

Ironically, I LOVE Doomsday Clock. But that's another story. But is there anybody else who shares this sentiment? Am I crazy here?

My Adventures with Superman brings Hope back to the Man of Steel - REVIEW Ep 1 & 2

*Spoilers for the first two episodes, now streaming on Max!*

Growing up, Superman always came off to me as a very nothing character. White bread. Good for the sake of good. Not funny like Spider-Man, not dark and cool like Batman, and too powerful to be in any real danger.

He was just there as the original cape and tights. He was important because he did it first, but that didn't make him interesting.

As I got older, and I read and saw him in more media, I realized the fun of Superman comes from the kindness. The hope he brings to those around him and that stable positive force is essential to the world and the Justice League. While he is the most powerful person in the room, because of who Clark is and his values, he's the person you fear the least.

He's gonna save your cat, he's gonna stop that burning building, and he's gonna get the bad guy, as unharmed as possible.

This is where the DCEU lost me, and where I think most Superman content does. That hope, that kindness, the gentle giant that Clark is has somehow been lost in translation.

While Henry Cavill is a great actor and can play the hopeful side, setting the tone of the movies as so dark and serious drained Superman of his charm.

Superman and Lois has done a good job bringing Clark's hopefulness back in moments, but the Zack Snyder DCEU feel coupled with the CW drama still keeps Superman and Lois pretty dark and dire.

While Hoechlin is a fantastic Superman, the world he inhabits has kept me wanting a true representation of the character I love.

Which is why My Adventures with Superman is such a breath of fresh air.

Let's start with Jack Quaid. Using such a pure sounding soul like Quaid to embody Clark was a stroke of genius. While he is known for playing good-ish characters like Hughie in The Boys and Peter Parker/ The Lizard in Across the Spider-Verse, Quaid does not coast on his past charms for Clark.

This character equally feels fresh, different from Quaid's past characters, and like a kid who is transitioning into the Man of Steel.

Whether he is struggling to flirt, scold Lois for lying, or fight a robot, Clark feels genuine, kind, and strong.

As Superman, Clark does not change into a scary, super powered god. Instead, he is trying to help the bad guy, clean up the messes, and rescue kittens from trees. While we only get a glimpse of his true Superman form at the end of episode 2, it is enough for me to get so excited that I'm typing this all out. This is the Superman I've been waiting for!

Rounding out the cast are Alice Lee and Ishmel Sahid as Lois Lane and Jimmy Olsen.

Lee has a quality not always perfectly emulated for Lois in my opinion, which is spunk. Moxie. She is so clearly the leader of the team for the Daily Planet. Couple that with her comedy timing and clear chemistry with Quaid, this may be the blueprint for Clark and Lois in the future.

While usually Lois is a made journalist by the time Clark shows up, starting them at equal footing is an interesting development. I'm hoping they use this to show just how quickly Lois Lane can rise the ranks against others.

While Sahid is utilized the least so far, conspiracy theorist comic relief Jimmy is equally charismatic and likable. He is a character I think the DCEU and CW didn't quite understand the value of, but this show clearly does. My hope is this character goes on to go on as wacky adventures as he does in the comics.

The chemistry between the three characters is very strong for the first couple of episodes. So much so I don't know if I'm more excited for more Lois and Clark romance, Clark and Jimmy bafoonery, or Lois and Jimmy investigating.

While the villains leave something to be desired in the first two episodes, the inclusion of overarching villains Deathstroke, Amanda Waller and General Lane lead me to believe they hope to build out this universe, at the very least into Batman.

If that is true, I am so in.

I can see a world where we have 3-4 different anime shows introducing key members of the Justice League, all leading up to an anime style movie where they fight Brainiac, with Jack Quaid's Superman at the center of it.

But perhaps I am getting way ahead of myself.

All in all, My Adventures with Superman has me excited for Fridays to come. It has heart, it has comedy, and it seems to understand the Last Son of Krypton better than most pieces of media.

This should be the blueprint for Superman Legacy.

A Superman who brings donuts for all his coworkers.
